2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 13, 2015, 02:27:17 AM
well done aus. got my money back Grin now i am waiting for the newzland to finish off the match as soon as possible..they might declare with 400 runs lead and 2 full days remaining

Congratulation on winning your odds. I too won small bet on this Australia match. Now New Zealand leading by 308 runs with 9 wickets remaining in their second innings. They may declare this second innings after reaching around 450 runs but if SL batsman may try to draw this test match but not sure how for they may success in this try.

as predicted they declared for 400.  hope rain wont affect the match, if so that is going to be a problem. today there will be little showers now and then,NZ has to get a wicket or two when play resumes and tomorrow they can go for the full kill as there wont be rain tomorrow as the weather forecast says ,hoping for the best results. the reason SL wont have a chance to draw the match is because they dont have experienced players in the team right now. if Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakara was there ,then definitely its a different game. legends are hard to replace

I don't think only Jayawardene and Sangakara won all test matches for SL but the total what they need chase is quite high and also it is raining which will help mostly bowlers than batsman. As of now SL playing quite sensible cricket and Mendis already got on life, catch was dropped by Guptill at second slip. If SL want to draw this test match than they really need to play very good test cricket.

in order to show the temperament to last two full days in the crease is a really hard thing now a days, the recent series against india where ABD and AMLA displayed cannot be replicated at all. only the captain can delay the proceedings as he could stay a bit longer as he has been the sole performer in and away series. with Jayawardene and sangakara they cant win the match in this condition but they could build a partnership to save the match and  that was  my point mate.

What you said is true. All these young players are more suitable for short form of games. They are more attracted to T20 games where they can just come hit hard and entertain viewers for few minutes but to play test match players need a really cricket technical skills to stay on pitch for half day or full day. Currently SL already lost one wicket for 50+ runs so I don't think they can play today and tomorrow full to make this test draw. NZ will win this match for sure.
2182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: December 13, 2015, 02:17:31 AM
Many people bought at such levels. Believe it or not, many got a chance to be introduced to bitcoin at that time because of all the attention it was receiving. It's unlikely that those who bought above 1000$ still hold their bitcoins from then, as people introduced to it for speculatory reasons have likely lost faith in the price rising to such levels again. It was a good time to be a trader though.

Yes, that true. Who ever first time they brought about 1000+ by thinking they can make huge profits by now they might have sold all those bitcoins for the huge lose. And also I don't think they will come back aging to bitcoin even price reach 10000+. It is common to any one once they lost trust on any one or thing most likely in their life time they will not look back into that. Lucky I didn't buy any at that price but started trading only recently. Currently prices looks like up trend don't know how long it will survive that price.
2183  Economy / Economics / Re: China currency and effects on BTC on: December 12, 2015, 02:23:51 AM
So with China devaluing currency and the Chinese citizens looking to get their money out of Yuan, do you think buying BTC will be one of their means for doing so?  I dont know much about the capital controls, but if the citizens cant easily take their Yuan and buy other currencies maybe buying BTC will be easier and more efficient for them?  This would be very good news for the BTC price.  Thoughts?

I'm really not sure whether all chines are buying bitcoins. But what you said is correct than this will be a very good news for btc price stability because more and more people hold bitcoins price may not fluctuate so much in future. If that happens traders may not like it because they want every day price movement to make profits for them but for general public who is not a trader it will be a great news. Currently prices are constantly moving and reaching again around 500 level soon. Any idea what is the real cause for this up move? is it a bubble or real one?
2184  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is running a faucet still profitable? on: December 12, 2015, 02:15:13 AM
There are lots of faucets nowadays. Actually you can profit from a faucet but you need to do some different things to attract users.

Who ever coming to faucets to make some coins are only interested in solving capacha and move on to next faucet to earn money coins so they are not worried about the site owner profit and lose. So if any one want to make some profit from these faucets than you should come up with some additional activities on your sites which attracts visitors to keep on your site for long time than one can make surely some good profits otherwise mostly no. So try to keep the visitors on you're site more time for more profits. Smiley
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: December 11, 2015, 04:18:23 AM
I use a few different ones just to avoid losing everything if I have an issue with one, although I am slowing finding myself favoring only one or two. Plus the wallets from all those gambling sites  Roll Eyes

It's good thinking. Instead keeping every thing at place better to keep in many different wallets so if one wallet got hacked or any thing happen than your lose may not be so much otherwise at once one can lose everything. Only because of reducing risk factor, I have many online wallets and got one desktop wallet. I don't gamble much so I no need to worry of losing money in gambling.
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2015, 04:14:19 AM
definitely no gambling, too easy to lose.  Perhaps more conservative routes like faucets, simply purchasing, holding, or investing.

holding is definitely not growing your bitcoins.

Anyway, try saving wallets like haobtc or Magnr. Theres a new one coming up which I cant remember the name off my head, it was featured in some crypto news site
sorry sir, i think holding is also growing your bitcoin, we can say it longterm investment, im holding my bitcoin to paper wallet, and i sure it will growing in future

How can it be growing? You will still have the same amount of bitcoins after all that time. Only the fiat value of these bitcoins can be higher maybe. But the question was about growing bitcoins which means, in my opinion, to have more bitcoins than before at the end.

What you said is correct and partially the OP also correct. Just think I buy and keep the coins until its prices appreciate and I sell it and again I buy when prices go down with same money. That means when prices are down I can buy more bit coins with same fiat currency. I always do buying bitcoins at lower price and wait until prices go up to sell and this is just my way of growing coins from trading.
2187  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any good dice site users could invest? on: December 10, 2015, 03:15:20 AM
Hi. Are there any good dice sites one could invest? For i.e: satoshidice has Invest option. Smiley

The only dice sites that i believe are trustworthy so far are primedice and just-dice, and since AFAIK primedice doesn't accept private investments,
i would recommend you just-dice. It's owned by user dooglus , that is here on our forum, with a long trust history.
GL with your investment btw.

just dice is good, dooglus is a trusted member but only use CLAM and the price of altcoin can change very rapid (i remember the start of clam, value are 0,01 and now in 10%)

Yes that is the negative part of this site but owner is very trust worthy person. I also planned to invest but some how hold back because of CLAM only option to invest but now I feel very lucky because CLAM prices came down lot since then. Except alt coin this site is very good to invest.

Another good site to consider is bitvest.io - they are paying investors around 1.15% of the house edge. Just invested small amount recently.
2188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do DICE BOTS Actually Work For You? on: December 10, 2015, 03:04:33 AM
Well, I use the built-in rollin bot to level up the faucet. I am just about to reach level 2 Grin. I left once the freebitco bot running and when I came back I had no funds. I guess unless you manage to hack the site, the is no way to ensure you profit.

It is easy to create a bots to work for any site but very difficult to make any profit from these bots. So there is no use to come up any bots for these dice sites. If you play for long time sure every one will lose money to these dice sites because of house edge. Since some times loses may go up continuously so very difficult to come up with strategy to make profits from these bots.
2189  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: New investment? on: December 10, 2015, 01:56:10 AM
This is surely a scam site. No one legitimately can double your investments in 100 hours so think before investing in any products. They may be paying for small investors to for some time to trap new investors so do not fall on these traps. Surely one day they will close this site and come up with new one so don't ever invest money on such sites instead just keep coins with you and price will appreciate soon or later to make profit.
2190  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorit Bitcoin gambling site and why? on: December 09, 2015, 02:54:28 AM
I use directbet site for sports betting because no need to register to bet on any game. So for I never face any issues with their service, all winnings received on time without failure and their support is quite active and best so for I have seen in this forum.

fortunejack.com - got lot of good verities of games to try and they also have a digital currency exchange system, with small fee you can easily convert you're currency to play games or do the exchange. They support is also quite good in answering all your queries related to service issues.

I usually bet only on sports so I really like the directbet site. Most of the the reasons you already mentioned above. The best thing I like is, very simple layout to bet on any games and no need to go through all those steps like opening account and loading funds to site and then bet. They really understood the importance of unanimous betting and made very convenient for betting people. Off-course there support is one of the best in all gambling sites.
2191  Economy / Speculation / Re: So the panick buying is kicking in.. on: December 09, 2015, 02:50:17 AM
the bubble just took a break and is now beginning again...

It looks like just a bubble becoming bigger and bigger again. As per my knowledge there is no solid reason for bitcoins to increase prices so fast from all the way 250 level to 400+. Anyway I made some good profits already and booked some profits and looking to buy again at some good price. Not sure how long this high price will survive. Anyone know the real reason for this price rise?
2192  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 09, 2015, 02:42:37 AM
I am a regular visitor to India (especially to Delhi, and Kerala). Although there are not many shops which accept BTC in these regions, you can easily convert your BTC to fiat cash (INR), at low premiums. In Delhi itself, there are dozens, if not hundreds of traders who trade Bitcoins for fiat cash. Use Localbitcoins to get in touch with these guys.
Yup Even I have some colleagues who is from India, So many people not aware of bitcoins. But who are all working in bitcoin they are very clever and they are doing trading also through localbitcoins.com and btcindia. Except Amazon India and Ebay India  none of the Online shops are accepting as I got info from my friend.

There are many competent software programmers in India. Hotmail was originated from India. One day India will be the forefront of bitcoin related business.

The question is not whether any Bitcoin related business will come up from India, but how Bitcoin adoption will be in India. Smiley
You may have competent programmers, but that alone cannot take Bitcoin to the masses.

Indian government will not allow bitcoins for so easily to use reason is simple they can't track the transactions and and also can't collect the taxes for these transactions. This was the reason even paypal is exit the India. Paypal didn't agree to pay the taxes for transactions so Indian government didn't allow them to operate in India. It looks like in near future may not happen any things but if bitcoins gain more popularity around the world than they may consider.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 08, 2015, 03:01:53 AM
India is looking dangerous against South Africa that is huge victory with wonderful margin of 337 runs that is really more than i expected for there again good job by Indian spinners.

Actually SA didn't score any thing in the second innings because they tried only for drawing test so their total score in second innings very less. Anyway we should give credit to indian bowlers for making them all out. This is only match finished in last day, all other matches was finished in first 3 days only.

Even though SA failed to draw this test match but they really played matured test cricket. AB de Villiers played out 297 balls and Amla 244 balls, just these two guys played one whole day match of around 90 overs. This is the real test cricket, having lost only five wickets in 138 overs until tea on day five, South Africa lost their last five wickets in the space of just 27 balls. This is what something can't understand how cheaply those last five wickets they lost it.
2194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest in Bitcoin businesses? on: December 08, 2015, 02:53:56 AM
You can try to invest through Blockchain - http://blockchain.info - when you make a new account, there is an investment option tab or if you already have the Blockchain address - you can see it, when you log in. This is probably one of the BTC investment with low profit  Wink

The one blockchain is listed in vestment option is btcjam and I don't think it is a safe method to invest our coins. You can check there are plenty of issues related to btcjam site and what I know is even well rated members also didn't payback the loans so I don't think it is good option to consider as a investment instead you can lend your coins with proper collateral on this forum for safe returns.

Yes, I also can see only btcjam site for investment purpose on blockchain. Is btcjam is sponsored by blockchain or btcjam is advertising on blockchain? Anyway btcjam is not safe place to invest our money. There are many complains on defaulting loans by well rated members and btcjam never helped get back investors money so it is completely waste site put our hard earn money on this site. Currently I'm searching some good casino sites to invest my money.
2195  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 08, 2015, 02:04:15 AM
Today I got error message saying that " Sorry, an error occurred while sending the SMS, please try again later. " - Any one face same issue? I even tried to receive a call but not successful so just wonder is it only I got this issue or any of you also facing this issue?

But mobile wallet is still looks working, I haven't tried yet any transaction through mobile.

If you are commonly experience issues receiving SMS 2FA codess I recommebd you to choose Google Authenticator or Authy, a second factor authentication application that can substitute SMS messages 2FA codes. Additionally, you can retrieve second factor codes natively from the Xapo Android or iOS app, by navigating to the options menu and selecting "Second Factor".

Actually I feel good to receive SMS instead of google authenticator some how because just I have more confidence on SMS system. XAPO is a quite good online wallet, I also using for more than a year so for quite good. What I think is either your service provider has some issues in sending messages or some issue with their system.

As you already said you can receive SMS now means their system may be some thing wrong. What I usually do, if like this issue happen means just restart your mobile phone and your PC and try mostly it will work.
2196  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ was the top on: December 07, 2015, 02:53:21 AM
Of course 400 is the top, it's totally manipulated

I don't believe in tops. If the people behind the manipulation want, they can get it to $500 within a day. Then people will simply say about the $500 price, 'this is the real top for december!'. People don't know what they have to think anymore. Today they are extremely sure that $400 is the absolute top, and tomorrow they don't even remember it anymore.

Yes, it looks like the recent run up was completely manipulated otherwise there was no good reason for bitcoin prices to move up almost more than 150$ in a day. And I also surprise that, how this manipulated price still holding around 400 level. I was thinking after that run up may be within couple of weeks prices may go back around 280 range but currently prices are more stable above 350 level. I have already booked some profit around 400+ level, let's see how long this it will hold the price around 400.
2197  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INDIA]Indian Super League [INDIA] on: December 07, 2015, 02:47:05 AM
I think goa will win today but i will also bet on both team will score. Did directbet also have both team win pick? i have never tried that with them before.

The final game of this season group stage was won by visitors goa and it was a remarkable comeback and winning 3-2 against hosts delhi. The gaurs and dynamos played entertaining football all through with goals coming from serginho greene and adil nabi for delhi in the first half before romeo fernandes’ brace and joffre’s 90th minute strike helped goa to win this match. It was a really best match to watch.

Yesterday this match was fantastic to watch. Goa was underdog first half of the match and in second off all their strategies worked out well to win this match and they got the top spot in this season. The home side Delhi showed more attacking intent in the first half, backed by a well organised defence. Vinicius found himself with a couple of chances at goal but his shots lacked the finishing. I really enjoyed the match and any one own bet on this game? I didn't bet but just watched complete match.
2198  Economy / Economics / Re: Why gold price going down? on: December 05, 2015, 03:13:38 AM
Gold is an investment that you only invest in if you have nothing else to invest in. The global market is doing decently, therefore there is really no need for gold.

Gold has no actual industrial use, unlike copper and iron.

Gold is widely used in electronic goods. You can extract lots of gold from the print circuit boards if you have the right tools. It is a big business.

Yes that's true. Only in olden days people use to buy gold for arrangements and store if for future price appreciations. But in this new electronics generation most of the gold produced is going into manufacturing field and that's why now a days industrial gold consumption has become more. All electrical printed circute boards need gold plated and many people buy these unused printed circute boards back to extract gold from these boards.
2199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of the bitcoin will jump again? on: December 05, 2015, 02:49:19 AM
I prefer steady price increases rather than unsustainable epic pumps because there's always a crazy sell off then.

If we could get above 400 and consolidate there before Xmas it'd be great

Yes, that is very true. If any prices go up suddenly than it won't survive at that high price for long time. Prices should move slow and study is much better for bitcoins high prices to stay at high. For 50 to 100 dollar movement prices should stabilize before taking off again. I think by next year end prices may be around 600 range if no other bad news comes out against bitcoin. Now it is time for accumulation than selling bitcoins.
2200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 04, 2015, 08:40:53 AM
India won the toss and elected to bat in this last test match. Currently India scored 60 runs for lose of one wicket. If they continue play like this without losing many wickets then they can reach around 400 runs in first innings.

India just lost second wicket and score is just 66 runs. Vijay and Dhawan started off slowly after Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. Vijay in particular looked a bit edgy. He was lucky to receive an early lifeline but didn't make use of it, got out already. Now India need a couple of good partnerships to build big score in this innings.
They are down by 4 wickets. I guess they are doing pretty fine(as compared to previous matches). I have done a 0.15BTC bet on India at 1.81x odds(the odds are pretty great i guess). Hope I win this one on India after a very long time.

Currently India is not in a good position in this match. They lost 7 wickets for just 231 runs. Rahane, Jadeja and Ashwin have moved India from 139 for 6 to 231 for 7. Still South Africa's day overall but they would have done even better because they have effectively only three bowlers to pick up these wickets. Tahir has been disappointing in test matches. Today we will come to know who may win this match.

I would say they're in a ok'ish position, they did lose some early wickets but I think 250+ would be enough as South Africans aren't performing too well on spinning wickets. I don't expect anything to change in this Match to be honest, I think Indians will score another comfortable win and you're right it'll be clear by the end of the day.

india have posted above 323/8 score which is i think very good totall, now if they cross above 350+ and declare then i think south africa batsman will be worrying about spinners of india, as now the pitch is turning and supporting the spinners. imran tahir came and took the first wicket and gave the break through of 8th wicket partnership for SA

India all out for 334 runs, actually I never expected India will cross 300 mark in this innings. Rahane and Ashwin really played a best innings in this match, particularly being a bowler Ashwin scored second highest innings total was the turning point for this big total. Anyway now Indian bowlers need to show their regular performance to pickup quick wickets and put pressure on SA batsman.
