221  Economy / Economics / Re: Latest Bitcoin market trend - Looks like the Bitcoin Whales are losing momentum on: March 19, 2019, 02:00:40 PM
~
If I look at the pricing data of bitcoin from coinmarketcap for last one month starting from 17th Feb, 2019. The highest price that bitcoin market achieved is $4,210 and stabilizing at around $4,000 range. That gap is simply not lucrative enough for whales.  If the price stabilizes, they are supposed to loose the momentum.

That is still about a 5% gain in range. That can still be maximized to make the profit lucrative. Though I know it might be dangerous for them, they still hold chunks so I don't think it will be a big problem for them.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When a project don't hit their softcap , they don't distribute bounty tokens? on: March 19, 2019, 01:42:38 PM
Before they either ask their investors if they would continue or not. Or sometimes they extend their sale. But today almost all ICOs, if they don't reach soft cap they refund the funds and then close the project. Leaving bounty hunters with none. Common on bounty campaigns of alts nowadays.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was robbed :'( please refer … PLEASE HELP ME ! on: March 18, 2019, 01:11:05 PM
I hope you invested some of those ethers in a hardware wallet. Even a Ledger Nano S so cheap nowadays and it still sure gets the job done. Can you tell what wallet did you use?
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: March 17, 2019, 03:18:22 PM
Bitcoin didn't die? It's just at a low price. The price is even higher than when it first got out. I prefer if bitcoin would reach a new all-time high again. Then it would definitely be yes.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: March 17, 2019, 02:44:17 PM
Bitcoin will still be the coin to use. We are not even sure if it will hit mass adoption or if people will leave the fiat system and solely use bitcoin. So the problem in its maximum will not be a problem. And I am sure the devs will propose an improvement on the core to supplement if the problem occurs.

as for XRP, I think it will not happen. XRP is centralized and it is manipulative.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2019, 02:34:55 PM
If you watch the news in my country, you'll be afraid to get out from home and even more afraid to drive a car (way too many news about car crashes).

The news show only when something extraordinary has happened. That's not a rule.
~

I totally agree with you. I remember there are so many reported problems with hitbtc regarding the transactions, the withdrawal and etc. But since it's the first exchange I had and I have never experienced any problem with it, I tried again, and experience no problem at all. Not putting money anymore on that exchange but I will still use it on my future trades.

now I try his luck in bounty and also trading. I like both because it's easy to do.

Are you saying that trading is easy to do? as I read a statistic here, it says, about 90 -95 percent of traders fail. So I guess even a pro would still find trading hard. Even I find trading hard. You really need a bit of luck or if not, be good at averages to beat the market.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: March 17, 2019, 02:19:10 PM
Just like any beginner at first, I thought that if I just learn everything then I will not fail and riches will come to me fast. I was wrong. The secret is actually how you are built. You will need to first build yourself. Build self-esteem and most importantly understand that "success is built from learning on failures".

I would suggest OP and anyone print that quote or something like that and read and internalize every time you start and end your trading session. It will surely help.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: March 17, 2019, 02:10:33 PM
Nice try CNN, I bought nearly all of mine below $1000 & I’ve only sold about 10%. Definitely holding through to after the next halvening. There will be fireworks then.
It was just a kind of speculation or they only did a small survey, the person who bought at $1000 and missed ATH last year,
must still be holding it up until now. even I bought at a price lower than that and still kept it now

Me too I would like to know where they got this information. Do they hold some kind of list public wallets of those who bought at $1000?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

For me, I started joining campaigns here at that time. I didn't have the money back then. When I had some I bought but sold some near ath. I have some left on my wallet trying to hold them longer.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: March 16, 2019, 11:21:22 AM
I'm not sure I get your point a lot. Do you want to teach kids crypto? Or do you want them to learn "how to make money"? What is "how to make money", and how are you going to teach it?

He wanted to teach kindergarten how to make money and not to manage money.

So where are we going to start since OP doesn't want them to go to school? Kindergarten = no reading skills, no math skills, analysis a bit maybe.

When I was younger and lost my teeth, the tooth fairy would leave me candy.  I still dont understand this to this day.
I think that when kids lose their teeth that the Bitcoin tooth fairy should put small btc in their digital wallets.

This man sees the future  Cheesy
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox founder Mark Karpeles Sentenced to Over Two Years. Is This a Joke? on: March 16, 2019, 10:54:47 AM
“The charge of electronic record tampering is true and deserves punishment, but there’s no criminal evidence of embezzlement,” the court said in final verdict. At the least his reputation is destroyed.

This is the sad truth if there is no criminal evidence then everything is just suspicion in the eye of the law. If maybe a piece of evidence comes out then maybe the sentence would be a lot more than this.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: March 16, 2019, 10:40:53 AM
Altcoins are not useless as you say, among them there are promising projects that are used and will be useful in the near future!
it is not clear will these projects survive till this time or not. because in such a bear market new projects run out of money

I agree most projects run out of money and then turns down silent. Though the project is promising enough, with no money or support, it will die. And then here comes investors saying they are a crap scam.

Not all altcoins are useless they are made for specific usage and let's not forget, mostly to used to raise funds.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market starting to improve slowly? on: March 16, 2019, 10:31:20 AM
Good evening, I want to hear your opinion about the crypto market lately. Has the market really improved? Then when is the right time to start a long-term investment? Thank you in advance.

Regards,

warrior.coins

It is, as long as there are new coins coming and as long as they promote new usage to the technology then it is an improvement. Also, there have been rumors about regulating crypto space, good news indeed. So if you want to start long-term investment, for me, today is the best time.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 15, 2019, 06:53:06 AM
I think they are just creating a small dump on bitcoin for them to be able to buy cheaper bitcoin. Many financial gurus said this but it does not affect bitcoin that much so why even care about them.

he is a man from traditional finances so he doesn't like innovations like bitcoin that disrupt his traditional vews.

Actually, I read here that he praised blockchain. So I think he like innovations, he just doesn't like bitcoin. Check out franky1's post I think it's a possibility also of why he creates these kinds of statements.
234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any real way to earn bitcoin without investment? on: March 15, 2019, 06:00:26 AM
I would suggest you OP to stay on this forum. Give love to all of your doings. And also give efforts to everything. In no time you will rank up and then you will earn without investment but time. I am also sure that you will bump on bounties.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss brothers suggests more regulations for cryptos on: March 15, 2019, 05:51:27 AM
"There are a lot of carcasses on the road of crypto that we’ve seen and learned from"

Unfortunately though, it looks like not enough people are learning their lesson from reading about these kinds of incidents(like what happened to QuadrigaCX). It seems like people only learn when they experience losing their funds firsthand themselves. 🤷‍♂️

Repentance always happens at the end of everything we do. Let's just hope people will change and apply learnings from failures. I wish people, especially exchanges join on this move so more people will comfortable on using exchanges. Even I can't sleep with much of my funds on exchanges.

237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: February 02, 2019, 09:48:33 AM
I like the idea of public decentralized ICO regulations. This is the best way that most investors can access the data publicly without the possibility that the ICO made it. It will surely bring more security in the crypto-space.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest in Azbit? on: February 02, 2019, 09:44:35 AM
An ICO? Nah man, don't bother with ICOs right now, all hype has faded away that it got in last couple years. You will be able to buy at much cheaper price once token hits on exchanges.

I guess this is one of the best ways of investing right now than buying to ICOs. You are right once it hit exchanges it will be much cheaper when initial investors dumped. Plus the fact that it's already in an Exchange, plus point that the project is really moving.

As for azbit, I will try to read their white paper.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning to torrent downloaders on: February 02, 2019, 09:41:14 AM
This is why I check files on the torrent download folder before I proceed the download. I wait for the folders to show-up and then it should be all I need. I pause the download for files that I'm not familiar with. Especially crack folders.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee on: February 01, 2019, 04:41:08 AM
John McAfee likes to do a show. He has achieved success in his life, but that does not mean that he can be an authority in every field of economy or life.
The cryptocurrency market is unpredictable, so his ideas about the price of $100k for Bitcoin in 2020 are taken simply from the crystal ball. I hope this will happen, but in my opinion it is unlikely.

Agreed. John McAfee sure can say whatever he wanted regards bitcoin prices but still no one will know when it will happen. It doesn't mean that if you disrupt the fiat money game you will disrupt crypto currency.
