2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investor Psychology on: January 26, 2022, 10:42:51 PM
there is an explanation for that. observe what happens to anyone new to day trading, the new person always buys at the top because he thinks the price will continue to rise and he never buys on the fall because he thinks the price will continue to fall a lot and he would be in a lot of losses, but we are in a market and there are no feelings here, if someone is losing that is the person's responsibility and if someone is making a profit that is the person's responsibility
Profitability would really be depending on someones action and if he does have that kind of mindset and beliefs then for sure he would be fucked up by the market thats why you should really learnt up on things that you should gonna learn because it would be the best tool for you to sustain this market even though it would be hard but doesnt mean that it cant be done thats why results will really be varying with those factors.Dont take things too easily and confidently because these are the common factors on why people do really mess up.
2162  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: January 26, 2022, 09:47:27 PM
The online loan trend makes it easy for anyone to get into debt, I think this is a serious problem because most people borrow just for fun and very little is used for investment, as long as we borrow online and use it for productive things, it's certainly better.
As it should be but we know that everyone does have their own mindset when it comes to things on where we do really end up on different choices and preference and when it comes to risk taking then its also different. Some might really love to play with fire but there are some who do want to play safe which is definitely considerable thing or a must to be done and not just taking actions without some having problems when it comes on repaying some debt.
2163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: January 25, 2022, 11:50:49 PM
If we can take a look back at the ones who diversified their long-term portfolio in Ethereum, BNB... (you get my point I guess) I am sure they don't regret it!
But, how many of us got skills to identify the right coins to diversify among 10k options (I read that there are around 10k different cryptocurrenices and tokens are being traded on exchanges). I mean that the options in front of you to diversify is countless which leads us to end up in shitcoins in most cases.

Well, the ones with skills have a higher success rate, the ones without for sure have some good hits! I think there are some basics when you are checking some project, you do some research, you try it if you can, if there's a product or not, etc... and of course, there's a risk!
BNB is a good example, did we risk buying BNB at a $1 price and trading it at the $10-$20 range for a long time... where it's now? So they had something good already, a big exchange, something was happening, and they made nice records last year. So it's simple, find something good that you like, that you tried and it's working well, that project probably has a big potential, risk it and invest!
We do have different takings and decisions towards certain project and if you do really find out that this is something worthy to risks on then go ahead and invest but if not then try to seek another one as if there are lots of coins in the market which you could choose from and this is where you do really make your own success in the market. If you dont risks then you wouldnt know on what would
be the result so its better to have different investments on different coins as long you do have the money to invest and tend to put lots of eggs on different basket on which it could
possibly give out chances to earn more.
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 25, 2022, 10:47:33 PM
for each possible advertisement or streams that in relate with marketing but as a viewer/fan then we arent that dumb on not to notice things or could really make out some verification

first before do making some such step because we do have our own self will on doing things and not needed for some sort of those extras.

Man, i had seen drug advertisement on youtube few years ago  Grin
Here it, news about this case, but in russian (you need to translate a little bit) - https://vc.ru/flood/25751-youtube-hydra

So it's weird to ask Youtube for moderating of gambling advertisement in video, if it can't properly moderate it's own video prerolls  Grin
And i think, that Youtube do not want to moderate it. So, all hopes for the regulations.
Any persons that is waiting for the regulation of influencers content is wasting their time because Youtube are making their own money from content viewers which makes it difficult for such expectation. Individual gambling should take necessary precautions to avoid being scammed or interacting with fame projects.
What happens is that for there to be a regulation it is very difficult, since now it is not possible to determine what is a scam or not, because there is no regulation in this regard, and there are many complaints worldwide to regulate everything related to crypto , for example NFT games, because metaverses and games of metaverses are coming, many hope that there will be a regulation like there was with ICOs, but I think that this is not the solution because when there are regulations it is very difficult to adapt, there is a clear chance with the metaverses, just wait and see how they can handle certain vulnerabilities.

Back in the past on which people do really whine off about regulation about those ICO projects back in the past which it didnt really happen and now they are asking the same thing with the current hype and interest on the market. You wouldnt really be dumb on not to make out some research in regarding with these things and when you do see something which isnt out of your taste
then its not really bad to make out some considerations on making out some research first before dealing whether its regulated or not.
2165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Busking to promote Bitcoin on: January 25, 2022, 09:41:20 PM
I've been given a Fender DG60CE electro-acoustic guitar. If I learnt to play it, and busked to ask for Bitcoin, would this help to increase awareness of Bitcoin?

I'm asking this because Bitcoin seems to be moving away from the common people, and finding its way into the wallets of the bankers and investment houses.
If you busk on this forum, you may get paid a few bitcoins on condition that you play the guitar properly and your voice is not discordant. Grin
I think you'd better sing in public in a crowd using your guitar with a self-composed song, the title is "bitcoin", and then it will make more sense to be able to promote bitcoin to everyone and besides that you earn money because you busking while promoting bitcoin in the crowd.
Would be a win-win situation? Of course because you might able to get some money and at the same time you are spreading awareness and exposure about bitcoins existence. It is really good to look at that there are people who are really that willing to make these things in public just for the sake of exposure and adoption which is really something commendable and only a few could really have able to take this idea and would realized it.@OP, if you do love on having that way then go for it as long you dont violate something then its up to your own will and rights on doing so.
So good luck for this one.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 25, 2022, 08:26:36 PM
Cant really be denied that when it comes to revenue then low caps or low value  could really give out those kind of chances for you to make money but speaking with recognition and
adoption then it cant really be denied that bitcoin is far more superior and come to think into those people who had made out profits on those DEfi,Nft's etc. are
converting always their profits into BTC? That surely proves out on how much trust they are really putting into.
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: January 25, 2022, 07:12:42 PM
I bought altcoins because I saw the potential it has, there are many options for me to invest where we like. And that became one of the reasons for me, why I bought altcoins. When the price of bitcoin is like now, yes, altcoins are an option for us, so we can still take advantage in situations like this.
The steps you have taken are indeed right and it is not wrong to take advantage of the current situation to buy some Altcoins, but you also have to look at coins that have the potential to recover faster at the time of purchase, don't buy immediately without considering this because there are many people who regretted in the past for choosing the wrong Altcoin at the time of buying it.
Criterias?

1. Potential
2. Liquidity or volume
3. Real use case
4. Recognition or popularity

Primary factors which you do need to consider before jumping into investing but choosing one wont really be simple as it sounds.
There are still coins/projects which are still undervalued and most people is trying to find it.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 24, 2022, 11:41:00 PM
I think the most important thing I pay attention to before I register at an online casino is whether KYC verification is required. I believe that in cryptocurrency casinos there should be no KYC verification at all, and I avoid casinos in which verification is required.

KYC is a thing that you should expect to implement in the future.
That's a reality. It started from the exchange and now slowly implementing on crypto-gambling sites.

But for this simple registration, KYC shouldn't be asked. For small or not decent withdrawals, KYC shouldn't also be asked.

But for big wins, alarms, suspicious, KYC can be considered to be asked if it's really necessary and won't hurt the other party.
So far it isnt really that fast for it to be implemented but i wont really be shocked nor get surprised if it would become some standard in near future because government wouldnt really just let
these things to slip out without having some regulation being imposed which these businesses or platforms wouldnt really be having no choice but to make out such changes even if they do know
that their customers or clients would really be much affected since we do really value that no KYC thing or totally anonymous which most people on this
market do really mind of.
2169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: January 24, 2022, 10:42:00 PM
Yes, Indeed. This is a good way to increase assets. I didn't use this kind of platform but, as far as I know Staking cryptocurrency is a way to grow your crypto holdings without buying more. You’ve probably heard of people making money by trading cryptocurrencies. But there’s a different way to grow your crypto holdings without having to buy more. Staking is a way of preventing fraud and errors in this process. I know that platform but don't visit it most of the time.
Yes staking is a way to growing your crypto asset but it also has a big disadvantages compared to the benefit one can make when you stake a token or coin. I could  remember the loses I made when I staked one of the token I was holding. When the token was teased to me after being staked with interest, the token has already lost value which brought heavy loses.
Disadvantages of Staking?

2170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 24, 2022, 09:56:43 PM
There has been a lot of talk about this a few days ago and it was thought that we might enter a new bull market in early 2022 but the current situation is far from it. However, if we review the past and present of BTC, it is not so difficult for 100K rising. I think since BTC dropped below 40K the chances have increased a lot. Maybe this year we will be able to enter the big bull market.
We couldnt really have everything because even how high the price could be then expecting something on beyond prices then this cant happen immediately thats why getting fomo'ed kind of emotion is really very common on this market on where you do really believe that it would be a smooth sail ride without even thinking about corrections and dips of prices which did really happen recently.
Mind off about those random ups and down and take advantage with those movements and make out profits with it even though its hard but it could really be done.
It is really just a matter of own realistic perception towards this market whether you do deal with it or ignore simply.
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 24, 2022, 09:07:43 PM
but there is nothing to update in his part now , yeah he owns 2 casino but this does not need him to be active in chatting here , instead he is keeping the balance of His casino and the support is answering inquiries so i think we have no right to question his behavior and way of treating his own casinos.
and maybe he keeps getting online to check if there is serious matter that needs his attention and those trolling or nonsense topics that runs here and there.
lightlord is very active in this forum even today he is online several times. I think judging he bad things is inappropriate, he owns 2 big gambling sites and is one of the longest existing ones, so I think it's not wise to cast prejudice on he.

Just because he owns 2 casinos doesn't mean that the casinos are somehow reputable because of that.

The fact of the matter is that he is defrauding people because of the delayed withdrawals that are being held indefinitely. And it's not just one issue - it's multiple complaints about the same site, over and over again, and the fact that he is ignoring it instead of addressing it is laughable.

If he can't run the place he should move on from it or sell it. Not keeping it half dead, half alive.
It would be totally dead if he would let these things to happen and its laughable when you dont really make out some announcement or make a word on whats happening on the site as an owner.
Its been showed that he logs into this forum but didnt make out some response or do talks about on sites issue? Im not really able to blame out people on having a presumption that this site
might be already dead and the owner tends to scam out its users that deposited on the site or simply doesnt pays off in terms of marketing (signature campaign)
If things remain unresolved then we do know on whats next.
2172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 24, 2022, 08:41:42 PM
Bitcoin is not control by government because is a decentralized currency that pump and dump at anytime in the community. No body can tell when the price of bitcoin will increase and when it can decrease for people to buy and hold for future profit making.
I guess buyers and sellers are the controlled of bitcoin market because whenever there is a surplus supply of bitcoin in the exchange market there will be few buyers in the market which will cause low price to the investors to make a good profit at the moment.
Bitcoin which has peer-to-peer technology, of course, makes it impossible for anyone to control either big intuition, central banks and even the state cannot control bitcoin in the market, indeed we can all be part of bitcoin ownership but to control bitcoin is a very difficult thing impossible to do and the difficulty in controlling bitcoin is the reason for many countries in the world that prohibit the circulation of bitcoin so far. While the price of bitcoin in the market is expensive or not, it all depends on the number of supply and demand transactions that have occurred in the market so far.

But we couldnt really avoid the fact that whales/institutions/government could really have that significant impact whenever they do made out some moves.Lets put up an example on what happened recently about on the fundamentals on which Russia tends out to ban crypto? It did really make out the market dip down or corrected on big percentage and on the time they are somewhat
taking back those words then the market tends to recover which we arent that dumb to say that they had already placed up theirselves thats why its really possible that they would
really be hyping things up again. Manipulative? Some sort of but theres always some chance.
2173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 21, 2022, 09:48:18 PM
Hi crew. Hope you are all well in new 2022. Good moment to buy btc or eth?
Depends on your choice but basing off with technicals then price could dip down further but if you could take risk on entering with these current prices of Btc and Eth then it would depend on your
own choice to make because some would hesitate and some would see this as an opportunity. This had been always been the hardest part on which you couldnt determine on which would be
the possible bottom price and this is where personal calls and decisions would really vary from time to time. For me, its not a bad thing to accumulate or simply
make out some DCA strat for this one.
2174  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 21, 2022, 08:31:18 PM
Who can guarantee that every poor man can improve his income once investing/trading in crypto?
This is a sad reality. Not everyone that's poor is encouraged to get out of poverty as they can't stay there forever. There are those people that have already accepted their fate and already lost enthusiasm about life. And we've got situations to deal with and that's why others even if they want to invest, just can't spend a single penny because there's already the obligations that they have waiting for them to pay for. But I know of a known quote, "if there's a will, there's a way".
on the other hand I think almost all poor people want to change their lives so that at least it is better than their current condition but the problem is that they don't all have the opportunity to do something like this because there are various factors that do not support to change it.
I think it would be better for people who are more capable to be able to make something so that they can change their destiny because what I see now they can't if they are only pitied but must also be given the opportunity
Almost, yeah probably. But I've heard those unfortunate people that were talking about how satisfied and content they were. There's nothing much they can do because they don't have the enthusiasm to get out of poverty. And the reason they're giving is all about contentment.
Yeah, we can all be contented with the things and possessions that we have. But when it comes to life, you should be wise and there's the better way of living if you've got investments and financially free.
maybe there are some who will think like that but I feel very sure there are many out there who really want to change their fate and get out of poverty.
and as you said maybe there are some people who will indeed be satisfied with what they receive even if it is below the average standard of income but they are still grateful and quite satisfied.
but this is only a small part I think. and on the other hand we also have to think wisely because in life we can't only think about ourselves because of course besides us there are still people closest to us, in this case can be families, spouses or children who we really need to protect from poverty.
They do have that kind of mindset because they had already tried in the past but still failed to improve on someones financial status and im much sure of that but its true that majority will really be aiming on doing something which could possibly improve their lives because we dont like on being poor and we do like on buying things that we do like since we do have money to spend on.
Upgrading someones condition or situation will depend or vary on someones effort on achieving it, yes it would be hard but not that impossible for you to attain
on.
2175  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 21, 2022, 07:40:40 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382115.0
this to those who said bitvest is trusted!!!

Just did a quick read your thread and I find this:

My username is baodo1996

So you are basically the same user as the one who created this thread (baodo159)? If it is true, it makes me shocked since you have said Bitvest is the worst casino, garbage casino, etc but you are still depositing and playing? Now you get another issue related to the empty hot wallet that forced you to use mod (badger) to help you for your withdrawal but something unexpected happen with the mod?
what matter? I have 2 accounts but were my story is not true? I just do not want to use this account to post that threat since there are many users always look up on my post history then said I am trying to just destroy the casino and all my posts were only with BitVest. But it is the truth, I only having problem with this casino
Everything would only be proven out once Bitvest do gave out their word in regards with this issue and this would really remain speculative since people doesn't know if this one is trolling or real one.

If they wouldn't make out some clarification then this would really raise up some questions in mind whether they are really doing the actual thing or these are all just fake complaints and issues.
For now lets just wait for some words from the team itself.
Did you even read the threat I posted? I have attacked my chat transciript with their team. Stop saying anything if you have not even read the topic yet
Its still a considerable reply if you do ask me since he had a point that the team doesnt really give out any response or clarification on the issue whether they could give or provide some help or not
into those funds been sent out on bitcoin address
There is some similar incident about retrieving those coins back.
https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/8lwtru/i_recovered_my_litecoins_that_i_sent_to_bitcoin/
So sine  Bitvest does only have that access then possibly that they could do it.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 20, 2022, 11:28:17 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
Is Elon musk endorsing Shiba Inu? I don't think so, what happened to the success so far from Shiba Inu is still the same thing you promoting which is fomo (fear of missing out) on Shiba Inu, but playing the Dogecoin card, I don't think Shiba Inu would achieve the Great success Dogecoin had, and infact I don't think Dogecoin would repeat the success, meme coin to me a temporary and I don't see them as surviving for long.
That is totally different direction they have and Doge had might have the chance to survive as it was been in the market for many years, unlike Shiba Inu. It doesn't matter who endorses them but what it matters a lot is the usefulness of the projects and it was to see that they have different purposes for their creation but this dogecoin has been proven already and many Traders are currently using this.
But yes, they are not a good investment especially when we are aiming for the long-term, they are just good at hype.
Hodling a lot of Shiba Inu is like putting yourself into gambling. Although it was profitable when the market was still in a good position, but since the market has dump, meme coins like Dogecoin or Shiba Inu has always stay in their low value.  If you are really aiming for a huge profits in the future, do not compromise your investments into meme coins, invest on what you think will dominate the market when the bulls are back. Stick to bitcoin and established altcoins as they will never become out of trend.
Just let them be since its their money then its their actions and decision to make since they are really looking after some huge returns on short time as possible thats why they do really
aim or target on something which does have low value and then made out some significant profits if there would be some rise.We could say that those meme coins are trash but
once the market or community do recognized its existence and made out some sort of hype and interest then this is where value been mainly affected and
this is where people do hope for.
2177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: January 20, 2022, 10:29:41 PM
The best thing is to look after famous successful traders. I can not say that this can completely solve the problem, but partially for sure.
Not all the time that trader is going to have his wins.

A part of it maybe is true.

But if he falls and losses, you're also going to loss and that's what we're trying to avoid. Just like what the others are saying, it's better to have experience than it.

Your experience will make you better at looking for those alts before they might pump.
Once you do have some experience on dealing with this then you are much aware on where you should get in or get out but it wont really be precise as always since we know that
but once you do have that thing then you would be having edge compared to others since you do know on how to act.Right time is unknown since this market could move out
randomly neither having those sentiments around or doesnt really have any info or any signals or signs on early basis thats why it do differs on person to person.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 20, 2022, 09:31:34 PM
Congratulation you win all on parlays and how accurate your prediction, looks amazing because almost your betslips all winning from sport betting but you use parlay as your betting way. I think not all gambler will lucky with your because they can't win if using parlay always miss one or two games. I saw on your betslip many sport betting do you play and you have more knowledge about many betting sport, I only understand with football and not familiar with other sport betting.
Its true that winning on parlays isnt something that a gambler could able to hit the right spot considering that 1 lost of yours would really void out that chance on winning big but there are people
who do able to do so and that what makes them more far better on most gamblers because becoming profitable in gambling isnt something that someone could able to attain
specially on sports betting which does really require some knowledge and analysis towards things.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s energy use is just a rounding error compared to other industries on: January 20, 2022, 07:54:10 PM
Bitcoin energy usage can't be compared to other sectors such as mining and steel and the whole global energy calculation is an error but the anti Bitcoin crusaders are concerned about a small pinch in the big screen, Bitcoin energy consumption is not among the top 10 highest energy-consuming sectors in global energy rating, but Bitcoin energy and its effect on the environment have been the topic on many discussions.
You would really expect something like this on which whenever government doesnt really like something then no matter how small issue it would be then it would become big since it would really be emphasized and to those people who are really that die hard fans or followers would easily believed on but when you do make out some research then you would really able to realize that there are more
larger industries which is involved with this issue. It is just Bitcoin had really been emphasized specially if media does make its move which it isnt
really that surprising.
2180  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 20, 2022, 06:52:03 PM
The current Pandemic just makes our life harder, especially for those who aren't familiar with online earnings. And not many people are familiar with online earnings. Even we are few familiar with cryptocurrency there is no scope for new investment because if we don't have earnings then we can't think about investment. Not a good overall situation. Those who held Bitcoin for longer during the last waves were gainers. But seems current waves aren't much good even for cryptocurrency holders. Not sure when we would overcome the current Pandemic.

Yeah we know how hard to live while we are in state of pandemic but for financial reasons I think those people who struggle are those people who didn't have savings since most of the people rely that they have money to come and use their money for non sense thing that's why this crisis happening in the world will make people realize that its good to have savings and income generating venues so that they will not get broke once another crisis will hit in the world.
Would really sensible if you do really make out savings not just for investment purposes but rather for these emergency times specially on this current crisis that we are facing on.
Yes, it might not really that sound easy because there are people who do only earn sufficient for their daily living which they couldnt even allocate some extras
for them to save up which is a reality and even myself does have really a hard time on having savings due to those various reasons but if you are really that
eager then you could really push through.
