50 is definitely not enough.   Anyone who wants to stay using the board will have to suffer through that.

Something like SomethingAwful works well because the cost for the user to sign up.   Something in the middle of the spammer and the forum tends to work, as spammers who are having to work forums manually are obviously poor and tend to not be patient, having 100 posts will weed things down to only the most elite spammers lol

How about you read through this thread http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?action=printpage;topic=16343.0 and then come back and explain it to the class.

Because I know even I can't fully explain it all.

2164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitTalk Podcast - Episode 1 | Subscribe @ BitTalk.tv on: June 25, 2011, 06:40:27 AM
You have something to talk about BCP?  We're keeping these shows short, so we want to be focusing on issues rather than chatting - If you want to just shoot the shit though, I'm bittalkatom on Skype

Actually, I can blab a bit and have it focused and decently educated, I enjoy podcasts Smiley   I need to download this show, will listen in car tomorrow.   I actually might have a topic or two to have a reason to come on rather than shooting the shit with a random person lol
2165  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitCams.com on: June 25, 2011, 06:09:50 AM
BTW there are many people looking at this thread right now that think you're a clown.

I'm sure I'm the one they are laughing it. Grin Grin

If I was into BDSM I would totally hire her, these posts represent a woman that will remind you what the word dominate means with every glance or some shit.  If I had a very specific cam site in mind, I would definitely go with her too.   But only these things.
2166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a girl who just heard of Bitcoins and came here - Any other gals here? on: June 25, 2011, 06:03:38 AM
I'm a girl too, this Bitcoin thing is confuuuusing  Huh  Tongue  Cheesy  Wink

They should make sites to help with this stuff

Anyways, I seen so many donate things in signatures, I put one in, someone should try it out, k Kiss
2167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will botnets be the death of Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2011, 05:48:58 AM
People from Google browse and use this forum.  They are not anti Bitcoin.  They have Solar Power and other forms of alternative electric energy.  They swoop in, create large generators specifically for mining.  They are able to regulate to a certain degree the value of the Bitcoin, as well as somehow make it safer for the general consumer.

I think there are bigger things to think about that botnets.

Everyone needs to stop focusing on some odd things that could and could not happen with Bitcoin and focus on spending it on goods and services.

I like it, but I don't love it.

2170  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitCams.com on: June 25, 2011, 05:07:23 AM
We plan on being really transparent with the site, and showing the Bitcoin community that businesses can be built with this currency, despite what the nay Sayers may say.

This thread turned out amusing as hell and will be a side note in the history of your site.  Strong supporter of ventures using Bitcoin, I think the ability to make a workable site is easy, but you have the potential for larger things if you get on it properly right off the bat, I only wish the best for this project Smiley
2171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitTalk Podcast - Episode 1 | Subscribe @ BitTalk.tv on: June 25, 2011, 04:55:28 AM
Silly Black and White Bitcoin Photoshop by Bitcoin Porn Wink

Will have to check out when I get the chance, a good podcast has been needed.

Also, more than willing to Skype and bullshit.
2172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Square²Wear Slogan Contest (win 1.5 btc) on: June 25, 2011, 02:49:06 AM
Here's my problem.  There are like 20 A-list slogans here.  Can I enter into group negotiations to buy the whole lot?  Who speaks for the mob?

I do not speak for them, but I agree with you here, a lot of real winners.  I even had another, and a friend behind me as I type this had a good visual suggestion I might throw in Photoshop and send to you (Square2 logo itself)
2173  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any good web hosts you guys know? on: June 24, 2011, 09:26:09 PM
lol, but tumblr is amazing for simple websites.  They also offer a decent API so you can embed content by tag from the site into another page.

Oh, I assure you, I am a fan http://bitcoinporn.TUMBLR.com Wink

People hear tumblr, automatically think kid teen blog, and I am completely fine with that Smiley    I think it's userbase has just recently hit Wordpress numbers or something I believe I read.
2174  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing the Bitcoin Hedge Fund on: June 24, 2011, 09:24:20 PM
C'mon, people.  You're wasting your time debating this.  At best it's a prank, at worst it's a scam.

The OP changed his signature.  Originally it looked like this, with 'Ponzi' instead of 'Hedge Fund':

Move along, nothing to see here folks.

Ah, joke signature backfires?

Or maybe not a joke at all.
2175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have .10 Bitcoins here. on: June 24, 2011, 09:12:24 PM

give it to him he did a better job than I did Sad

Well now I feel like shit lol

Split the profits between me and Free!

If you were a wise king Atlus, you'd just give FreeBTC all the BTC as he is the true mother seeing as how he is willing to just give the coin up.  I read it in the bible.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have .10 Bitcoins here. on: June 24, 2011, 08:44:39 PM

2179  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: I will post in your thread / vouch for you for ONLY 0.005 BTC! on: June 24, 2011, 08:12:38 PM
This is the greatest service ever.

I would like to see this in action however.  And this won't be easy.   I would like to see your high quality post working skills on this post:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21923.msg276157#msg276157

The goal, make claim that the person should be the winner.  However, no thread abuse, just one good solid reply backing that post up as the winner.

Go.

Also, what are your previous user names you worked under Jessica, I wish to read your work on my free time.
2180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The delay re-opening MtGox has been a good thing on: June 24, 2011, 07:50:17 PM
The three solutions are equally plausible.
I love the gambling aspect of Bitcoin.  So much.
