Also as far as anyone's opinion on a wallet as I have coinbase and xapo.

I use MultiBit, which stores your wallet on your own computer, which is way more secure.
222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Trolls" are the most valuable asset on btctalk on: February 09, 2015, 08:57:16 PM
"Trolls" posting threads about "Trolls".  Now I've seen it all here in Bitcointalk.

This forum never fails to entertain!

That image is all that was needed in the first post.

224  Economy / Goods / Re: Prevention is better than a cure. Please escrow. on: February 09, 2015, 06:40:34 PM
Maybe we should change the original post in this thread to something more informative.
I didn't know what an "escrow" was when I signed up here. People will see "Please escrow" and won't know what it is.
Maybe add a simple explanation?

I love stickers. I always have. Gonna order some soon.
226  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 11"macbook air in EU on: February 09, 2015, 04:18:16 PM
This may not be my business, but I'd personally not go for the 11", get the 13" instead.
The 11" is just too small, even Apple thinks so, as they're replacing it with a 12" model soon.

229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wars? on: February 09, 2015, 03:40:11 PM
Hell yeah! That would be awesome!
You'd probably need to get a group of people together of different professions, like athletes, skilled traders and the like.
That would make for a great reality show!

Big piece of bitcoin (or even world) history right here. The funny thing is, it's a digital file. It will never deteriorate.
Gives me inspiration to make an online "Museum" of sorts.  Grin

232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices Break Downward Trend And Come Back Fighting on: February 09, 2015, 03:14:40 PM
We need a support at 350 to start talking about the BTC price putting a fight for a uptrend.

When you're talking about support, what do you mean? Loads of people buying at 350? Sort of like a checkpoint
233  Economy / Economics / Re: lets make bitcoin price high on: February 09, 2015, 03:12:27 PM
few years ago the price was 1$ per bitcoin..solets wait and lets see what will happen

Yep... I read something about Bitcoins then, and thought "Heh, cool.".

Heh, cool.

I wish I thought "Heh, cool. Let's buy some!"... And then forget about it... Until I would've read "Bitcoin price $1000" at which moment I would've turned completely pale, frantically looking for the wallet with 100's of bitcoins in it...
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 09, 2015, 03:07:59 PM
A lot of people in this thread seem to agree on one thing: Bitcoin rising and rising the next x years.

Why are you guys so certain?
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price push up ! (to 224) on: February 09, 2015, 02:45:06 PM
MACD still marks down, not sure if we are going to be able to keep that price pressure.

MACD seems to be marking up right now. I'm obsessed.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices Break Downward Trend And Come Back Fighting on: February 09, 2015, 02:41:10 PM
$230 is far too low, that many companies and miners can't make good profit, and the development of the whole industry will slow down. This is my point about why we need a higher value of the Bitcoin.

I'm sure miners won't be mining at the loss. They would rather stop operation. Perhaps all the while we have been undermining the actual mining cost.

That makes me wonder why are a lot of cloud mining companies still mining. I saw C-Cex leave a month back, but companies like cloudminr, and Bit-x are still mining bitcoins. Are they at all profitable ?

I think they're betting on bitcoin rising in the future. Bitcoins will always be bitcoins, the exchange rate is what changes. So they may not be profitable at this moment, but they could have luck and be extremely profitable in a few months.

Just keep them for a few decades and sell them to a museum  Cheesy
238  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 09, 2015, 03:00:53 AM
Alright, signing up after this post (I don't want to spam your system  Wink)

Edit: on board!

Edit 2: errr... Could anyone tell me if it's possible to change your bitcoin address on-the-fly (without losing my stats)?

I've been wondering that as well.  As far as I know, bitmixer uses the bitcoin address associated with your profile so I wouldn't predict any difficulty.  Yet, I haven't tried it myself.

Hmm.. I think I'll wait for official word on this. Thanks, though  Smiley
239  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [NEW] A Bit Ponzi - aBitPonzi.com - 120% return. 10BTC AND COUNTING PAID OUT on: February 09, 2015, 02:42:52 AM
Oh, but that sounds like work! Undecided you better just trust me on this one

Trust? I don't trust ANYTHING related to bitcoin without proof.

Words of the wise ^^ Monkeygang and a few other socks really recommend this ponzi aha so you have just joined BTCT and the first and only thing you go to is the biggest scam on the forum why?

Also people please be careful and not lose any BTC on these stupid games the only winner overall is the creator and is only a matter of time before he runs to the mountains and creates another ponzisite,

Dude get a honest job and stop stealing.

What I don't get is how people are still falling for this?
Ponzi schemes never stopped existing, it's still a viable business model.
Is this because people who invest early get more money, so everyone thinks they're smarter than everyone.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Silent War On Bitcoin Has Begun! on: February 09, 2015, 02:39:41 AM
The only way to fight the banks is to stop using them, that is the whole reason Bitcoin came into existence if I am not mistaken?

Bitcoin is too small a problem for them right now, their fiat must survive and that is getting more and more difficult as more people are discovering their scam

People are well aware of their scam, but there is not much u can do about it since this financial system we have today is hard coded
into our systems, and it takes alot of time to get over that.

Banks are the worst enemy you can have when it comes to bringing up whole another system of payment, because in this case you are touching their profits, and
it wont go without a fight, and whats stoping them from terminating every bitcoin related account ? nothing..
For that to stop u would need to fight them on a political stage, and guess who controlls polititians... yup

Probably not the whole reason. More like part of the reason.
The other reason is that you can send anyone money, anywhere on the world, right?

My turn to say "if I'm not mistaken"  Tongue
