2161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance is key on: April 22, 2022, 01:08:27 AM
Bitcoin is the prime mover so obviously it's going to hard to topple it at the top although there is some attempts in 2017. It's called Rippening for XRP and Flippening, so called ETH because that time bitcoin is losing some ground and ETH coming up. Nevertheless it didn't have enough momentum so the rest is history. Although others might say that bitcoin dominance is not a good metrics, but still it remain to be on the 40%++ in the last 4 years or so.
2162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: April 21, 2022, 05:01:36 AM
This could be another fake out runs?

We should have experienced a pull back when the price hits $38k but then suddenly it went as high as $41k and could reach $42 this week.

But I'm not that confident in this kind of market move, there is a possibility that we might see another retrace, hence, $40k is broken again. So let's see how it pan out.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 21, 2022, 04:00:28 AM
What the happening to Brooklyn Nets. They seems good on the 1st then there defense and offense become weak on second half. Irving only got 10 points on the last 2 minutes of the game. I believe they already give up this game 2 to Boston and planning to even the series on there home court. It’s my first time to bet with them and it’s so frustrating to watch them on this kind of performance. Hahaha

I was just asking myself the same thing. I watched the first quarter and a little bit of the second quarter when I was at the gym and they were looking solid. I came home and tuned in again in the fourth where they just completely fell apart. Kyrie can’t just being putting up only 10 points on 4 of 13 shooting. That’s just so unlike him.  They better they can win the next one and get Simmons back to help game 4.

Game of adjustments, now it's the turn of the Nets to win a game in homecourt and make the series close. They can't allow the Celtics to just run over them and sweep this series. They still have Durant and Irving, but both of them will have to work very very hard as the Celtics is giving them a hard time in defense.

Just one game at a time though, win the next game at home, then come back again to even the series. They just need to win one to get back at this series and with a confidence.
Kyrie was taken out from the equation by the Celtics in the 3rd, he even barely get touches. And then they go up against Durant, putting up a good defense as well, blocking his shots, making him very uncomfortable.

And as we have been saying, this 2 needs to play very well for them to win. Sadly, in this game, they are just good in the first two quarters. The Celtics on the other hand, rally in the second half.

Indeed, the Celtics were able to make a complete rally and win the game. Glad for the Celtics that everyone was making their contribution, this time, they don't rely only on the production of Tatum and Brown, great game for them, hopefully Nets will bounce back on their home court and will even the series after game 4.

Sixers vs Toronto almost give me a heart attack, Lol.

But it was a very close and entertaining game. I hit the OT bet with less than 4 minutes to go (live betting). And that shot by Joel, just wow, truly an MVP this season.

Toronto has a lot of chance to win in this game as they took a good lead, but they can't sustain it, unfortunately.

2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin on: April 21, 2022, 02:09:45 AM
What do you think about Ape Coin in terms on long term investment?

Today it became #1 in metaverse market cap.

Yeah, but I have a feeling that this might be a good investment, as long as the hype is there with ApeCoin.

So mid to long term though is good, it's that you really need to follow everything that is going with this project. The whales are going to pump this for sure, and again, the rule of thumb is, if you have already profited you might want to get out early.

So you really need to be very careful of this so called hype for long term, just saying.
2166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: April 21, 2022, 01:26:59 AM
The market is moving gradually without any external influence, which means the real growth is happening. Bitcoin have broken the $40k barrier again and further it tends to break $43500 resistance zone. If that happens the market will tend to test the $45k long term resistance zone. Failing to broke the zone will take the price down to $40k, if not we'll see continued growth. The major reason for the ongoing market progress seems like to be the approval of first Bitcoin ETF by Australia Security Exchange and Commission.

Yeah, I think that news has somewhat put the market at ease right now that's why we have a good increased to $41k and above as of press time.

The market is still based on any external influence, any news that will make investors put their money on the it again. Hopefully we can maintain above $40k, it's been months already, and we are about to enter the next quarter so we better end it on a positive note for this month.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 20, 2022, 10:30:43 AM
Unfortunate news for Casimero fans, he's now out of the match and a huge chances that he also lost his belt for violating the rules of BBBOFC.

Read the article here: https://www.ringtv.com/638052-john-riel-casimero-vs-paul-butler-off-due-to-casimeros-violation-of-bbbofc-medical-policy/

Don't know if Casimero's camp doesn't know about this or they are desperate to lose more weights that's why they go to this option and what more dumber thing they do is they release a video about what they do.

Now they are preparing Sultan to fight against Butler and this is a huge shame on Casimero.

And with this news, I think it's over now for Casimero, he will be strip of the belt for sure for another violation.

I remember that we have discussed before his weight issues and that he hired someone to help him manage his weight in this fight. But it seems it was also a failure as he needed to go to sauna to lost that excess body fat. I guess that only options for him is to go to the next weight class as obviously, he can't make the weight no more.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 20, 2022, 03:22:27 AM
I've got a parlay of players props and as well as singles today, I didn't want to go with the spread for the games tonight, but I've got a parlay on Memphis ML + Heat ML + Suns ML @ 2.15.

My props for tonight are;

1. De' Andre Hunter Over 13.5 points @ 1.86
2. Valanciunas Over 12.5 Rebounds @ 1.74
3. Trae Young Over 3.5 Rebounds @ 1.76

I would even go with over 13.5 on Jonas.

Minnesota to win is my bet for today. I think that they will sweep the Grizzlies. KAT and Edwards looked unstoppable in game 1 and I am not sure that Tyler Jenkins knows the answer of shutting them down.
Good luck to everybody.

Nah, the Grizzlies won today with a huge statement win, Ja Morant almost got a triple double in the game. Yes, it was a very close first half, but they put a separation in the 3rd and if my memory serves me right, the Wolves didn't manage to cut the lead to single digits. It was all Memphis tonight, as they shutdown Edwards and Russell in this game. So it's 1-1.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 20, 2022, 02:28:03 AM
Jimmy Buttler doing everything he can for the Heat but the Hawks are catching fire in the fourth. It's now a single possession ball game and a lot of things could still happen with under 3 minutes remaining. It eould be a shame if the Heat lose this one after a commanding third quarter.

Bogdanovic is the game changer here.

....

Game's over. Huge response from Butler aftet their lead was cut down to only three.

Yeah, it was Butler in the last 3-4 minutes of the game, 40+ points in game 2, that's huge. Too much experience I would say, Butler and the rest of the Heat knows how to protect that lead and then their defense against Trae Young in that crucial minutes. Bogdanovic though continue to score in the 1:30 mark but it was too late already. And then the Heat putting the ball to their best FT shooter to seal the win for them.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 19, 2022, 02:34:18 AM
But as far as I can see around, betting odds are heavily favoring Casimero with -2400, -1500, etc. Butler has +1220 or +800. I am in favor of Casimero here but if I have to bet, I would rather bet on Casimero win by KO.

He was the favorite ever since this fight was rumored, Butler was just hyped a bit because he will be fighting in his country, but if we look at their record and performance in their previous fights, it's easy to tell on who will dominate.

Casimero has the more powerful punches. He is also the one defending a belt. He is more aggressive. The odds are speaking of all these. Butler could put up a nice fight of course but it would be very dangerous for him to trade powerful blows with Casimero. He is not really a knockout fighter. He should instead try to run around and gain points to win this match. But he might turn a little more aggressive because he has the home court advantage. It will somehow give his performance a boost.

On the contrary, having the home court advantage, for sure he wanted to put a good show with his fans. So he won't run around and instead will try to go toe to toe with Casimero and hoping that he can score points and not getting knock out. And even if he lost this fight, at least he give his fans their money worth for buying his tickets. He is the underdog in this fight, he should fight aggressive, in my opinion.
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 19, 2022, 01:41:32 AM
That Nets game was a fun one to watch, that is gonna be a great series.  The other series I think is going to be fun to watch unfold is the timberwolves and Memphis series.  Memphis will be in a world of hurt if they lose the next one.  I expect some Ja highlights.

Best playoff game so far with Tatum's game winner.
I honestly underestimated the Celtics, I thought the Nets could still game 1 at road. Even with Kyrie's efficiency and Durant's scoring still not enough to beat the young Celtics.
Now, my hope for the Celtics to reach the finals has been restored. I hope they all keep healthy throughout the playoff run, coz they're 1 injury away to miss the chance to be in the finals again.

I mean the Nets are good and all but they are the 7 seed.  If Boston advances they will likely meet up against the Bucks.  Then they will have to go through likely the heat or the 4/5 spot.  Tough road in the East but yeah the cets are legit (hate saying that as a knick fan but they are).

Well it seems that the Celtics has found their rhythm after the all star break. Tatum, Brown and Smart really put together a good offense and defense effort to put them as one of the contenders in a tough Eastern conference.

And it proved that they can handle the pressure of bigtime game as last night. Irving giving us a show, but you can see that their coach didn't give a timeout and they just decide what to do next and Tatum found an opening to seal the victory for them. But it will be a tough series against Durant and Irving.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 17, 2022, 09:40:18 AM
The result of the game today is surprising because the teams that are usually dominant in the first round came out losing, especially the Memphis Grizzlies which is a bad match-up for them against the Wolves. I wonder how will they recover from this loss since they are teams of youngsters who are doesn't have enough experience to cool off the pressure of the NBA playoffs unless they are dominant in their games but now they already lose one which kinda depressing for them.

This is just one game though, for sure Ja Morant will bounce back from this shocking lost. The Wolves play if perfectly in this game, another great game coming from Edwards and he seems he continue from his play-in.

Hopefully, the Grizzlies can bounce back and even up the series as this will be one of the most interesting in round 1.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Amazingly Moronic Bitsneaks on: April 17, 2022, 09:11:43 AM
I bought a lot of crazy sneakers throughout the years, even sell them for higher prices and I will say it's a good investments specially like 5 years ago. People are willing to buy good amount of money for a limited sneakers specially with what they call "collab" with famous and upcoming designers.

So at the back of my mind, there could be sneaker collectors who are into bitcoin that might be willing to spend this kind of money and have this as their collections, just saying.
2174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 16, 2022, 10:25:30 AM
That odds cannot be true. I can't believe it's too high, maybe I won't expect an exciting fight anymore, the odds should already tell that this is going to be a one-sided fight. I thought the fight prior to this was a better one, although Davis won the fight but it wasn't an easy one for him.

The only advantage of Romeo here is his height, if he can use it well, then maybe he will make an upset.

You can never take out an upset in any boxing match, Romero has a chance to win the title he has a good record but this fight has become very personal to Davis, we have seen Davis very cool and professional in his many fights, he takes it as another fight another journey to greatness but this time he is heated because of his arrogance.
This fight will be interesting because fights that are personal like the Hagler - Hearns fight have the making of a great fight.

Yes, we can't discount the fact that upsets can happen in any boxing match.

And I do agree that it seems that this fight is very personal to him, I don't know what Rolly says that he really gets into the skin of Davis. I remember Ryan Garcia in the Mike Tyson show and then they called up Davis for an interview, Ryan calls Davis many names but he didn't get mad but instead just smile at Ryan back then. But know, it's a different Davis that we are seeing against Romero, maybe inside the Mayweather gym something happens between the two before.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invested in these coins on: April 16, 2022, 09:11:26 AM
I agree with most of the posters, Shiba is a game of manipulations so it is not considered a solid coin.

BNB is the top tier amongst those, it's a best investment like Ethereum specially for long term.

XRP will be huge if they win the case against the SEC, but it seems the odds are someone on their side now.

Might be better to include BTC as well, just saying. It's obvious that it is the top crypto so it's better to have that in your portfolio, and majority of it should be in BTC, in my opinion.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 16, 2022, 08:46:15 AM
Two amazing games.  Shocked A lot of players stepped up their game to gain the win.
Pelicans first, Larry Nance Jr. dominating the paint in offensive rebounds. With the Clippers playing small ball there's no one to stop him. 14 and 16 for Nance. Then the rookie, 17th pick, Trey Murphy III,  made crucial 3-pointers. 4/6.

In the East, the Hawks may have won it with Trae Young's 32 points in the 2nd half but now they have a big problem with Capela injured. Hunter will be their rim defender as they play against the Miami Heat on Monday.

It will be hard to fill the gap that Capela will left at the Hawks center position because of his injury. A very difficult task at hand for the short handed Hawks against a complete line up of the Heat. We have Bam that they have to contain in the middle and then of course the ever reliable Butler as their leader. As much as I love the Hawks, but I'm not seeing them advancing in the next playoff round here.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2022, 07:46:07 AM
I went with the Hawks -2.5 as well, even though the Hawks have been struggling on the road this season I still think they'll somehow come out on top since these guys are more experienced when it comes to the playoffs. On the other hand, it'll probably go down the wire given how the Cavs manage to keep it somewhat close against the Nets even though they were trailing by 20 at some point in the game. The over seems juicy given their head-to-head results but the unders are the trend so far in all four play in matches. Also leaning on the Clippers but i'll skip that one for now since PG is out and tbh they're still in a good position to win at home though.

Congratulations if you place the bet for -2.5 Hawks. What a nice close game for both Cavs and Hawks. Trae Young is unstoppable on there match with a 38 points. Cavs slowly decrease there aggressiveness at the start of 2nd half until the end of the game, It seems they already control the game on the first half but Hawks bounce back and recover the gap and seal the game with there strong momentum. Clippers is in good condition too, They can give a close fight to Pelicans even without PG. Shame to PG that he is not protecting his health especially on this crucial match.

Same here, I had the Hawks for -2.5 and it's a big win again for us.

As I have said before, Trae will not flop in this game and not even Garland can guard him. So congrats to those who ride on that bet.

No shame for Clippers fans, I mean the Pels lead at the end of the first half and then they came back strong but they just fell short because PG is not there. It might be a different outcome if PG is in, unfortunately, things happen.
2178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 15, 2022, 10:08:23 AM
At the end of the day, it all comes down to a person's personal preference. Some people just don't understand casino games or isn't really interested at all while others prefer casino games. For me, I am more of a sports bettor person. Although not completely closed in the idea of casino gambling, it isn't my priority. Maybe because I like sports myself and get thrilled with the fights and competitions specially when both sides are great at what they do (football, basketball and fighting sports). Now, like most of the people say, which is to not think about the profits that much and just enjoy the thrill, I cannot disagree. But still, it is a better feeling to be thrilled and be able to rake in huge profits as well.

Seems to me that majority here might be a sports bettor like me. I mean the chances to win are high as compare to a game of luck like slot machine

Although I have nothing against individuals who prefer luck based game, it's simply and enjoyable and if you really get lucky, easy and big win for you.

But then again, sports bettors love to see their favorite sports and players competing and having to see your bet, either win or lose.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy shareholders letters that more bitcoin would still be bought on: April 15, 2022, 09:36:11 AM

I am always hearing many good things on Microstrategy and its big, splashy strategy of acquiring more Bitcoin especially if there is a big dip in the crypto market. From now on, when you hear the saying "buy in dip" one name that comes to mind is Microstrategy of Michael Saylor. Now, when Bitcoin will soon rise beyond its last ATH, am sure that Michael will be celebrating with its windfall of profits...and if there can come a time when Bitcoin can go beyond $100K all shareholders of this firm will surely be smiling from ear to ear.

It's obvious that is the goal from the very beginning, buy bitcoin during dip and wait and hold for a long time. This kind of institutional investors knows how to play the market, even at the last ATH, maybe they didn't sell because the profit is not that good for them. And if by chance $100k can be hit in the future then it's a win-win for the company and for Saylor as he is one of the proponents of bullishness when we talk about BTC.
2180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Average 70% to 85% drops in 'bear markets' before big pushes to ATH... on: April 15, 2022, 08:52:20 AM
Historically it’s correct, we get huge downturns from cycle ATH’s. I don’t think the trend will repeat this time though & I’ll tell you why. Bitcoin as an asset is maturing, we are no longer a bunch of nerds online buying bitcoin. Institutional money is here, bitcoin as an asset is maturing. 2017 cycle high was $19,xxx, we only reached $69,xxx in the 2021 high so the massive blow off tops might be gone. If that’s the case then huge dumps might be gone too. I expect $25,000 to be the bottom in maybe early 2023.

Yeah, that's what I observed as well, the market has been maturing, maybe those who are new during the bull run of 2017 has aged a lot and grown up in the last 2 years that they know what to do.

If $25k can be hit then it's another perfect time to accumulate again.

And we have a cycle then we can call it that way, accumulate during bear market and then wait for the bull run to happen to make money.
