2162  Economy / Economics / Re: What is going on, who is selling at these prices? on: January 12, 2017, 01:47:33 PM
I just dont get it.  Huh i have been in bitcoin since 2012 so i understand the ups and downs in price.  i have also been acquiring bitcoin since then.  but i just dont understand the how people can still be selling at below $800.

is it just people who are recent into the market ?  i thought it was abit early for ATH last week but i didnt expect a pull back to below $800.

what ya thinking?

The ones who are selling now are the ones who have little to no knowledge on bitcoin. Many of them bought in at the top, because everyone was hyping in media that bitcoin would rise to 10,000$+. Now they see that bitcoin isnt some moonrocket and it has its swings. They are afraid of it going to 0 and them losing their investment so they sell.

Some whales might be manipulating the market too, you cannot ever know. If you had lot of btc, you could drive the price down and buy more coins at really low price.
If you had example 10000 BTC, you would try to drive the price down too right to gain more?
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BASH] LuckChain, Blockchain Game Platform, YoBit C-CEX ICO Escrow on: January 12, 2017, 01:30:13 PM
after the ICO at C-CEX, two things can happen since the price from C-CEX and yobit have some difference, it may rise some sats or go down to follow the pricing at yobit, a conflict in pricing might be an advantage for those using arbitrage trading, buying low from yobit then selling a little higher at C-CEX since the deposit will be enable after the ICO, i guess.

My experience is that they take many days to open the deposits and withdrawals after ICO's, could have changed tho.

If coin is not listed/after 7 business days/>request is declined
You can activate yobicode for yourself

I have not even heard much good about yobit.net, i think they are considered really shady exchange by the community.
After we get some volume at cryptopia, c-cex would probably be a next stop and after that bittrex.
2165  Economy / Services / Re: Need PayPal withdrawal service on: January 12, 2017, 09:28:45 AM

2166  Economy / Services / Re: Get $0.15 for VERY easy sign up on website. Valid email required #3 on: January 12, 2017, 09:14:27 AM
PM SENT.

"REQUIREMENTS
1. Junior member rank or higher (do not continue if you are a newbie)
2. Only perform task once
3. No temporary email service allowed"

OP clearly defined the rules so, he does not need to pay you if he decides to do so.
Please do always read the post before taking the task, because you just missed an important point.
I do not mean to sound like a douche, just making a point.
2167  Economy / Services / Re: Get $0.15 for VERY easy sign up on website. Valid email required #3 on: January 12, 2017, 07:07:09 AM
Hey dreamer81
why I have not received payment ?

Because the payments are sent on batches to lower the bitcoin fees so it takes few task completers to get paid.

Am i qualified to do the task?
The OP's post says minimum rank jr. Member so i guess not.
2168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The safest wallet? on: January 11, 2017, 10:59:22 PM
If you are willing to invest, trezor or ledgerwallet nano S. If you are storing over 0.2 btc, you might want to look onto hardware wallets because probably they are your besr bet regarding safety. Of course you should generate the seeds for example ledgeewallet on a computer that is disconnected from the internet.
2169  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: January 11, 2017, 10:17:53 PM
Maybe invest them something like on btcpop.co, if you like to take risks. Just try to find a loan that will be most certainly paid back.
They have a really nice looking site which works really well, also you can invest "anonymously" so no need to send any kind of documents when investing.
Cheers, Onni
2170  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: January 11, 2017, 09:55:58 PM
I think that centralization does not really suit bitcoin, but that is just my opinion. I think that only valuable choice would be registered company operating under some license and of course holding (and insuring) the bitcoin for you. I think that some interest rates should be applied too, if someone adapts this  idea.
2171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to explain what it bitcoin to a beginner? on: January 11, 2017, 06:07:02 PM
This is what i usually say "Bitcoin is a a fair and decentralized currency that is controlled my laws of math automatically and the rules are on the code of the program. New bitcoins are generated by anyone who has a computer or something to compute with (example asic's) no one can seize your funds as long as you have no one has the private key generated by your client. So basically it is just a system used for payments and cannot be really stopped as long as people are running nodes and mining the currency with their computing power. Everyone who is running a certain type of client (example bitcoin core) has all the transactions made since the beginning."
2172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can i start mining on my laptop ? on: January 11, 2017, 03:43:40 PM
Yes, you can mine with your laptop. Will you make any profit? Nope, you won't be making any profit. Instead you might end up damaging your laptop. If you have cheap electricity, buy a mining rig and start mining.

Yeah i agree, but OP should get some ASIC's for mining SHA-256 coins pretty much. Scrypt and SHA-256 are not really worth mining on standard computer since they have  ASIC's already designed for them and released.

2176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning !!! about coinbase web wallet.. on: January 11, 2017, 01:33:28 PM
Never had any problems with coinbase, except when buying btc sometimes it says failed and takes money from the card little bit later. You could just always do this if you dont want to get tracked by them: coinbase -> wallet -> bitcoin mixer service -> wallet. Don't store your bitcoins there, withdraw asap to an address you own private key for.
The moment money arrives in the coinbase wallet, logically you give out your control to the exchange.Meaning, they can do whatever the fuck they want with the coins. If the sources of your coins is through a gambling site or any fraudulent practices ,your account will be suspended with no explanations. Why choose a complicated way to make your bitcoins secure when you can simply use a small desktop wallet?

I do not mix my coins, but never had any problems when withdrawing to wallet and not to gambling sites. Also coinbase has lowest fees for me as i can get so im not changing because i've had a good experience with them.

Interms on that, but what about.if you are buying at them or having a huge balance stored? Surely you will suffer a problem same as other people claimed here, but if you dont face any serious issue for now much better if you wouldn't store huge volume if btc in their, try to learn from peoples though since they experienced to be compromised by them.
That is why it is best to do small buys like under 100€ and then withdrawing to wallet, and then buying more. It is generally a bad idea to store your bitcoins on an address you dont hold private keys for. I do know that coinbase can be pretty shady sometimes. On OP's case, if it was a really big sum he should threaten with legal action if they do not give him his bitcoins or refund money. Lawyer can be option too.

42coin has definetly some potential (not for daily payments probably because it is so hard to play with the decimals).
I think that the coin has alot of potential as kind of like "collection" coin. I hope that we will build a decent community soon enough, also a theme on the wallet would be pretty dope (too bad i am not a programmer so i do not know how to do it).

You can switch to "Dents" (1 Dent = 0.00000001) and it will make easier the small/daily payments.
As for the adding of themes/graphics to the wallet - it is not so bad idea, but it will make the wallet non universal, more heavier and not so fast, especially for weak/low-power systems, stake-boxes and Android...

Yeah you are right, im actually running my 42-qt on a raspberry pi 3 so it is better that it is light, maybe toggleable theme or something could be good? Of course these are purely just suggestions. By the way, is there a paid vote to be added on cryptopia or will we be added for free?

Is it possible to get flavoured air? I think that you should go into the lion's den tv-show, this is such a great business idea if you ask me. If i had a million i would invest it onto your air business.
