2181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: October 14, 2020, 07:02:36 PM
The token pump is highly dependent on supply and demand, but the current trend is a factor in the hype for some pump tokens.
And there are many other factors that make tokens pump. Such as influencers, news, promotions and so on. What is certain is
that if we do research and analysis properly, we can predict the price movements of tokens. So when the price of tokens will be
pumped, we can predict it.
Yeah like the big John Mcfee used to pump fake projects but is now arrested. There are many reasons for a pump in the price for small altcoins like you said hype is one of them and a significant one because often teams are able to hire a marketing team that creates FOMO among investors and then as the price gets hiked they will sell off the coins and run away.

While for solid coins like ETH there are pumps happening when there is solid news about something new being built like how the Defi created a big news in the market and the price for ethereum was hiked if I am not wrong because I don't follow the prices so closely all the time. Similarly Tron always have some kind of developments going which makes it pump often.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Sushiswap ? on: October 12, 2020, 08:10:39 PM
SushiSwap to be quite good. Though one thing that most of these DeFi projects do have in common is that they are ‘hungry', seriously they have some funny names and some people are not going to be taking them serious; sushi, sashimi, yam, etc. Lol. This project has had its share of controversy as well, same as other DeFi projects there is, but it’s been good.

For me I would say that it’s better to earn sushi token than investing, that would be much better. And the price has been down as of recent, it used to be more than what it is now. It has been competing with Uniswap, and the competition got even more hot as Uniswap released their own UNI token.
2183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 11, 2020, 07:22:37 PM
Learning the skills for trading cryptocurrency is not easy, so that’s why some people needs to invest in the hands of some good professionals to help trade for them. Although scammers has been the ones ruining this space by pretending that they are professional that needs investors funds to trade, and when they might have gotten those investors to invest the money, they will make away with it.

Maybe you might have experienced something similar for you to be saying that. But it doesn’t mean that there are no good professionals that are doing their job and getting investors the profit they deserve. If you can’t do it, but you have the funding, as long as you can get a reliable person, then why not go with it?
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Real "Sports Feelings" on: October 10, 2020, 07:10:54 PM
Everyone has their own thoughts, so there must be people who bet only on their favorite team. Such a person betting is not oriented
towards profit, but bets on the trust of his favorite team. Because I am a typical person who focuses on making profits when doing
sports betting. Of course I will only choose the team that I think has a greater percentage of wins.
Actually very interesting topic as I myself being a gambler now realize that I often stop enjoying the sports like I used to enjoy before because I bet too much on the games and rather than having the fun of the games I am now becoming a robot who will deposit and then pray for an event to fall in my favor and actually I get so carried away with betting that I used to bet on teams I hate just because I feel they will have a better chance of winning today, I am a long time Federer fan but when a match happen like Djokovic vs Federer I would be so tempted to bet on Djokovic just because I know he is better.

I feel strange after thinking like that because I am making better gambling decisions overall actually but am I getting too involved in gambling on sports such that I miss the fun? Sure I do miss the same thrill and excitement.
2185  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Gaming Drive Cryptocurrency Adoption? on: October 10, 2020, 05:18:27 PM
I'm a hardcore gamer since I was a kid. Been playing video games during my spare time until today. I'm so enlightened about the potentials of blockchain gaming (especially those who are already making a living in playing them).
There was a lot of projects under process too which are based on the blockchain technology and while I am not sure about the authenticity of this article and being a non-tech guy I have not much knowledge but you might want to check out this article - https://www.blockchaingamer.biz/features/3283/most-anticipated-blockchain-games/

I have been playing games like PubG mobile and others and here is how I refill my game with BTC

- I buy razer gold card from Bitrefill
- I visit Midasbuy which provide in game items and UC (pubg mobile game currency) and there I order my items
- I pay via razer gold cards which I purchased by bitcoins from bitrefill.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 10, 2020, 01:29:27 PM
Total domination by Holm.  But here's the thing...  Are they giving her another title shotvs Nunes ?  Ugh..  Boring.  I was kinda hoping Aldana would win.  We need new faces to rise up the ranks.
So true but Holm was just too good and experienced while Aldana felt lost in the ring completely. The funniest fight wad the co main event where Felipe won but the referee was so funny man every time he separated the fighters they will again go to the grappling game and the ref separated them like 5 times if not more.

It was a pretty dull fight night to be brutally honest but there was some good action and there were some out of the world submission where the grappler herself got submitted in a shocking manner, Penna was surprised by how hard the grip was from her opponent and Penna was unconscious.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: The 2nd generation of banking is going digital on: October 10, 2020, 09:01:58 AM
The traditional banks we have are already moving their services to digital and online. These days that’s why we all have these online banking and banking applications that are being used for things like sending money, managing your cards, paying bills, and so many other things that you can do with them.

These transition to online and digital has made a lot of things to be so damn easy. Just like I mentioned paying of bills, I can remember when there wasn’t things like this and I had to go to offices to pay, waiting in queue and all that, it was really annoying.

You also don’t need to go to banks before sending money to someone. And then Bitcoin has also made things even more easy. It’s really good that things are changing.
2188  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 09, 2020, 06:51:47 PM
Things you have said here are true, men really need to wise up and understand that there will be consequences when you take the wrong step. It’s just like gambling, I wouldn’t say that it’s wrong, but it becomes a wrong thing when you’re addicted to it (you will definitely get addicted though, so it’s best to avoid it completely).

Based on my experience I have seen people that get addicted to gambling and how it ruins their life. They will wake up everyday and go to casinos and gambling shops to waste their money. The most annoying part is that some of them will be broke as f*ck and still be gambling, instead of looking for reasonable things to invest their money in.
2189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strengthen and better stabilize the bitcoin process on: October 09, 2020, 05:41:50 PM
Do not put all your eggs in one basket has been a saying for centuries, and it always stands.
However bitcoin is looking great nowadays, people do not realize that having some sort of backing to where we are and not dropping even when we try is a thing we can't just ignore, it is a marvelous situation where bitcoin has hard time going down even with sellers and bears pushing it so hard.

This is why you should put a lot of eggs in this basket, you should buy bitcoin reasonably, I am not saying buy with all of your money because you should never invest all your money into anything, nothing in the world is that great, however if you end up with putting 70% of your money into bitcoin you could actually come up with a big profit on this, you may just need to wait a bit more for it.
2190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: October 09, 2020, 03:29:56 PM
Investing into bitcoin is not the same as trading bitcoin, you have to first decide which one you want to do before you put any money into crypto. If you want to trade, as in get in at the current price and increase it 10-20% and get out, that means it is trading and if you want to do that you may wait out a bit, or you may even get in right now because it looks like it could go up a lot as well.
I believe 10-20% is a big change for trader because from what I have seen traders feel pretty good with even a 2-3% change in price because the price of bitcoins is high and even a 2% change means hundreds of dollars change which is enough for a trader to earn their profits. I agree that it might be a smart move to wait out a bit but surely around the new year we will see a price hike in my opinion so even buying now is not the worst idea.

However if you want to invest into bitcoin, like put your money in it right now and wait few years at least before you even think about selling, it would be easier for you to actually invest right now because you are at the very start of bitcoins big increase towards institutional investment to become a wall street thing, if you get in right now before that happens you are going to be very lucky.
You mean long term investments and for investing in long term I agree with you that anytime we can buy because we are not going to regret that we could have grabbed the same amount of bitcoins for a few hundred dollars cheaper.

For a trader it is a big lose if they miss out on even a few hundred variance so depends on the need and the purpose of purchase.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 09, 2020, 01:11:59 PM
I have not experienced such a thing before, I have not mistakenly sent BTC to a wrong address and I have also not received any from someone. Unless you have to type out the whole address one letter after the other or there is some kind of malware on your device, I don’t see why such a thing would be happening when you can just copy the address of the person that’s receiving and paste it on your wallet before sending. I have seen people saying that made such a mistake, and I always wonder what could have led to them making such a mistake when they can just copy-paste and recheck twice or more to know if their address is correct.

And lastly, if you send Bitcoin to another cryptocurrency address you’re going to lose it. I don’t think anyone would do this as well, unless they just want to act dumb.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap $2 billion in total value locked on: October 08, 2020, 05:05:36 AM
Very good for them, and I am not quite surprised about their growth so far. There have been some people who were saying that it will crash and that’s because they believe it’s all hype and soon investors drop it for something else, but that wasn’t the case, instead the market kept going up. Although I would say if that’s going to happen it’s still early , it’s probably going to take time, but I wouldn’t like that to happen.

i thought they locked some funds and slowly turned into scam lol but i guess i was wrong because ive read positive coments above . locking of funds do also happen on the past but lock in a way that holders cant sell thier coin . congrats to the exchange btw for achieving this .
Nah, locking funds is not a new thing in this market and it doesn’t say that they are scammers. By now I believe that they are legit, it would be dumb if they should make such a move, and moreover they won’t get away with it for sure. Lastly, they have managed to establish themselves, so why ruin it now?
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is coin who Will compete with very soon on: October 08, 2020, 04:35:37 AM
You’re saying this like it’s something new. Monero is already a popular coin and I don’t remember anyone saying that Monero (XMR) is not among the top cryptocurrencies in the market; it currently sits at the number 16th on the Coinmarketcap website and that’s a bigger position compared to its counterpart which is Zcash, both have been in the power drag for the best privacy coin.

XMR is a good coin, although we are not sure what the future holds, there are so many projects that are being rolled out these days; so many good tokens that seems to be taking over the market and I am surprised to see Crypto.com coin (CRO) on the number 9th position, that’s quite a move.
2194  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 07, 2020, 06:57:06 PM
It has been the story of this tough timing that people are losing jobs they are losing business and some are even losing faith in life. I met a group of people online yesterday to discuss about a meeting and after the meeting was over we were discussing how the pandemic was hurting us and actually everyone of us were feeling so dire and I felt like I am the only one who is suffering. The truth is everyone is suffering, some more than others but everyone is suffering. Some have the power to hide their tears while some are weak and let others know about it.

I did not lost my job but I have been paid a lot less than what I was being paid and it was hard to survive because the expenses are being set since years and it is really hard to cut them but I never felt too upset because I acknowledge the fact that I am still alive while not everyone is as lucky.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: October 07, 2020, 06:17:11 PM
It is difficult to rely on the government for all our needs or even our bills, because the government can't support all our needs because they are focusing on a lot of things like hospitalization for those who are affected by covid 19. The government cannot spend all the budget for this year alone, as there is no certainty when the pandemic will end.
Actually the meaning of a good government is to maintain a balance between both because they must assure their people that no matter how hard the pandemic hits, the government is always there to support their people. All the taxes we pay towards the government are actually to ensure that the government has enough stability to fight off such pandemics. At these times the true litmus test for the government is occupied because when there are good times we never know how stable the government is.

as far as I know bitcoin is one of the best way to pay our bills, on selected paying sites.
But having bitcoins means you have money, so I mean how do you earn bitcoins? I know there are many sites to spend them but the thing is how you earn them?
2196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make Money While You Sleep? Welcome To The World Of Crypto Trading Ai Bots on: August 06, 2020, 07:54:16 PM
Before jumping into making use of bots and thinking that it’s a good idea, it’s best to think twice about it and do a better research to understand the different types of bots and how they function. They are completely different, and it’s not like the op have said it, you don’t just install the bots and start chilling while they make you millions of dollars, it still requires you making some adjustments from time to time. You have set them up properly before you will be able to be making profit from it.

Overall like I said, there are different types of bots you will have to know the one you need and then how to set it up properly for it work how you want.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 03, 2020, 07:04:37 PM
Well, bad news for Spurs that they are going to play against Sixers and that game will be a tough one, they have won their first 2 games but Sixers is a team that wants to go to finals this year if they can, so that game will be a tough one and I wouldn't bet for spurs to win.

However good news for Spurs, Portland blazers the team that is trailing spurs will play rockets and that does look like a very tough game for Portland as well. All in all that 8th spot for western conference will have a very fiery competition, I would love to watch who ends up getting it, I think only grizzlies, spurs and Portland has a chance, and if there is 4 game difference between the 8th and 9th that means they will play a game to 3 between them as well which I think if that happens Spurs would get that.
2198  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: August 03, 2020, 05:15:41 PM
Who so ever put all his money in gambling is responsible for his loss. People think that they could become millionaire in a day are totally wrong, if they go all in , 90% of the time they will lose. Its the greed which cause people to lose what they already have.  Sad
I think when gamblers lose more money than they can afford to lose, they become desperate, they try every single method they can to get some money out, they hope that places will give them hush money as well and they just spit bs like this all the time.

I have seen so many people who have tried to do the same. Hell I am not going to lie, I did something similar back in the day when it was satoshidice and way early days (there wasn't any off-chain dice to give you an idea) but it was due to misunderstanding, they explained to be what the problem was and we figured it out and they sent me my money back, no loss no profit just money back and we came to an agreement, but if I didn't, I would have probably lost all that money.

So, if you say there are drug deals and so forth and make stuff up, you will get nothing, but if you believe you are right, it doesn't hurt to get their attention somehow.
2199  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2020, 02:29:01 PM
Anyone who invest in Bitcoin or in some of the other cryptocurrencies need to remember that their value is purely based on speculation. They don't exist in the physical form and therefore the risk involved here is very high. Theoretically there is even a chance of these assets becoming completely worthless. There are people out there who have 100% of their portfolio comprised of cryptocurrency. But it is not something that I would do or condone.
Look while I agree that since bitcoins are not centralized so there is always a higher risk when investing because you cannot hold someone responsible for any problems in future. But that said since the bitcoins are decentralized the power lies in the hands of us investors and traders who can make the price zero or millions because no one is controlling it brings true benefits and a scarcity in future because of the fixed number of coins to be mined and hence the demand is going to increase honestly speaking.

I would never suggest to rely on any asset let it be bitcoins or anything because relying on any asset for future is a very passive approach and I always like to think that we should have active earnings to compete in the current scenario. You should be ready for adverse conditions and being pessimistic is sometimes a good idea so that you prepare for the worst.
2200  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun-Most trusted & coolest looking provably fair blackjack in Market on: July 29, 2020, 05:22:00 PM
I think card counting on blacjkack is not really that possible in online games, if it was that simple they wouldn't have made it so easy to not follow up and everyone would have counted cards and make a lot of money.

Since, the decks are randomized after certain period of time, you can't keep track of it and have to start over again and that would make it difficult for you to make a profit that way.

In the end we are talking about a place not relying on brute force to kick you out but a place that can't stop you from gambling if you cheat, hence they have to make sure you can't cheat and not just you wouldn't. That is why I feel like I wouldn't care how many decks and from where to where, I just play each hand like it is a brand new deck all the time and that allows me to get more fun out of it.
