21581  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UN drugs board slams killings in Philippines on: March 15, 2017, 04:34:06 AM
That is a fucked up situation to claim 6500 lives when you are curbing drug problem is a really big number and why does the international community does not speak against that.It is against human rights to kill somebody in the name of drugs until and until he is a problem to the society he must be locked inside rather than giving the capital punishment.

At least that is less than 6500 addicts and pushers in the street that will likely do crime, or kill someone who is innocent. A lot of crimes in Philippines is because of people who are under the influence of drugs. They will mug you in the dark alley, and if you fight them, you are automatically dead. They don't select victims, whether you are young or old, the victims have human rights too, but they are already dead so where is the victims human rights there?

Are you sure that all these 6,500 people were actually drug addicts? There were media reports that at least some of them were innocent bystanders. Also, what was the need to kill them all? I thought that putting them in de-addiction centers would be a much better option.
21582  Other / Politics & Society / Re: United States deploys ballistic missile systems near the borders of North Korea on: March 15, 2017, 04:30:37 AM
This is USA flexing its muscles, in response to North Korea's ballistic testing a few days ago. Putting embargo to North Korea does not going to bear any significant results: sanctions do not have any noticeable impact on North Korea. I think China should be involved more in negotiations with North Korean, but I think the Chinese doesn't want to because of the dictator's erratic behavior, fearful of triggering a total collapse of its neighbor.

The relations between China and North Korea have deteriorated after the former banned imports of coal from the latter. Now only Russia is having some sort of normal relations with the DPRK. But they seems to be reluctant to talk to the Koreans.
21583  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are all american racists? Do they hate all outsiders/immigrants? on: March 15, 2017, 04:25:28 AM
In order to take money from the Treasury is where you need to put it in. Without a functioning economy, social assistance is not. In America goes a lot of migrants from different countries so that work will be someone, skin color is not important.

Skin color doesn't matter, but it is true that individuals belonging to some ethnic groups are more prone to exploit the welfare system. Do you know why the state of California went bankrupt (after Jerry Brown took charge, there seems to be some improvement)?
21584  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate Jew on: March 15, 2017, 04:21:17 AM
I don't hate the Jews and in my country, we don't have large numbers of Jews. I think that most of the hatred against Jews as of now is fueled by the Israeli occupation of the Palestine. The Muslims don't want to recognize Israel, and that is their problem.
I think that the hatred of Jews associated with envy. They belong to the small Nations which are combined for the sake of survival. Sometimes it seems that all key positions in the world, but it's not.

Envy is definitely there. For example, let us compare the Jews with Muslims. There are only around 12 million Jews in the world, compared to more than 1.2 billion Muslims. Yet, the Jews have won 197 Nobel prizes till now, compared with 12 for the Muslims.
21585  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Marine Le Pen win? on: March 15, 2017, 04:17:56 AM
Marine Le Pen would be a good leader for France, because she can start good relationships with Russia and China. Without this France will still be useless country, with no economy.

Marine Le Pen will help France in strengthening its relations with Russia, China, and the United States. But at the same time, the currently cordial relations with Germany and the other EU allies will sour. It is going to be a very difficult choice for the French.
21586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is US election really get hacked? on: March 15, 2017, 04:14:51 AM
Maybe. In my opinion, presidents are just pawns in managing people. Above still there is a "secret administration" that finances the victory or defeat of the presidential candidate.
I don't think so. Trump was not beneficial to anyone. He's not even beneficial to the people who voted for him, they just don't know it yet. No I think that in democratic countries, it all depends on the choice of the people. Power can only slightly increase your score.

Trump has already taken steps that are beneficial to the people who voted him to power. For example, he has prevented some of the American corporations from moving their jobs overseas. Also, he has appointed a conservative as his SCOTUS nominee.
21587  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Protests in Belarus on: March 15, 2017, 04:11:34 AM
Actually, the tax against social parasitism is a good idea. In the former USSR, social parasites were rounded up and they were either shot or sent to the gulags. At least these people should be thanking Lukashenko, as he is not shooting them at point blank.
This is a moronic idea. Same as Lukashenko himself. Around the world unemployed, the benefits are paid, and this idiot wants their taxes to take. How such a thing could come to mind?

Actually, this is a good idea. There are a lot of jobs available in Belarus, especially in the agricultural sector. But the lazy urban dwellers don't want to work. This tax will make them think twice before rejecting any job offers.
21588  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Two memorial documentaries about the undefeated Givi on: March 15, 2017, 04:09:39 AM
Maybe this death is not related to previous assasinations of separatists leaders, but still, it looks very strange to see so many deaths in short period, even if it's not related.
And as I know, any sides in this war Ukraine, Russia) don't have biological weapons. Even if they would have, I don't think they would use it.

It seems that the rebels are honoring the ceasefire, while the Kiev junta is ambushing the rebel leaders. This can get ugly, if the rebels decide to retaliate and start assassinating the pro-Kiev figures in the government controlled part of Donbass.
21589  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trumps Travel Ban? (Round 2) on: March 15, 2017, 04:05:47 AM
President Donald Trump plans on the travel ban is not done randomly but there are major economic reasons behind it. Trump in his one month of being a president has lessen the debt of America by 12 billion dollars compared to Obama who increased the debt of America by 200 million dollars in his first month. By looking at this fact we can determine that the travel ban was a part of Trumps plan whose after effects is the continues increase in US dollars value recently.

The reduction in federal debt was an amazing and unbelievable achievement. Check the link below for the proof from the treasury department:

https://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/debt/search?startMonth=01&startDay=20&startYear=2017&endMonth=02&endDay=21&endYear=2017

But the media refused to cover it, as a result of their hatred towards Trump.
21590  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Yeah, Obama tapped his phone. Nobody thought he'd win. Now the country is fukt. on: March 15, 2017, 04:00:42 AM
It will all be found out eventually. Even if it takes until the end of Trump's presidential term in office.
They will find out whether it was true or not.

Probably Edward Snowden or Julian Assange is having that information. Another set of Wikileaks dump, and you'll know how Obama spied on Trump and the other Republican politicians. But Snowden is going to bargain hard with Trump.
21591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The anti-Putin paranoia. on: March 15, 2017, 03:57:35 AM
This is because in America there are so many thieves in power. Putin himself is a thief and has surrounded himself with the same people as he did. Moreover it destroys any dissent. So Russian will be a very long time to live in squalor.

The Russians doesn't care whether Putin steals or not. His predecessor (Boris Yeltsin) was the worst thief ever known to the human race. Putin managed to end the looting of national assets by Yeltsin and his oligarch friends such as Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Boris Berezovsky.
Putin is a thief. He's just removed from the trough the old guard of Yeltsin, and they put their people. If you need an example please - Nikolay Tokarev,Gennady Timchenko,Alexei Miller,Vladimir Yakunin,Sergei Chemezov,Igor Sechin (who is the second person in Russia after President Vladimir Putin in terms of influence),Arkady Rotenberg,Yuriy Kovalchuk,Sergey Roldugin need more thieves?

Out of this list, some (Alexei Miller, Igor Sechin.etc) are not oligarchs. Their net worth is even below what requires to be classified as UHNW individuals. Others such as Gennady Timchenko and Arkady Rotenberg became rich during the Yeltsin era, and increased their wealth during the last 10-15 years.
21592  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 14, 2017, 12:14:02 PM
Saying that BTC defeated Gold. Is like saying a Honda Prius is faster than a Ferrari California because the Prius is red and the California grey, since red is a fast colour

We are at last a 100 years away from defeating gold. And to be honest, I don't believe that Bitcoin is going to survive for another 100 years. It is going to get replaced by some other form of crypto-currency. But if BTC defeats gold after 100 years, it is going to be a huge achievement, as gold has been used as a form of wealth for more than 5,000 years now.

I have read some reviews that the maximum lifespan of bitcoin is 160 years and after how many years of existence the remaining years would be around 150+ years. Bitcoin will overcome the price of gold per kilogram in 5 to 10 years time and a one hundred year prediction is too much. We are talking of the price of 1 bitcoin versus the price of 1 kilo of 24 karat gold and not of market capitalization. But even if we talk about market capitalization bitcoin will still climb up to overcome gold overall market capitalization.

Are you talking about Bitcoin mining? Bitcoin mining will end in the year 2140. But that is not related to the usage of Bitcoins. We can't predict the future. There is a strong chance that Bitcoins will become obsolete in the near future, as a result of some of its drawbacks (such as the 51% rule and block size restriction).
21593  Economy / Economics / Re: Alibaba’s Jack Ma: “Everyone Should Have a Bank Account.” on: March 14, 2017, 12:07:38 PM
Though Alibaba is rich but is not the best example for good thing about bitcoin. Having a bank Account and online wallet I don't think is the same. Bank has it own traditional role in our society today because human mind in general has not developed to the extent of putting financial role completely in The air. Bitcoin, blockchain and others crypto currencies are still in the infant stage so people are sceptical about it.

Right now, I wouldn't say that having a bitcoin wallet is equivalent to having a bank account. Even if you have Bitcoins in your wallet, there is no guarantee that they will not be hacked or stolen. But deposits in a bank accounts are mostly insured, and the bank will reimburse the amount if someone steals the money.
21594  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: March 14, 2017, 11:17:50 AM
Saudi are now making the barren desert into a rich fertile land with the use of irrigation and they wanted to be food independent rather than relying on imports alone. Aside from that they are also developing other business to make Saudi a more competitive country.

Is this some sort of a joke? The Saudis exhausted their water reserves in the late 1980s, after using all of it to farm wheat. Right now, they have hardly any water for irrigation. And water from desalination is extremely expensive (in Israel, the rate is around $0.50 per cubic meter, but in Saudi it costs two times that). For irrigation, you need water at less than $0.05 per cubic meter

I don't really know the economics behind such form of agriculture

So take my words with a grain of salt (pun intended). Basically, they have plenty of sun and that means they could produce cheap solar electricity and thus lower the costs of water desalination significantly (or build a few nuclear power plants with this purpose in mind). On the other hand, the whole idea of sustaining some form of agriculture in what otherwise is essentially a desert doesn't look very appealing overall. They could just pour their dollars (while they still have them) into something else

As far as I know, only around 35% to 40% of the costs associated with desalination comes from the usage of electricity. The remainder is taken up by the cost of the membranes and manpower. And solar panels are very expensive (and require constant maintenance) right now, which dilutes their advantage of having a vast open desert.

Russia's dream is to divide the whole of Europe into spheres of influence Germany and Russia. I admire Merkel. She did not go into such an agreement with Putin. Perhaps she remembers what ended the friendship of Hitler and Stalin. With regard to the Donbass and Crimea is this Ukraine. Russia has enough of their territories.

Merkel is not much concerned about the East Europeans. Her priorities are very clear. She want cheap gas from the Russians, slave labor from the Eastern European nations, and free sex from her gigolo boyfriend Erdogan. That is the reason why she approved the Nord Stream 2 pipeline after sabotaging the South Stream.
21598  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: March 14, 2017, 10:26:36 AM

I will not say that large scale outer space human habitation will not be theoretically possible in the distant future. But the expenses associated with it will prevent individuals and corporations from doing that.

There is only one factor that limits space exploration and that is the energy needed for propulsant.

Once an adequate energy source is found that allows practically unlimited use of energy then there is no major limiting factor. Asteroids are often loaded with iron. If you have unlimited energy you can land a mill on a large asteroid and build hundreds of millions of tons of spaceships.

Even if some magic substance is found and the issue with propulsion is resolved, there are other more pressing issues. The first one is the severity of cosmic radiation in the outer space. Prolonged exposure can result in the death of the astronaut. Also, the sourcing of food and water is another major issue.
21599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit bill approved! What does this mean to bitcoin if anything? on: March 14, 2017, 10:24:00 AM
This is going to cause a slight upswing in the exchange rates of the UKP and a major downswing in the value of the Euro. This situation can exacerbate, if Scotland secedes from the United Kingdom, and applies for the European Union membership.
