As inundações inesperadas deixaram muitas famílias desabrigadas e vivendo miseravelmente a céu aberto esperando alguma ajuda de todos nós. Esses milhões de pessoas afetadas perderam suas casas, colheitas agrícolas e animais. Agora, essas pessoas estão em condições miseráveis, vivendo sem abrigo, milhares delas deslocadas e sem comida para comer e sem remédios para combater doenças.

Conforme relatado na mídia em todo o mundo, a nação paquistanesa está passando por um momento muito difícil em sua história, fortes chuvas de monções e consequentes inundações afetaram gravemente milhões de pessoas desde 22 de junho, destruindo pelo menos 100 mil casas e danificando cerca de 200.000 ou mais. Sind e Baluchistão são as províncias mais afetadas em termos de humanos e infraestrutura. Apenas no Baluchistão mais de 500.000 animais foram mortos, 3.000 km de estradas completamente destruídas e 129 pontes danificadas. A Autoridade Nacional de Gestão de Desastres está trabalhando com agências humanitárias para apoiar e fornecer a ajuda necessária às famílias afetadas. O distrito de Thar de Sind também é afetado por essas fortes chuvas.
