2141  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 10, 2021, 05:31:27 PM
Currently, there are many usd-based stablecoins such as, usdt, busd, usdc and maybe many others.  To be honest, I used to think that crypto would completely eliminate the usd's dominance of the world economy but I was wrong, it turns out that usd is now evolving to crypto (stablecoins).  What do you think, whether in the future bitcoin or other crypto can replace the role of currency in each country and leave fiat currencies such as usd, euro, yuan and others.

Nothing should replace each other and nothing should take precedence over each other. let them continue to develop according to their times and respect people who are still peaceful using fiat money for buying and selling basic food items. We just need to give each other support (even though the government doesn't agree much with crypto). But let that be the case, we must not have views that undermine the market economy. So far the involvement of cryptocurrencies has helped a lot of middle class people (like me) and it is clearly felt. But bankers see this as a threat.

I don't know the opposition and the regime may have 1000 of ways to eliminate crypto, but they can't.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis vs football on: October 10, 2021, 04:54:32 PM
Maybe you mean a much more effective level of fairness for gambling. Then it depends on what you are looking for when visiting gambling. You only need to determine the intent and purpose of your gambling. As a lover of both for me it is natural. There is nothing that requires extra hard thought both in slot games and score guessing. Just don't necessarily guess if you don't want to lose everything.

For example, you have to know the background of the players, the reputation during the league season, as well as all aspects that sometimes help to be used as a reference as an option. As for slots, you don't have to think about anything, just set how much you want to bet and press the button. I think both gambling at online casinos and betting on sports betting are both based on luck.

As with the others, I really have never touched this game in any gambling. Maybe he's old enough for those who have played games like this. It's a shame I really couldn't find a casino that provides this game. Does this game have a high enough difficulty level?
Honestly if I were in his time, I probably would have played this. a very striking display and also not bored to look at. Lucky people who have played this in his time.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 09, 2021, 09:16:19 PM
Tottenham got their 4th winning in 7 matches in the Premier League. While Newcastle is in their bad form, they haven't won any match this season, and are currently in the relegation zone, and maybe they can get their first winning against Tottenham. With the lastest news about Newcastle, things will indeed start going well for them. However, they need to built up their squad. Last season wasn't a successful one for Newcastle, they were only able to win 12 and lost 17 matches.  I hope to see them end this season in a decent position.

We shouldn't expect a direct win from Newcastle United after recent ownership change because the team is still same. Tottenham also has ups and downs, they don't show a decent performance in every match. Newcastle have a star forward Saint-Maximin who is started season pretty good but they need more scoring options. Tottenham would still be the favorite for this game with their talented players Son and Kane. Last season both games finished as draw, this is another note about this game.
Tottenham is an apsolute favorite in this match and this ownership dosent change anything much in this game. Newcastle has also announced that they have sold out all the tickets for this match already due to new ownership. Newcastle fans believe their future will be much better. Newcastle is currently one of the worst team in the league and until winter transfer window we cant expect much from them.

For now it has not shown the credibility of Newcastle. However, if after the new restoration, there will be many changes that will be implemented later. With a fee that can be sufficient for the transfer of the most expensive player, they are planning it all carefully. We can't say that Newcastle's future is bad, believe me they will have a new line-up.
2145  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economic Problem on: October 09, 2021, 05:40:43 PM
I know that if you want everything to be good from an economic perspective that supports or fulfills all unlimited needs from limited resources, it depends on how the wealth management of a country is managed and the management system of cooperation with the community. If this is not in the control of the economy as a whole, even with unlimited resources, everything will feel less.

If the people themselves do not realize their potential, especially in the surrounding environment, it is the same as owning a car but not being able to drive it. Collaboration between the community and the government must be in line with the economic potential. When all have the energy to build, then no one is harmed. But that is ideal in economics, it's just that nothing is really ideal in managing sources of wealth that are profitable for certain parties.
2146  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitvest is a scam on: October 08, 2021, 07:39:24 PM
My comment to you is: from the title and the text content that is tried and disclosed does not in any way reflect any authentic evidence of how Bitvest casino is said to have committed fraudulent acts against any of the users, especially you.

However, if this really makes you feel cheated, you can attach all the evidence in the fraud thread (but don't forget that all these accusations have valid and accountable evidence) Because this concerns the reputation of the gambling casino that has been around for so long. long and became quite famous. Then suddenly you come in with no proof and spit out the headline: Bitvest is a scam

I think it's simple:
- If you feel cheated, have you clarified with the casino in question?
- If you feel cheated, can we get proof that every submission you make is attached to the thread?

If you don't include those two points, then this is just an accusation without evidence. Lol
2147  Other / Archival / Re: The beginning of the end of traditional payment processors? on: October 08, 2021, 06:37:56 PM
I had a serious question from an economics student in my country, and he was intrigued by the news that El Salvador had adopted Bitcoin.

He said: Would it be enough with the current available supply, if all countries adopted Bitcoin as a legal payment like El Salvador did? if enough what is the reason?

As someone who has limited knowledge, of course, I can't answer it scientifically with strong references. So dealing with this exact topic would be invaluable for me to gain enlightenment from those of you who understand more than what I know.

thanks ...
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin(Cryptocurrencies) is a social movement? on: October 08, 2021, 05:05:21 PM
Do you know the meaning of social in general? Well, that means there's no need to always have someone formally overshadow it. We operate without any government crypto protection. One thing that motivates all elements to advance Bitcoin is the value it contains has the potential to be value for the future. Everything does not need an organization, if it is able to stand alone and has quality then all will be attracted by itself. An example of Bitcoin when it was still in its infancy, was there any support from the government? no !!! But from individual to individual connected. Even cross borders without having to have a permit, just you and me (P2P).
2149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 08, 2021, 04:32:29 PM
I think you are much more proficient than we are at playing poker. I'm not very skilled and don't really get into this game. So I'm very happy if you first share the trick. I definitely really appreciate that. Honestly poker requires a high level of concentration. Meanwhile, my criteria for gambling is only to entertain myself and let my limited knowledge run it. Guess sports scores and play Slots are still my favorites to this day.
2150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 07, 2021, 07:43:28 PM
I don't know if there is somebody who has been gambling for some time who finds dice games profitable. To all those who are playing dice for a long time, I'm sure they are playing for fun's sake. They cannot be thinking of making money by playing dice. They already know that in a game with a house edge, winning will always be sticking to the side of the casino. I don't play dice very often but when I play that is always for fun, never for profit.

agree, that it's not at all a good choice to make a dice game for profit. I prefer to bet on sports that have more real stakes, horse racing is also no less exciting where I can watch wins or losses based on real scores. While the rest is like gambling in online casinos like craps, obviously just for fun.
2151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 07, 2021, 06:17:48 PM
Is this really related or not, but personally what is said to be a kind of gamble from day trading is when they trade futures. So it is very appropriate if you look at the level of profit and loss you get.

At first glance they will be very different, but when juxtaposed both use the same pattern. I can't fully say that this is a 100% form of gambling, perhaps more precisely, there are similarities in features that bring day trading traders like on a platform that uses crypto trading but inside it doesn't seem much different from gambling activities.
If they did really feel the thrill that they are looking for like in gambling then it may be considered as gambling. There are many forms of gambling not just playing card games and many more as long as there is a situation where a person is willing to risk his money just to earn profit. I would say that it is a gambling type of activity but in different way.

Agreed, and it has its own set of rules. Depending on your strategy, trading can also be a game of chance. When you first start trading, you'll often hear or read that you shouldn't treat it like gambling; you're simply casting trades without a proper strategy or knowledge, and you're relying solely on luck, which will cause you to lose money in the long run. You are correct; no matter what kind of game there is with money involved, it is still gambling. As long as you agree on the same rules to win the game, you are good.

I also think so about situations that lead someone to gamble, then trade but have the same risk of losing. So so far in terms of trading I like long term trading. As for gambling, make it only according to the season to see the conditions that support it to entertain yourself. Nothing more than that, the goal will be very much different and avoid addiction.
2152  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 07, 2021, 05:06:58 PM
Nice, but I do not understand how they link the unemployment to inflation, unless they are assuming that less people working means less money circulation or lower speed. Or perhaps they are thinking that too low of unemployment may result in salaries rising, but in that case they are double counting when considering the Labour Cost Index.

Interesting, although limited to US.

According to what I know so far that inflation is clearly the root cause of major problems in the economy. Thus, everything related to finance, whether in the form of wages, inputs and outputs, is also caused by the inflation factor in a country.

An example that I can mention is the country of Zimbabwe which makes us learn many things, starting with the land grabbing in 1992. Maybe you still remember that the country's inflation had reached around 230 million percent, and was followed by a 95% increase in unemployment. This makes the people there cannot feel the wages of their hard work, because the value of the currency is low while the prices of basic necessities are increasing.

Returning to the issue of permanent or temporary inflation, it depends on how a country can manage the available resources and make it a sovereign country and able to sustain the economy that other countries need its resources.
2153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 07, 2021, 04:19:37 PM

My question is : *How far is day trading from Gambling according to you?*
Is that a valid comparison?? Are we soon going to consider the day trading *gambling?*

2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 06, 2021, 09:14:16 PM
Different people with divergent motives for gambling and Dice is the most go to gambling game for fun seekers and passive gamblers, and this has raised some cases in the casino House where you play against a player with different motives to yours. I only visit casino houses just to cash fun and spend my free time, but you will find other players who are always at the casino at all times and always ready to play a game against anyone ready this makes me believe this guy is not an addict but have gambled as they mean of making money and dice being an easy game which relies on luck as the top choice.

Games similar to Dice or slots are mainly created for fun. Because in such games, you can't predict the outcome nor speculate on them. You are totally dependent on your luck. If it fetches you some money, that's the cherry on the top of the cake.

I consider only sports gambling as a serious method of making money. Even through sports gambling is also a speculative activity,  but a lot of considerations takes place before every bet. Rest all arr for fun only!

I don't know if it's true or not, I heard that someone username, then the slot machine and dice system has indeed been set up so that we lose/win according to the applicable time. It attracts a lot of visitors and it is all done to trick the gamblers into feeling addicted which in the end tends to not control the emotions. While considering gambling as an alternative to pleasure, it is much more rational and easy to control by oneself and does not follow the games played by casino owners.

I agree, sports betting is more real, objective and far from being manipulated. After all, it is an effective gambling. So it's no wonder the big gamblers are always there, horse racing, boxing, golf and things we can witness firsthand. Consider slot and craps games will be susceptible to casino manipulation.
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When ETH GAS Price will stable? We paid 33.74$ GAS price for 10$ token transfer. on: October 06, 2021, 08:16:57 PM
It's hard to say that this problem can really be solved. I've had a $10 token buried for almost a year now, quite a lot. There's nothing we can say, because it's been more than a decade. For small traders like us, this is a barrier to freedom of transaction. Maybe not for the people out there who have a commensurate advantage. Again, there is nothing you can do but wait for the GAS moment to drop at a certain time. Stealing time cheaply is often what we do nowadays.
2156  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 06, 2021, 05:07:17 PM
Due to the inevitable inflation, the FED will actually do a tapering in September. However, in the end, they agreed to slow down the tapering process in November. As we know the Fed feels benefited when tapering is carried out, it also affects the profits earned by the Dollar. In addition to the current weakening of the dollar, forcing the central bank to be more aggressive in taking action to normalize interest rates. As a result, we can see inflation according to the U.S.DEPARTMENT OF LABOR can be classified into 6 categories:

2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $2.7 billion merger - Bally's Corp and Gamesys - one of the biggest in gambling on: October 06, 2021, 03:48:38 PM
Cryptocurrency based casinos is really possible though it takes time and regulations might be hard for them since crypto is still not legal in US market, they still haven’t any final regulations with regards to this one. This merger is very timely, where most of the gamblers now prefer to play online, its about time for Ballys Corp. to adopt.
If gambling businesses are already in it, then there's always the possibility that we will be seeing bitcoin being favored by the government because they need to get the favor of the businesses too since they're lobbying.

Of course, all will refer to the policy basis provided by the government for every casino that wants to operate in the gambling business. They could easily add crypto as an alternative to betting. However, they are not necessarily able to have permission from the government where they will follow up transactions without crossing banks. In other words, the violation is a reward for carrying out transactions without any control from the government.
2158  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: October 05, 2021, 10:10:42 PM
If you come when the price is high then obviously it's not the time to go in and place a price order. They grew because of the high level of investor confidence in the past. And you come at a time where it's impossible to show anything when looking at crypto prices already having foreign commodities and holding on so far. It shows that investing in crypto has provided huge benefits.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: October 05, 2021, 09:03:36 PM

just adding some other points to the discussion
on places drugs are forbidden you don't see any ads about drugs on television, radio or whatever, pretty sure that even places with lighter regulations still don't have massive ad campaigns on that

I understand we need ads to feed the "passion for products" and I know from experience that they work

but not all industries need ads

the example of the drug market is a good one because people don't need television or internet ads, it just sells

I don't think so, every product definitely needs advertising so that they can be known by everyone. But in this case, the advertisement has several types of gambling advertisements, drug products, and also all that have the aim of being known. There are direct ads and indirect ads. You have to think about this carefully because advertising is one of the most important factors in expanding your network.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: October 05, 2021, 08:38:21 PM
Gambling is not an instant way to get rich, but gambling can be your instant way to get poor because of losing money.
It really can happen if the gambler has no good self-control and use inappropriate way in gambling. That's why a gambler must be aware of the risks in gambling and choose the right way to avoid huge losses + addictions. In this matter, both skill-based and chance-based games have the same risks leading people to get poor instantly. If someone is too obsessed with being rich through gambling, he probably ends up losing all money and be stressed. In reality, I have seen many gamblers who ended with bad stories.
A gambler who is often playing gambling can have a big obsession to win much money from gambling. But that can prevent by having control over himself to prevent his mind from thinking about his obsession. Self-control will indeed be a must-have for every gambler to prevent anything from becoming worse without controlling it. As long as he does not lose control over himself, he will be okay playing gambling and not worry about losing big money because he will have a chance to prevent that thing happens.

Gradually the process of self-control can be mastered by every gambler who realizes that gambling must save them from being destroyed. We can also do that but not regularly. Usually, the gambler is too aggressive when he has been given consecutive wins and ignores his self-control until it ends in defeat.
