2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some of the legalities behind hosting an offshore casino? on: September 16, 2022, 02:58:57 PM
Gambling is not legalized in your country, then why looking for a means to make it possible to establish a gambling site in your country. It is not advisable for you, there are other lucrative businesses you can look into to establish which are legal in the country you are residing.
Exactly, plus even if you find a way around it maybe via suggestions you get here and able to go ahead with your plan to set up the casino, there's another challenge you stand to face which is getting local users to use the services of your casino, because even if you may get users, they will not be as much as when gambling is legalized and there are no strict laws to restricting people from engaging fully. So yes again, it will not be a lucrative business in your current environment.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 16, 2022, 01:44:47 PM
Gram Potter can only fix Chelsea team when he introduce another strategies for the player, the first match he leads at 77 minutes Salzburg equalize the match. The only thing he should do is buy more strikes because Chelsea lack strike...
Are you suggesting he gets more players, Chelsea has already spent the highest this season on transfer, Aubumeyang and Sterling with the likes of the other players they have striking up front with them are okay for Graham Potter to sprinkle his magic, if he really has any. My major concern for the new players that just joined the team is whether they will fit into his playing ideology since he was not the one who handpicked and brought them to the club.

Congratulations to Arteta on being named the premier league coach of the month of AUGUST, very well deserved IMO.

Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued?
There was a particular period when I was pressed for funds and followed blindly anything that I saw had the potential to give me quick money. I was young an widely inexperienced. I got a tip from a friend about a fixed game, which in his word were "sure odds". I played the game with all the money I had, an amount way more than I would usually spend gambling whenever I seldom play. I knew I was going over my limit, but the thought of me winning from the fixed game, the sure odds...lol, kept me going.

And Manchester United have made it 0:2 in the first half of the game so far, Jadon Sancho with the opening goal in 17 minutes and Ronaldo converted a penalty kick to a goal in the 39th minute to give Manchester United a comfortable lead in this game against FC Sheriff.
Ronaldo very much needed that goal, he has gone a while this season in all competitions without being able to hit the net. Many people think the celebration he put up after scoring the penalty was unnecessary because of the team they played plus the fact that it was a penalty and not a regular goal. But for me, I think the celebration was more like a show of joy that he had broken the deadlock and maybe we should expect more from him, and I certainly do.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 06:26:16 PM
That goal deserved a celebration, from the assist to the finish,
I didn't talk much about the assist, It deserved as much commendation as the goal itself, it was a world class delivery from Cancelo, the kind of assist that we usually see from Luka Modrić. With the likes of Haaland in front of goal to finish up passes, midfielders and other players with the special ability of floating ball into that goal area will have more confidence doing so knowing that there is a capable finisher upfront.

2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin all over news so not unknown fiction anymore on: September 15, 2022, 04:26:12 PM
Bitcoin ads are everywhere. It's completely mainstream now.
I wouldn't say so exactly, you may think it is completely mainstream, but will be surprised that there are still places where there are no ads and very limited media, and in those areas, people still have no idea what bitcoin is even if the icon is shown to them. Do not relent, still take it a responsibility to yourself to educate and talk about bitcoin to people you can, where you can and when you can. As members of this forum, a forum that has bitcoin as it subjects, it has to remain our responsibility to continue to talk about bitcoin.

And 5G network brought covid 19.
I've stopped reading at this point.
I still wonder how people can believe this. OP, a brief research into the 5G network would have corrected this false knowledge that you seem to have accepted and will spare you the embarrassment associated with misinformation.

Please take your time OP to read this publication, so you can have a better understanding: COVID-19, 5G conspiracies and infrastructural futures
2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 14, 2022, 10:58:21 PM
Manchester city rose in the last minute.
How can we not talk about this goal and Haalaand?

Many players will use their heads, very few players will opt to use their legs! Very remarkable goal scoring ability... reminds me of Ibrahimovic in his prime. Haalaand will definitely break a lot of football records both in the UCL & EPL with his very sharp goal scoring ability. I think in front of goal currently in this champions League, his competition so far in scoring razor sharp goals has been Mbappe. Manchester City finally have a chance with him to win this UCL.

As for Chelsea, I don't want to really discuss their matter, lol...I just think they are not really very serious this season. They should just try to qualify for the next UCL again, so they can try again, because even if they somehow manage to go past the group stages, they will not make it to the finals with the kind of form these other clubs are currently on.
2190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The description of the Topic Starter (OP) Hidden on: September 14, 2022, 10:33:08 PM
On the first topic I read after the update I thought the topic starter had changed their username to include (op)
Cheesy On the first topic I read after the update, I noticed the "OP" on the comment section first and thought it meant "off topic", that is like an indication that that comment was Off topic, and was eligible for deleting by the moderator, not until I saw that it was also put beside the username that started the topic and that the individual behind the username had also replied to someone's comment on the thread and that was why I saw OP first in the comment section. I use the abbreviation as well formerly, so I knew the meaning immediately.

or whether it'll fit there well on mobile...
It fits just fine on my mobile.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 14, 2022, 10:06:42 PM
Am I the only person here thinking Fury is absolutely 100% serious about wanting this fight to go ahead but Joshua is dragging his heels?
It is better for Joshua to drag his heels, I think he was too quick to give fury the impression on social media that he was down for this fight. There's a lot for him at risk especially his career and he has to think really hard before giving a concrete decision. On the twist side of his dwindling career, a victory in this fight may just be a resuscitation to his record after suffering successive defeats. Fury is a big name in the fighting industry but he is not impossible to beat, Joshua just has to work harder and go harder if he truly has agreed to the fight.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the blockchain be hacked? Ask again. on: September 14, 2022, 09:41:07 PM
Can you be more specific which blockchain you're referring to? Is it okay to assume it's Bitcoin?
Not exactly an assumption but, if you went through the information on source link I provided, you would see that the article concerns "decentralized internet" and when the topic of decentralization is brought forth the first pointer as one of the successful model of decentralization is cryptocurrency and when blockchain is mentioned in that regards, what that comes to mind is that of bitcoin. I believe if reference was made to another Blockchain, it would have been mentioned. Also you would notice that the quoted sentence is a harvest from Medium, I tried to see if I could get to the source article on Medium but I couldn't so I had to generally ask here for people's thoughts.
2193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Opened another business were I accept Bitcoin on: September 14, 2022, 09:24:05 PM
Congratulation OP on starting your new business. But as you know, it is not just about starting a new business in addition to the one you already have but being able to manage both of them successfully. Expansion in business always requires an extra level of commitment. You must also realise that as you have made your business a centerpoint for exchange of cryptocurrency, you have also become targets for scammers and people who may want to try out schemes to try to fool you or your staff. Prepare yourself and staff for such individuals, so you don't have a bitter experience.
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can the blockchain be hacked? Ask again. on: September 13, 2022, 10:33:19 PM
A recent discussion brought up in my locale board lead me to this little striking detail from my research that holds a contrary opinion to what most know about the blockchain.
Quote
Blockchain isn’t totally foolproof — there are a few ways that it can be hacked. “If 51% of the network of miners, or of work done by miners, is bribed to alter the ledger, this can result in corruption and incorrectness in the ledger.” Additionally, if one of the nodes of the blockchain network is disabled and it cannot communicate, it may be compromised
SOURCE

This is not to undermine the strength of the blockchain technology and make it less of what it is, but for us to discuss the possibility of this happening and the credibility of this information.

Kindly share your opinion.

However, rent-seeking centralized corporations have taken advantage of this free flow of information to monetize user data and habits, despite the undeniable fact that Web2 has offered users significant advantages. The demand for a web that developers and users control has increased, primarily due to a breakdown of trust, user exploitation and data control.
There are many PROS nd CONS to the decentralized internet, and it is good to put them in consideration when discussing its adoption.

There is a security advantage it provides, in the sense that a decentralized internet will be less susceptible to attacks particularly the Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Attack,

There is also a disadvantage to it,
Quote
A decentralized internet also leads to a decentralized domain name system. The DNS server translates website names that a user types in into an IP address and connects to the host. Attacks on these servers can cause epic problems — large internet outages and lack of access to services like Github. Not to mention data storage hacks, which allow for massive data breaches.

2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 13, 2022, 09:46:52 PM
Nowadays most casinos has KYC, but i don't think that is enough to stop the money laundering, what casinos should do is to investigate the source of the deposits to fight against this illegal activity, but that will not happen because is a win-win game from them.

So, what do you say, does crypto casinos really care about money laundering?
Crypto casinos definitely care about Money Laundering as they are also casinos and are subject to enforce AML & KYC regulations to avoid penalties that can cripple their business. They may not make it too strict so as not to scare away some customers who may be wondering the importance of these details, but they must show a level of compliance to prevent being shut down by the people in charge of ensuring that AML & KYC RULES are enforced.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 13, 2022, 09:15:52 PM
I wasn't impressed by Tottenham Hotspur in the slightest way,
Conte played all his good players, but still couldn't get the win. The final 10 minutes of the game was tense, Sporting were very persistent and confident in their attack so much that even after heir first goal in the 90th minute, they didn't give Tottenham a chance to pull off a late equalizer to still claim a point from this game, but they went for the second goal and got it just 2 minutes after their first. They haven't won an English team in a while, so this victory means a lot to them.

Liverpool and Ajax...
I knew that the way Ajax were retreating and started defending in the final minutes of the game was going to cost them a goal, and it did. The goal would not have come had they continued to attack and not give the Liverpool side any opportunity to get pull themselves together. That was a very important goal that Matip scored for the team and coach, but I still don't see this Liverpool side as a team that will win the UCL this season, they are still unconvincing.

Bayern has proven it again that the can do it over and again even without Lewa.
Smart game from Bayern, they got a  first goal, didn't relax there but went ahead to get another, and then fell back to defense. Barcelona didn't have luck on their side, they missed many good opportunities (the likes of Lewandoski and Pedri) to even get one goal in the game. They started the first half well, and to say they couldn't even get a goal in this game is very unbelievable also due to their current form. Barcelona still have a good chance to qualify from their group.
2198  Economy / Economics / Re: How lipstick and underwear can predict the economy on: September 13, 2022, 04:03:14 PM
It is known that younger generations have achieved a far higher degree of crypto market participation and mass adoption, in contrast to older generations. Perhaps there are indirect trends for that age group which directly correlate to future crypto buying and selling predictions? Seasons with weak video game rollouts, might see elevated crypto purchasing. A significant span of time with no new iphone or android products might also see elevated crypto purchasing volume.

What do younger generations spend their disposable income on. And how can it tie in to future crypto price fluctuations.

Young people also spend their disposable income in purchase of recreational drugs for themselves and their peers, a decline in the purchase of recreational drugs in young people can also signal a better usage of their disposable income, which is an elevated crypto purchasing volume.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2022, 06:58:51 PM
It's official. Diego Costa go to Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has passed the trial training and now got a contract for one year.
Diego Costa is one of those names that I least expected to see playing in EPL again. He was such an aggressive attacker during his days in Chelsea and though he is way past his prime now, I hope to see an inkling of that aggressiveness from him with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

N'Golo Kante wants a long-term commitment from the Blues if he is to sign a new contract and he has told Chelsea about it.
If kante wants to a longer contract to enable him play out his days in a blue uniform, I think Chelsea can honour him with that. He has a great record with the club and has helped them win many championships, plus even with his injury woes, he is always a great contribution to the team whenever he features. An extension on his contract for say a year or two is something Chelsea can afford, I think he can still do very well for them.

4: Prevent from News Cycle:
This can also be difficult to achieve since the news that you have made a conscious effort to avoid listening to or follow may also be headlined (posted) here in the forum or shared amongst friends and it will definitely arouse your attention.

If you decide long term investment in crypto, have a strong resolve to hodl regardless of whatever you hear. Having such a resolve prepares you to accept the possibility of  any sort of news, but hinges you to the resolve that you have made to hodl regardless. It requires a lot of discipline, but it is not impossible.
