2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: August 31, 2022, 03:26:39 PM
The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money.
Not true for every person. An old aged person trying to save their money while investing the same to make some more will always be skeptical about their money and hence be cautious about newly launched assets that their government has turned a "grey eye" to. Try to think of it from their perspective and you will understand.

Quote
However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.
I dont blame education systems but how a person takes their education. If they keep an open outlook they will be able to learn a lot more. But this does not mean that they will go for bitcoin. Rather they may stick to traditional assets. It depends on a lot of other factors.

I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.
If you keep thinking of yourself to be a victim you will not be able to progress. But there is a time to everything and it is possible you might profit a lot from your bitcoin portfolio.

2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the school lessons of gambling addiction? on: August 31, 2022, 03:21:54 PM
School lessons if done in a two way interactive way can be possibly helpful to many students who are entering puberty or adulthood. Because these are the times one can go in to the wrong steps of gambling, drug addiction and so on.

Why just gambling, there are lot of evils one can go into and a lot of psychological problems too. These things can be countered and probably be able to save some lives in the future. So I would be happy to see such developments if done in the proper way.

Currently kids are addicted to reward seeking behavior through games on phones and social media, such things fuel the tendency to go for other methods to seek rewards, like gambling.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i diversify my crypto portfolio? on: August 30, 2022, 06:38:38 AM
How should i diversify my crypto portfolio?

I feel like im gambling by going all in one crypto like ETH and the drops are hitting me very hard with its high volatility compared to BTC
Rather if you did the same with bitcoin you might have had better outcomes.

However I must clarify one thing - any top coin on CMC or CG list can be a profitable coin if you get in at a low price. Possible that your buying price was much higher.

So instead of diversifying the number of assets, you should diversify the positions of the same coin. Buy the same at lower price and wait for the price to rise so you can sell.

You can also buy Bitcoin, but since your reserve money might be low at this point I would not suggest it as the first step. This can be done when you get your next salary. Please do keep an eye on charts and buy accordingly at low price, otherwise don't buy.
2184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 30, 2022, 06:31:08 AM
It's natural to see the increase or decrease of a coin that you have. If you have good knowledge maybe it will be very easy to make $100 a day but maybe more. so you should look for more in-depth knowledge about what you are playing right now.
100$ a day is pretty difficult to make on an average market day. Spot trading might yeild the worse results on a single day but it's long term effect is good, because of the cumulative profits. The futures trading is a gamble for a few days which can lead to short term huge gains but this is based on your luck and therefore not much skills to put in.

In depth knowledge is limited in this space. There are places where you can learn but most coins don't give out information that can help you with futures trading, because most of that is insider info and majority of projects are giving only smoke and mirrors.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having losses? Or people are not going the right way on: August 30, 2022, 06:23:31 AM
You can't blame them for investing in altcoins, there's a diamond in the dirt and everyone's thinking that they should just keep on accumulating those coins because they wouldn't know which one is going to pump real fast so that they can become instant millionaires.
But the diamond here is very small or very few in number.

Truly the person investing in altcoin is to blame for their own losses. It is not that they are not advised against it on this forum. While most traders lose out some might profit but don't use this as an example.

Similar to any other speculative trading the people making money from it are way smaller than the people losing money. Here comes the realisation that majority of speculative assets are not worth putting money in if you don't have the reserves to back it up.

Bitcoin is currently having a bearish trend, does not mean that altcoins are going to go up. So people need to learn how to analyse the old charts and then be judgemental.
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 29, 2022, 02:08:14 PM
Since I have no knowledge about bitcoin mining, I prefer to buy bitcoin because it seems easier. I'm not sure if I'm correct, but it seems to me that the basics of mining are very difficult to understand, especially for us less experienced traders. Of course, if given the opportunity to learn how mining operates, I would jump at the chance.
Nothing is difficult to learn if you have the interest in it. Mining is no different, but the real problem lies in acquiring the ASICs and running them on a place that you own and maintain. It is more of a full-time job and trust me, the hash-war is not something you want to end up getting burnt in, your entire investment in the form of buying the ASICs, the plot, equipment and manpower will be difficult to get a ROI from.

And Cloud mining is a scam, without a doubt. Dont fall for those schemes.

On the contrary, buying bitcoin or earning it through different sources, is much less of a chore. You can hold it or sell it when you wish and get the fiat money to spend or spend the bitcoin directly if your country is compliant with it.

So for investment or future profit purpose, buying/earning bitcoin is what I recommend to every newbie.
2187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 29, 2022, 01:57:59 PM
I've heard of many people talk about cryptocurrency and its potentials all the time and at a point I begin to wonder if one can just depend fully on cryptocurrency as a means of livelihood.
Think about it this way, there is a stock market and people are trading on it. Does that mean they are so competent that they can depend fully on it or are such people living in constant anxiety and depression while coping with increasing debts?

This should not be the case here, we all want to live in a healthy manner and for that a source of stable income, possibly a day job has its importance. Second to that one needs to allocate money to saving and spending, in the spending group decide how to much spend on investments and that is how you should manage your money.

Going all in on crypto and following it as the source of your daily bread is a risky move to make.
2188  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: August 29, 2022, 01:51:02 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑
You see most users in crypto are not the ones who have the skill of being patient and willingness to learn, rather they want to get rich quick and hence the problem arises there. It is also correct to say that such users get cleaned off the charts very quickly on the next bull/bear cycle and are never heard of again.

I always encourage people to learn new things and hence I would always ask them to do something they love, but most may not be able to afford paid courses in e-commerce or so. Naturally most are not having the degree or the background education to pursue the same too, since not everything can be learnt online.

But learning something new may not may not improve their trading skills. So I dont understand your correlation here, rather is an anecdote.
2189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome a Bear Market in Cryptocurrency on: August 27, 2022, 05:26:50 AM
You cannot overcome a bear market, you have to play with it to your advantage. This can be done by dividing you available liquid investable assets into positions to buy at. Then let the market move as it wants to check only when they start getting executed.

If the drop is happening too quickly, just increase th difference between consecutive trades.

These are also times one needs to isolate from the market, learn something new or spend time with friends and family. Don't let the market control your emotions.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: August 27, 2022, 05:21:13 AM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks
A short question does not mean a simple question.

This is a question that goes on in every person's mind and an unpredictable one. Each of us wants to get the advantage beforehand but if that was the case we all would have become millionaires before you know it.

But you can observe the market and make some decisions to trade. Currently the market is somewhat stagnant and from here both directions are possible. You just have to wait and watch.
2191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 26, 2022, 09:06:44 AM
I agree with you and want to say if one is encouraged to do futures trading in the beginning then he is choosing the path of suicide in the beginning. Futures trading without knowledge is nothing but definite suicide. The volatility of cryptocurrencies is sometimes difficult to bear. But it is more serious in futures trade. Where newcomers are doomed to die.
Futures trading is risky and should be attempted by someone who is completely new to the market. There are many users who get washed away do not ever get up from their loss. This should not happen to every newbie.

Gradual learning of how spot trading works leads to better understanding of the market. Going for futures and other gambling types of trading means taking bigger risks.

Thing is that some newbies get influenced by many fake ideas promoted by shills promoting such types of trading.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 26, 2022, 06:29:36 AM
Just looks who shills it and vc behind it.

If it has a vc and a massive token unlock at the launch of the project, most likely you just become exit liquidity for them,
Haha, true that, with most currencies being just methods to exit scam the investors this is going to hurt the economy and make the newbies lose money before they know it.

VC will shill their projects so they can make profit and not the other way round. The losers will again invest in another similar hyped project and the cycle will repeat.

Potentially projects are almost equal to zero at this time. So better to keep bitcoin on focus and not go with any altcoin.
2193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of cryptocurrency on the global economy on: August 26, 2022, 06:22:25 AM
The global economy is much more  intricate than just the minetary side of it, and even with that, crypto will only be one of the options, not the only option. So the impact on economy in general won't be much. In time it could make some things shift around, but givernment acceptance dosen't equate to usage by people, and that's what moves the needle the most.
Government acceptance might improve the usage of the crypto but this happening in the right place and right time is having low probability. Using crypto currency will not make every person rich so this should be kept out the picture, only difference is the easy use and decentralisation.

If more companies push governments then it will become a possibility but this will happen gradually not rapidly. With the continuous negative outlook of certain groups towards crypto the path is difficult but possible to overcome.
2194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: August 25, 2022, 01:45:19 PM
That depends on how you trade. If you trade without preparation or a trading plan, then you are gambling.Trading involves proper planning and research. When you gamble, you think of being lucky and somehow make money.
I can somewhat agree, Gambling is more termed towards trying your luck or going for a EV- scheme. While trading needs backside research and homework to be able to place a spot trade, while leverage means more relying on luck. The boundaries between both might merge at some point but those who trade safe often know their limits.

Keeping yourself limited to spot trading means you are minimizing the amount of gambling you might be doing. That too on the long term scale would mean an even safer process.

In gamble there is 100% risk,if you play to get profit after some your all money gone, & in trading very less risk just Hodl to get profit.
Sport betting, Poker are something that needs skills and these have comparatively less dependency on luck. Trading can be risky too if you are going for those futures and options.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bounty hunter stolen crypto on: August 25, 2022, 01:34:49 PM
First of all i loss all my life saving to and crypto scam. But the coin is ETH. It seems that the assets are still on the scam site but i'm
blocked due false reasons to withdraw it.
You have probably been fooled into giving money to unlock a bigger amount and you fell for the greed and sent them your money. This has nothing to do with Ethereum, but your own folly.

Sorry to hear that you was your life savings, but I hope you learnt your lesson and you should also post in the "Scam Accusations" section of this forum about this site so other users who are diligent enough to first check will get a headstart through search engines.

Ethereum is only the medium of transaction, not the scammer. Just like fiat money is the mode of transaction in real life scams. Does that mean fiat money is at fault here?

I'm looking for an ethical hacker/crypto bounty hunter to help me recover my funds.
You will get scammed again, if you try this. Many scammers are going to appear as hacker or hunters and fool you again. I am sure you have already got some shady PMs on this forum after making this post, referring to the same.

Be careful in this sector if you are new to it.
2196  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 100$ on: August 25, 2022, 01:25:51 PM
I NEED 100$ of bitcoin loan
I will pay 120$ in 1 month
Sell the device which you are using to post in this forum. You will probably get more than 100$ and you will be free from the headache of paying back.

Without a collateral and considering your trust rating, only a fool will consider handing you any amount of money.
2197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mastering the market movement is what aid profits and not the price. on: August 24, 2022, 04:57:17 AM
That is why there is always the best time to trade and when not to trade particularly in bear market condition where trading is much more risky to perform. Although some pro traders still succeed in making profitable trades, but in most cases, when the market condition is very unstable, it’s hard to expect a successful trade most particularly with beginner traders.
The bear market need to be handled with care. Only buy when you feel the bottom has been reached and don't spend all of the budget right away. It is difficult to get this assessment correctly. While even lower drops are possible, don't be disheartened and continue to watch the market. All these things are a type of learning experience for many traders. It helps when you have backup stock market experience but even if someone does not, they can still learn to keep their cool.

The minimum skills needed here is patience which is lacking in maximum people. Also don't expect huge movments in short periods of time.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: August 24, 2022, 04:46:22 AM
I can understand the sentiment of some of the older XRP holders because they like to remain in a  status quo. While it is true that it is no doubt a "good" currency, the status of what good is defined by needs more critical thinking.

We have decentralised coins which is the heart of what bitcoin stands for. Then we have centralized coins of which XRP is a pioneer of, controlled in the similar way a bank works.

My advise to the OP is to learn about centralisation first and do some research on the same before investing. My opinion is not to look for potential but see long term profitable outcomes and freedom from control.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 24, 2022, 04:39:34 AM
Many projects carry the metaverse concept, although until now there is no successful project but I'm sure that metaverse is the future, this will make users more active for investing in cryptocurrencies, and from now on I always invest in the metaverse project even with a small amount which is less than $ 50.
Seems like a fairy tale to me, but truly if some tech company is able to develop a proper metaverse, people will drown in that beyond what social media. While investing in such a new project seems like a lucrative step, it is still in the space of evaluation and speculation.

Even 50$ would sound like a joke of such a thing becomes big. A lot of speculation at this point.

But what good it will do to bitcoin or in the general crypto ecosystem based on its impact is still questionable.
2200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: August 23, 2022, 03:37:07 PM
Just do the bounty in Altcoin bounty section, you will get some free money. If not than buy your best coin from exchange like Binance kucoin & hodl until get profit.
Users are free to do whatever bounties they wish for but we the older members of the forum have seen our juniors suffer because of such bounties which ghost its participants and the manager, refuse to pay out the coins or just abandon the project while the participants end up having done a trash load of work for literally nothing.

While the same participant is probably not in a position to apply for signature campaigns, hence they end up taking part in many bounty campaigns, most of dont pay but this ends up being a vicious cycle because while participating in a hundred bounties they get very little time or effort to put in to developing skills in posting and earning merits to be able to rank up and join the prestigious signature campaigns.

Hence I dont give this suggestion to newbies.
