2181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 11, 2022, 09:44:14 PM
Yes, unfortunately, I agree. I think that sooner or later (it can happen in several years) all the regulated casinos will prohibit withdrawing money if you're not KYC verified. We are still far from really widespread use of cryptocurrencies in the gambling world. With the changing legislation and ongoing legislative campaigns, new rules will likely appear that will require cryptocurrency platforms to register as casinos or bookmakers. But for now, there are still plenty of sites on the Internet that don't require mandatory KYC and which support anonymous gambling. I myself don't like the idea that my personal information is in the hands of some authority. They could connect your personal data to your gambling activities which indeed shouldn't be publicized. And I believe that this is not just my opinion. We'll just have to wait and see how things develop.
Some casinos require KYC due to new regulatory factors that casinos have to follow for their users, I believe we want to remain anonymous for gambling activities but if new regulations on KYC will legalize for all casinos then gamblers should prepare KYC for that, I think casinos should prove trust in authority not to blame the identity of others.
Maybe yes year's will come and also new regulatory factors which is some or other casinos need to ask KYC before the withdrawal or even before playing in that casino. But in this kind of situation must be better if there's no further KYC to ask because it's better to hide our personal information or identity in order to prevent such issues. And customers has a right to keep his/her identity.

Sometimes we need to do something which required by the law and KYC is one of that so if a person didn't like to submit this even if they know that the casino is regulated by a law then I think they can hop in on another casino which doesn't implement this yet. Providing our KYC details is not totally mandatory and we have a freedom to choose so go what we think suitable for us to avoid stress on unnecessary things.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Myths that we often hear on: August 11, 2022, 12:14:59 PM
lol, I'm really amused by the 9th fact Cheesy I'm a gambler and have never even violated the speed limit. I wonder how many people believe that?
Not all gamblers are involved in criminal actives but some are involved, have seen someone before that will have to steal just to gambling, the guy is addicted to gambling and can do anything to get money to gamble. I believe those that involve in criminal activities just to finance their gambling are those that are really addicted to gambling, but people that gamble just for fun or relaxation don't really involve in crimal activities that's why I always advise people not to be addicted to gambling.

This crime will happen if the person will get hook to much on gambling and he didn't get proper guidance from his relatives that's why they go on darkest point on their life. If they are already doing crime just to have money to gamble I guess its better for this people to go to rehab and any other help like advices will not really work at them, also believing any myths that can change them will for sure not work since this need professional intervention.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: August 11, 2022, 10:46:04 AM
Cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen stated on the InvestAnswers podcast that the most promising altcoins on the first-level blockchains in this market cycle are Ethereum, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX) and Polkadot (DOT).

Source of news in Russian

What do you think about this? Do you agree with his opinion?

Even if he is good on his field still he cannot predict the flow of all altcoins in the market. I'm sure he just guessing thru the alts he holds or even following so I guess its not ideal for us to follow what he mention because this guys create something like this to make their name controversial. We also need to do our research and our god feel as well as experience is more valuable since we are the one who can help us earn on our trades.
2184  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 10, 2022, 11:18:47 PM
DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON DUELBITS IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ASKED FOR KYC AT THE TIME YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW

THEY LET YOU CREATE ACCOUNT... DEPOSIT... BET... NO SIGN OF KYC ANYWHERE... UNTIL YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR FUNDS

Better read the TOS as other people suggested you to do because from there you can read a lot of things what casino requires you to do. Also if the money involves is huge and if they find it questionable due to activities you made for sure a casino will verify your details so that they can see that the real owner still handling the account, just threat this as sign of protecting your account so Kyc is not a big deal at all.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 10, 2022, 09:48:43 PM
You're certainly right about that! Don't know why Durant feels that he is that much entitled to let the owner choose between him or the general manager and head coach, where does that come from? Yes, he is a great player and is a 2x NBA champion but this is way over his head though.
Joe Tsai doesn't need to choose because as you said, the franchise is under no obligation to follow Durant's requests. Let him sit in his whole contract if he doesn't want to play because the time that the contract is finished, he will be older enough to know that he won't amount that much anymore.

It looks like Joe Tsai is not going to choose. He's already mentioned that the coaching staff and front office have his support, and the Nets' management will make the decision primarily in the best interest of the Nets. So Durant's attempts to manipulate the owner's decision have been fruitless. Also, as stated earlier, other teams simply can't or don't want to offer key players for Durant. That means Durant will probably be forced to play for the Nets next season, even if he really doesn't want it.

Not good to drop all for a player so its best choice for tsai to select his coaching staff because for this they have chance to improve their organization if they don't have black sheep on their team. Even if how talented Durant is but if he acts like that for sure he will never be a perfect fit on a team because this one can destroy their focus since this could create pressure and other negative things to the team.

Maybe try it for yourself I'm sure you have a withdrawal button on your account if you have some and if you have problem regarding on that then maybe contact their support then raise this issue. I don't say they are scam since its early to tell and didn't see any people claiming about they can't withdraw their funds yet on this casino. But anyways let see if other people can do what you request here.
2187  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do believe that Bitcoin will be more scarce than gold on: August 10, 2022, 10:19:23 AM
Why need to compare bitcoin to gold? if you have something to invest with this better pick two since for sure both of this assets is good to have and they have different usage according to what people's intention. I guess people need to stop comparison between two assets because we cannot get accurate answer with this since every people who support both of those assets have different opinion and everyone is right according to what they believe on that discussions made.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 09, 2022, 10:58:30 PM
I don't think LeBron would go back to the Cavs either.  For a lot of reasons.  His home is in LA now and that's where he's been raising his kids.  It's their home now.  Their connection to Cleveland probably isn't as deep as you think.  The Lakers have also shown with Shaq Jr (I know that's not his name) and Lil Pippen that they're willing to pick up second generation NBA players to give them a shot.  Neither was a major selection and neither is likely to make the team, but I think they did it to show to LeBron that there's a family culture on the Lakers he wants to be a part of.  Cleveland ownership doesn't even like LeBron.  The only way they'd draft his son is to use him as trade bait for whoever is trying to lure LeBron.

It seems to me it would be extremely wrong if the Lakers or any team decided to sign LeBron's son just to get LeBron himself on their roster. I mean, LeBron's son shouldn't have any advantages or prerogatives because of his father. If he's really talented enough, he should prove it and fight for the high pick in the NBA draft on the same terms as the other rookies.

For championship aims its not really good scenario to have because for sure this might became a rebuilding mode to them as Lebron age at that time.

But if we talk about business matters well its good for a team to do that since imagine the hype can bring by father and son duo which many fans awaits. For sure this action will convert to more ticket sales knowing that many LBJ fans want to see that game to happen.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH could take over. on: August 09, 2022, 09:46:05 PM
Am I the only one seeing that ETH is decoupling from BTC? If this happens and Ethereum becomes a better target for institutional then it is finished, many altcoins depends on Ethereum but the whole market depends on BTC, what do you think will happen

For ranking top 2 on the list it doesn't mean that it will decoupling bitcoin since at this point many people still trust bitcoin and if you talk about crypto bitcoin first will be in minds of all people. So may be Ethereum will struggle or find hard ways to over power bitcoin because if this coin dump all of the coins including ethereum will dump to so we cannot see this one happening although Ethereum is best alternative next to bitcoin.
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 09, 2022, 12:18:41 PM
Correct, but many people are not informed enough about the tracking abilities that companies have these days, so they make the mistake of keeping their old smartphone or email accounts and that is how those companies keep sending them information related to gambling.

So it is not surprising that now leaving an addiction behind is becoming more and more difficult, and while it is obvious that it can still be done, it is not as if those companies are making the life of those people any easier.
It should not be easy for these people to give their email account addresses or mobile numbers to other parties so that they will not receive information about offers to play gambling again if they move. This is very important to note so that we will not become victims again because, after all, we want to avoid gambling so we decide to move places. But it will all be useless if their offers still tempt us because we can easily follow them without thinking twice, making our life riskier.
It was not hard to ignore those emails if we really wanted to change our lives and stop gambling forever.
With the help of our family, nothing is impossible as long as we help ourselves as well. We have to make busy our minds think about something (not gambling) to diversify our focus and let addiction heal gradually until it was done. It needs a new environment and I believe this is a very effective way.

With help of your family little by little those people who got addicted will get away by this addiction but they also need to help their selves because if their family members do all what they can do to help them out and still the person affected is not participating nor helping his self maybe all of those efforts will be nothing. For this changing environment away from gambling scene will be suitable case to those people because for sure slowly by slowly they might forget about gambling.
2191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 09, 2022, 10:38:14 AM
That's all marketing. The usual way of marketing is through bounties but once the token has already gained traction, popularity, and momentum. They don't need it anymore and that's why they're going to focus on the use case and development of it which goes under the casino itself and why they've made the token. And the fact that they did a token is for their improvement and other offers to be good and that's why they've done that. Also, they can use any other marketing aside from those bounties and I do typically see most ads pop on search engines.
There are many ways that casinos will use to attract gamblers so that they can get more members who will register on their site. Giving bonuses in the form of tokens is one of the ways that casinos may often use. Before the casino gives bonus tokens, the casino needs to consider how members can use the tokens to their advantage. If they can give this to their members, there's a good chance that more people will join the casino for bonus tokens that they can use for other benefits.
It's like a domino effect that they've seen this success of making tokens from the other casinos. And it's all really about crowdfunding to help the site upgrade and become better.
I salute those casinos despite their popularity, they're not dwelling and diving into this idea of having their own tokens because they can sustain their operations just how it used to be.

Yes since basically that means that those casino didn't join the token creation scene have enough funds to sustain their business and we can't see some reason about doing something bad in future because they are self sustainable already. Compare to those casino which offer a tokens to their users and I really find that little questionable since first they need to sustain the price of their token since if this one dump maybe this will lead to their existing and other players to lose their interest playing on those casino's.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 08, 2022, 11:09:52 PM
In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash.
So, how is KD going to get a coach fired who, he himself handpicked? haha. I guess he's done that before.

I don’t know why KD feels he can issue ultimatums like this. He’s under contract. What is he going to do, sit out all season and not get paid while losing another year of his career at the end of his prime? The Nets are under no obligation to do anything for him. After the annoyance Kyrie has been though, this strategy of being a squeaking wheel might work. Seems like KD and Kyrie want to blow up the organization and move on. They moved quick.

Maybe he's replicating what harden do so that the Nets will be force to trade him because of this bullshit team. Maybe they need to restructure this side and create rules that if a player sign a contract he need to finish it since many stars abuse this and destroy the team rooster as well as the chemistry because of the drama created by this spoiled stars.
2193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC make a new high in 2022? If not then what will be peak point? on: August 08, 2022, 02:02:06 PM
As we see BTC make a lower of this year round about 17K$. Now BTC is consistently moving around 22-24K$. Many big whales buy BTC of worth of 10M$ and much more. Big whales are investing for long term and thinking about it will make a newer high. A newer high will be in the end of this year and next few years. A new higher will not be formed in the end of this year.

My opinion is peak point of BTC in this year will be above 50K$. A good opportunity for Buyers. Your opinion will be acknowledged.
Not a single day within this bear season do I think the price of Bitcoin will reach high above $40k. From the 2nd quarter of this year until today, we have never seen it rises back to $25k. Whale's participations are very quiet, even for these institutional investors - these are some indications that it was hopeless to see the market in big rallies. Maybe I was wrong but from what I see, we may end up this year still in a bearish condition.
$30k-$35k - that was my prediction

Whale participation maybe lessen since they don't know how this bear market last so we can guess that majority of investors are been so careful upon putting their investment on current condition. And I don't see any reason why bitcoin could reach another ATH this year, maybe there some good factors but I think that's not enough since for sure people need to see some good rally before they go to state where they got FOMO.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 08, 2022, 11:28:55 AM
Skill-based casino games can probably count as sports, although it is obvious that other games such as dice, slots, and roulettes would not qualify. When we mention sports, basketball, boxing, and the likes come into play. Chess is considered a sport, although it does not involve lots of physicalities in order to be considered one, just two people using their minds to better the other. In poker or other card games, that is also the case, although luck and randomness play key roles in the success of the players in the game.
While most of the players prefer betting in sports that are played with skills and strategies, some still go with quick profiting trying to hit those jackpot prizes, and are also quick to lose their funds. That is why if we want to gamble more reasonably, gambling in sports would be the most profitable one since we got bigger chances to win especially if we know how the game is played well.
People try their luck on luck base game because they are trying to hit big jackpot if there's huge prize at stake. Also some are bored since they can't find good match up where they are familiar with that's why some other guys spend time just to have fun waiting for the schedule on the sports they want to bet. Gambling on sports might be profitable if you know which team are good to bet on but even though how good we are on the sports we are betting on still the game is rolling and anything can happen so there's still chance to lose upon betting specially if we didn't research if they have complete rooster on the game.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Solana still a thing? on: August 06, 2022, 12:31:47 PM
Solana goes completely against the idea that cryptocurrency must be decantralised. It's possibly the most centralised "mainstream" altcoin with a shady team that has historically lied about not only the fundamentals of the project like the circulating supply, but the shady members of the team have also been caught for fraud.

Much more advanced, more decantralised and Secure Level 2 competitors like MATIC exist, which have had infinitely better uptime, and security. Solana is not the cheapest, nor the fastest competitor either, so that's not in it's favour. There's few projects. Fewer with any reasonable legitimacy. It's just a hyper inflated L2 that has nothing holding it up other than hype and NFTs as fundamentals.

The only thing Solana has been consistent in, is underperforming, having outages, missing road map targets, getting hacked, and making false promises.

How many time does SOL have to be hacked, fucked, and stomped to actually die?
People don't really care about the problem, they only focus on their coins, this is a picture of people who like the coins, some of these people are one of the reasons why they began to be abandoned, because this chaos could not be overcome perfectly, maybe the difference Between the blockchain and the coin holder is not directly involved, so this problem is still considered normal or it could be the opposite

Sometimes the possible profit is what main focus of the investors who keep buying it and since its ecosystem has so many investment choices to pick then provably this one create demands to their coin. But actually if we want for long term I guess we shouldn't trust this since maybe the same scenario which happen to Terra/UST might also happen to them so we need to open up on those consequences so that we will not encounter any huge loss.
2196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Spinomenal Series Tournament 🏆 100,000 USDT prize pool on: August 06, 2022, 11:01:38 AM
Just read the announcement on Bitcasino telegram and Evil Geniuses twitter there will be a giveaway 3 signed jersey
Want to take this opportunity? just follow those 2 accounts and retweet
I never won any of these social media giveaways and I participated in many of them over time which is why I basically treat them like lotteries due to the unfavourable odds.

However, I already participated in this one since I am an eSports fan and I enjoy watching teams like Liquid, EG etc play now and then.
That's pretty cool. I love DOTA 2 and I love EG as well. They are off to a bad start and I really really want them to start winning in their next games in order to secure a slot at The International. I cannot imagine TI without EG.

Maybe @Bitcasino.io Support can reserve us some or at least one signed EG jersey exclusive to bitcointalk participants only. That would be a great remembrance from Bitcasino and EG.  Grin

Indeed this is great idea knowing the hype is so huge in Dota scene right now especially Arlington major is on the road  so for sure those people who likes gambling plus Dota will be hype up for the exclusive merch they can possibly get on Bitcasino.

So this is really great merch to acquire by the fans of EG together with Bitcasino to.
2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Portuguese Banks Stop the use of Cryptos (Bitcoin) on: August 05, 2022, 11:16:32 PM
On the 5th of August, 2022, bitcoin news. Portuguese Banks Stop using crypto (bitcoin) for exchange in the their local banks. That is the users of bitcoin or the bitcoiners can buy and sell bitcoin and othe crypto currencies in the country. But even though the bitcoiners can not use and exchange bitcoin in the country, they can go to a near by country to do the exchange but it will still affect them in their own country unless they permanently stay in the country. https://news.bitcoin.com/portuguese-banks-close-accounts-of-crypto-exchanges-media-reveals

Not surprising since bank really doesn't have clear stands towards the real score of legitimacy upon transacting crypto to them maybe there government trying to control the full rotation of crypto into their ecosystem that's why banks start to open up this case. But don't worry with that since for sure bitcoin users in that country will find many ways to exchange there bitcoin since there are so many choices available online and they can still exchange BTC to USD so there's no big deal on what banks decisions done with it.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 05, 2022, 01:54:52 PM

That's how streamers do their business with their viewers in terms of promoting something since they want to get a best result for theirselves so we need to be more smart upon checking on what they are saying since most provably they are just trying lure us so that they can get tons of money for getting more people to register on their provided referral links.

They are getting tons of money but from those viewers who are watching them and from the pocket of the casino house that they are promoting, it's true that we needed to be more wise following those streamers who intentionally luring us to visit the site and start playing the game, remember that in gambling its more on luck base and there's no proven strategy that will be exposed to suck the house funds.

One of the reason why I don't mostly watch any random streamers promoting some casino especially when they are only playing on 1 platform only since mostly they are promoter of that casino and we cannot get quality substance on their contents.

People should know that luck based games really will matter depends on your luck to win a small or big amount of money.

2199  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: August 05, 2022, 11:23:42 AM
yea i added to my post, ofc been in contact with support and they non answers/blame technical issues.
even talked to their  bitcointalk rep on here and he said he would get back to me and still hasnt...
I know five days waiting is slow, but this is simply how Betnomi works, they are doing withdrawals manually and slower compared to other well known casinos I used.
You are not the only one reporting this, but they should resolve everything soon, so arm yourself with patience and don't worry.
Even a manual withdrawal shouldn't take 5 days. Betnomi really needs to get their stuff together at this point, they've been around long enough to know this isn't really how things should work.

Also if they didn't explain if the issue posted is legitimate or not nor explain why those issue exist to their user then maybe many of their gamblers will get confuse about their reputation. But I also believe that Betnomi will not create any bad action that can totally ruin their reputation so maybe its up for us to wait for their replies towards this since for sure many people are curious to know the answer if there's an issue like this float in their thread.
2200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: August 05, 2022, 10:25:48 AM
I think by looking at the track record from year to year, it is very reasonable to reach 100k. I'm ready to make a big profit, I've bought some Btc and I'm holding it until it reaches a fantastic number, I'm waiting until 2025 is something that makes sense

This one is possible but we need to look what will happen on next halving since for sure the price would provably dump the same on the previous events happened on it so I will just expect that we will still at 5 digits figures to be reach on that year. Since most provably once bitcoin reach at $100k many investors will take their profit and create fud to dump bitcoin since its so expensive to accumulate if bitcoin will go more farther to that numbers.
