It's probably the Russians hacking the French election now to help end the European Union.

(NB I do not believe the Russians hacked the American election and the above is intended as humour)

Two of the three leading contenders (François Fillon and Marine Le Pen) now in the French presidential election are pro-Russia. Only the candidate of the En Marche! party (Emmanuel Macron) is a Russophobe.
21802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Slashes Nat'l Debt by $12 Billion In First Month, Media Silent on: February 28, 2017, 04:23:42 AM
Please check the real-time American debt clock:

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

You can see that the debt is still increasing. Trump will not be able to reduce the American federal debt. It will take many years of effort and efficient management. At the best, he can hope to slow down its growth.

It wouldn't be all that difficult to make a debt clock that looked just like this one, but ran the other direction.

Cool

It is not that hard. Eliminating the wasteful spending will do the job. I can give two examples. The first one is the invasion of Iraq, which cost some $2 trillion. The other is the F-35 program, which has cost around $1.5 trillion till now.
21803  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Trump survive the first period as president of the US? on: February 28, 2017, 04:20:22 AM
Elizabeth Warren will probably be the candidate in 2020, she's insanely more left than any other current serving democrats and has her own array of controversies and scandals. No chance for the dems in the house or senate either, it's going to be nice to see Republican control for a good amount of time.

After making a blunder by choosing Hillary over Sanders in 2016, I don't think that the Democrats will do something similar in 2020. They'll chose a moderate Democrat, such as Jon Tester, Heidi Heitkamp, and  Joe Manchin.

What do you call the native French?
You're a native French when your parents were French? Your grandparents? When you're French since the Revolution?

Native French is similar to native American. We call someone native American, if he is having a certain quantum of Amerindian blood. Same with the term "native French". Anyone with ethnic French blood is native French.
21805  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama is the President of France on: February 28, 2017, 02:35:15 AM
Barack Obama destroyed the American economy. He increased the federal debt by more than 100% and now the debt is even more than the GDP. I don't understand why the French people want such a person as their president.
21806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you think Trumps supporters still love him? on: February 28, 2017, 02:28:34 AM
And this is because companies are important, and violent crime takes away from what the companies do for us.

Trump talked about cutting out more than 75% of the Government regulation that keeps new companies from starting. He also wants to drop taxes for people in the 35% bracket, down to 25%. All this will bring jobs to America, and freedom for business start-ups.

Violent crime must be reduced. Let's hope in the reduction of violent crime, our rights are not reduced.

Cool

Regulations must be either dropped or eased. They do more damage to the businesses than the taxes. Also, ever since Obama became the POTUS in 2008, we have noticed an uptick in the incidence of violent crime (especially in the inner cities).

21808  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: February 28, 2017, 02:16:00 AM
The most important part that many miss from Islam, is that the religion itself is the terrorist, being muslims its primary victim.
The muslim terrorist is just a victim of Islam who developed a deeper Stockholm syndrome.

I wouldn't call Muslim terrorists as victims. They follow the Islamic ideology, and they are not concerned about the deaths, as they are assured of the 72 virgins in heaven. I have even heard that Muslim men in Iraq are queuing up to become suicide bombers, after the ISIS showed them pictures of the 72 "virgins" which each of them will receive.
21809  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Trump survive the first period as president of the US? on: February 28, 2017, 02:11:08 AM
He will complete his first term, and in 2020 November, he will be re-elected to his second term. I am seeing hardly any chance for the Democrats in 2020. They don't even have a good candidate. Who is going to be their candidate in 2020? Perhaps Kim Kardashian?
21810  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: February 28, 2017, 02:07:28 AM
religion in general is shit

I agree. But Semitic religions (especially Islam and Evangelical Christianity) are more so. On the other hand, the oriental religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Taoism.etc) are by and large very peaceful.

Well mainly because they're not religions.

I don't know for Hinduism, but Buddhism and especially  Taoism and Shintoism are not religions.
They're... Mystical philosophies at best ^^

I would disagree. I would rather call Hinduism, Shintoism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Yazidism as real religions. For me, Christianity and Islam are more like business minded philosophies.

Russia is and always will be an enemy a rival of America.

Let's put it this way, they never engaged or been at war with each other, they're both super-powers trying to keep their political spheres.
I wouldn't call Russia a superpower. It's a big territory, but absolutely retarded on the economy of the country. The budget of almost any state in the United States more than the entire budget of Russia. Another thing is that Russia saves money on social needs of the population and sends them to the defense industry. Russia does big media invests in the creation of the image of a superpower. In fact it is not.

ROFLMAO.... So perhaps we should now call your poverty stricken nation (Ukraine) a superpower. The defense sector is a major revenue earner for Russia. It employs millions of Russians and a large part of the GDP comes from the export of defense equipment.
21812  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The anti-Putin paranoia. on: February 28, 2017, 02:01:24 AM
Let's start with the fact that Russia did not initially correctly when captured Konigsberg and made it their enclave. In addition, the Russian General, provocateurs and aggressors. I don't know of another country which would act in our time by such methods. It is a pity that the world can't unite and boycott Russia until the collapse and abandonment of its Imperial ambitions.

You what? Germany paid the prize for attacking the USSR without any reason. And Konigsberg was not the only piece of land they lost after the war. If you remember correctly, France got the Alsace-Lorraine, and Poland got the eastern provinces (Danzig - Westpreußen, Ostpreußen, Pommern, Oberschlesien, and Niederschlesien).
Germany has indeed paid reparations to the Soviet Union for the attack on him. This suggests that sooner or later Russia will pay reparations Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. I do not see much difference between Hitler and Putin.

Yeah.. keep dreaming about the repatriations. Georgia tried to annex South Ossetia, and this lead to the latter breaking away from that nation. The same happened in Moldova, after the Romanians tried to revoke the autonomy of Transnistria. The case of Donbass is also similar.
21813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Egad. 81,000 + Transactions Unconfirmed. Again. Ugh! on: February 27, 2017, 06:50:24 AM
In this situation, I can foresee the risk of certain Bitcoin exchanges colluding with the miners, in order to prioritize the transactions by their users. For example, Coinbase can make a deal with Ghash or Eligius, and whenever these mining pools mine a block they will prioritize transactions by the Coinbase users. A bit far-fetched, but theoretically possible.

which means they wants to let the people using their services to get their transactions confirmed faster than the rest? or even something similar to selfish mining, not even giving priority for high fees yet not in their service? what the shit are those miners doing, this could have ruined the fairness of competition.

No... no... I am not saying that the miners are already doing something like this. I am just saying that there is a chance of this occurring in the not too distant future. I am just concerned by the way in which some of the miners behave right now. They've got too much power.

21815  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 27, 2017, 06:30:41 AM
For now i choose bitcoin the price of bitcoin now is more than a gold. So bitcoin is better for gold but if choose for a long term investment i choose gold its better to keep it for a long time.

How can you say that the price of Bitcoin is more than the price of gold? Both these assets can't be compared. Gold is a physical asset, while Bitcoin is a digital asset. You can't measure Bitcoin using the same unit which you use for measuring gold.
21816  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: February 27, 2017, 06:28:14 AM
Saudi Arabia cannot sell the world its oil at $10 as this wont allow it a balanced budget.    The production might be this cheap but the country itself needs a higher price to balance spending elsewhere.

They are now in better shape, with crude stabilizing at around $55 per barrel. But unless the prices rise to around $80 per barrel, there will be a budget deficit. The sovereign wealth fund (worth more than $500 billion), and the Aramco IPO sale (the Saudis claim that a 50% stake sale will bring $1 trillion) can keep them afloat for another 15-20 years (assuming that the budget spending doesn't rise).
21817  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The end of Western civilization on: February 27, 2017, 06:24:45 AM
So yeah you're saying that Muslims are organized and actually making an "invasion"...

Sorry but could you explain us who is leading this brilliant strategy?

It is given in their holy book. That is how we have more than 50 Muslim majority nations in the planet right now. This strategy is being repeated again and again since around AD 800, starting with Arabia and Iran. Europe is the latest target, along with India and Ethiopia.
21818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are all american racists? Do they hate all outsiders/immigrants? on: February 27, 2017, 05:44:34 AM
Is a strange question.
No, the fewest Americans are racists I think. But there are some.
And unfortunately there are also some in many other countries of world.

The incidence of racism is the highest in developing nations (such as South Africa, India, China.etc). The people of the developed nations are educated, and they don't normally display racism or xenophobia.

Hmm... Then why the rise of protectionism and aggressive answer to... To nothing in fact.

People are terrified by a few attacks explained by our own international policies... But they're educated yeah...

When terrorist incidents occur in a previously peaceful country, it is natural for the people to get upset. Why they should suffer for the blunders of their politicians? Educated doesn't mean that you should say OK to unlimited immigration.
21819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: February 27, 2017, 05:41:02 AM
Drinking alcohol is no good at all .its just a waste of money .and i even ask myself why the hell alcohol drinking was started ? It is so stupid . Even when i drank wine or any other drinks it didnt effect me in any way .

Alcohol is just another food item. And don't call it a waste of money. If you call alcohol as a waste of money today, then tomorrow you will say that caviar, foie gras, and Beaufort cheese are a waste of money.

Yes. buying alcohol is not a waste of money because you actually enjoy consuming when you drink it. Also drinking alcohol diminish your stress level and somewhat relax your body but it also lessen your decision making. So I think you need to set your limit if you are going to go out and socialize and drink with your friends.

Exactly. Also, it is a matter of personal freedom. In my country, there are a lot of anti-alcohol activists. These people are very irritating, and sometimes they forcibly close down liquor shops. What is their problem, as no one is forcing them to drink alcohol?
21820  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UNESCO declares Islam as the most peaceful religion of the world on: February 27, 2017, 05:38:03 AM
wow such a great news to wake up to...hm, last couple of big events had islam as a partial or main thing. Why's islam so popular all of a sudden?

But this... I don't know, it's stupid... Maybe they're trying to fix the migrant situation like this..

In the Western nations, the leftist liberals have always used Islam as a tool to counter the conservatives (who mostly rely on Christian values). This explains the undue importance given to Islam by the mainstream media and politicians.
Of course you may be right, but that you describe the methods of struggle. do you deny that Muslims are indeed very far from Christianity. They are less educated and more aggressive and absolutely not tolerant of other religions.

It is true that today's Islam is very different from all the other religions. The reason for that is very simple. The other religions progressed with time. Even Christianity had the burning of witches and all that many hundreds of years ago. But they were successful in purging these evil customs. But look at Islam. They are still stoning women to death and amputating the limbs of thieves.
