2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 11, 2023, 11:46:24 PM
Recently on this forum, there are many stories about new adopters making their first Bitcoin purchases or about small businesses which adopted Bitcoin.

It's always good news to hear more people are acquiring Bitcoin, even if it's in small amounts. My advice is that OP continues buying BTC in small amounts always it's possible and that he stores his coins in a hardware Trezor or Ledger wallet. I would say next time, between buying more BTC or buying a wallet, he should go for the wallet...
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 11, 2023, 07:38:40 PM
If you are a very competitive person who can't accept taunts from other people it can be really hard to keep calm in gambling, especially in PvP games, but you have to train your mental skills to cool down your emotions when you feel enraged by a loss or provocation, otherwise I fear that is not the kind of activity you can get involved with, for your own good. When we are younger, more exactly during the childhood, it's more common to face such "tilting" issues, but normally we tend to evolve on this aspect within time, as we grow older, wiser and more experient.
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 11, 2023, 07:26:58 PM
No, 1 BTC won't be enough to become rich. Imagine you don't have any properties and goods and that you have to build your entire financial life with just 1 Bitcoin. The maximum you will be able to acquire with that money is a house or a car. Then how are you going to get rich this way? From where are you going to get money to maintain a house or a car? How will you generate income for a living? A single Bitcoin isn't enough, even if you live on the poorest nation in the world, I suppose...

1 BTC is helpful as a powerful booster to start an investment thinking on your future, but it won't raise your financial class status. You need much more money in every cases!
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: April 11, 2023, 05:45:27 PM
Recently bank like Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley bank are collapsing. People are switching their money to bitcoin. Is it the sign that more people are no longer trusting the bank and are moving toward to decentralized world?
The collapse of banks in US have indeed its positive impact on Bitcoin price, as we can see the price has been rising since that happened, however, we must be careful when making further assumptions, because most people aren't switching their money into bitcoin. I believe the impact we see is more due to big investors speculating, instead of an organic movement from the independent society towards Bitcoin's adoption.

Is it the sign that more people are no longer trusting the bank and are moving toward to decentralized world?
I'm not sure about that. It's more like a signal speculators have already saturated the traditional market, so they are willing to come back to crypto universe, until they also saturate it once again, and then go back to traditional markets once more. That is the never ending cycle we have been watching to happen before our eyes.
2165  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 11, 2023, 05:33:45 PM
Impressive day for bitcoin! Price pushed above the 30,000$ line to almost 30,400$ and small corrections since then to 29,900$, with instant recoveries to 30,000$ again. The currently tendency wants bitcoin to stay above the line, although I also see some considerable pressure trying to revert this tendency downside. I guess we are going to see a constant battle till the end of the day for supremacy (between bullish and bearish).

It's still early to say what is going to happen next. For now I just want to remain hopeful and optimistic, because that is the feeling the year of 2023 has brought to us.
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 10, 2023, 05:32:16 PM
My question is how can one know that their game is rigged? If you play over 20 games and you lose it all, no one will believe you if you say that their is something wrong with the platform because truthfully as a gambler you have to lose, so what way can you actually know that a casino game is been rigged?
What I can tell you is to avoid casinos which don't have provably fair feature and to avoid games from third party services (mainly slot machines) which you are doubtful about the legitimacy of the provider. Important to notice in this case I'm not talking about the casino platform you are playing, but the company which provides them the games. A same company provides games to a plethora of online casinos.

In general you can't take 20 losses in a row as a solid proof the game is rigged, because after all it's all about random results which can indeed take the gambler to lose 20 times or more in sequence, without losing the legitimacy of the results.

Actually, most scams executed by casinos are related to the denial of cashouts by the house to the users, and not during the betting sessions.
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: April 10, 2023, 05:15:11 PM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?
If Elon Musk hadn't supported Doge coin, meme coins may not have been as popular. However, the success of a project depends not only on the support of well-known individuals, but also on many other factors, such as ideas, team, technology, and community support. Perhaps meme coins could have developed more slowly, but they still would have had a chance to succeed if they had unique ideas and opportunities for growth.
Elon Musk used all his influence to boost memecoins to a level of importance they would never be able to reach by themselves or through common advertisement methods like bounty campaigns. Only DOGE would remain popular in every cases, because it was already one of the favorite classic coins in crypto universe by many enthusiasts, even without Musk's support. What Elon did was to push DOGE to a new price range, consequently pushing all the trash of the memecoins' niche as well and unfortunatelly luring investors to losses, especially regards SHIB investments.
2168  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 10, 2023, 04:34:22 PM
Borrowing money can get you out of the financial troubles you are facing, but you may accidentally get caught up in another problem. Borrowing money from friends, relatives or close family might be able to help you overcome financial problems without having to pay interest. if you borrow money from moneylenders it is not a good solution for you, the consequences will be very fatal if you fail to pay off the installments at the appointed time.

You need to manage your finances wisely so that you are not in debt, spend money as needed, and you can use the rest for other unexpected needs. Arrange your finances according to income, don't get caught in digging holes to close holes for borrowing money to pay off debts.
Borrowing is a dangerous deal when people do this to pay a pending bill, for an example. Many people on this situation enter an endless cycle of new loans to pay previous loans, continuously, until the interest rates become so intense that the person can't continue doing this anymore. After all the pending bill becomes much more expensive than the initial one, which lead the person to borrow money for the first time.

Unfortunatelly not everyone have family and friends who they can count on to take some money borrowed, so their only alternative is to appeal to a bank or loan shark. The fact is that such deals are only advised if the person is borrowing money to invest in something solid, which can allow them to calculate how much they are going to make from the investment and how long it's going to take.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 10, 2023, 03:18:35 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

My strategy is that I don’t have it. I play for fun, this is my main priority. There is always an amount that I spend on various games and bets, and if I don’t win anything, it’s like a payment for a good time and nothing more.I know that there are people who make big money on games and they have a plan and strategy for the game, but it doesn't always work.
Strategies are mainly used to assist you managing your bankroll properly, making it last longer, so you can play for a long time with a relatively low or average budget, while a gambler playing crazily without any methods or strategies in mind is much more likely to spend a fortune in a short time period, without having any fun or solid gameplay. I've already seen gamblers losing 2,000$-20,000$ in few minutes for that reason. That is completely foolish.

So it totally worth to adopt a strategy to your gambling session. You may not always win, but you will have more chances to win if playing in an organized way, plus having more fun.
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 10, 2023, 03:05:14 PM
honestly speaking, I go with the suggestion that the site should get a revamp, I agree that sometimes, somethings are better left as it is, but not in this case, freebitco needs to update their design, the look is too outdated, it does not fit the accomplishments freebitco have made in this several years, they need to update the design of the site to something more modern.

Or here is another idea, if they really love this design and don't want to loose it, they can design a new version of freebitco with a modern design and conjoin it to the current freebitco, then introduce a button through which users can switch between both designs, they can name the current design "vintage" since it look old school, and name the modern design "classic", this way, users get to choose whether to have their freebitco account operate in vintage or classic mode.
I do agree with multiple pages type of deal. That way you could either use the old one or the new one, that is purely dependant on you and whatever you pick. That way they do not have to really force anyone to do anything they do not want to do. I know that not many people really have any type of reason to leave just because the design changed, but I am pretty sure there would be plenty of reasons to join because the design changed.

I have been here far long enough to know what has happened in its history, and a big design change is not one of them. I am afraid that if it keeps looking like this for another 10 years, there is a potential threat that people may leave for things that look better, or more mobile responsive.
Personally I go for the nostalgic sensation. I like the site exactly how it is because it remains loyal to its early years, which also remind us very positive memories and emotions from a time when Bitcoin was cheap, had a lot of growing potential and it was easy and simple to acquire large sums of satoshis through the use of faucets. The currently freebitco.in's design is like a sweet memory from a place, situation or object from your childhood which you remember with a lot of affection and kindness.

Maybe it's not so interesting and looks old-fashioned for the new users, therefore developers have to take every aspects into consideration and weight all of them to reach the best conclusion from the site's sustainability and prosperity point of view.
2171  Economy / Economics / Re: Does People Really Care About Decentralization? on: April 09, 2023, 08:58:41 PM
What are your thoughts on it, like if we really want to remain anonymous and want to get more control of the internet by leveraging Web3 then why we are riding on the boat of Web2? Why are we still sticking to centralized platform?
You are right on your analysis, and that is actually the answer to your final questions. People don't want to get more control of the internet, people don't want to stay anonymous. People want to be entertained and to be in direct contact with their pairs. You know that, because you are aware about the high popularity of Tik Tok (which is ruled by China), online dating apps, social medias in general and every other applications which enforce viewers accepting cookies and personal data sharing.

Anonymity isn't a demand from the public in general. They don't bother being seen and watched, since they are rewarded (financially or emotionally).
2172  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limited in every bookmaker on: April 09, 2023, 08:49:38 PM
We don't know what his offer might be that someone cannot refuse, but it most probably will be an offer to either buy an account or asking someone to bet for him and share the profits and both of these aren't good for the other person.
These are offers that shouldn't be taken in consideration by anyone, doesn't matter the price he pays for it, because the most valuable good or asset in life is our name, that in this case could be translated as our ID. Someone selling an account on any bookmakers to OP is going to face serious issues later, once he is caught doing shady things once again. We don't know exactly how further the consequences can reach for the seller, but for precaution just stay away.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 09, 2023, 07:48:25 PM
me? i don't really think i'll consider my self as risk taker at all, since there are different kinds of risk. as for me, i'll consider my self as a gambler since it's like i'm only playing around with money without expecting great in return while i am learning the processs at the same time. the reason why i won't consider my self as a risk taker is that, i didn't like the idea of risking without getting something in return, but with playing around i expect that i will lose that money immediately, this is mostly why i'll only play the amount that i can afford to lose or some spare money that i don't really need. the idea of converting valuable things to fiat and gamble the money is not really for me.
Well, that is, at least, an odd point of view... First, because gamblers are risk takers by nature, and second because when you gamble (and you consider yourself a gambler), you are completely risking money for something in return. So I really don't understand why you don't like the idea of doing so. That is a very contradictory statement!
2174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 09, 2023, 04:30:35 PM
A casino asking for KYC for any amount that is considered big is a normal thing and it doesn't make a casino a scam, and there would probably be a reason why they didn't accept the KYC application, the main reason for that could be invalid documents, so the player will need to get in touch with the support team and confirm which document would work and apply with that once again.

For the bonus part, I think the best thing to do is to contact support and tell them about the situation, if they respond and still don't do anything about it, then the doubts would surely arise about the service not being legit, but things like that happen and support should be able to help.
That is why it's important to read terms and conditions first, and if possible, reviews from other gamblers as well. So once you face such issues with the platform, you will be able to provide accurate informations and use the terms of the house against themselves to get what you are eligible to, by the rules.

However, if it's stated on the rules that the house has the right to ask for KYC at any moment or for withdrawals above X amount of money, there is nothing the gambler can do besides following the protocol in order to have his money withdrawn. Regards bonus campaigns it's also necessary to read what the terms behind it are, because there might be the chance you don't receive the reward as expected due to have failed fulfilling a requirement or another.
2175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 09, 2023, 03:23:26 PM
    -  But referral links are often used in MLM schemes as well. Although the only difference between this and gambling is that every time a deposit is made, there is a commission bonus that will enter the balance of the owner of the link itself.

When we always make a deposit, we always get a gambling bonus as far as I know, but I'm not sure if it's always or just once.
The difference between MLMs and gambling is that MLMs are usually ponzi schemes which fully rely on affiliates mechanism to exist, while gambling is a real industry which moves large sums of money daily with or without referrals and affiliates.

MLMs promote products' sales, although some of them seem to be more focused on the recruitment of new affiliates instead of the products themselves, what makes many of us and also authorities believe they are in fact ponzi schemes, and therefore should be discouraged.
2176  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 08, 2023, 11:13:17 PM
In my opinion without government there aren't jobs, because the jobs industry needs a friendly government with friendly policies and regulations to be healthy and prosperous. A country which encourages independent and small businesses is likely to become the destiny of many entrepreneurs who look for this kind of atmosphere to settle down, consequently warming the local economy and creating new jobs opportunities.

On the other hand, when the government is hostile to entrepreneurs, charging abusive taxes and creating bureaucracy for those who want to work, this country is going to lose interest from businessmen as a potential realm where they can start their activities, therefore local citizens are going to have a hard time finding opportunities for a living. When this happens, one of the only alternatives left is the internet for earnings.

As we can see, government's decisions are totally crucial on the sucess of the economical life of a country and its citizens.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 08, 2023, 10:51:01 PM
Some people use martingale strategy to win while some people use it and lose, but if you use it, you need discipline.
The more you play, more likely it's going to be that you are going to lose, what is inevitable at some point, due to hiting the called long term in gambling and also due to the house edge, which is the small advantage the house has against gamblers. You need discipline to not waste all your money at once and to not lose more money than you can afford to lose, although you must be always prepared to lose money when using Martingale strategy.

The strategy is pretty efficient on short term, but the problem is that we never know when it's going to stop working... It can be on your next bet or after the 100th bet.
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba Inu still worth it? on: April 08, 2023, 01:58:43 PM
I don't think meme coins like shiba inu will last long, because shiba inu and other meme coins are just a temporary hype since the elon musk effect, but no one can predict all of that, invest wisely and take your own risk
Shiba Inu hype is over. It had its time on the last bull run, but no more. The next trend of crypto market is AI. Speculators should look for that and stop wasting their time and money with SHIB and other meme coins of the same kind. From this niche, probably only DOGE will survive and remain somehow influent among its altcoins pairs.

Even Elon Musk is focusing his attention on AIs right now. You can expect to see where money is moving on by spoting the subjects this guy is talking about.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 08, 2023, 01:48:46 PM
I would talk about the borderless trait of Bitcoin, which allows its adopters to transact with the entire world in a decentralized way on the comfort of their houses. Bitcoin is a powerful tool for virtual workers who are paid by foreigner employers to maximize their earnings and to skip banks' participation on the process.

For the average citizen who uses internet solely for entertainment purposes this argument may not make much effect, though, but I'm not too worried about it, because for this kind of person there won't be any arguments to convince them to adopt Bitcoin, because they live inside what some call Matrix. That is, they aren't able to open their minds to new concepts such as Bitcoin.
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betcrypto.cr bankroll idea| thinking on opening our bankroll for investors $400k on: April 07, 2023, 11:19:59 PM
Bankroll investments have always been very profitable. That is a great alternative for investors looking for different ways to make their money grow. However, there are two golden rules before applying for such investments:

1) The casino has to have high daily traffic of gamblers, what means there is a constant flux of money, which will proportionate investors' fast profit;

2) The casino has to be highly reputable, so investors won't be so concerned about letting their money idle there for long periods of time.

And even though this is a great concept of investment, it has lost popularity along the years inside crypto gambling industry due to not fulfilling those both requirements. And I fear neither Betcrypto will be able to fulfill them, because it's also a minor unknown casino.

If you want investors, you will have to build your reputation first and wait few years at least, that is enough time to show how legit and serious your business is. Good luck!
