2141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: February 16, 2022, 05:15:39 PM
We should not forget to take profit at times especially if our coins are increasing, thats the purpose why we are investing, to gain from our investment. But sometimes people are greedy to earn more, even the price are high enough they are aiming for much higher price. Well there's nothing wrong with that especially if you dont need the money yet, but isn't it more wise to enjoy some of your profit? Anyway we have different strategies and certainly know what is best.
I thought they do not need a money yet but why they are greedy to earn more profits? They shouldn't lie for their selves and they should cash out early if they want to or if they still have the chance because this could not be repeated anymore. They are greedy for profits so they invest on pump and dump coins, that is why the chance of earning a profit can be for a limited time only but yeah who we are anyway to educate them? That was their life and they know what works for them.

I think the op is already mixing the trader and the investor. It is not the investors role to buy and sell and buy and sell but i think that is already for the traders.
2142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is difference between HODL and staking? on: February 15, 2022, 02:36:27 PM
Of course, hold and staking are very different things, but I prefer staking without a time contract so I can sell at any time without being penalized for fees, and I think staking is more profitable than hold because we can get extra earnings.
I am not really into staking but i think i have seen a staking platform that is the same as what your describing.
Where you can just connect your wallet and they are not like the staking that have a fee or have a lock in period.
What is good with this is that our coins are still with us, we still hold them so our earnings will be double now?

We can get profits from the staking platform and also natural profits from the coins that we hold inside our wallet.
It looks like both staking and holding are very close to each other and have no major difference at all. There is no need to choose between of them but we can just do them both. Two is always better than one.
2143  Economy / Economics / Re: Dealing with tax and crypto ban on: February 15, 2022, 04:32:00 AM
Unless if you do make yourself been using centralized platform on making directly conversions from crypto to fiat then you are KYC verified then sooner or later you would really be taxed up.
Yeah its true that as a citizen on a particular country that we should pay up tax for the benefit of the economy which i couldnt really blame out some people because some countries does
really have that kind government which is really corrupt which they would really be hesitated on paying up taxes.
It is through these centralized exchanges that the government would be able to tax crypto currency traders. Centralized exchanges are linked to the government and are being regulated by them, so if they are placing any taxes, it is going to be through these centralized exchanges.

But, I don’t think that the government would be able to charge tax when a user is making use of a decentralized exchange to trade, because these exchanges that are decentralized doesn’t have any link to the government, so they cannot be regulated at all, so meaning that there wouldn’t be a way that the government would know the traders on the platform, because they have no information about them, not to talk of taxing them.

It is up to the individual, because as far as I know there are so many people who prefers making use of decentralized exchanges just because they are trying to keep their privacy, and there also those who doesn’t mind making use of the centralized exchanges and putting up with their KYC and all that.
2144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin closing balance on exchanges on: February 14, 2022, 01:04:10 PM
I think it's normal at the end of the year they send bitcoins to other exchanges because in order to maintain bitcoin holdings because of the trading stop at the end of December which was carried out in China.
Because every exchange, of course, has its own sales rules, so they make a good decision.
When the price of bitcoin is collapsing, many people think about negative things but believe that, God willing, bitcoin will again give a hijoe sign.
To make it clear. They deposit their bitcoin to the exchange because of the incoming ban in their country? That might be one of the reason but why would they do that in the exchange and not on a wallet? They did not know that the exchange update its list of restricted countries if they saw the banning on the news or if someone from that country message them.

Last year the price of bitcoin is high and people are selling their coins. That can be one of the reason why there are more bitcoins deposits from an exchange. By this year we do not know if the countries that bans crypto will re allow crypto again but that could trigger a price gain and bitcoin balance on the exchanges can grow again.
2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 12, 2022, 09:38:50 PM
I really don't even think that India thinks about this thing as a problem because India is not suffering from this by any means. This is actually rather problematic for Pakistan because through IPL a lot of Pakistani players also could have proved themselves but now they don't have that chance and also the financial loss that Pakistan is having to bear because of this decision. I think Pakistan should improve the quality of their own T20 league and they can have a lot of profit from that.
In Pakistan no one is now thinking about IPL because now their own brand is doing good and in coming years surely future is bright for them with some good marketing is also giving them good response and country economy is also having some good impact on this all about quality it's already having very good impact as many legendry cricketers are fan of this PSL because they are feeling currently worlds top ranked twenty/20 players involved in this league is mean quality of this league.

Now, they are going to complete first phase of seven years which is good with now having new era is coming for them under professional leadership which is going to change many things in near future for better quality and fairness of this league as in start first challenge was bringing this league at home now second challenge is good marketing which will spread this in near future for better fan base around the world.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: February 12, 2022, 09:35:30 AM
I have known some and you can compare these

1. MANA

2. SAND

3. AAVE

and many more even ethereum and bitcoin as well. The history told us if the long term hodl will always become a winner. The only thing that must be remember if this must be a legit token with a proper development. You can take a look at matic chart and that will give you a small insight about how long term hodl work.
Bitcoin and ethereum for sure, but as for the other ones, it is not the same. Over the years we have seen Bitcoin keep increasing in value, and that has also been the same for ethereum and other cryptocurrencies that correlates with Bitcoin in price. But that hasn’t been the same for every cryptocurrency in the market.

There have been some of them that we have seen which had the chance to increase and have a bullish period maybe once, and after that they never got that kind of chance to increase again, rather they just keep decreasing in value every day. So, we also have to be careful when we are talking about long term investments, so we don’t end up investing in coins that wouldn’t be worth it after we have HODL'ed for years.
2147  Economy / Speculation / Re: No strength in Bitcoin in higher time frames on: February 11, 2022, 09:35:14 PM
With the breakout on above of $40,000 this month, I became bullish for midterm on Bitcoin. Look how Bitcoin broke the trendline on a monthly timeframe.
And what I noticed also is *not so perfect support when Bitcoin dumped around $31, xxx - $32, xxx last month, and the $30,000 seems to become strong horizontal support here since last year.
This is what I'm looking right now. After the strong bounce on 30K, We are now finally double bottom in weekly  time frame  which means a super bullish in long term. I'm not looking anymore on short time frame because I'm not doing swing trade on this current price. This might be the last time to see the price on this low level because uptrend is slow building up on long time frame chart. I hope we can break all the resistance along the way to new all time high to sustain this slow pace bullish movement.
Considering how bitcoin price usually just goes up a lot and doesn't go down as much, we are basically living that right now. For the newbies who do not know, we had 1.4k ATH and then we never went below the previous one, then we broke that and had 20k ATH and never broke under 1.4k, and we had 70k now and never went under 20k. Whenever we even got close, it usually turned around and did another ATH instead.

This is why I believe that long term is looking great, we are in a situation where we are going to end up making a good profit and that is why I believe that we should be simply focusing on the long term big profit that is coming our way soon. It could be in a year, it could be less or more but it is coming.
2148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 11, 2022, 08:36:51 PM
If the team behind coinmarketcap could always review the altcoins that they gonna list it’s gonna be great, I figured out that coinmarketcap frequently listing some shitcoins just because they exists and this could cause lose of investment by many newbies in investing.
I think coinmarketcap is also a company owned by binance, if they could make some review just like exactly binance is doing with the projects that they gonna be carrying out, it could significantly reduce the amount of investment loss because of scams projects.
I really wish that they could make this filtering of scams projects comes true because it could literally save many lives and money.
also cmc should reduce the listings of these new projects because so many of them are actually just shitcoins and made for scamming.
Well, it is not an easy task to find out every coin, plus considering these days crypto is becoming more centralized and people want "doxxing or kyc of the team members" for some reason like the greatest crypto doesn't even have a satoshi nicknamed guy at the creation...

It is really not easy because most of the projects are scams, the ones that you see that does well are like one in a thousand, there are so many coins that you do not hear about because there are thousands, we are talking about like at least once a day every single day, probably more frequently, I guess on average like 2-3 per day. This is how many coins are out there. CMC could only list the ones that trade well and look at that part.
2149  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ PlayBitcoinGames.com ♠ ♣ ♦ ♥ Casino with 27 Unique Games and Promotions! on: February 11, 2022, 08:10:24 PM
We spend money on advertising from time to time, but not here usually.

We don't plan to add other cryptos currently, maybe in the future Smiley

We have wagering competitions almost every month, but probably a skill games competition could be a good idea, thanks!
I am curious if what sites was that where you advertise your casino? Because, to be honest I am not seeing your casino on the many places that I visit. If you ask me, I am a person that like to browse the web and this includes crypto sites ( gambling site, gambling review sites, gambling news sites, ... ).

You should consider promoting your casino on this forum sometimes even not in the form of a signature campaign because bitcointalk is the biggest crypto site around the net and we have lots of active gamblers in this forum. So, many casinos that are promoted here on the past are now successful today. Really, no joke .
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about CELO coin? on: February 11, 2022, 07:18:03 PM
What do you foresee for CELO in the future?

1- Can Celo coin be pumped soon?

2- Is CELO coin a suitable crypto to invest in?
1. The answer will be no one knows. If those coins really can increase, the coin will increase at the right time. Otherwise, the coin will not move to any price.
2. I am not sure if Celo is a suitable coin to invest in because you already have so many good coins to invest in, why should you choose Celo? Is there any reason for that?

You can check on the top 100 coin list to find the other alternative coins to be your investment.
I think that will be better but if you think Celo is one of the good coins for your investment, you can still select the coin and start buying.
Volatile cryptos are unpredictable but we can use some guides to tell if possible if which price they will likely fall. Only poor quality coins are the coins that are much harder to predict because they lack of information.

I thought celo coin is one of them but no, I was surprise that celo coin is listed on several top exchanges and the coin has a good volume. I can say that this coin has a potential and can pump soon. The OP did not show his other portfolio, we do not know if he have good coins but if you mean that there are far better choices than this coin? Well, then he can prioritize them first before he allocate some funds on celo coin.
2151  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 11, 2022, 06:51:06 PM
not for sure but the government in India and even in the other countries that adopt crypto will certainly consider it as a helping tool to make money and grow their economy. And the way asking for taxes in every holders is a wise move. However, that it makes sad is that 30% is quite big enough especially for small investors and those who are just about to start.  I think, 20% is favorable and acceptable to the majority.
Nobody is saying that paying tax is bad, of course we are all meant to pay tax from our income because that is what helps the government to make money and also grow economy and make the country a better place. But aside from that, I think the government should also learn to be making rules that will also favour the people and not be kind of oppressing.

And the other thing is that I think this kind of tax should have level, everyone really shouldn’t be paying that same amount, because not everybody earns that much from Bitcoin. And there are people that doesn’t even have much to invest at all. So they really should look into it.
2152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 11, 2022, 05:06:10 PM
If u can fully recall, El Salvador adopted BTC a legal tender alongside the US dollar in September last year.. Now the Salvadoran president, Nayib Bukele has predicted that bitcoin will become a legal tender in two more countries this year. Devere Group's CEO expects 3countries to do so too while Bitmax's CEO expects 5countries to do so.
With this trends it won't be surprising to see other sovereign nation states acquire bitcoin in 2022. Infact it will be a dream come true since Ark research indicated that the fundamentals of bitcoin network have always remind healthy.
Yes, we all heard about the news of El Salvador declaring Bitcoin a legal tender, it was a good news and we were all happy about it. But, don’t forget that that’s not going to be the same case with other countries, maybe they might not like to make Bitcoin their legal tender, and maybe there might also be some others who would be ready to make Bitcoin a legal tender as we have also seen a few others that seems like they have this same intention of making Bitcoin a legal tender.

And if the price of Bitcoin should $1 million soon? I would be happy about that for sure, I don’t think there is anyone who wouldn’t be happy about it, except those that missed the opportunity or are ignoring their chance of buying at lower price now.
2153  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 11, 2022, 04:15:09 AM
Inflation is not really a big problem, inflation beyond target is. And it is not that there is no way to stop it, because economies desire it in the first place. So it is not a question of whether it is impossible to stop inflation or not as there is actually no attempt to stop it. In the current economic system, inflation is indeed an integral part. Inflation incentivizes a lot of things. Wages increase, loan value decreases, consumption increases, and so on. So prices of goods and services have to increase, albeit moderately.
Don’t  know about that, but inflation has destroyed a lot of economies around the world, take Venezuela as an example. So, I can’t really see how inflation would be regarded a good thing, although I do understand that there is always something good about everything that happens, but some things are way too bad that they cause more harm than good and inflation is one thing that I see as such.

In the country where I am living, things has gotten quite bad , lots of things in the market you can’t even afford to pay for them and it’s all because of inflation. You’d see products you used before, and now they will not only get costly, but the quality and the quantity will be reduced as well.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2022, 08:17:48 PM
Bayern Munich are getting closer to the Bundesliga title by each week. Dortmund made a huge mistake and caused the gap to grow again. They don't seem as a trustworthy team now and it seems like an impossible thing for them to take the lead from now on. Unfortunately, we are going to see another title for Bayern Munich. Don't get me wrong because I like them normally. But their domination has been boring to me too like most people think the same.
Although the distance between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund is quite far, it doesn't seem impossible for Dortmund to catch up with them, moreover, there are still quite a lot of matches in the Bundesliga. There are 13 games remaining, if Bayern Munich fail to maximize their potential in at least 3 games, Borussia Dortmund will manage to catch up with their points. I personally think the Bundseliga title race is still quite interesting to look forward to.
I would guess that the difference wouldn't be really a big deal if it wasn't Bayern but some other team. However, we are talking about Bayern here and we should be basically realistic about this. I mean when have they ever really lost all that much? I am not saying that it is impossible but it is also not looking all that possible neither. We should expect them to be losing all that many games to get the league closer.

At this point maybe they will have 2 more losses and 2-3 more draws until the end, but that is it, rest will be full on wins and even if Dortmund wins every single game, they would be barely there, and I would assume that it wouldn't even be enough in that case.
2155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: February 10, 2022, 07:26:40 PM
That's the thing about altcoins, they keep having new and newer stuff. People gave up decentralization long time ago, they are investing based on project founders saying stuff and doing stuff, that is way further from "we do not know who satoshi is" situation we had with bitcoin. Today we get to learn more about who they are and that is really not great.

I know that it is not really that much of a big deal that we are doing it right now, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't really find another way neither. I personally feel like we should not rusting with the "good news" project founders tell us. We should in fact try to find something that is good at release and community improved.
they need to do that because if not then they will get defeated by other alts because the altcoins competition now is so huge while there is no need for bitcoin to change because it is already on the top and cant be moved there and no people does not gave up decentralization because most cryptos are decentralized and only a few of them are centralized. It is bad to follow what are others are saying because not all that they say are legit.

This is why lots of people have got scammed because they are lazy to invest on their own. That was a big deal mate. Anyway thanks op for the effort, not only that your helping others but your also helping yourself to earn if you have ads placed in your blog.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: February 10, 2022, 07:08:08 PM
We all know that crypto is an uncertain market .We can get huge amount of return for its volatility .The market was dropped a deep and was going through the bearish momentum but it has started to recover immediately   .Now we are really on good situation and the market has started to recover .Its true that it was a huge dropped and it will take few more times to recover .So we need to be more patient to recover our price and exit with a good profit .Remember we could not get profit on crypto field if we become panic on bearish movement .So that what just we need to wait for good time to enter and exit after getting a good return.
If we took months to drop from 68k to under 35k, then it could take months to get back. We shouldn't rush into making a profit because that may not end up very well for us. So in the end, we are talking about making a decent amount of money only if we can wait for it.

There will be a lot of people who will get out when they see the price stagnant for a while but the reality is that we have seen stagnant prices before and it still kept going after that period. So, we just need to make sure that we are doing our best by holding as long as possible. Obviously, we could be wrong but in the end if we are right then there are a good amount of profits to make.
2157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What high gas fee have cost me on: February 10, 2022, 02:01:54 PM
Unfortunately, I was also in such situations when it was urgent to either invest in cryptocurrencies or it was necessary to sell cryptocurrencies that was located on the Ethereum blockchain and, unfortunately, I had to act quickly and make expensive transactions, so I have been saying for a long time that the Ethereum blockchain was created for rich people and therefore I try to use this blockchain as little as possible and I hope that in the near future BSC or another blockchain will overtake the Ethereum blockchain.
Back in the days eth is created for all because eth fees are fair but not anymore. No one expected this and I think even the founder himself did not expect this either. This is why they are working hard to fix this issue but why are you hurrying again? Did you hurry because the price of what your selling or the price of what your buying is within your range?

But, I guess you have earned something with it did not you? It is only not worthy to transact if the assets that your selling is lower than the gas fee or if your going to buy coins with unsure future. We still have a BSC that we can use anyway. BSC is now popular but it will take a long time to overcome the legacy of eth.
2158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's wrong with Coinsbit exchange on: February 10, 2022, 11:48:15 AM
Its been 3 weeks that I've submitted my KYC information to coinsbit exchange and till date it's still under process, a friend of mine had account on the exchange and withdrawal is processed everyday, why would they decide not to approved new users because I'm not the only one complaining.
What coins are you going to trade? The coins that you got from bounties and airdrops? Because, if not then you should pick a better exchange. We have lots of them now. Exchanges like binance, houbi, kucoin. Not only that they are more trusted but they could also process a KYC faster than coinsbit.

You cannot compare your friend with you because your friend might be a long time user of this exchange and we do not know what if their policy of approving a KYC have changed lately. You can try following the advice of @crwth. That should shed you some light faster than complaining here because I do not think coinsbit team are active in this forum.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lies and critics about bitcoins on: February 10, 2022, 06:12:42 AM
Well, this is only my opinion that I can share here.
It is not something fresh or shocking to hear any longer. Nowadays, we constantly running into people who oppose bitcoin, and we have seen the media solely report on bitcoin in a negative light. Some articles just look at one side of the story, the negative aspects, without analyzing and examining the positive aspects. That is media, and we cannot control how the media portrays bitcoin. We all know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I had rather crypto be criticized than universally adored because then it can prove itself and work on the flaws.
Your opinion is good, but I think all these people who criticize Bitcoin and lie about it are those who don’t know anything about it. Some of them are also those who never really had full understanding and then they decided to give it a first try and ended up losing their money in it. So, no matter what you trying to tell them they just believe that Bitcoin is a scam, and all they need is someone who would completely explain to them that it is not what they think it is and then lead them the right way.

Sometimes when I meet people who try to criticize Bitcoin, I do end up asking them some questions that would help them realize that what they are saying is totally wrong. And then after that I also teach them properly so that they would understand.
2160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 10, 2022, 05:14:45 AM
I wonder how the lower bitcoin price will go down because it seems the price does not move anywhere and stay at a price now. But it could be dropped for a little and stay again at a lower price. That is something that we need to anticipate, but some people who already sold their bitcoin at $45k yesterday can start placing their order at $40k-$43k because who knows, the price will touch that price bounce like before. There is no sign where the bitcoin price will go, but the correction is not over yet.
This kind of development is very much needed by traders, where they have to monitor the market and take advantage of price corrections to make a profit. but when the big investors have arrived then the trend may change, along with the news that supports the development of bitcoin. Until now I don't think it's clear whether this bear market will end
The bear market is sure going to come to an end, but it is not as some people have been saying it. Some people are making it seem that it is something that would happen as soon as possible, but I don’t really think that is going to be the case. This bear trend is definitely going to stay around for a long term, and we should be ready for it. If that you haven’t invested yet, and you are someone who is interested in being a long term investor, then now would be the perfect time For you to also get yourself prepared for the future of the increase that would take place in the market.
