2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: May 19, 2022, 10:38:18 PM
I planned to buy some altcoins now that we are in a bear market but someone I knew is telling me not to, that its possible more dumps will take place, my question is how will I know when it's the right time to buy coins?
If the price of Bitcoin plunged, its likely altcoins will follow and thats the time to take advantage the dip. However, even you buy at lower price of the alts you chose, there's no guarantee that the price wont move downward further because we really cant predict the next movement, thus you must be prepared for it. Anyway if you're going to invest in altcoins its best to choose the coins that are already established, or those who are in top 10 of CMC. Dont forget also to include Bitcoin in your portfolio because its the most reliable crypto coin.
2142  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: May 19, 2022, 08:16:26 AM
Would you rather buy a house to live in or rent an apartment to invest in bitcoin  Since bitcoin is experiencing bear what decision will you take make use of the season or let it pass.
I will buy a house to live in since its also an investment, not only for myself but for my family as well. The value of real estate tend to increase so its not a bad decision to commit. On the other side its true that Bitcoin is currently declining and a good time to accumulate however its best to use a capital that you can afford to lose since the future of Bitcoin is uncertain (though we are optimistic it will reach another ATH). But then, investing in Bitcoin can wait so buying a house should be the priority.
2143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: May 19, 2022, 04:13:51 AM
Its good that you invest in Bitcoin instead of altcoins.

But its not wise to put all your investment funds to Bitcoin alone. When it comes to crypto, its already given that Bitcoin is the most reliable investment, however it has still risk and we dont know what lies ahead since everything is unpredictable.

Diversifying is still advisable but it doesnt necessarily mean it has to be on crypto because there are also Gold, real estate etc. Anyway, you already made a decision and as a Bitcoin holder too we only want a positive outcome.
2144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is everyone that got in late last year in the red now ? How bad is it ? on: May 19, 2022, 03:35:31 AM
But did you sell some of your Bitcoin last bullrun or you prefer to keep holding?

I sold everything into PAX Gold a few days ago. I've looked into this prior to that, and most good investors outside of crypto ( people moving millions of dollars a year ) rely on "stop losses" targets. That means there hast to be a limit to how much you are willing to lose. For me the limit was somewhere between 2 and 3 times my initial investment in 2020, so when it hit that target, I was out. No regrets now, I can always get back in when the market is much lower, which it looks like it it where things are heading now. If I time the bottom correctly, I can easily make another 3X on my money.
Having a stop loss can prevent ourselves to further losses and thats a wise thing to do. Even I sell at an early stage I dont have regrets because regardless of how much I gain from selling, the point is I profit and thats what matter. Just like what you have said we can still buy back once the market is in bearish. Just like now majority of coins are moving downward hence its an opportunity to fill our bags. Nevertheless, holding is still a profitable way to certainly gain from our investment but this depends on the coins that we're going to hold.
2145  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: What Happen to Terra(Luna)? Malaki Ba Nawala Sa Inyo? on: May 18, 2022, 05:47:29 AM

2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 18, 2022, 05:34:01 AM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!
All investors have suffered a lot for this lunar. Almost all investors have lost a lot of money by investing in Lunar.UST is now a stable coin. People used to invest a lot of money in UST.Because this UST was a stable coin.Whenever it became a lot of dumping people got a lot of damage. Luna turned into a scandal. For this, all the markets became very dumping. And all investors are now in despair. It seems like a lot of risk now to invest.
Thats why alts are often ideal for short term holding. If you already earn, dont be greedy and take profit already. Crypto is unpredictable and the future is uncertain. Many investors lose their money for investing in LUNA, now its hard to say it can recover because it seems this coin is already over. Those who lose their money for investing in this coin now learn a lesson the hard way. But thats how it is, investing is risky thus its best for us to be careful on where to invest our money.
2147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: May 18, 2022, 01:16:17 AM
The site functionality should come first as your priority because thats how you can make gamblers stay playing on your casino.

Whats the point of having a good brand name if the functionality of your casino is not something that most gamblers expect and prefer?

But anyway, like most users said here, if you can have both then that would be even better. Thats not a guarantee to have a successful casino but certainly its a stepping stone to achieve it.
2148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Luna( Terra) worth to invest? on: May 17, 2022, 06:08:44 AM
It’s a complete gamble I’m so glad I didn’t listen to everyone in the beginning I just planned on buying it and holding cause you never know I’ve more than 10x my investment Cashed out and just put 500 in it to stay.
Good for you. I didnt invest in LUNA but I know someone who does and its half of his entire savings. Now he is really depress for the outcome of his investment. Who would have thought this will happen? But thats how crypto works, really unpredicted. So for the op's question if its worth to invest in? Now we know the answer.
2149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto signals without service fees on: May 17, 2022, 05:17:07 AM
So you had never posted in the forum since you created your account in 2018 but felt to argue to wake up today to post about a random crypto signatl group that you "liked" and you think we are going to beleive that?

It's very obvious that it's your crypto signal groups and no, it's not free and should never be trusted for the reasons i will quote here;
Indeed. After few years he just woke up to promote this crypto signals group claiming its free. So probably he's assuming many traders will become interested to join his channel. But why do we have to join in this trading signal if we can do our own analysis. There's a possibility that this group is created to pump and dump a certain coin and those who will believe their signals might end up losing their money. So beware because trading signals are often not reliable.
2150  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: May 17, 2022, 01:45:16 AM
Want to share some an experience.
Im a new member for livecasino.io, found that on games and round because  they are welcoming for those user  to join with some promotions. I thought that was good one. I did deposit and play some games they, then won. Then I went for withdrawing, all those my deposit, bets and withdrawal as tested the legit of the site. Waiting a few hours I got some an email, I need to do some KYC. Since I already tick TnC so I go for that. After I did withdrawal my account is "confirmed suspicious behavior." I don't know how.
I'm okay if they "suspicious behavior" then not let me valid as participant of event welcome. Pity of me just let my money go and my personal data on their pool.

Im lost my money and my identity which mean those are sensitive. They are went with some  promo, look like make some trap for those people.
Please don't asking about how much is value  "$" but it's totally hurt and hows the scammer work.

Just beware guys, once you put your money then do same things. I just worried if they not paid then hide at TnC as "suspicious behavior" .

Im not competitor or something work for money, but let me experience as your consider.
Have you asked the support for the specific reason on why your account is accused of suspicious behavior? What games did you play? and how much is the amount that you're going to withdraw? Did you read their Terms and Condition before playing on their site?

I have been playing on livecasino without getting any problem. The withdrawal takes only few minutes to approve and there's no need to undergo for KYC.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: May 16, 2022, 12:09:27 PM
Its risky for newbies to invest in new projects unless you're really certain that it is legit. It would be better to invest in old projects like well-established coins because they are already existing for years and even the market is in bearish, its not going to be dead and still bouncing back once the market recover. So if you're a newbie choise wisely on where to invest your hard-earned money.

Regarding on the project you mentioned, im not familiar with that so DYOR in order to know if its worth to invest in.
2152  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: May 16, 2022, 06:27:06 AM
Not all social media platforms would be an effective way to advertise any casino site since not all of their users arent into gambling. I would prefer gambling-related platforms and forums which discuss things about gambling that also have a huge number of target players. A good advertising strategy has a huge positive impact on the site and could also help in building up a good reputation.
Both have their good and bad points, advertising in websites which are specialized and talk about different gambling topics are a good option to advertise a casino, but most likely all the users there already have a favorite casino so it is going to be difficult to convince them to try another one, and while using a social media campaign means that your advertising now lacks a specific target audience and that many people are not going to be interested in your casino, the few that are interested most likely are new gamblers, which will be eager to try your casino right away.
You have a point. But even gamblers already have their own preferred casino for playing, there's still room for new casinos to became well-known. Its just depends on how they will market their casino, like their unique features and generous bonus that can attract the gamblers. Regardless if you promote in sites or social media platforms, the chances to succeed depends on the strategy to gain the attention of the gamblers.
2153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 16, 2022, 05:50:09 AM

Marketing indeed plays a big role in the success of the gambling business and  Roobet also know this as they always come up with different competition and contest in the best interest of the company and the gamblers. Roobet is leading the way in marketing and other casino can also follow them.

Many casino put in a lot of effort and money to market their website but they all have their own focus. Roobet does marketing in the form of art contests on this forum (and other competitions on the site), while other casino do more marketing on Twitter with giveaways, ... I need to admit that I miss that the competitions that Roobet was doing on this forum in the form of "guess the correct slot" or "guess the right wager".
I also miss these contests (guess the slot and guess the total wagers), its fun and easy to join. I wonder why they stop it, I hope they resume these contests because it is one of those I always follow. Anyway, Roobet is really good when it comes to marketing, thats why the result is undeniably positive for their casino.
2154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: May 16, 2022, 03:17:39 AM
Remember November 2018, it broke $6000. Went to like $5K, people assumed it was the bottom and then the ultimate rug pull down to $3.2-3.5K.

You could of waited and bought close to the mid $3K for weeks.
The thing is, we cant certainly predict if that specific low price is already the bottom and there's no further downward movement. Thus it depends on our own analysis and what we think could be the perfect time to buy. Like I have always said, every dip is an opportunity to accumulate since we cant pin point the bottom. Thus if you have a budget and the price is declining then just buy and have a set price when to sell.
2155  Economy / Economics / Re: Taking loan during high inflation? on: May 16, 2022, 02:09:45 AM
But the question is what if you do not own enough money for investing? can you take a loan and invest?
Investing has risk, there's no guarantee of sure profit. Therefore its not recommended to take a loan just to invest since the outcome is uncertain. This is the reason why if we're going to invest, its advisable to use your own money. Its not necessary for it to be huge because any amount will do as long as its your spare money that you can live without.

If you take a loan, certainly it has interest and its a responsibility for you to pay. But its a problem if things wont go as planned in your investment.
2156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is everyone that got in late last year in the red now ? How bad is it ? on: May 16, 2022, 12:44:48 AM
I'm still in the green...more than double my initial investment. But then I got in nearly 2 years ago.
But did you sell some of your Bitcoin last bullrun or you prefer to keep holding?

For investors who bought Bitcoin few years ago, the current price is still good to sell because its more than the price they bought their Bitcoin. I also prefer to be a long time hodler however there are times you'll be tempted to sell especially if the market is in bullrun. But this time I'll do my best to hold because its really profitable to keep your Bitcoin for long period.
2157  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 15, 2022, 08:06:10 AM
1xbit didn't have a good reputation a while ago. They then put together a new management and team, and solved all the problems and answered all the issues on the forum. It is therefore logical that people adjust their opinion and react from negative to positive. We've seen that so many times on a forum at a gambling site, so why shouldn't it be with 1xbit?
This site has a history of many scam accusations (both previous and present) that remain unresolved.

Hence dont expect this casino to receive a positive feedback from the community because 1xbit is still a shady casino and cant be trusted.

You're one of the sig participants who get paid for promoting their casino so im not surprise why you're taking their side.
2158  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 15, 2022, 07:00:37 AM
As far as I know rollbit is the first casino which have NFT and try to search it on google then see this result https://www.newsfilecorp.com/release/99325/Rollbit-Becomes-First-Ever-Casino-to-Launch-its-Own-NFTs so there's no question that they are the first in terms of adoption on new trend. And for sure they will not stop here since we know Rollbit is active on promotion so whatever new trend came for sure this casino will join since this is better for more exposure to their business.
Its an advantage for Rollbit to be the first to adopt NFTs because it was a success.

Well, its not surprising because they really make an effort to promote their Rollbots both v1 and v2, thats why it has a good result that affect their casino positively.

Gaining investors as well as gamblers to play and trust their site are just one of the positive impact for launching their own NFTs.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 15, 2022, 05:40:57 AM
In the GCASPP app itself, you can access the online betting (Pitmasters) different from the only method before that you can only play thru an agent and send them the money. Since it was easily accessed on the GCASH app, the deposit is just one click making the whole gambling easily accessible by almost all GCASH users.
Either you'll need an agent or directly use the app, the fact is many bettors became addicted because it is convenient and accessible even for minors.

Its not really surprising why it became popular because cockfighting is a traditional gambling game in PH. Thus when the e-cockfighting became available, many got hooked, some people earn but its likely majority of these gamblers lose their money.

Nevertheless like any other gambling games, if you dont have control you might really end up in a worst situation.
2160  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💥🔥Fairspin.io🔥💥 | Blockchain Casino to Play🤩 & Earn🤑 on: May 15, 2022, 04:31:33 AM
When registering there is a telephone number and date of birth that must be filled in, is this possible for players not to fill it in?
I didnt see that they're asking for date of birth or maybe they remove it? I think phone number is really required to create an account. Asking for it is not a big deal but usually gamblers prefer to register without asking for personal details.

@Fairspin, Is there upcoming promotion exclusive for Bitcointalk user?  Grin
Im also wondering if they have promotion for users here because they launched their signature campaign. It can attract gamblers to play on Fairspin.
