2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 08, 2021, 03:26:24 AM
Sixers and Knicks are playing very hard, but I think that Knicks has fallen short again (that's been the case in their last 3 games).

Net's too good for for the Pelicans, the lead balloon to 30 points. Impressive game from Durant and then Kyrie and surprisingly Aldridge doing the damage. It seems that LaMarcus will be the big difference for the Nets now, as he can post and still play the Center position and be dominant.
Aldridge changed when Durant was around.
It's like he is the pandemic that affected the performance of his teammates.
Combined with Kyrie, Harris, and KD as a threat on outside shots, players on the painted area will have an easy job to make a bucket.

How are we going to bet for the Nets now? The handicap will soar from -15 to -20.  Grin
You don't want to be betting for the underdogs against this strong team.
2162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2021, 02:11:12 PM
If my wife will make a comment here then she will prefer the other way.
Sell your Bitcoin for Gold.  Grin
Shiny little things that make the eyes glow whenever they glance at it. I am not a fan of it though.
Never had bling in my life, not even a damn good-looking watch.

So yeah, if it's me who will decide I'll sell all that gold for bitcoin without a bit of remorse. But my wife will stop me. No doubt.  Grin
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 07, 2021, 12:41:34 AM
The Nuggets are automatic to me.
I can't decide the bet whether for the Clippers or Trail Blazers.  Grin
It will be a close game and Portland would want to extend the gap between them and the Mavericks to be safe at the 6th rank.

Both teams came from a win. Yeah, the underdog wins.
Trail Blazers ML.

Good luck guys.
2164  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could the next bear market move bitcoin? on: April 06, 2021, 03:03:55 PM
When it comes to cryptocurrencies, there is no assurance it will stay at the same number except for stablecoins.
Your prediction could be right or not.

IMO, you are not alone with this kind of standpoint. A lot of small investors might have sold their Bitcoin at a lower price before it even went to this high amount.
Where are they? In the shadows lurking around waiting for the right time to buy it back.
It may happen but unlike before, it has lower chances.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 06, 2021, 12:18:21 PM
I think Dogecoin will explode again in 2022 and is not only used as a tip like before, but can actually be used for payments on a large scale,
Dogecoin may start trading at $ 5.5 during 2022. If DOGE manages to catch marketers' attention it could go up to $7. It might end 2022 at a trading price of $ 12.
I really hope that it can happening, let's hope and wait until it happen.

Nah, it's still used as tips even today the same as I have seen for the past four years in gambling areas. Casinos are always where you see DOGE tipped and rained. As much as I love it, have yet to see anyone actually ask for payment in DOGE (except in casinos as usual).

$12 per coin in 2022? I wouldn't mind but let's not get carried away:)

I have the same thought. Let's not expect much, for there are still others who are thinking like it's a garbage coin.
Elon Musk had been the only one who pumped it real hard. He may have his own purpose with that action but we can always just ride that wave for profit.
Doge is not a long-term investment, IMO.
Just take what you can and buy it back when it's cheap. It's also enjoyable to play with it in trading.  Grin A non-stop movement of few satoshis every second.

therefore my bet is under 213.5.

Damn, another loss, I guess I'll have to take a break for awhile, that's already 2 in a row.

Congrats to the winners last night. I like to say I'm impressed with the Nuggets, they come back and dominate the magic in the 2nd half, another impressive game by Gordon as well against his old team.
Bad first quarter for the Nuggets and the referee seems like he's out.
He was not calling fouls when Jokic was being harassed in the paint with all the slaps he is taking.  Grin
Almost got a T after the intentional foul against Ross. Afterward, ref got back from his blank state of mind.  Grin

Won 1 of 3. Lack 1 more 3 point fg for Porter Jr. prop but he did great.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 04, 2021, 11:49:50 AM
Early picks.
Nuggets -15.5 against the Magic
I don't know if it's worth the bet for others but it is for me.  Grin
Props for Michael Porter Jr. 3 points field goals (3+) and over 16.5 points.

It's risky for star props if the lead goes high. They might sit them down early.
Good luck guys.
2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the institutional coin on: April 03, 2021, 02:07:45 PM
No, I don't think so.
That is why we mostly witness private companies buying it in large amounts.
It's their own money and not as part of something else.

Someday it will still circulate if the usage will really happen. But, we can't just see it now.
I do use the gambling perspective to see the future and also for me to understand easily what will happen someday.
Gamblers using bitcoin as means to gamble and sites will pay in the same currency. Same thing as what is happening in the market. (wet or dry)  Grin
2170  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 02, 2021, 04:20:18 PM
A lot of big news incoming from these big companies.
But it still scares me if they really have the numbers in Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, good news for those countries being restricted by an exchange. They now have the purchasing power that will scatter the Bitcoin around leaving the institutional investors to doubt about manipulating the Bitcoin market.

I would still recommend if you are the one keeping it instead of a third party.
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 02, 2021, 07:43:26 AM
I only take the top 10 in the ranking. Liking the Jazz and Nets as they stay consistent, whiel 76ers also have some great performance despite missing Embiid.
Yeah, I watched the 76ers a lot of times trying to analyze how they can still win the game without Embiid.
There is actually a simple answer. The floor had been spread more unlike last year.

With Danny Green and Seth Curry being a threat in the 3 point field, Harris and Simmons can move freely and attack the paint.
Howard stats is the best product at 18 points and 15 rebounds against the Cavs. This team is for sure a championship contender, better than how they are against the Raptors losing at the lucky shot of Kawhi.

2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 01, 2021, 02:52:02 AM
Fxxxing Knicks screwed me over yet again losing by 1 vs absolute garbage and missing out to score on the last 3 possessions (and losing a 11 point lead in the 4th).

Get these trash teams out of that league.
They were outscored only in the fourth quarter.
Bad performance from the Knicks. All they need is to preserve the lead but they got careless at those last minutes of the game.

Another upset is the Raptors losing against the Thunders. Damn, I was rekt at that game. Aron Baynes with 0 points for 21 minutes.  Angry

Doubts of buying never fade away up until now.
They have a lot of reasons for doing so. Before, "there is no future for Bitcoin". Now, "It's too expensive". For some, "It's too risky", "Volatility is a pain in the a*s".
It seems like they will never run out of reasons until regret sinks in.  Grin
My one and only tip for them, better late than never.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2021, 02:36:12 AM
Any early picks? Where's Reid? I noticed you are not anymore sharing your pick here, are you taking a little break buddy?
Sorry, had been busy recently.
I already made my order and it's the usual.  Grin

Denver Nuggets -5.5
Over 219.5

Aaron Gordon's Nuggets debut is looking great. 13 points already at 3rd quarter.

LaMarcus Aldridge has decided to sign with the Brooklyn Nets!

They might be the most stacked team in history. If the Lakers don’t pick up Drummond I’m not sure any other team in the NBA has a chance. This Nets squad could probably take down the 2016 Warriors...

Edit: Damn, got beat posting the news by a few seconds!
I dont know where they get all of this money from out of nowhere. They are building a mostrum of a team. I havent seen anything like this.
Nets have always been one of the worst teams in the nba now out of nowhere the making the biggest team in history of basketball

Nets is -$53.2M upon acquiring Harden. Then they signed Griffin with a veteran minimum contract.
Now Aldridge. I don't see any record yet of how much was offered. But, it may just also be a minimum contract for they will be paying a lot of luxury tax if they go higher.
Nets management is doing everything to take the championship. That's a lot of money on the line, I hope they will fulfill their goal this year.
They can let some players go when KD is fully healed.

2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin will be bought by new people? on: March 27, 2021, 12:01:00 PM
When I was a newbie it was Bitcoin that I was looking for.
But that was years ago. Altcoins are really not that popular at that time and I really have no idea about them.

This era is different. They could start from anywhere. It could be Ethereum or even BNB first since they need it to buy another coin they prefer.
It could also be one of the reasons why BNB is having success right now. They extended their way into marketing their coin instead of just the exchange itself.
