2141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 30, 2019, 02:54:28 AM
I guess its fine gambling online using fiat only if youre using trusted and high ranked gambling websites. Gambling using crypto would be fine too, but there were also KYC verifications most specially if youre gambling with massive amount. Now, if you have high concern regarding the security of your idendtity, then use trusted and tested websites.

I think KYC doesn't depend on the amount you have.

There are a lot of gambling sites out there that don't really require KYC and even if you have a massive amount of money to gamble, you can do that without sending your information in their site. For me, it is better to gamble using cryptocurrency since you don't need to confirm it to the bank when you will be transacting it and no one will know that you are gambling your crypto.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 30, 2019, 02:00:14 AM
Surely all things come in our life to make us learn things from it. If you had lose once i am sure you must  learnt so much from your mistakes so never repeat and gain experience. Not all gamblers are perfect if you want to spend good time in gambling never be greedy and make sure you don’t gamble with fresh mentality.

You already said it, they are not perfect, they are human that is why they are prone to addiction.

A gambler will still continue to gamble since that is how he lives. A gambler will always think that they can win even if they are on the verge of not having anything. When they are losing, they will not learn, why? Because they think that they are just having a bad day and tomorrow will be different not tracking they are already losing for months.
2143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 30, 2019, 01:32:20 AM
Is there anyone that believes in the rematch of this fight? Of course, Manny wants to check himself once again and Money will probably need money but the circumstances are highly unfitting.

This is the past, beautiful and really memorable, though the past of the boxing. It's a shame but the veterans should let the young guns do all the talking. And fighting especially.

Absolutely! Can we close this thread once and for all?  Tongue We can't expect anything great from Mayweather anyway. Pacman might really give his effort but I seriously doubt Mayweather. Fresh blood are on the rise so let them use the boxing stage this time.

If we are talking about money though, this will happen.

We all know that Mayweather will not be fighting Manny Pacquiao without the huge amount of money, some say that it will be funded and the fight will happen, still, we don't know. The interview with his dad might just be a hype that will leave everyone hanging so the rematch will happen or not, I will be supporting Manny all the way.
2144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Defending against the accusation of gambling on: August 30, 2019, 12:38:37 AM
I won't deny the fact that trading resembles gambling. But in trading, we can use technical analysis. Our prediction has a basis with good entry and exit. In gambling, even we incorporate some strategies we only rely on luck itself. However, both are risky and profitable at the same time

There is a resemblance but it is still different.

We have our goals, we predict on a given price chart that month. Gambling usually relies on luck, and what I said might be the same with sports betting, well, I don't know what to say. This is getting more worse, they are limiting the areas where people should earn, that is the reason why a lot of people hate them more.
2145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: August 30, 2019, 12:19:56 AM
I suggest play some demo first .so that you can obtain strategy and to enhance your skills.  , and also bear in your mind to always follow the basic rules because that's the most important here when it comes doing trading.  .if you have problems with it then make a research,,in fact all of the information could be easily found on google using the simple research. So before asking here in forum make your own technical analysis also.  Regards

This is a good idea not just for newbies but also for the platforms that have this.

I knew a trading application that already has this and it is really amazing since you will be able to try out your plan in order to see whether you will be having a good profit or not. Though it might not happen the same with the real ones, at least you have the idea of how it might work. Since most of them are said here, the only suggestion I had in mind is to keep reading. A lot of books out there written by famous and experienced billionaires, you might be able to pick up some tips and tricks you can use.
2146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Digital Currency can Activate Someone's Financial Freedom? on: August 30, 2019, 12:07:07 AM
We can't, really.

Despite the fact that Bitcoin is giving off good profits in the past months, that is not consistent since we all know here how volatile these decentralized cryptocurrencies are. You might be able to earn a good profit now but in the next weeks, you will not be able to get the same. It is just two things, you might either earn some or lose some.
2147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 29, 2019, 11:06:06 AM
I've been using an online wallet and I don't have a problem.

These kinds of sites have their own security, you can always connect your email, some have their 2FA, some even require a phone number and I am wondering how can someone access your wallet without you being notified of that. Two points to consider, it is either your fault or the sites fault but I don't think the site will just let someone use your balance without logging to your account.
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 29, 2019, 09:52:37 AM
Because they can't really.

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and even if a country bans it, they will never know who is using it since they will never be able to pinpoint a certain user since it is anonymous. Pseudo anonymous it is but still, they will never be able to determine the users so, despite their ban, people can still use it unless the user is a known user.
2149  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 29, 2019, 08:36:19 AM

Let's hope Bitcoin will make them process these transactions faster

Yes, and mass adoption of crypto everywhere will help to do it faster then now.

Why mass adoption?

The reason why the transaction is getting slower is that a lot of cryptocurrencies are being transacted all over the internet. With the mass adoption and the blockchain not ready for millions and millions of transactions will not help, it will just increase the problem though I don't think that is the problem today since it is already improved in the past year.
2150  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: August 25, 2019, 11:40:13 AM
2017 and last year was really a breeding year for ICO scam. It was really a time that scammers made money off people. It is unfortunate and I hope we don't experience such huge scam anymore.

Why do we need to blame this to these ICO scams?

I know that there are a lot of people wanting to earn money through people falling victim into scams and the reason why they are falling into these scams because we lack information, we lack knowledge about these sites. If we have the knowledge, if we have the information regarding these scams, these ploys they made, we will be able to prevent ourselves from being scammed.
2151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] The International 2019: Dota 2 World Championship on: August 25, 2019, 09:47:02 AM
This time Liquid has a strong midlaner on w33haa which makes their play more different than before. So I guess they have a higher chance of winning this ti9 against a much composed OG team. It would be a hell of a game where both team are champions of the last two TI's. My bet would go to team Liquid in 5 games.

My bet lost, Liquid now is facing OG at the Grand Finals.

Liquid won the first game, amazing game, so amazing, expected of what should game be in the Grand Finals of TI. I do not hate Liquid, it is just that I bet on the Chinese team which really disappointed me. My bet is on OG, not just because they are the favorite but because they are a solid team ever since they won TI8. They are consistent at what they are doing and I expect them to be the first team to win TI twice.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] The International 2019: Dota 2 World Championship on: August 25, 2019, 02:05:19 AM
OG is now waiting for the grand finals while they've sent PSG.LGD to the lower bracket.

ATM, Team Secret vs Team Liquid.

I want to see Liquid up against OG in the finals. Then I guess PSG-LGD will not be an easy opponent for Liquid if they will against team secret. It's very exciting to see every match specially this final four teams that are considered to be the best this ti9.
Team Liquid secured the top 3 spot and will be fighting against PSG.LGD tomorrow. While Team Secret, takes the 4th place and gets out of the tournament.

Team Liquid has an amazing run on the lower bracket without any loss.

That is the thing. A lot of Liquid supporters this TI was disappointed at the matches they had before the group stage, but when the bracket went up, Liquid did not lose in the lower bracket statong the fact that they are just laying down a plan. PSGLGD did great, but I think this will be their last match. We will be seeing a TI Finals without a chinese team this year.
Yeah their matches on the group stage aren't really interesting and it's like, "Is this really Team Liquid?" but now they have changed a lot.

There's a belief that they really thrown themselves to the lower bracket but I don't think they've done that intentionally.

Maybr it is a ploy of Kuroky, he's IQ is really over the top when it comes to Dota.

Picks that is usually unpredictable and yet won a lot of their matches made Liquid conquer the lower bracket. I am amazed by that, that IO counter pick with their match against Secret really made it clear, Liquid is aiming to win again TI, this time without Matumba, and they will lose against PSGLGD

I think this is the opposite of what you've said.

Liquid did great in the lower bracket but I don't think they will be able to beat Psg Lgd tomorrow since there are only a few mistakes this team is making, Liquid on the others side got away from the mistakes they had in their recent games. If you will be seeing it, Miracle usually overextends in clashes, which make him usually a bait and leaving it all on w33 and his teammate's shoulders. If that will be countered by PSG which is flawless on their recent games, I think LGD will have a rematch and I think that will happen. LGD might be the champion, I'm telling you, they will win this TI.
2154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading full time on: August 24, 2019, 12:55:05 PM
I agree that if you can successfully trade, then you should seriously think about how to quit your main job and completely posyatit yourself to trade. Of course, it can be very difficult to make such a decision, because it is difficult to give up stability. But it should also be borne in mind that if you trade, then you will not need to spend money on ride, food and other daily expenses.

In my experience, that did not go well.

Of course, what I did is an experiment about it. It is my week off my work and I only use profits I got from my investments and trades, I did not use my salary. Days went by and the price is not on my side, that is the thing here. Cryptocurrencies are so volatile and if you don't have that much money to risk on trading or investing, I guess you should stick to your job since that is a stable source of income for you.
2155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: August 24, 2019, 12:19:48 PM
There are a lot of things you can read and view as a reference.

This is the internet and if you are finding tips to earn money, there are a lot of sites, a lot of videos and a lot of articles about cryptocurrency trading. I am not a professional trader nor an experienced one, all I know is that it is better for you to read some information to educate yourself to it. You don't need to be hasty since that is the mistake of most of the new ones.
2156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: August 24, 2019, 11:55:16 AM
The idea is good but I think the correlation between the two is low. It's possible to use crypto as a way of payment in a game but since most people still don't have an idea about it, game developers maybe haven't thought of it as an option. Also, I don't think people would pay in games using crypto.

I think they thought about it but there are some problems with it.

The first thing I can remember here is Steam when they accepted Bitcoin as a payment method. Some players are happy about it since they will be able to pay using their BTCs but the thing is that there are a lot of videos teaching people how to get a paid game for free in Steam using Bitcoin payment, one of the reasons they remove the payment method.
2157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Eats the World, or Not on: August 24, 2019, 11:04:20 AM
I don't think Bitcoin will ever replace anything.

Even though the price of Bitcoin continues to pump in the future, I don't think it would be the case where everything we buy and we pay, we always include Bitcoin in it. Bitcoin will stay as it is in the future, the only thing I am seeing different in that future is that Bitcoin will be developed at that time and obviously, it's price.
2158  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy - The media says we shouldn't be afraid on: August 24, 2019, 08:38:14 AM
Personal tip: Data will become the biggest commodity in next 5-10 years of time. Invest in such companies who controlls data of the masses. That may be beneficial for the future!

I agree here.

I asked someone about how he's doing and he told me he's doing great and also asked him what is a good investment these days since we usually follow him when it comes to it. He did not say anything but he did pointed the same tip as you posted. Maybe it will be a big thing in the future and I think it will really be a good investment.
2159  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: August 24, 2019, 05:37:06 AM
I think this depends.

With the volatility of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole, obviously there will be a lot of changes in the way you are investing since you will depends on the movement of the market whether you will be holding for a long time or in a short time.
2160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 24, 2019, 04:43:55 AM
I will still choose Litecoin. But a better strategy is to buy Bitcoin now, wait for it to raise prices and alts to lower prices, then trade to earn more LTC.
Because alts' seasons will come soon, we need to be more patient. When the hype has reached its limit, it will explode and spread to the surrounding coins. Wink

I would really choose Bitcoin over Litecoin right now.

Bitcoin is making good movements in the past months and I don't think that it would be spoiled this month, maybe it will continue on making a good rise in the upcoming months. Litecoin in the other hand is still on that side where it is not making good movements but having a quite stable price change. If you want to risk your money, I will go with Bitcoin.
