2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin will never go to zero on: June 24, 2022, 05:19:45 AM

I really don't understand what can be the very reason why China would still allot some time and resources just to make a statement like that. They already kicked Bitcoin out of China so why still wade into it. Can it because they know that the government of China has not actually stamped out Bitcoin from the people...meaning that there still some number of Chinese who continually believe and hold Bitcoin? Frankly speaking, I am also getting discouraged with Bitcoin but if I have the money to do so maybe I would be buying more BTC because with this statement coming from China the opposite is actually coming: BTC will soon be gaining grounds and not grind to zero!

Many Chinese people are still using Bitcoin/crypto illegally. That's why the Chinese authorities keep the FUD propaganda. They simply cannot stop all the crypto enthusiasts in from using cryptocurrencies.
The seconds reason is pushing the digital yuan, by trying to FUD on the cryptocurrencies.
I wonder why the Chinese FUDsters are so focused on Bitcoin. BTC is the most stable and secure cryptocurrency(by stable I mean that the blockhain is stable, not the price). BTC price might never go down to zero. The FUDsters should be focused on the shitcoins, because the shitcoins are the real problem of the crypto world, not Bitcoin.

2182  Economy / Gambling / Re: I can beat bet365, but cant find good seller. Increese your acc 50/50 profit!!! on: June 23, 2022, 06:20:14 AM
You want to use someone else's bet365 account. This is against the ToS and the account will get banned sooner or later.
You have a secret method to exploit some kind of vulnerability in bet365? This against their ToS and it's most likely illegal. The account will get banned and the IP address will get permanently blacklisted.
Just do your "secret method" with your own money, try to create an account by yourself (use residential proy, socks proxy or good VPN, I don't care) and see what happens. 99,9% you will get banned, IP blacklisted and lose your money.
Anyway, I'm assuming that you actually don't have a working exploit method and this is some kind of stupid scam.

The Economic Daily report says the west is to blame for creating a highly-leveraged market that is “full of manipulation and pseudo-technology concepts” which it said was an “important external factor” which contributes to Bitcoin’s volatility.

“Bitcoin is nothing more than a string of digital codes, and its returns mainly come from buying low and selling high,” said the newspaper.

The best propaganda is when they mix truth with lies. Grin
Let's be honest here, the crypto markets are full of manipulation, high leverage and pseudo-technology. The important thing is that Bitcoin isn't  connected to those accusations. We the Bitcoin maximalists cannot be blamed by anyone for the thousands of shitcoins, crypto scams, stablecoins, NFTs, HYIP scams, which are true "pseudo-technology". We never asked for this shit and putting the blame on us is simply wrong.
Yes, the Bitcoin price is volatile, but so what? Aren't stocks and commodity prices volatile as well?
Crypto traders are really making money by buying low and selling high. Is this a crime or something?
Aren't stocks and commodity traders also making money by buying low and selling high?
2184  Economy / Economics / Re: {Economy} What is happening in Japan? on: June 22, 2022, 10:57:07 AM
The Debt/GDP ratio of Japan has been known for decades. Did you recently find out about this info?
I'm not familiar with the structure of the Japanese debt, but it seems that there's no major problem with it, since there's no attention coming from the mainstream financial media. I assume that Japan has lots of domestic debt and domestic debt isn't such a big problem, compared to foreign debts. I also assume that the debt has a pretty long term repayment structure. Most of the payments are postponed for several decades.
The biggest problem of Japan is not the national debt. The biggest problem is the bad demographics: less young people and more old people. This will cause a drastic change in the Japanese economy and social security system in the upcoming decades.

I think it will just be a matter of time before other sports organization will follow after them. Will there be a good market for this? I don't know but bookies will probably open a different line for the events exclusive for them. Would you bet if they do?

So you think that the bookies would allow bets about sports events, where transgender women are competing against biological women?
Is that what you are trying to say? I don't think that this will happen, because:
1. Most sports federations won't allow transgender women to compete against biological women.
2. Transgender women playing against actual women doesn't seem fair to me and this will deviate the odds.
Sports bookies would definitely stay away from sports, where the competition isn't fair and it's possible for the result to be predicted.
I think that there will be separate sports events and contests for transgender people only. This might seem like discrimination, but I don't see any other way around this problem.
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History is always on the side of innovation(bitcoin), not the side of skeptics on: June 22, 2022, 05:18:20 AM
Bitcoin/crypto being constantly compared to the Dotcom bubble is something I'm annoyed with. Grin
Bitcoin is not a company and it never will be. Don't compare Bitcoin to Amazon, compare Coinbase to Amazon.
Bitcoin(blockchain technology) is a technology and we should compare it to other technologies, not companies.
There are many inventions and innovations, that were promising, but failed eventually. Nobody can guarantee that Bitcoin(blockchain) will be successful in the long run. There's no other utility for the blockchain other than serving as an infrastructure for Bitcoin. The experts in the past were claiming that blockchain can be used in multiple industries, but there's no successful example of blockchain technology helping a certain industry. Perhaps this might happen in the future.
2187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook free speech is dead it's time we move to non US social networks on: June 21, 2022, 10:25:02 AM
What makes you think that the non US social networks are better than than the US social networks?
If you want 100% free speech just host your own blog and write your thoughts there. Almost nobody will read your posts, but at least nobody will censor your free speech. There's no way for the social networks to win the war against trolling, propaganda, fake news, manipulation, hate speech, etc.
Do you really think that the Russian social networks like Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki are better than Facebook, Twitter and Instagram?
Is there any Chinese social network that offers completely free speech and absolutely no censorship? I don't think so.
I've made my mind years ago and I simply don't waste my time on social media.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: National Sports and Sports Betting on: June 21, 2022, 06:02:54 AM
I don't get the point of your forum thread, OP. You are posting a bunch of obvious facts and expect us to discuss them?
Yes, sports like European football, tennis and basketball are pretty much global, while other sports like cricket, rugby, ice hockey, American football  and baseball are pretty much tied to one country or a bunch of countries(mostly Anglo-saxon countries like USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and India). And so what? The people are free to bet on their favorite sport. Its doesn't matter if their favorite sport is global or regional. Soccer is the most popular global sport and most people bet on soccer. Soccer is also my favorite sport. I used to care about boxing, tennis, volleyball and basketball(when I was young), but now I care only about soccer.
2189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 21, 2022, 05:33:46 AM
I don't expect the bearish market to end soon. The crypto winter will continue to 2023-2024.
The Bitcoin price is recovering from the extreme FUD storm and the extreme panic, that was dominating the crypto markets in the previous week. That doesn't mean that the BTC price will go back to 30K-40K anytime soon.
This might be a "dead cat bounce" and the price might soon go down to 15K-17K USD.
I expect a decent bull run back to 30K in the Q4 of 2022 (assuming there aren't any crypto exchanges collapsing and no big FUD news).
It's too early to get excited about a small bounce back of the BTC price. However, I'm still bullish in the long run.
2190  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: June 20, 2022, 11:12:29 AM
The book "Rich dad, poor dad" isn't about trading. AFAIK, it was about buying and selling real estate and gathering more assets, while reducing your liabilities. It was about having a good cashflow and multiple income sources, while trying to reduce your costs. Crypto trading has little to do with this. Of course, Robert Kiyosaki is teaching the good old "failure is a big part of success" common sense stuff. You don't really need this book, in order to know that losing and failing is a big part of life and you can't win all the time. Opportunities come and go and losing or wasting an opportunity shouldn't make you frustrated. Everything can be summarized in one sentence- Put your ego under control and stay humble.
2191  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZHB77.com: [USDT/RMB Betting] BIG BONUS [Quick Payout] 真好博亚洲新娱乐网 on: June 20, 2022, 10:50:03 AM
1.You have to make a proper announcement thread. Buy copper membership and hire a good designer.
2.ZNB77.com seems like a really weird name to me. I guess that this name might make sense to the Asian players, but for players outside Asia it seems weird. Does the name of your website have a hidden meaning or something?
Do you plan to focus on the Asian market only, or you want to expand your gambling business worldwide?
Anyway, good luck with growing your gambling business, OP.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador loses more than half the value of its reserves in bitcoins on: June 20, 2022, 05:18:43 AM
Bukele has balls of steel. Staying pro-Bitcoin in times like these deserves respect. Not sucking up to the IMF also deserves respect.
You lose only when you sell so all this BS about El Salvador "losing money" is nothing more but FUD and hating on Bitcoin. I've already said that Bitcoin cannot be blamed for the crypto winter/bearish market/price crash, but the BTC haters keep insisting that crypto is scam and crypto is doomed to fail.
I'm not sure for how long Bukele will resist the pressure coming from the International Monetary Fund. El Salvador might be in desperate need for this 1.4 billion USD loan.
2193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 19, 2022, 10:50:05 AM
I'm not panicking, actually I'm quite happy a big clean-up is coming.

There are more than a thousand altcoins, let's get real 99% are sh*tcoins.
Celsius failed because it promised abnormal returns on your investment.
Some exchanges allow trading with too much leverage.

Some will die, but I'm confident the market will be much healthier when it recovers.

Shitcoins will always be a thing in the crypto world. The old shitcoins will die into oblivion and new shitcoins will emerge.
ICO tokens, IEO tokens, NFTs are gone. DeFi might be coming close to an end. We are waiting for the next big thing. The next shiny object.
Anyway, the assumption that everybody in the crypto market is panicking and selling their Bitcoins because of fear is kinda wrong.
Many traders are acting like "bears" in the moment. They are selling now in order to buy later at a lower price. There's no panic in this behavior.
There's nothing wrong with being a bearish trader.
2194  Economy / Gambling / Re: around 1.6 billion people worldwide gamble, What about a poker gamefi?? on: June 19, 2022, 06:29:05 AM
What the hell is "gamefi"? It sounds like a meaningless variation of DeFi.
What makes a gamefi poker game better than a conventional online poker game?
Your data about worldwide gambling is misleading. The vast majority of the people are playing poker for free.
I don't believe that 1.6 billion people are active gamblers. This is just way too much exaggerated.
Please elaborate more on your gamefi idea. Otherwise your post seems like nonsense.

Gamefi is that p2e kind of stuff right? I'm pretty sure NFT's have been integrated into some casinos so that it gives gamblers some sort of Rakeback or advantages, rollbit has it afaik and there are probably a few more out there that have it. There's also been an NFT slots idea iirc? Outside of that, I don't think you can turn Gamefi anymore without breaking the luck factor involved. It also doesn't really suit the model of gambling imo, not unless casinos are able to create a new game outside of the usual ones we have.

On a side note, download count only says one side of the story, maybe add daily user count if possible?

Breaking the "luck factor" will ruin the game for sure. Adding such NFT features might turn the game into "pay-to-win" which will ruin the overall experience and most of the gamblers will simply refuse to bet money on such game.

2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Several reasons explaining the Crypto Price Crash (without BS) on: June 19, 2022, 06:08:04 AM
Most of the crypto businesses(like Celsius) were built on unsecure foundations. The situation on the global financial markets changed and those crypto companies are going south. Some libertarians say that the market always finds a way to kick out the companies that aren't flexible, competitive and stable enough to survive on harsh conditions.
BTC and the big altcoins crashed because of the overall panic caused by centralized crypto services having problems with keeping their promises and not having enough coins to payback their investors. If we add the global situation, we get the perfect FUD storm.
The sad part is that Bitcoin didn't work as a safe heaven and a protection against inflation. I guess that the Bitcoin cycle (if there is a cycle) cannot be interrupted by the global macroeconomic cycle.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Elon Musk sued for 258 billion USD over alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. on: June 17, 2022, 10:20:09 AM
I'm sorry if there's another forum post about this topic. I couldn't find anything about this news, so I'm posting it here.
Elon Musk is about to get sued for alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. We all knew that his Dogecoin shilling will come back and bite him in the a$$. Grin
Is dogecoin a pyramid scheme? Is this a rhetorical question? Grin Any doge supporters here?

2197  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: June 17, 2022, 05:55:23 AM
The webpage seems generic, but on the other hand it's clean and straight to the point, without any flashy distracting images and unnecessary stuff. I like the black color. Bright colors are a bad idea for casino webpages, since most gamblers are gambling online late at night.
I prefer clean casino webpages, rather than flashy and full with images. Buying a casino script has it's pros and cons. The lack of uniqueness and originality can be seen as a flaw. I would remove the chat feature, since I hate using chat when I'm gambling, but that's just me.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin for your business just like Tesla: Report on: June 17, 2022, 05:31:28 AM
If you are a business owner, you will have to ask yourself what's the point of accepting a currency, which is valued at 20K USD in the first year, goes above 60K the second year and it drops to 15K on the third year? Grin The business owners want stability and predictability and Bitcoin is anything else but stable and predictable. Adding BTC/crypto payments just to convert them to fiat money right away doesn't make any sense. The crypto demographic isn't that big, It's probably less than 0.5% of the global population. No business would break a leg and an arm in order to please a few hardcore crypto enthusiasts.
Tesla is a "government baby", that would have gone bankrupt, if it wasn't the US government supporting them. I can't take this company seriously.

Only Gamblers hold until they lose it all.
That is the one screaming hodl, no matter if the price is at an ATH or ATL.
While they cry 1 btc=1btc, well 1 turd=1 turd , and no one give a shit.    Cool

Let me remind you something.
Bitcoin isn't crashing because it's shit or a scam. Bitcoin is crashing because the global situation is shit: high inflation, interest rate hikes, upcoming recession, war in Ukraine, food and fuels going up, supply chains getting disrupted. Bitcoin can't be blamed for any of the above.
There's nothing wrong with the Bitcoin Core blockchain. There's no internal problem inside Bitcoin Core. The problem is outside Bitcoin Core and outside the blockchain.
Of course, many centralized crypto scams are about to crash: Luna crashed, Celsius will crash, others will follow, but this isn't something bad for Bitcoin Core and the blockchain.
It's easy to shit over crypto, when the markets are crashing. Where were you hiding last year, when the price hit a new ATH? Grin
2200  Economy / Economics / Re: Apple wants to replace all passwords with biometrics on: June 16, 2022, 10:53:30 AM
Adding biometric verification would mean a total end for online privacy.
I'm no expert in spying technologies, but your smartphone can basically track your location, your browsing history, even your phone calls.
What if your smartphone is spying even more sensitive data like fingerprints, iris, etc? Who is going to guarantee that this data won't be leaked? I don't trust Apple.
Using weak passwords as a excuse to implement biometric verification seems like a weak excuse. Apple could just impose rules for stronger passwords, like minimum amount of characters, numbers, capital letters, special characters. This isn't rocket science.
It seems like the "big tech" wants to spy on us even more.
