2161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Plunged $700 Upon Reaching $9,060, Correction or Reason To Panic? on: January 19, 2020, 09:46:57 PM
As expected, the price will correct for a while and if the up trend is really strong then we will go back to a $9k level again and go beyond that. There’s no panic at all, people just want to take profit as early as possible since they also believe for a correction. This should be a temporary correction, we still need to go up high.
I also think there is no reason to panic, everything continues as expected. We already knew BTC had a resistance around $9k and king would try it. It tried once, and will come back to try again. And IMO we will pass it without losing much time in the next attempts. Because I believe that this year's increase will be more. We do not have much time to lose here.
Since the price didn’t go back below $8k or didn’t stay on the level of $7k, i also think that this is just a healthy correction. The resistance can’t be broke in just one attempt so people should be more patience and not to panic for a normal correction. The next attempt will be big, and it would be great to break all the resistance this year, the bull will come to us.
2162  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Lunes, pinakamagandang araw para bumili ng bitcoin? on: January 19, 2020, 08:49:51 PM
Lunes kase nagkaroon ng time yung mga trader para mag speculate sa mga prices and traders already have their plan during the weekend and excited sila for the Monday. In cryptocurrency pwede ito mangyari kahit anong araw pero since the data says Monday is the best for bitcoin, siguro mas prefer talaga ng mga investor ang unang araw sa isang linggo
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you record and preserve Bitcoin history? on: January 19, 2020, 02:45:40 PM
I was not able to save the ATH before but this time I will make sure that i have the copy of the up coming bull run and i will show that to the haters of bitcoin. It’s goo that you have the best bitcoin history and looks like you’re here for almost a decade as well with bitcoin? Researcher will surely make a study on how bitcoin change the world financial system and I’m so excited for this.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin & Its Momentum on: January 19, 2020, 01:30:38 PM
As it stands, Bitcoin along with many other Digital Currencies have been on a Rampage recently. Some achieving all new highs while BTC is sitting on top of 9k+ usd. Only question that comes to mind now is what next? Will it have enough momentum to break thru to the 10k usd mark or will we see a major price correction? As usual any thoughts and comments are more than welcome.
Price correction will happen but I hope its not that big because the momentum going up is already here, let’s keep the price going up and no turning back again. Its good that altcoins pumps along with bitcoin and maybe this is the new trend this year, every cryptocurrency will rise together as one really good for the investors.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 10:55:32 PM
I you are looking for a good fight then Conor needs to fight someone who is coming up in the sport of boxing and not someone who is established and at the top of the game. I am sure Manny will school him and if Conor wants his stock to rise in boxing he needs a win and not starting a career with two losses.
There is a difference in approach between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Manny is aggressive in his approach and Conor McGregor is a really good counter puncher and the problem he had with Mayweather is that he was not able to find the trigger as he was looking for that counter punch and he never got that and then he gassed out. So it will be an interesting fight if it happens as i still believe style makes fight.

Mcgregor is not a boxer but I’m sure he learned a lot from his fight before to Mayweather and hopefully this will be a good fight if ever because Manny is a real one and he won’t end the game without a fight. Though I’m still thinking about a fight for money just like before since Manny is a great boxer well this fight should be more serious for Manny considering his Age.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is why you shouldn't trust a Centralized Exchange! on: January 18, 2020, 09:35:04 PM
Not just on a centralized exchange, you have to save your money and never to stay big money on any exchanges whether its decentralized or not because its not safe at all. If you can’t withdraw your money at all then that exchange is indeed a scam. You have to be more protected and know the safest thing to store your cryptocurrency, if you don’t have the private keys them its not safe to trust any wallet that you don’t have control, scammers and hackers are staying on every exchanges waiting for their time to scam us.
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we now confirm that he's Faketoshi.? on: January 18, 2020, 08:59:46 PM
He doesnt have the keys but still telling the court that he will receive it in the future date. What kind of an argument is this.? First it was just the announcement, then it was "I will get the courier" and now this.

What else is needed in the court to prove that he is not..?

https://decrypt.co/16998/confirmed-craig-wright-doesnt-have-keys-to-8-billion-of-bitcoin
He’s putting himself on a bigger risk and if the court denied his claim as Satoshi then a lot of people will get mad to him then if he’s the real one, he needs to be on a safe place for sure. I will just wait for the decision of the court, this is a serious case for me and not just a simple claim by CW, I’m still hoping that he is not because he’s not a good guy at all.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 17, 2020, 10:30:10 PM
As long as bitcoin wont reach 30k before halving ,$100k is only a dream. These predictions is somehow the reason why bitcoin cant touck $15k. So many predictions that is why crypto people dont know what to do,they dont know who to believe in.
Almost all the prediction is for the better price so I don’t think people are confuse about it. I do agree on a part that we should be on a higher price before the halving so we can see more after that. Less in supply and increase on demand should have a bigger impact on bitcoin. I’m still on the sideways and I’m ready for anything with bitcoin, still the worst case scenario can still happen.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 17, 2020, 09:31:19 PM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

are you one of the people who dream like this?
I do bet on Lotto before and yeah I’m dreaming to win big money so I can live a happy life but it didn’t happen after spending a lot of money and I realized that there’s a better way to be happy and not just about money. Gambling can’t guarantee an easy profit and can’t make you rich instantly you still have to spend money and wait for your luckiest moment. Start working wisely, do a business and you will become rich in time and stop expecting an easy way to earn big in gambling.
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 17, 2020, 02:29:37 PM
How about writing your seed on paper, scanning the paper, encrypting the scanned image and finally uploading in your email account.
Always distribute your coins into multiple wallets, never store all your wealth in one wallet. That’s my suggestion on subject.

Its better to create your private email and save the seeds there, it will be safe as long as the computer that you will be use is safe. Natural disaster is not an easy thing, you must have the funds to support you if ever so I also believe cryptocurrency is the safe place. My suggestion is that, memorize your seeds but make sure to put it on something that is really safe, if its not that big then open an account on the best exchange that we have.
2171  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: I thought Hero Rank is impossible to reach[Half way there] on: January 17, 2020, 01:50:11 PM
Mahirap naman talaga ang mag rank dito, pero kung pag hihirapan talaga ay madali itong maabot. Keep it up mate, walang impossible sa taong porsigido. Same tayo pero ako soon to be Sr. Member and I also hope na maachieve ko ito this year. No need to rush naman as long as you’re doing good you will stay on a better side. For those na nahihirapan magparank, maging positibo lang at maging madiskarte sa mga ipopost mo, quality vs quantity is the best! Congrats again!  Smiley
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 16, 2020, 11:12:29 PM

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?
That’s possible when bitcoin make a new ATH and we still dependent to the crypto market situation. ETH is still a good one despite of the developer leaving it behind, I think ETH will make a good run this year. Its pumping and it can be a good site for us, ETH is still a top altcoins an new ATH is possible compare to other shitcoins.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 16, 2020, 10:06:02 PM
Frankly speaking, no one would ever help you here because you suffered a big loss. We don't give damn helping you here because you just lost a big amount of gambling, in the first place its your responsibility to accept the consequences of your action, second thing simply that we just don't care about you and your gambling we're not a saint to give someone a refill for their loss.

How do you deal with loss? We have different gambling experiences and the person itself who would discover how he/she would deal with this kind of loss. If he/she can't deal with his/her loss it's time to seek a professional.

If you don't have friends that can recognize when you're in a bad situation, and care about you enough to intervene when things get bad, then you've gone severely wrong in life.

Not everybody is able to control themselves. Sometimes external intervention is needed.

Sure, that's what the role of the therapist is, but not everybody has the willpower to even go and see a therapist, nor the money to do so (see thread for reasons).

I think we should all have that strong support system in place, so we have a safety net to catch us when we fall.
Some of our friends are willing to help but not to the extent that he will suffer as well just because we made a mistake in life and in gambling. If you lose money in gambling and you’re surrounded with unfamiliar faces then you should not expect someone to help you especially if its all about money. Proper budgeting and making plan before you play can save you from being broke like this, its not too late to change your style of playing.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Drama on: January 16, 2020, 09:23:30 PM
Its ends already and yeah a sudden pumped begin like we started another movie but an over hyped one. I don’t see any progress about this coin and for me its a pure manipulation so don’t get involve on this one as much as possible. The year 2020 will be full of challenges and unexpected turn of events, we really have to be wiser this time.
2175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people debate so much about BTC value? on: January 16, 2020, 02:12:02 PM
This is a question of every panic investors because they don’t know the current situation of the market that’s why they keep doing that. The biggest challenge for bitcoin is that, people are expecting this technology to replace fiat money when it reality it wont happen. Bitcoin should not be controlled by any government, the purpose is to get away and not for the government to control us again. The debate will never end, most of them is just a nonsense debate.

2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 15, 2020, 10:54:43 PM
You are right with what you said about the purpose of bitcoin especially  as a way to cut of intermediary but then people  have benefited a lot from it during trades, yet it's purpose as a payment  asset can't be over ruled for people who trade online, but can't just replace  fiat as more offline  people  would still go for fiat.

The purpose of bitcoin is great and its working good now but I doubt about replacing fiat money because the government wont let that to happen especially the Dollar. Bitcoin invented to get away from the banks, and since blockchain technology is really good, a lot of services are being made under this technology and hoping to see more in the future.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 15, 2020, 09:17:40 PM
If you can’t do it on your own then ask for guidance because its not easy to stop your gambling addiction if you already attached on it. I find myself on a broken side while gambling before and I tell it to my partner right away and luckily she guide me well and I was able to overcome it, I’m still playing occasionally but not an addict anymore we just need to be honest to ourself and think for a better solution.
2179  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: January 15, 2020, 12:01:01 PM
No matter how much you earn, if you don’t know how to invest and save then your income is useless. This is the best lesson I‘ve learned from my work. I’m working now and earn $10 a day and yet I still able to buy bitcoin because I want to and not because my government told me to do so. If you want to become a millionaire then never depend on your government and start working wise, also remember that not all people works from the government.
2180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: January 14, 2020, 11:13:53 PM
I only use bitcoin when necessary but if its just a normal transactions then i will use fiat money but will still depend on the situation. Many are still afraid to use this because of volatility and the price fluctuations. Bitcoin is still not accepted in all physical store in my place so I have no choice but to transact online, hoping for merchants to initiate and accept bitcoin in my country.
