21601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how the development of bitcoin in your country? on: February 26, 2016, 03:30:25 AM
it looks to me that more people are starting to notice bitcoin these days, especially since the price has been going up. i have been seeing more chatter about bitcoin these days on other forums that i visit (in my language)
21602  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN to the moon" on: February 26, 2016, 03:24:54 AM
It will reach to the moon in future for sure but not in this year, we need to wait for a long time, as halving is on the way but it doesn't guarantee us that the value would reach the moon in the same year.

Exactly, price would be around $600 I guess after the halving but very interesting to see what would be the price after halving as no one is so sure where it would land after the halving.

$600 is not the expected "big" rise from halving, $600 is a normal rise in my opinion so it is not going to down from that price.
it is $1000 and more that is considered the big rally and the price goes down after that.
21603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: arbitrage trading software on: February 26, 2016, 03:20:21 AM
cryptopia.co.nz is an altcoin exchanger that has a section on arbitrage trading, but it is just offering you the different prices on different exchanges to see if it is profitable.
21604  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is faucet profitable ? on: February 26, 2016, 03:15:45 AM
faucets are not profitable at all, it is just waste of time.

but i have been using them for some time just to cover my transaction fees, i accumulate just as much as a single transaction fee 20K, 30K satishi and then transfer to my address in order to have only one more input that covers tx fee.
21605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bot on: February 25, 2016, 05:24:58 AM
~~~
There is no one that can guarantee that you will profit when using a bot. And if they are they are full of BS.
I want to build a bot that trades automatically on a hourly basis. I was thinking of a monthly subscription around $20. But If it losses you money then you don't pay.
The trading info is available to everyone for free but if you want the bot to trade automatically then you have to pay for the subscription.
That way I will use the money to continusly improve the service and you will earn money.
A win-win situation.
interesting idea. especially the part that you don't have to pay if you don't profit from the bot. i have one question.
how is the bot going to work?
- is it just using Exchanger API and the user sets the trades
- or will it find it on its own and trade for you
- or is it going to analyze the market and suggest best options that user can choose
nonetheless i am interested to see how it is going to work
21606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The thing that will destroy Bitcoin. on: February 25, 2016, 05:17:21 AM
i think nothing can destroy bitcoin easily. there has been a lot of problems in the past like in the beginning people didn't trust it and called it ponzi and later there were all the hacks, gox,... but bitcoin had survived all of them. so i guess in the future any problem is solvable, even if it is big.
21607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 05:13:57 AM
Join some free and legit earning sites, like faucets, cloud mining, bitlander, and start making referrals, this is a good method to earn some bitcoin without any hard work. Just set and see growing of your bitcoin. Lol..
no pain no gain.
if you don't work hard, you are not going to earn as much either. as we all know faucets, cloudmining, and all other similar earning methods are just wasting time for the smallest amount of earning. you have to fill in captchas in a faucet for hours and hours in a day just to earn 1 cent.
21608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What strategy you use to trade bitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 05:09:19 AM
What strategy you use to trade bitcoin?
my strategy is to buy and hold as much as i can afford to invest. and i have bought bitcoin over the past year at lower prices and i am planning on holding it at least for five years.
21609  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [POLL] Opinion about BTER? on: February 25, 2016, 04:28:04 AM
i used to use them before the hack but fortunately i did not have much investment in their website, but after the hack i left them because i can't trust them anymore.
whenever there is such big hack, to me, it means they are either lying which means they are scammers or it means they are incompetent and can not protect their assets.
21610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: February 24, 2016, 05:41:03 AM
bitcoin is on a right track now, so if it continues down this track for the next 10 years i expect that bitcoin will be used by more than 85% of the people all over the world and consequently the price of bitcoin will be so much higher than what it is right now.
21611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 24, 2016, 05:20:58 AM
This sentence makes no sense to me. Stating that "Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin" is the same as "Storing of GOLD is against GOLD". The purpose of a currency is to facilitate trades AND be a useful value storage tool.
The idea behind it is how one looks at bitcoin. As a speculative asset you hold just to increase your wealth? Or as a currency people use daily. There's nothing wrong with holding bitcoin. Just that there are a lot people viewing it as an asset such as gold. Bitcoin is not meant to be an asset, it is meant to be used as a currency. That is why OP says that storing bitcoin is against the purpose of bitcoin
i agree. there is nothing wrong with storing (hodling) bitcoin.
although bitcoin was meant to be used as a currency, it is still in its early stages and since the price is not at all stable, most of the usage is as an investment.
but in time (which is not now) this will change and bitcoin will become a currency.
21612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a pizza guy laugh today. on: February 24, 2016, 05:15:47 AM
it is good to see others try for adding more real life usage for bitcoin in our day to day lives. although i didn't get what laugh part was though!
reading the topic i though it is a story of telling the pizza guy to accept bitcoin and him laughing and saying what is bitcoin Smiley but it looks like it was the other way around
21613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bit-bug, hardcore btc fan and believer of financial world will collaps on: February 24, 2016, 05:08:45 AM
i am a big believer in bitcoin, so i always say that the future of bitcoin is going to be so bright but never go as far as saying financial world will collapse and bitcoin replaces it.
anyways, even if bitcoin won't replace fiat and government currencies, it is going to grow and reach that mass adoption point some day in the future.
21614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin close to $600 before summer starts! Even much higher levels coming. on: February 24, 2016, 05:02:30 AM
the $3500 seems to me like a big and far away target to reach, but it is not impossible for bitcoin if the rally comes. but nevertheless i believe that the rise is inevitable and so i am prepared and watching the market movements closely.
21615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 23, 2016, 09:52:22 AM
Nice statistics.
But where is the loss?
Yeah I'd like to see top 20 PD losers list  Cool
AKCoin would be on top of that list for sure...
Yeah i think so his loss is huge 812 btc. i just hope that 812 btc was his play money otherwise he got screwed well.
AK is up 500+ btc after he lost . he not stop is up his play end of lost.
Yaa... Much won then lost Sad life is loss
i am also interested to see the top ten losers on primedice with their stats. although i don't think it is a good idea for their business to release such information since it can be discouraging Smiley
21616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you be interested in a bitcointalk lottery? on: February 23, 2016, 09:47:43 AM
This isn't a bad idea, but there is already too many forum-based lottery game that failed miserably.
exactly this^^
i don't know about miserably but i have seen many topics in this section about lottery on the forum and none of them stayer around and many of them could not get any attention at all, use search to find them.
i think lottery is better be done on a website rather than forum and escrow and live drawing of the winning number and streaming the video is a must have.
21617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's next steps? on: February 23, 2016, 09:37:59 AM
i think the first step is up to us (the current bitcoin users) to introduce bitcoin to others. i have personally done that many times, some accept and some don't care.
but as others have pointed out, until some big services and other merchants start accepting bitcoin there is not much moving forward for bitcoin towards mass adoption.
21618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 13 ways to watch the price of Bitcoin on: February 23, 2016, 09:34:29 AM
Great info thanks!  I like preev.com and will check out some that you listed.
i think preev.com and preev.net that op listed is different right? both have similar layout and feature but it's different.
what i like on preev.net it's have additional feature like a signature verifier and several educational bitcoin page linked to official bitcoin site.
it's simple but i still love to watch bitcoin price on coindesk chart Cheesy
this topic looks to me like an advertisement of preev (dot) net and not the one that we have already been using preev.COM and newbie account with only 2 post and another with only 1 post saying the .net is the best makes me suspicious, but maybe it is just me!!
21619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: February 23, 2016, 09:26:34 AM
you can try to invest at btcjam, i think on btc jam have good interest and safe
WORST.. INVESTMENT EVER! You better lend on this forum with a collateral than to a lending site full of scammers! I know I am not the only one experienced a lot loss on that site.
any kind of business or investment you plan to do, there will be some people that you encounter who will try and scam you.
so lending on btcjam is not any different, you just have to learn to take risks and learn the ways to minimize  these risks in order to have less loss and better profits over time.
21620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving has already Begun, Yes or No? on: February 23, 2016, 09:20:15 AM
i think the rise from around $300 up until now was partly because of the effect of halving. so i have to say it has already begun but many believe that the main effect of halving is going to be another rally which is obviously not yet happened.
