2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertisements: A big trigger to gambling addiction. on: March 08, 2023, 04:45:08 PM
As annoying as these non-permissible ads could be there's certainly no way to avoid it from pop up on your screen as they are kinda a part of commercials on the site. Every site now is predominantly interrupted by one or more ads which is like the new trend now, and for gambling ads the best is to ignore by giving a blind sight/mind to it bearing it in mind that you have taken a decision to restrain from any gambling related activity and for that reason a popped up gambling ads shouldn't in anyway have a thing one your decision.
The bottom line is, these ads are just unavoidable.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 09:23:26 PM
With what is playing out this night in the champions league in the encounter between Chelsea and Dortmund, Chelsea is really performing beyond expectation and with the look of things Chelsea might defeat their visitors in this match because Chelsea has 3 shots on goal against their rival only 1 shot and Chelsea was able to convert 1 out of the 3 shots which is not bad for the blues, I see Chelsea coming out victoriously in this game.
The London boys are in a good performance tonight not as many fans had expected owing to their serial defeats lately ,but fortunately the game tonight is rather going their favour which am sure they will definitely assimilate the three points tonight unlike other days.
2183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: March 07, 2023, 03:19:12 PM
I would like to ask a very simple question on how to start on crypto if that is what it is called. The idea for me is in hopes I can just earn here and there mainly to help with monthly expenses. Not looking to invest like 5 figures but more of like 3 to 4 figure ranges to create that monthly recurring for my expenses.
I will give you as much idea as possible if you think you can make monthly income by trading crypto then you must have good knowledge about the market. At first you invest with a small amount so that you don't break even if you face losses and gradually you increase the amount of money invested. And later you will get your monthly income as a good amount by investing.
Where is this assurance hanged on as to the OP getting back monthly income based on what he must have invested in. Let's be careful not to indulge others into getting themselves in wrong  investment deals so they don't end up regretting seeking for help at the first place.
The crypto market is a volatile one and prone to unpredictable circumstances.

2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Paper wallet on Android phone on: March 07, 2023, 10:46:29 AM
I have a friend that wants to buy bitcoin, he wants to hold it for a very long time, he has no device he can use for it and only what I can think about now is for him to go for a paper wallet and he accepted after I explained about it to him, but the problem is that he does not have a computer at all. What I think he should do is to create a paper wallet, but he does not have the device which he can use.

He has an Android phone and he is ready to format it to make the phone look like new, install a bitcoin wallet on it offline and use it to create a paper wallet. The problem is that he can not remove the bluetooth and wifi, he can just only not enable them and make the phone to be offline. Is that not enough to create a paper wallet?

After he use that to create a paper wallet, he will format the phone again.
A colleague had similar issue and confiding in me I had to suggest he buys a London used computer which ranges around $50-$80 here my part of Africa, for they are very cheaper compared to a brand new one. He got the computer then completely formatted it to a brand new and used it to create the wallet. Since then I haven't gotten any complained from him relating to it, So i assume it worked out well for him.

OP I assume your friend should be able to afford it too since it's cheaper compared to owning a brand new computer, and it's also an alternative for your friend to avoid losing all his informations and data on his android phone by formatting it. For someone that plans to buy a good amount of bitcoin and hold for a long time then this suggestion isn't a bad one compared to using an android phone.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 06, 2023, 08:36:30 PM

If you made a billion dollars or even more, as someone who love gambling/betting and have been doing this on several other casinos for many years now, would you rather start your own casino?
Or would you prefer to keep gambling, doing your sports betting on other casinos even when you know you have more than enough money to start your own casinos and make the casino as big as you want it to be??

Inputs are greatly appreciated.
Even if I made a trillion dollars despite how much I love to gamble online I still won't think of opening my own online gambling or casino company. And this is because the love  someone might have for gambling is quite different from having interest in running a casino business. There's a thick like between running a business and patronizing the business.
I know of a certain guy that owned a gambling shop, he is an ardent gambler who decided to open a gambling shop as a line of business. He went into the line of business not because he has interest in running gambling business but because he felt as someone that's an ardent gambler he should open a gambling shop for business. But along the line the business crumble down because he was gambling with both the capital and profit of the gambling business he owned. Forgetting that it is business despite he owned it it's not same as just being a regular gambling customer.
In other words, not because you're a lover of gambling or bettor doesn't qualify you to owning or opening or running a  gambling business especially when the interest of running it as a business isn't inherently in you. It's better you dive into other business areas.
2187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Writing down the words under same roof as my siblings on: March 06, 2023, 08:08:51 PM
Do your siblings have a habit of going through your stuff? If yes, then you could buy a  small safe as those things ain't too expensive ( you can find basic models for ~$50). If no, then there must be a place in your room where you can safely store it.
The thing is that everyone pocket is not the same while $50 might look not expensive, to another it could be an expensive sum. So in the case where the $50 for a  safe seems to be expensive then you can boldly write your seed phrase down in a plain sheet and have it placed  where you keep your important documents like your certificates and major project works, as your siblings won't wanna tamper with your certificates knowing the usefulness of them, this thereby also keeps your seed phrase safe from them too.
Mind you, my advise is only a cost effective one, in case you can't afford a safe.
2188  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin is King on: March 06, 2023, 03:08:46 PM
There's a lot of factors to derive from the incontestable top position bitcoin has occupied amongst every other coins in this competitive market. For me these factors are in no particular order:
* Reliability/dependable
* Sustainability
* Resilience
* Durability
* Rest assurance for the investor (no fear of sudden dumping).
* Trusted by the sense of time. Etc
Looking at the table so far you will evaluate that every other coin lacks these factors as they are epileptic and  unstable in their positions as the year runs by.
2189  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 06, 2023, 10:10:49 AM
I want to ask are there beneficiaries to this war and in what ways are they benefiting from it.
Arms dealers, through selling of those arms and other weapons. That's the reality about this war.

But the sad truth is, too many lives are taken away and these wars are unlikely to be stopped because of many political disagreement and as well as territorial disputes.
I think national pride is part of other major reasons as to why the both warring factions have refused to wave a white flag on this war. Non wants to be seen as weak against the other but while this pride grows their citizens diminishes in number and strength. And other instigators of this war based on what you @livingfree have highlighted in your first statement, those that supplies weapons of war and others war aiding supplies are just underground behind the cotton heating up the polity continuously. And it's really crazy that humans don't care anymore about fellow humans dieing as long as they're making their money out of it.
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 05, 2023, 09:48:07 PM
I have heard of professional gamblers. Their job is to gamble and make a living while doing so. Some are very good at it and know their strength with a touch of discipline.
I once had a neighbour who lived majorly on winnings from good betting. Although not exactly gambling but football betting. He was really good at it, that he got most of the electronics and furnitures with the money he won.
It is very possible for someone to earn a living from gambling.
You can build a career life by basing your source of living solely on gambling winnings, it's a charm to think or have such believe. Your neighbor buying certain household items to filled the house is different from from him living on gambling as source of living. When responsibility hits and family needs arises and gambling isn't paying at that moments which is clearly possible to happen, what then would be the fate of such dependant on gambling a game of luck. It's like hanging your life on luck source
2191  Economy / Services / Re: Earn Thousands of dollars monthly helping migrants getting job contracts on: March 05, 2023, 05:07:26 PM
This is so sad and disheartening for me knowing how those of the third world countries particularly Africans go through a deadly risk in the adventure to look for a greener pasture as a result of the brunt of  bad leadership and mismanagement of the public goods which has led to the dilapidation of all sectors of the African states. OP if true that this is a scam as other users have raised a caveat about it, then you should understand that you're only aggravating the conditions of these eager to migrate migrants that don't only face the risk of sinking in the middle of the Mediterranean but also being scammed of their hard earned money that they have laboured through their anus to make, cause $3k  runs in millions when exchanged in the local currency. Which may seem nothing much to you but a great amount to these desperate migrants. Just think about it!
2192  Economy / Economics / War: who benefits and how! on: March 05, 2023, 02:04:40 PM
War is one thing that no society should engage themselves into as its effect is devastating and unforgettable upon generations. When two or more countries are warring it is said that there are other countries that benefits in one way or the other from the war as it prolongs and intensifies, especially economical benefits is one of such.
 The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine which has been on for almost a year now and the effects of the war between these two is not only on the two warring countries alone but has gone so far as affecting the economies of many countries of the world that have no involvement or interference in the said war. countries of Europe are experiencing a fall short in gas supply, while those of Africa and other continent suffer from economic downfall as a result of certain products and services that are no longer in-coming due to the war effect.
With this Russia Ukraine war which the effect is felt in almost all parts of the world directly and indirectly, I want to ask are there beneficiaries to this war and in what ways are they benefiting from it.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 05, 2023, 01:34:02 PM
Hi, as I said in the title, Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers from the biggest casinos are discussing each other? If you are in some such group please share them here. I believe there are some groups but I can not find them, unfortunately Smiley. Thank you
Please be careful in your quest to finding a gambling discussion group on the social media platform as there are many fraudulent and scammer's groups out there in the disguise of gambling discussion group or platform that pretend to be informing members on gambling tips and so-called free VIP odds. So even go to the extent of asking a new member to pay membership fees to be able to have access to these supposed VIP odds only to block you or remove you from the group after payment.
2194  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 05, 2023, 10:21:28 AM
For the homeschooling aspect I was trying to decipher how both you and your wife manages the little time between other family needs as people with children and the home teaching at same time with your work time, isn't that going to be tiresome?  Homeschooling in hard times isn't a bad idea but one disadvantage I discover that could be on the side of the children is that they would lack or be denied the opportunity to be exposed socially with children like them from other backgrounds and this situation can affect their social interactions in a way when they go outside.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 04, 2023, 08:20:12 PM
Arsenal really did an incredible job. I am very happy that they won the match with the goal at the last minute, they deserved this match until the end. When we look at the statistics, you see that Arsenal should win this match. Every shot their opponent took reached the goal and they scored 2 goals, while Arsenal had countless chances and shot.
It would be very sad if they only scored 2 goals with so many opportunities
For sure Arsenal fc proved themselves in today's match against Bournemouth that they are real serious EPL title contenders. Despite the defensive wall built up by Bournemouth after scoring their second goal Arsenal never gave up mounting pressure on the defense and eventually had the breakthrough they deserve with an overwhelming victory.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambler has 100% trust in each stake on: March 04, 2023, 07:13:48 PM
My question now is, As a gambler would you give 100% to a stake that you trust?
Except they are a fixed game and was given me through the right source of official outside this window I dare not give 100% trust and assurance to any stake no matter the team or player I may be placing my bet on. There's no such thing as 100% trust when it comes to gambling, just do your analysis and stake an amount you can easily let go in case you lose it cause nothing is sure in betting or gambling. Even the so-called Arsenal that are leading in the top position in the EPL table has ones lost to a smaller team this season apart from Manchester United they also loss to.
2197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misinformation about crypto (bitcoin). on: March 04, 2023, 12:59:47 PM
So many persons has a bit of a story to share about their initial knowledge to cryptocurrency. Most of us didn't start it right, we either fell into virtual scam or invested into a shit coin with a loss and ended up having an all round view that everything cryptocurrency is fraud. I believe bitcoin has been like a game changer to every cryptocurrency user, making them to understand that the crypto industry is dependable and reliable to invest and trade, and this reliability is gotten when you take time to DYOR on it.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did they not know about the importance of Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2023, 10:37:58 AM
To me I'll say it was the best decision they made at that moment, it could be that these transactions they made within those periods where part of the catalyst that made a boost to what we are enjoying today in higher value as bitcoin. The price of a gold sold at $100 some 40 years ago may be selling at $10k today, that doesn't mean that those that sold theirs 40years ago made a mistake or that they didn't know the value, what they did was just business at the very value it were.
Now today bitcoin is at $23k and many persons are selling theirs, if the price hits 100k in the next 15 years to come that doesnt mean tht those that sold theirs at 23k didn't know the importance. Based on the times and intervals it was the best value for each of them.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 03, 2023, 10:03:08 PM
It has been five weeks since Chelsea got their last win in the Premier League. The thing more horrible for them is that they were able to score only 1 goal in these 5 matches. Can you imagine how serious their situation is now? They have been making transfers for the attacking area with the aim of increasing the productivity level. Maybe they are able create many dangerous attacks but they just can't finish them up with a goal. I really don't know what more they need to do from now on.

Normally Leeds aren't a match for them but I can't believe in Chelsea to win in this situation. But I hope that this match would be the one that their horrible streak ends.
Chelsea has been a top four contender club for over two decades now and nothing but the top four. A club that even being in the Europa league is like a let down to the club but today same club is struggling to escape away around the ten position on the EPL table cause of lack of effective organisation. Potter as a coach is still at the grooming stage of club management and him managing Chelsea exposes this fact that he's not manager enough with the needed experience to manage a top four club in the EPL. Chelsea has the players that every good coach can use to win streaks of matches which Leeds wouldn't be a club to bother oneself about but today with the likes of Potter Chelsea is not only struggling to win but also having no hope in getting draws from even the least teams on the EPL. Something is seriously wrong!
