2181  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoSec.info is now ChainSec.io on: March 10, 2023, 08:58:02 AM
The site contains useful information, but at least try a little with the interface, and indirect promotion of ledger may lose your credibility. I am not saying that there is a problem with promotion, but put a clear statement that this part is paid advertising.
What is the reason for choosing the new name? The old name sounds better.
2182  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PeachBitcoin P2P mobile app on: March 10, 2023, 08:21:31 AM
It is difficult to trust them, especially since they do not have a web application. All the service is done by downloading a closed-source app, which makes me doubt the percentage of their trading volumes, or the inability to impose identity verification in the future, or at least sell user data.

I have no legal experience, but it is impossible for a company registered in Switzerland not to provide financial services without verifying identity or requesting user data.
2183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance.US again in trouble | SEC continues to harass offshore presence on: March 10, 2023, 06:59:35 AM
Grey already has a bad past with the way they conduct business. When someone is flagged under a financial domain then they must not be trusted again ever. It’s also but obvious that such large entity with billions of dollars getting transacted just like that can have fishy business easily. You never know where the money is going and coming from unless and until your business books are perfectly clear.

He will not agree to work for them, the successor of the economic man, far from central financing, and therefore he will contradict himself, but if Binance is serious about hiring him, then this means that they are ready to do everything to attract more customers.
To see how things go in the future.
2184  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand Challenges for a Piece of the Crypto Pie By Waiving Taxes on: March 09, 2023, 11:12:57 AM
According to what I understood from the article, they will not be taxed through the Initial Coin Offerings, but it does not mean complete exemption from taxes, and therefore they are correct. They lose a billion, but they attract an industry that may generate billions. The decisive point is how to protect the depositors’ money, which I do not know how they will do.

Personally, I do not like laws that give a lot of tolerance to alternative currencies and do not set a clear framework for Bitcoin and Cexs/
2185  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Website on: March 09, 2023, 11:03:31 AM
i am web developer from india
i usally create crypto and airdrop related website
if anyone want to create there own presale website or Crypto Website Or Any Other type of website then you can message me on Telegram

MY Telegram Link is https://telegram.me/jayminat
Can you provide a portfolio explaining all the websites you've designed, the programming languages you're fluent in, and what you can do and pay per hour?
Asking users to message you on Telegram is not a wise move, you are a website developer and therefore it was necessary to show your skills first, at least to have a personal website in which you update your work periodically.
2186  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Legitimate and sincere dealers grow fast in business/trade. on: March 09, 2023, 10:19:35 AM
You can scam a person once, but a fool is one who is deceived many times, so scammers rarely has a long record, but only deceives once and hides, while the trader has a long record, that long record is not 100% good, but the good activities outweigh the bad.
Thus trust is built over time and not just a random person you deal with.
As for the new person who will join the market, he must trust the old members, and so on.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: Ripple CEO Says Crypto Industry Has to Rebuild Trust on: March 09, 2023, 10:13:56 AM
Ripple is the company that will benefit the most from regulation because their business model is completely centralized and will target lower fees between transfers similar to what happens in central banks, so maybe regulation will remove a lot of competitors for them.

I do not think that you need to rebuild confidence because when the price rises, everyone will return to trading again, and when the price collapses, they will find an excuse, as it was in the past, of Bitcoin being a bubble or a Ponzi scheme.

This does not preclude the development of regulations for Cexs.
2188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 09, 2023, 06:26:01 AM
Trust Wallet, the most common nowadays is widely used and also I use it to store my trading crypto assets. use is quite simple and for beginners, I'm sure there will be no disturbance. easy access from the most profitable smartphone.
but for long-term storage of Bitcoins, a hardware wallet would be preferable. Ledger will be suitable for you to use.

If you want the best bitcoin wallet, this guide will help you ----> https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
But if you are looking for altcoins then buying a hardware wallet is the best option.

It is better to avoid using this wallet for large amounts, as it is closed source and linked in one way or another with Binance, and therefore there is a possibility that something will happen to it if Binance stops working.
2189  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is Crypto Payment Gateway? on: March 09, 2023, 06:19:41 AM
There are many crypto payment gateways available and people are using them according to their needs. But what according to you is an ideal crypto payment gateway?
You do not determine the ideal option, but rather the nature and model of your business that determines. In the end, when you create a business, you aim for profit, whether it is directly by reducing expenses, number of employees, operating costs, withdrawal and deposit fees, or indirectly, such as customer service, and improving its experience.
The open-source options are good for dealing with small activities, as a simple technical experience can reduce your fees to a large extent, but the larger the project, the more you need paid software.
2190  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to pay less fee’s on coinbase in UK. on: March 09, 2023, 05:58:39 AM
Not sure if this is common knowledge to most but thought I would post just incase as I am sure there are many newbies out there like myself paying way more on fee’s then they need to.
In the past, Using XRP pair greatly reduced trading fees and withdrawal fees, but I see that they decided to delisted it[1], and therefore USDT may be the appropriate option to avoid price fluctuations and ease of liquidation for all currency pairs, but it is certainly not the cheapest.

Personally, I see that the trading and withdrawal fees are not large, especially for those who want to trade and win a lot, and paying part of the money as a fee is better than losing it due to hacking or the bankruptcy of the platform.

2191  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another sim swap scam on: March 09, 2023, 05:19:23 AM
It seems like a desperate attempt from him to get his money back or at least force Coinbase to track down the scammers who stole his coins. After all, Coinbase has a huge database and you can provide him with more information, but isn't it logical to delete this option since it is no longer safe?
I do not remember the last time I entered my phone number for a site or platform, and therefore this method should not be used except in a limited range.
2192  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 08, 2023, 12:08:59 PM
I believe that bearing costs is the reason why a person prefers one country over another. Good medical care will not be free, and then you may not be able to afford it, especially for individuals in the middle and poor classes. There are also consequences after the operation, such as care in the first months, medicines and other costs.

Also, some countries are better in certain disciplines, this chart may give you better information, although I am surprised at the reason for choosing Mexico, perhaps because of the flight costs)

2193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hodlnaut prefers selling the company to liquidation on: March 08, 2023, 11:19:18 AM
I don't know how much these companies are exposed to each other, but really what are they doing with depositors' money? An attempt of greed for quick profit and giving high interest rates is not supposed to be chaotic in this way, and therefore, until regulation comes, people must suffice using the platforms for trading while withdrawing any amount that they do not owe for trading. As for the idea of lending, staking, etc., the only loser in it is the depositor, because if any bankruptcy applications take several years and you may not get your money (if happen)
2194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying lost wallet.dat files on: March 08, 2023, 10:55:58 AM
is it worth buying lost wallet.dat files? did anyone succeed moving funds from them?
Would someone consider selling their money for a much lower value than that money? Even if the purpose is money laundering (which is an illegal activity), the methods used are a little sophisticated.

Therefore, everyone who tries to say that you can buy wallets and then sell them to achieve a good return is trying to sell you something that is mostly fraud or illegal, and in the end you may not only lose your money, but also get yourself into legal problems that end up in prison.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blur price speculation and discussion on: March 08, 2023, 10:07:05 AM

My calculation is this, if I invest into something, how much return would it give me, and what is the potential that it has? I could easily say that Blur was something people gave up, proven by the price it is right now, so it doesn't have that much potential in my eyes.

Their estimates for the next year is a tenfold increase in the market capacity, which means an increase in the price to $4. Let us assume that we are very optimistic and the price will be $6, which is an ideal forecast, while the expectations of its work like Bitcoin now are 20 thousand and within 4 years it may be 100K, which means 5 double. So the ratio is 10 times to 12 times at best, compared to 4 times for Bitcoin as a measure that is not ideal.

In short, it is not the best investment, and the idea of the NFT is no longer as revolutionary as it was in the past, and therefore even promises of the highest are considered impossible.
2196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance.US again in trouble | SEC continues to harass offshore presence on: March 08, 2023, 09:55:40 AM
CZ experimenting to hire Gensler seems funny. i would really see this like he was bribing Gensler lol is tempting because the guy is corrupt to the bones.

Am I the only one who thinks that trying to hire Gary Gensler is a red flag? Isn't the platform trying to hide something, or trying to evade something, or at least trying to whitewash its image in front of legislators?

Here is another quote for their attempt to circumvent US scrutiny:

Quote
Despite announcing that it would stop accepting U.S. customers on its global platform, Binance officials discussed how to keep them. In a Telegram chat in June 2019, an employee noted that over 18% of page views on Binance.com were from U.S. users. Samuel Lim, then Binance’s compliance chief, suggested ways to retain the largest U.S. clients, including encouraging them to use a VPN to appear to be located in another country
They are definitely trying to hide a lot of things.
2197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 08, 2023, 09:35:19 AM
It varies from one to another but it is depend on the child’s willingness to deal with money, profits and losses.
what is most frightening is that the child’s psyche is affected by trading so that he becomes frustrated if he loses or euphoria and waste money if he wins, so it is better to ask him to learn using modeling, which enables you to trade with money It is not true, and thus developing his skills while learning some skills that enable him to generate income, and then, after he is ready, he can start trading.

about legal if your child cant open account before 18 then it it is illegal to trade, some CEXs will not allow him to start trading.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about token's price when a listing takes place on: March 08, 2023, 09:21:00 AM

- The tokens had never been listed on any exchange (CEX or DEX)
- There was a coming listing on Bitmart, the first time that the token would be tradable :

Circulating supply :
3 700 000 tokens divided into :
Liquidity :  2 500 000 tokens  and,
Marketing :  1 200 000 tokens.

These indicators do not look good in general, as the lack of listing on any good platform makes the price very centralized, and therefore high fluctuations without ease in executing orders, especially since they will be listed on unknown platforms that may manipulate prices in order to lose your money.

Also, the number of tokens allocated for marketing, which represents about 1/3 of the tokens, is not a good indicator. Mostly, marketing is after a maximum of 20% and not 33%, and this means that once listed, there will be great liquidity on the part of the developers and on the part of the people who collected the coins in the marketing and promotion.
2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education is the key but knowledge is padlock on: March 05, 2023, 08:36:56 PM
I am sorry for your loss, but before you invest in anything, you must search on your own, and this does not only include searching on Google, but rather an attempt to find out the defects from independent parties, and thus ensure that you will not be defrauded as your friend did.
Also, all investments are personal behavior, and when you trust someone with your investment, it is often an organized entity.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Our thoughts on Solana currently? on: March 05, 2023, 01:51:38 PM
I don't really have a clear understanding why people love Solana. Sure, i have used it and keep using it as i make money from NFT markets, so it serves a purpose but i am not a fan.
For two reasons, low fees and fast confirmations, but I don't know why they ignore the major flaws in this platform, especially the issue of excessive centralization.
Overall Polygon is a good choice for many but for NFT lovers SOL still has a good reputation.
I stopped using them a few months ago but Magic Eden is a good competitor to OpenSea.
