That is a real customer service!
No irony here, but questions remains are they real or not?
If a was local and money are not on risk i would give them a try for sure:)
Just for the reference did you received any address where you are going try it first?

Please, don't be silly. Take the time to read the full thread. It's been 100% proved that PrimeAsic is a SCAM.
Please look at my tread comments especialy this one i just do not understand why no one reads important things first Smiley

I am really sorry that Ztex guy's missed ASIC party. They are Eu and pros it would be very nice if they had a product

who said they won't? They could easily be one of the two experienced integrators that might be picking up the 28Nm ASIC being made in europe
[/quote]
I said they can and they are pros and i regret that there is no news from them about Asics yet
2184  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 08, 2013, 08:16:33 AM
Nie wiem z czego piszesz, ale po angielsku szło ci lepiej.
Ja jadę ze Śląska i będę szybciej Cheesy

As You can see, half of .eu is alredy there/on thier way Cheesy
Absolutely normal since there is no competition Smiley

2185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question: Where can I find Avalon ASIC Batch #1 install guide? on: March 08, 2013, 07:32:32 AM
@techwtf

No blue light from the front side or from the ethernet board inside the case. The USB hub inside the case showed red light.
Are USb cables OK?

check if J5 is in please also
From FAQ

Connect to PC

Notice if you want to plug the USB to a computer instead of 703N (Ethernet board), you must remove the Jumper on the controller board. the jumper's label is P5, next to the USB port.
So the jumper must be there not removed
As an alternative you can remove Jumper P5 and plug the usb cable which connected the usb hub in your PC. You should see (windows) new hardware found USb bla bla
doing this you will know that the problem is inside the white USB switch or Ethernet board itself  But you have to remove the jumper when doing PC test
2186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question: Where can I find Avalon ASIC Batch #1 install guide? on: March 08, 2013, 06:46:24 AM
OK... I connected Avalon to my laptop's ethernet port then switch the power on, but the light of ethernet port was dark. So I switch off the power for now. Was there something I missed out? Huh
Cable probably? It may be damaged one. Other stuff as long as Wr703 is powered via usb there were reports of not connected (loose) cable because of transportation. Remove the cover of the unit and make sure all cables are in place especially USB
Is it OK? crossover or straight. Other way to go is to use network switch switch or LAN of the soho router
2187  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question: Where can I find Avalon ASIC Batch #1 install guide? on: March 08, 2013, 05:51:52 AM
Where can I find an Avalon ASIC Batch #1 install guide? (If it does exist.) Thanks!

1 make your PC with IP like 192.168.0.33/255.255.255.255
2. Conect PL Ethernet  to avalon Ethernet
3. Login to avalon http://192.168.0.100
4. Configure avalon unit to have Ethernet (Ip/mask/GW/DNS or DHCP) via wireless or wire save applay and when using wire just connect the unit in your router or whatever

6. Eneter your pools url sers and works in the web there is a web tab tab
7 Save apply and reboot

8 enjoy

Keefe,

All is fine as long as Yufu got your mail. Relax and have a nice weekend. You will have your unit

Best

I just called DHL and they don't see anything heading my way. I'm in the US and my order was one of the first 20 of batch 1, so I'm surprised. If others' orders have shipped, why not mine.

How are you sure you were in the 1st 20?  It looks like some bulk orders in China were in the batch too.

First 20 orders, not units. I still suspect they lost my order (and my BTC?) since they've ignored my many attempts to get confirmation.
All we have to do is to relax all is good i am sure

How did you pay WT or BTC?
If it was WT you will have to wait a little bit probably . I think BTC payment as preferred method has higher shipping priority and WT follows
2191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 07, 2013, 10:31:54 PM
on DHL's tracking website, the description is:

INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLER (ENG SAM

cut off after that.

presumably it says engineering sample.

I dont get why everyone needs to know this, let the box arrive and be as discreet as possible...

Probably to reduce possible import duties in some countries.
Not at all..anyway. The good news is that our toys are coming:)

2192  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 07, 2013, 10:12:25 PM
low 200x1xx
Please share the invoice content also can you? Erase your personal info i need to know how unit is named
thank you very much in advance

why, just ask him in private.

Because i am not the only one Smiley anyway...It is just a name i am not asking for his private data, home adress credit card number or whatever which is personal information

Just for the record did you pay already?  Maybe  pickup address is  given first and after you check the units you will proceed with payment. I am curious....
10X

no of course i did not pay already. i am not that "adventurous". after filling out the form you are just redirected to a thank-you page - which, after refreshing showed a different name than mine... not exactly super-professional.

still thinking its 90% scam propability, but my greed and curiosity is simply too strong.
Smiley
Ok but which address are  you going to visit? I am just curious if some of the pages showed the address or it is mailed or whatever. Anyway beer is good and chicks are pretty you will enjoy it:)
2195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 07, 2013, 08:08:45 PM
i am willing to risk a drive down to budapest. its about 2.5 hours for me.

it could even evolve into a gorgeous bitcoin meetup down there, we should hang out in a pub and chat a little if anyone else is coming. it would also make sense to check out the devices together to see if they are really working. if we have power connection i could provide data roaming. the car with 220V does only provide 150 Watts of power Smiley

i ordered some units there with local pickup. it will be interesting to see if anything substantial comes from it. i still suspect scam, but i am willing to pleasantly suprised.

I'm interested to see if anyone gets a response if they select local pickup...
Not before payment Smiley
It is just simple and clear BitSync shall state if they are real or not period.
And save the next 20 pages in this tread:)
2197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch 1- Who got tracking? on: March 07, 2013, 05:44:23 PM
Training people takes time and effort too, you know. NGZhang will have quite a story to tell us when this is done, I'm sure.
He want tell us i am sure, but that is not important know. I personally would love to know the story too Smiley
2198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch 1- Who got tracking? on: March 07, 2013, 05:40:14 PM
The final assembly looks very simple. I could make 10 an hour if all the parts and such were ready to go.

Assembling the board and loading software and testing could take longer. Who knows how the QA goes. Do they IR every heatsink and board? How long is the burn in/testing phase, etc.

I feel that nghzang is the only one who is doing it Sad He  works too much and not beeping online almost 5 days now.  It is very sad because he had a lot of knowledge and skills and they are wasted assembling boxes.

This is what i think is happening now...
I don't think so... Why not taking a few workers for like 100€/month? Afraid that they will stole the units?
Because that is his style he always wants things to be perfect and he is doing it because he wants to

It needs a host computer, it says, so a laptop should be fine, but I think the main problem would be connectivity, namely roaming charges.
If this is for real i can offer you OpenWRT host tplink + usb+8M Flash+64M of moded ram+latest cgminer amusing it is avalon. PM me if somone is interested. Note EU only. Host computer will consume 5W max:)
