Is this on any trade markets?

An R9 280X has been added to the hardware comparison page. With OpenGL, it's either as good as the original 7970s or better. At this point, it seems to be way better than the 7970s. It looks like whatever they changed has fixed the original 7970 issues. https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparisonI get 750 kh/s with my Sapphire 7970s (w/ default firmware, 1080 engine, 1500 mem, I 13) They're getting 740 kh/s on the 280x at 1100/1500. Obviously the same chip...so I wouldn't expect much different I suppose...but still a bit disappointing. The driver is in beta still, so you can say it's a fail yet. HD 7970 is a mature product and the R9 280X is still in it infancy. The price is the same as any other HD 7970 and will eventually drop over time.

Well i have free power so... depends i guess.
Hope your not stealing it....Are you getting solar power? Or you at a college dorm that includes utilities? Or at a company using mining as a way to test hardware? I'm also interested to know too, I find it so hard to reduce my electricity bills. Just use your electricity during off peak hours and partial peak hours, that should help. Look at your electric bill for that info. Nothing is free in life.

It's a felony and imprisonment plus fines....
That is if you could know it's me. I might be stealing it from your house off of someone else for me I doubt that, I have security cameras and watch my PG&E meter reading...

People have to remember that AMD made these GPU cards primarily for gaming and HD content, not mining. If they did make one on mining, I bet they can make GPU cards just as efficient as the rumored fpga scrypt miners. Gaming/HD market > Mining market in overall profits....Gamers buy more games and miners just mine, which only the electricity company gains profit.

Just as the stated subject title? Which one?

I would suggest only CPU mining it at this point
So, is the cpu miner only run with sse3 and/or avx? Is there a ssse3 cpu miner for cpr?

It's going to happen eventually, but they would make a public announce if it does. Just don't believe it will happen sooner in the near future.

interestingly, its price will rise above 0.000001 after after the store Possibly, e-cig's is a potential market. Wait and see. I'm still hold my TIX until is get to that value or at least .0000005. ...or you could double it, using skill!! at altholdem I quit gambling years ago....Not my thing anymore...LOL

Is it still worth it to buy GPUs and create a GPU farm (prolly no more than 5) To mine Altcoins (using multipool) ?
I currently just mine with a single GPU and get about 300 KH/s so either want to stop or go bigger xD
Wait for R9-290x and see if its really much better for mining. If that card can use under 200 watts, then it might be worth it.

Why GPU mining decreased by a factor of 2
It will slowly decrease to even smaller each time the nFactor shifts, eventually putting this as a CPU only coin. The GPU mining right now is just like an early adopter's bonus At this rate, probably with this week it will not be profitable to mine with GPU hardware. Hopefully the value of TIX goes up once it's only CPU mining efficient. CPR bottom out pretty fast once GPU mining wasn't efficient and now is just flat on trading. CPR has a very specific use. Apparently TIX has some e-cig shop coming soon or something, too. I am personally holding these for now until the triple digits I like the concept of CPR, don't get me wrong, but wish it had a little more usages like TIX. I like TIX, really is coming into it's own, just hope the market keeps reflecting that.

my miner said share is above the target again how to fix it
Lower your TC and Worksize to 128 or 64 first. If that doesn't work, lower your intensity. I run a TC of 8000, worksize=64 and intensity of 18, that runs fine for me with no errors.

GPU mining efficiency just dropped big time. Still a lot to get but it's going down quick
Dropped about 40% to 50%.... That's the point of scrypt-jane. It's made to be CPU coin by the time the rewards go flat I know, just wanted to relay the info out to people. Probably in a week, it's not going to yield on the positive side of gains.

Update 9/1/2013 - We have just had another re-adjustment and GPU mining has dropped roughly 30% in efficiency. Hurry and get your CPR before it's too late to use your GPUWe designed this coin to be mined in conjunction with Spots and took the complete opposite approach when it came to parameters. Spots is a Scrypt coin made to be mined with GPU's, while Copper Bars are Scrypt-Jane and meant to be mined with CPU's. This will allow you to mine both coins concurrently and double your precious metals profits! Spots is a slow block time coin that rewards 49 Spots per block. Copper Bars will be fast blocks with small rewards. This will attract miners that like slow, big numbers, as well as the people that prefer fast, frequent payouts. Copper Bars will be used to purchase...imagine that, copper bars and coins on iGotSpots.com - We were going to take an already established currnecy, but since Spots launed so well and so smoothly, we decided to make our own that will be mined at the same time as Spots. It's the first package deal coin, so let's do this! Copper Bars (CPR) - NO PREMINE - NO INSTAMINE - NO BULLSHITScrypt-Jane 16 Second Blocks .0064 Block Reward x 80 Billion Blocks for 512 Million total Coins NO SUPERBLOCKS AT ALL 1% Stake with 365 Days of Coin Age Required, 730 days for full weight RPC Port = 7873 P2P Port = 7874 Copper Bars Pool
