2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Iconomi got dumped, who lost money? on: February 17, 2017, 01:48:27 AM
I was considering this coin just like a lot of other potential investors and it was a total flop, the coin has dumped all the way down to high 200's, right now is at high 300's.
What the hell man? Im glad I dodged that bullet, I would have lost half of my bitcoin.
I hope it recovers but I always had my doubts about this thing.

You seems have no ideas of trading. If you would plan to buy you should have buy offers set at high 200. and you would get cheap ICONONOMI.
You could sell them now and have 15 BTC instead of 10 you had.

You did not dodged anything. You did totally nothing. Nada!   All you did was another flashy title in thread, where you will bla bla more.

Yeah, except that was exactly what Iconomi shills were saying in the ICO thread.

"Bro, I cant believe we are still at 4XX, we are going to be at 1k in no time when they release the platform". A ton of people bought at 4XX and now they got fucked, the ones that panic sold at least.

And like I said before, I saw this coming because bitcoin is too strong and everyone dumps their alts for BTC.

People never learn though, alts get pumped and dumped in cycles. A coin that is alive and being developed will get lots of pumps and dumps, people that sold in the low 30s after buying in the high 40s will re-buy once this spikes again. Noobs love buying high and selling low lol...

Many dev's have let their coin die or announced it's dead then mysteriously came back later relaunching it.. or "community take over"
The Memory Coin / MEM dev FreeTrade did that before he went on to Protoshares and Bitshares etc
Think about it..
Kill the coin dead so it's almost delisted at 1 sat.. buy them up quietly then re-launch and re-hype.
Rinse & repeat forever because noobs are dumb.
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 17, 2017, 01:35:36 AM
@toknormal
MIND = BLOWN  Cheesy

@generalizethis (Mr. Fungibility)
I think that was weak and vague.
Less insults and more FACTS would be good Wink

I don't like Spoetnik should not be your Monero selling point when you are presented with the opportunity.

I doubt i have much more to add here.. at this point i am repeating myself.
I also am getting a non stop stream of evasive replies.

You Cult shill's had your big chance to sell Morono to the crowd here and you failed.
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Should the Altcoin world work with govt authorities or fight them ? on: February 16, 2017, 05:30:45 PM
I will read more of the feedback later but i seen the first two comments.

@BitcoinHodler
Agreed, that is pretty much what i have been trying to say for ages.
I would love to have a 100% lawless currency but i don't see it getting traction and getting adopted / used world wide.
We need to be realistic here guys.

So far i see 4 votes for law and 5 for Fight.
More than anything i wanted to bring up this issue because it's only going to be a growing matter we need to start thinking about.. the sooner the better.
For the sake of all your investments etc you all need to think long and hard what this is and where it's going.

I could post a huge list of incidents were law is encroaching on our crypto scene already guys.
Ripple was fined by FiNCEN and tax guidelines were issued years ago for example.
So this is not some fantastic crazy conspiracy we are talking about here.

In other words i am more concerned with the poll result and what you all think and to get you talking than anything.
Feel free to comment and vote guys.. i am really curious to see the overall stats on the POLL.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 16, 2017, 05:23:53 PM
The law that says Murder in the USA is old so it's not relevant anymore ?
You understand how legal law works right ?

I posted it because the guy earlier was denying it and he STILL is right after i last posted.

Reporting old news ? The laws do not "expire"  Roll Eyes

The only law I follow is the law of physics. It never changes and it applies to everyone!

That is cute..

I seen in the news yesterday that our Police force was mounting a massive army at the US border..
Armored vehicles machines guns and all that.
Know what happened ?
Turns out a native indian was caught with 2 guns wired to the underside of his vehicle while crossing the border.
Know what he said ? He claimed he did not recognize our law.
And.. he was arrested promptly on his Indian reserve.

There is no getting through to you cocky big mouth little bitches here.
And i highly doubt even 1% of you have the fucking balls to back up your mouth to cops face to face.
I sure as hell do LOL
Last time i got stopped by a cop in town riding my mountain bike i threw it at him hahahha
I picked up over my head and threw it beside him then chewed him out swearing.
I don't take any fucking god damn shit from anyone ever under any circumstance.
I don't give a flyin' fuck who you are.
Point being is you little shits here will buckle like a wall made of oatmeal in a heart beat when the pigs boot your door in.

@FEBO
That was incredibly vague and weak.

And you Monero defenders are bobbing & weaving hard.
I have pretty much re-asked the same question over and over and STILL no one has the slightest answer.

What do you constitute this so called "Rise" ?
And Rise again ? From where to where ?

What has Monero accomplished and where is it going longer term ?

As an investard you SHOULD be asking that or you are a fucking retard /.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash still a thing? on: February 16, 2017, 05:11:55 PM
Seems like it at $19.58 a coin when i looked at CoinMarketCap just now..
2166  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do you support Piracy ? on: February 16, 2017, 05:09:56 PM
I never pirated games on my TRS-80 but could have easily.. copying from tape to tape was common back then.
(it's why they sold double cassette deck for AMP's and ghetto blasters)
I also don't have it anymore Sad

Chances are the sheer amount of gold in them would be worth more than anything.
Super old PC's are notorious for having huge amounts of gold in them.. Google it Wink

Back then though around the same tape i frequented my uncles house where he had a PC in the basement no idea which one but he had a massive collection of copied jumbo floppy games.
So when i went to his house i went straight to the basement and never left until it was time to go home.
Most of his games were pirated you could tell.

Back then we all used the first gen consoles etc too.
My best friend's Grandma's house had the Pong Console we played sometimes.. black & white of course.
He had some old console that took little cards like the TurboGrafx16 did many years later too.
I got the TG16 on launch for over $300
Had the first Nintendo and first Sega machines back in the day too.
If you are THAT old you all probably did.. there was not much else to use LOL

And i pirated console games too.. know how ?
Sometimes i would go to the video store and rent a Sega MasterSystem game then i would swap the inside of the game for one i had i didn't like then return it.
There is ALWAYS a way to Piracy Smiley
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [POLL] Should the Altcoin world work with govt authorities or fight them ? on: February 16, 2017, 09:08:01 AM
I see this matter as an ever growing serious issue with laws and regulations increasing / looming.
We are going to have to confront this issue at some point..

Either you are willing to compromise and work with authorities or you are going to have to get ready for a battle !

What side will you be on people ?

Oh and i vote "Work Together" because i think it's what we need to do to get a currency used / adopted.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about proper due diligence for ICO's This industry deserves better! on: February 16, 2017, 09:01:25 AM
uggh  Roll Eyes

Mass coin cloners here vetting projects all with swirling identities.. yeah that's "legit"  Cheesy
2169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 16, 2017, 08:57:06 AM
@Dino
That is fine and for the most part i agree with you. (some of it LOL)
The real question here is "The rise of Monero"

Either it can beat the law or.. it's fucked.

Place your bets  Cheesy

I said long ago here it going to end up pigeon holed as a DM niche thing.
So where is it rising to ?
2170  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do you support Piracy ? on: February 16, 2017, 08:38:10 AM
I'm a pirate since 1983 and 300 baud modems. I will always be a pirate even if they change laws.

2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Segwit miner support has reached 18% after a day on: February 16, 2017, 08:30:17 AM
Why would there need to be a pay off to kill off LTC ?
That implies it is a threat does it not ?

Not sure about Segwit though like most people i bet.
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 16, 2017, 08:00:28 AM
FIAT works (with AML laws) now doesn't it ?

I don't think this is a debate about Crypto vs Laws.

I am talking about the Rise and Rise of Monero.
That topic title has what meaning ?
Where is it rising to ? What is the long term vision here ?
THAT is where i am pointing out law as an issue.. for the future.

I just seen this..

http://www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-188949-5-.htm#188949

Quote
China is adding carfentanil and three related synthetic opioids to its list of controlled substances effective March 1, China's National Narcotics Control Commission said Thursday.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration called the move a potential "game-changer" that is likely to reduce supply of key chemicals driving a surge of overdoses and deaths among unsuspecting drug users in North America. After China controlled 116 synthetic drugs in October 2015, seizures in the United States of compounds on that list plunged.

"It's a substantial step in the fight against opioids here in the United States," said Russell Baer, a DEA special agent in Washington. "We're persuaded it will have a definite impact."

Some 5,000 times stronger than heroin, carfentanil is so potent it has been used as a weapon and is considered a potential terrorism threat. Dealers cut fentanyls into heroin and other drugs to boost profit margins.

Beijing already regulates fentanyl and 18 related compounds. China said it is also placing carfentanil's less-potent cousins furanyl fentanyl, acryl fentanyl and valeryl fentanyl under control. All are prevalent in the U.S. drug supply, Baer said.

In October, The Associated Press identified 12 Chinese companies that offered to export carfentanil around the world for a few thousand dollars a kilogram (2.2. pounds), no questions asked. That same month China began evaluating whether to add carfentanil and the three other fentanyls to its list of controlled substances. Usually, the process can take nine months. This time, it took just four.

Both the DEA and U.S. State Department have pressed China to make carfentanil a controlled substance. Though Beijing has said U.S. assertions that China is the top source of fentanyls lack evidence, the two countries have been deepening co-operation as the U.S. opioid epidemic intensifies.

U.S. opioid demand is driving the proliferation of a new class of deadly synthetic drugs, made by nimble chemists to stay one step ahead of new rules like this one. As soon as one substance is banned, others proliferate. After Beijing tightened its focus on fentanyls late last year, the AP documented how Chinese vendors began to actively market alternative opioids, like U-47700.

"We don't think their scheduling actions will end with just these four," Baer said

Then check out this..

https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Fentanyl+dealer+arrested+selling+alphabay

I am not even going to link the sites posting the news story here !
I refuse to click on any of those DM web sites.

Ohhh but not you guys !
You actually had the god damn nerve to proudly brag about Monero's new exciting news !
CONGRATULATIONS MONERO IS NOW ACCEPTED ON ALPHA BAY !!!!1111ONE

Hooray !! we can all applaud right ?

That quote earlier noted that the DA considers Carfentanyl a terrorist threat.. caught being mailed via Dark markets in regular mail.

You all realize these packages are floating around the US mail system and if one of them broke open you could die from just a couple grains of Carfentanyl right ?

Are you all thinking about what you are doing here or simply pushing your agenda for ROI'z ?
i don't see fluffypony over here talking about this do i ?
Nope he was more worried about his cash cow illegal gambling site that was hacked.
And using my exact words as an excuse saying "EVERYTHING can and will eventually be hacked"
..except Monero of course which is "Secure, Private and Untraceable"

Sorry guys but you are not in any position to chant free market anymore.
Get your shit together, grow up and and FAST !

Lucky for you the big "rise" of Monero has been nothing at all so it has not attracted much attention yet.
(aside from the FBI guy saying they will look at it publicly)

Like to "Invest" do you guys ?
Well look around the dev's and shills and large whales behind Monero are oddly silent now aren't they ?
Probably because they know i am right and a shit-storm is coming.. eventually.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about proper due diligence for ICO's This industry deserves better! on: February 16, 2017, 06:32:30 AM

2174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: February 16, 2017, 06:22:12 AM
If he fled to China i am guessing he has some other Bitcoin tucked way he is using.
Then that must run out eventually.
He probably knows the amounts Gamow pointed out are being watched.. hence the lack of spending.

So i think he will have no choice but to try and dip into the 11.5 million sooner or later.
I don't think he wants to spend the rest of his life eating Raman noodles in a Chinese alley.
Especially not when he has expensive taste throwing Cryptsy money around.

Makes me wonder was he removing trade fee's while at the same time buying expensive shit like that and a million dollar house while cutting revenue streams on Cryptsy ?
Like i get maybe he was turning a profit but how much ?
Enough to just blow through cash like he did ?
Of course Miss Nettles was none the wiser and assumed Cryptsy was all on the up & up of course.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about proper due diligence for ICO's This industry deserves better! on: February 16, 2017, 05:50:29 AM
It is NOT possible to use due diligence in a corrupt lawless scene.
This is a sad stupid little cliche in crypto..

The big players simply change the game at their will to ensure they always win
..and always get your money.

Case in point.. Ripple the scam coin that started all the ICO bullshit.
Ripple guys not that long ago simply printed more money.. for the hell of it (Because they felt like it)
No one ever did get an explanation as to WHY they unloaded 333 million more coins secretly.

This idea is complete bullshit.
History has shown us the dev's will employ an army of tactics to ensure they are the big winner.
So you are all playing a seriously rigged scammy little game.

What are you going to do chant Identification / user verified ?
Tell ya what..
You all give me a million dollars for an ICO and i guarantee i will say fuck you and walk off with it.
Why wouldn't i ?
It's easy free money and i can get away with it since there is no corresponding IPO financial laws like in Traditional Stock markets like the New York Stock Exchange.

If you invest in ICO's ..then you are an idiot.
It's the equivalent to saying some Pyramid schemes are legit you jsut need to pick the right one.
Wrong !
They are all scammy BY DESIGN !

I find it funny sleazy greedy idiots have tried to legitimize Bitcointalk shenanigans by implying it's legit to morph this forum into Kickstarter for failed currency schemes.

It's no different then going to Kickstarter and seeing 6,000 ANN topic listings all saying we are going to make a replacement for FIAT.

..so buy NOW !

ohhhh but wait !

Check this out Wink

2177  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do you support Piracy ? on: February 16, 2017, 04:54:06 AM
I don't like for profit piracy.
Such as pirated knock off DVD's sold on a street corner with faked Sony brand labels etc.

Advertisement revenue on P2P sites in another touchy issue.
I'd say i mostly think they should be allowed to make money that way.

I think we are often making derivatives and sharing them freely.. which SHOULD be fine.
But i have always conceded that there may be some bad exceptions..
Such as a downloaded Windows MSDN OS disk image being shared that has the hash verified.
In that case it was something taken from their servers and passed around freely.
I think the P2P users should then mod the disk image a little so they can say it's not EXACT.

But it gets way worse..

Github has had Popcorn time distrib's taken down for copyright infringement.
When all it was is a tool used for *mostly* piracy.

I think the implementation of copyright laws has gotten perverse and distorted to be used as a tool ensure profits from anything they want us to buy.

The vast majority of PC games i played cracked i also bought.
yet i would still be accused of being a thief.

Anyway i think it's about our right to share and our right to make and share derivatives.
Making a derivative does not equal some other item being unavailable for sale afterwards.

If i make a charcoal rubbing of a Tomb Stone have i just stolen the thing ?
If i snap a picture of a picture in an art gallery did i just steal the painting ?
That equals lost revenue ?
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 16, 2017, 04:23:12 AM
Who is going to stop you ? Take your pick..
When Gavin Anderson was requested to come and meet with the FBI ...he went !

Jesse Ventura said the same after being elected.
They brought him into a dark room full of FBI agents and grilled his ass hard.

Next up we seen the FBI agent mentioning looking into Monero recently.
Soo....
You really have 0 reason to think you are all in the clear with this anti-law fiat killer system you have invented.. for DM usage and ROI's on govt compliant Poloniex.

When ? i don't care.. that is not the point.
HOW is.

Explain to me how Monero is on the RISE and RISE..
From where to where ?

And don't feed me this one day crap skipping the part in the middle again.
All i have heard is oh 3% of DM market adoption and then ohhh my god BAM! the world dropped FIAT and all financial law in favor of Monero coins on Polo.

Care to explain how the fucking hell that is going to happen ?

EDIT:

Get this people i went and looked just now and Dash is just under $20 a coin and Monero is at about $13  Cheesy

I'd say that is an indication of what the Altcoin scene thinks..
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So now we've run dry on gimmicks and innovation we're back to meme on: February 16, 2017, 04:15:35 AM
I agree bbc.reporter been saying that for ages.
Why ? Because new users coming here really don't grasp the magnitude of it all.
They heard scam.. and think oh yeah yeah.. and they carry on desperate.. for ROI'z.

And the BTC guys ? Yeah i think you are right.
Most i think are full of hot dumpster fire shit.

Where do you all think all this large BTC comes from in ALT's ?

We don't have a scene that is looking for a bright future.
We have a majority in control steering the boat for short term profits.. off of anything.
When steering it in a bad direction it will go down like the titanic.
The warning signs were ignored for a good decade before the world recession way back.
Greenspan's own board members kept begging the guy to do something as they seen the ice berg coming.
He just kept cawing like a crow that the scene won't let it destroy itself.
He was dead wrong and admitted it later too !

And this crap is far worse.

I have often felt sorry for the idiot bag hodlers here who long con their coins.
Pick a coin any coin and you will see the long term bag holders desperate and too stubborn to give up.
Altcoins a sound investment ?
Uhhmmm yeah sure  Cheesy
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: February 16, 2017, 03:55:52 AM
Do you guys think you won something here ?
I made Monero look like swiss-cheese.
And the best you can do is dance around a little ?

Wanna know what is dumb ? Thinking your little opinions matter.
It don't.

The fact you have 0 legit retorts proves my point here.. Monero has no fucking future.

A currency for the world ?
What in the fucking hell have i been talking about each and every single god damn post for YEARS ?
You naive shill's skip over any and all rational explanation to how "the world" is going to end up using Monero.. one day.

You Monero idiots are the dumbest fucking shill's in all of crypto.

Your opinions mean squat.
Laws DO exist and they WILL be enforced whether you like it or not dumb fucks.
Sorry but you have no choice in the matter.
"Secure" he says earlier ?
Seen the earlier post i made where idiotpony posted his disclaimer ?
I could cite others from the past too.. all you guys do is shill bullshit for bucks.. BADLY !

If it's good enough for 3% of dark market criminals then it's secure enough for "the world" ?
Uhmmm did you just say that ? ROFL
Where do i even begin to start pounding that gay little shitty retort into the dirt ?
Lets start off by pointing Monero was just added to DM's and has not been used long enough to claim "secure"
At best you can say so far.. best you can tell.
Heard of Silk Road ? used it lately ?

And according to you dumb ass's the 3% of DM users translate into global world adoption and abandoning any and all financial law and dropping FIAT in favor of buying the millionaire's bags ?
You guys must so high your trippin' balls !

I can't even believe how fucking dumb you all are.
You think the entire world (the majority) WANTS to abandon all financial laws ?
Are you god damn high ?
Who the fuck paid those bail-outs way back in the USA ?
You drop FIAT for a secure anon coin at Bitcointalk ?
Is theymos going to hand out bail-out money if Monero tanks to shit if an exploit is found ?
Who is to say one hasn't been found already ?
One exploit and the whole entire chain has unraveled exposing every single user that ever used Monero.

THEN...

You foolish Investards think you can actually win Cheesy

You naive kidiots here actually think you stand a chance in hell at going anywhere and doing anything let alone bring down govt and evading taxes and killing FIAT etc ?
You are high as fuck if you little morons think that !

The USA alone will take you out before you can even blink you snot nose cocky little crypto brats.
It's common sense that if the entire US govt's financial system is under serious threat.
You will all be dealt with and swiftly with ease.

Let's see how fast that little 3% niche market lasts when all the Monero big mouth shill's start vanishing one after another and their gambling sites etc are taken down.

You think Crypto in general has unbreakable faith in the success of Monero ?
FUCK NO !
They are loitering around trying to squeeze a buck off it and will run at the first sign of trouble.
When faced with the men-in-black at their door FEBO & Friends will tuck their little tails between their legs.

You know why the USA has not put severe pressure down on Monero ?
Because its not a threat.

The outside world and the people here give's 0 fucks about it.
There is nothing but 5 blow hard rejects here spouting off about it's "Rise & Rise"
Which amounts to a mini little profits & ROI's circle jerk in the crypto bubble.

FIAT vs Morono Coin ? guess who will win ?

Remember my Monero French Police Fraud topic ?
Remember how Latapie Risto's employee vanished for ages then came back apologizing with a story about a police investigation ?

ooooooooooooh i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo sure he mouthed them off and told them "I don't have to pay taxes" or "I don't have to follow FIAT law" etc etc..

Nope he was on his knee's sucking police cock guaranteed !
Probably already ratting out most of you long ago idiots.

Funny thing is i am warning you stupid fucks.
I am doing you a favor and you don't even see it.
Grow the fuck up before you end up in jail snot nose brats.

Planet earth does not give 2 shits about your opinion on "Law".. you will cuffed the same regardless of Dino's anti-law free market rebel teen speeches.

Just seen a guy recently arrested on DM's for selling Fentanyl.
Guess what ? Canada just gave a guy 14 years for selling it and they announced lots of new police measures and international cooperation.
They are on a blood thirsty man hunt for anyone involved and tops on the list is you guessed it.. Dark Market dealers ..that Monero morons are pandering to and bragging about.

I can't stress how unbelievably god damn stupid the Monero idiots here are.
I swear either you are all brain damaged and blind by the fear that you can't give up or your "investment" will evaporate.... or
You are actually setting up Monero shit as a covert project to nail DM's assholes.
