221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: November 10, 2018, 08:58:40 PM
I realized that all coins or tokens, in their worse situations could go down as less as three times their original price. For instance look at bitcoin, now about half of its price as at early this year, ripple, litecoin, ethereum and bitcoin cash are far less than their prices as at the beginning of the year. I see all these coins as good for long term investments. It wouldn’t be bad investing in any of them now considering  where they have been to and where they can rise to again if the market gains strength
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [REWARDS CAMPAIGN] Bidooh - Decentralized Digital Billboards - $250,000 on: November 10, 2018, 03:37:16 PM
Dear bounty manager, I didn’t get any stakes for week 3 even though I was able to meet all the requirements for my stakes as a signature campaign participant. Please do check it up for me when allocating stakes for this current week, that is week 4.
My Bitcointalk username is: sammyp
Thank you in advance.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2018, 10:30:40 PM
I strongly believe in diversification so I would diversify my investments. Profits may be very small but it is mostly better than depending on one or two coins/tokens. Diversifying one’s investments reduces the risk.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: November 09, 2018, 09:21:01 PM
Unlike 2017, ICOs have suffered serious heartbreaks as all investors await to buy the dip from dumpers. It’s not all bounty hunters who dump right after they receive their bounty rewards. Some investors also willingly dump their investments gradually after loosing hope in the projects. 2018 has been very bad for cryptos and we hope it doesn’t end the way it is now.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2018, 09:08:47 PM
Bitcoin price is going down day by day..
Is bitcoin cash have that much potential to overcome the bitcoin?
Bitcoin cash just like bitcoin has it’s purpose of existence or an aim it seeks to achieve. It may achieve this aim to its highest potential but it can never contest with bitcoin. It hasn’t experienced half of what bitcoin has gone through. Let us hope the market gets green again rather than comparing coins.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: November 08, 2018, 07:42:58 PM
Although current price affecting not just ethereum but other coins, ethereum’s popularity and its wide adoption by many ongoing and upcoming projects makes it stand next to bitcoin. I think it will still go high and higher.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is MLM ideal for bitcoin? on: November 08, 2018, 07:03:47 PM
I have joined a number of them before but they didn’t like to be referred to as MLM’s but rather described themselves as pyramids. I still haven’t bothered to get the difference but one was working perfectly. The only problem I had was with people not trusting bitcoin as a mode of payment or donation.
228  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Please Buy a Hardware Wallet on: November 08, 2018, 04:31:47 PM
Hardware wallet is a must have asset for all crypto currency enthusiasts especially those who are new in the community or business. Even if you have never lost your coins to hackers, the fear of loosing them one day alone is enough to make you get a hardware wallet. I got mine and all my crypto currencies are safe even though I don’t have much.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 07, 2018, 07:42:12 PM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?
I do believe that crypto currencies will continue to exist and be used despite the many allegations against them. I also want to believe that cryptos are meant to make life easy and comfortable in terms of exchange of good and service. For the aspect of getting rich through cryptos, I thinks it’s a luck.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 07, 2018, 09:55:57 AM
I am mentally and psychologically ready to use cryptocurrencies for my everyday activities. It will a least relieve me of the troubles in carrying huge sums of money on you and attracting robbers. I love using cryptocurrencies for the fact that I do not need to wait an pick change after a transaction. I can always send the exact amount I need to send.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency ATM installed in Zimbabwe on: November 07, 2018, 09:38:44 AM
This is a very good step forward for Zimbabwe as a nation which has seen its local currency suffer from instability. even though cryptocurrencies are also volatile, I believe their use will help to normalize the situation at hand and I have a strong feeling that the people of Zimbabwe are already enjoying the use of the ATM.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 06, 2018, 08:08:23 PM
I do not see the understanding of bitcoin as the biggest problem as you think. I would rather point out our unwillingness to learn about bitcoin as the biggest problem. A lot of people do not know anything about bitcoin but are very ready to criticize it when an issue about it is brought up. I think we should give ourselves the opportunity and the zeal to know about bitcoin and it will be easy for us to understand it.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: November 05, 2018, 11:26:30 PM
I don’t trust them to the maximum even though I rely on them to join projects. They at least give me the list of ongoing and upcoming ICOs so get to know what is at the market at which time and for how long. For their ratings, I don’t have a problem and I don’t depend solely on that for my participation. I. General, ICO rating sites will get 7/10 of my trust.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: November 05, 2018, 10:48:39 PM
It is a free market and everyone can make his/her prediction. It is only time which will determine who predicts accurately and who doesn’t. If you asked me, I would say bitcoin is not going below $6000 anymore. It’s going to stay ther for a while then it will go BOOM and we will start chasing it to buy at a cheaper price again. Like we did when it peaked to $17K and above.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]SaTT -THE NEW ERA OF ADVERTISING- [PAUSED] on: November 03, 2018, 08:48:48 AM
Thank you for the information but I will like some clarification about the signature campaign reward. It was stated that signature campaign was going to be rewarded $840,000. So how come it has been divided by 10 now. Second distribution will occur later
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]SaTT -THE NEW ERA OF ADVERTISING- [PAUSED] on: November 02, 2018, 10:41:33 PM
The news is coming guys, don't worry, the day is not over yet for us.
Surely, the day is not over yet, we have got about one and a half hours for the day to end. We know you will surely deliver as you have always done. We await the information
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: November 02, 2018, 09:36:59 PM
I believe in the demand and supply chain. It’s that chain which actually controls the price. To speak about you not believing in the hold hold hold principle; holding used to be profitable especially when people joined projects not just for profits but for the love of the projects. But now everyone looks hungry and joins a project only to double or triple his/her investment. It’s the reason why holding is no more useful.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: November 02, 2018, 05:54:33 PM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?
Yes I have invested in a number of ICOs and I have equally made both loses and gains. What I have realized is that your chances of making profit or loss depends on the condition of the market at the time the tokens or coins you invested in are listed on exchanges as well as the time you sell.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: November 02, 2018, 03:52:38 PM
Working to earn crypto currencies is very good but I would prefer doing cryptos as a part time job to going into full time crypto work. Institutions and well established bodies who do mining and trading can do crypto for full time and even employ other people. But individuals like myself, it is advisable to do part time in cryptos
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: November 02, 2018, 03:11:57 PM
It will be good for the community if we all decide to go by what you have suggested. For instance I want to buy a liter of milk, before I pay I ask the shop keeper;do you accept bitcoin payments? I bet you, she will try to know more about bitcoin even if she doesn’t and if we continue asking for bitcoin payments many shops will buy the idea, learn about bitcoin, take the risk and receive payments in bitcoin.
