221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we have a newbie Bitcoin wallet? on: August 16, 2023, 02:41:03 PM
Is there any wallet for newbies? If there's none, I think we should have a wallet for newbies. As a newbie who wants to learn and more about crypto, I've learnt that owning a wallet is very essential in managing one's crypto assets hence the necessity for anyone who wants to get involved in Bitcoin must have crypto wallet.
<snip>
While reading the original post (OP), I find myself drawing parallels to guides for preschoolers. You know, those kids who are learning their ABCs. Or taking it to a more advanced level, it's akin to programming books for babies.

I do believe that what you are suggesting is feasible, but it requires someone to take the initiative to start such a project. They should consider first whether it's worth the investment of time, money, and effort.

Above all, even if you're still a newbie, you can learn to use the wallets we have simply by reading the guides and articles that are currently available.

Do you have a web design for your website? The one I've seen seems to be designed for mobile, even though I am accessing it through a desktop browser. Could this be a mistake on my end?

Also, regarding the claim of payouts within 3 seconds, I personally find it hard to believe, as it seems like an exaggeration. However, if you're able to uphold that promise, I'm curious to know how you plan to achieve it.

In terms of marketing design, I recall a classic strategy where "sexuality" is used to capture people's attention.

Welcome to the forum, and best of luck!
Kung specific 'yun sa blockchain, I don't see any potential risk naman compared kung mag-aral ng more general courses gaya ng IT or CS. Either way, meron silang pros and cons, ang estudyante na ang bahala sa desisyon nya.

<snip>
AMA, diba'y noon palang, competitive na sila when it comes to technological aspects? I am not surprised na isa sila sa unang magpasimula ng Blockchain-related courses dito sa Pinas.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: August 13, 2023, 02:16:51 PM
<snip>
Just as the concept of "meme" can lose its humor over time, these coins could also lose their appeal among users. This is one reason why I think they may not have a bright future unless these projects incorporate more use cases and address blockchain issues. Currently, I believe it's wise to exercise caution when considering them.
225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 13, 2023, 01:30:22 PM
<snip>
I don't think keeping your gambling habit a secret is common. Is your argument based on personal experience? While it's possible that some people do this, I believe it's rare and unusual. Consider a study shared here previously: men tend to gamble to enhance their image in society. Therefore, based on this, we can initially assume that fewer people keep it a secret compared to those who want others to know they are gambling.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: August 12, 2023, 02:49:07 PM
Can you share your first experience playing gambling? and who told you about gambling sites?
<snip>
My introduction to "gambling" originated from the games we played during our early years, rooted in the 90s culture of my home country. In those times, I was entirely unaware that these activities held elements of gambling. It was during high school that I began engaging in competitive play, specifically in DOTA 2, and I recognized it as a form of gambling.

Lastly, it's now that I've become acquainted with the "true" or "more serious" variant of gambling—casinos. It all commenced with my involvement in free giveaways, gradually leading me into a daily gambling routine. The experience has been a blend of amusement and exasperation, akin to a rollercoaster journey.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 12, 2023, 12:36:11 PM

This practice is not good at all if we all must be honest with ourselves, it simply means the casino or game provider, which ever if them is involved in such a practice, should not be trusted, personally, I've always believed slot games in demo mode work like demo account in trading, which is were you learn for yourself all that there is to the game, how easy or hard it is to win in the actual game, if casinos or game providers do go into such dirty tricks all just to entice players into believing that such slot game is what its not, then they are dupes, and should not be trusted.

It's crucial to note that there is no direct correlation between these two modes—real play and demo mode. Therefore, it's advisable to dismiss any misconceptions. Furthermore, avoiding superstitions is recommended, as these games primarily operate based on Random Number Generation (RNG).
Well, I don't completely agree that every slot games operates based on Random Number Generation, I still believe that some how, some of this games are manipulated somehow, as long as they are able to manipulate the demo version, they can still manipulate the real version as well., a lot goes on behind the scene that the eyes can't see, even though they make us believe everything is alright, and that games are completely fair.
Adjusting RTP doesn't necessarily mean that they manipulate the outcomes. It is just some sort of strategy they do. Rigged games are on different topic.
Please remember that we have provably fair games, these are considered to be the fairest games online. You can even verify the seeds of the games you played.
There's no need to be so negative towards casino operators that adjusts demo RTP.  Smiley

Hanggat may korapsyon, mahihirapan tayo.

Buti sa iilan sa atin ay nagkakaroon ng extra galing sa income dito sa forum, kahit papaano ay nakakadagdag sa pang araw-araw na gastusin.

Maligayang pagbabalik, kabayan!
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 12, 2023, 11:01:43 AM
<snip>
To the best of my recollection, the casino can adjust the RTP for demo mode, though some choose to do so, others do not. If a casino opts to make changes, it is likely aimed at enticing players testing the demo into believing the slot is profitable. This practice varies depending on the casino's approach.

It's crucial to note that there is no direct correlation between these two modes—real play and demo mode. Therefore, it's advisable to dismiss any misconceptions. Furthermore, avoiding superstitions is recommended, as these games primarily operate based on Random Number Generation (RNG).

231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 11, 2023, 03:14:23 PM
the saddest thing about this story is that according to the article he was at the casino for a bachelor party, I'm left wondering who the hell goes to a casino for a bachelor party? <snip>
He was heavily drugged. As far as I understood it, he was running from the outside, going inside the casino. Security tried to stop him, but they weren't able to. I'm not shocked by what he did while he was drugged; I just can't believe that being drugged can get someone into that much trouble.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 11, 2023, 01:24:57 PM
<snip>
Technically, they wouldn't be able to access your bitcoin wealth if they do not know the seed phrases, unless the software where you run it does not shut down in their lifetime – a scenario which, if we think about it, is highly unlikely. The device (such as a phone) that you use to access your wallet will not last forever. Once the device dies, there's no way for them to reopen your wallet account as they would not have the seed phrases. This is why I believe that giving the seed phrases to your heirs is a crucial requirement for transferring your bitcoin wealth to them. Currently, the process doesn't involve complex steps like those needed for tangible assets, making it relatively straightforward.

Edit:
Just learned something new: you can set up a multi-sig wallet that they can access when you're no longer around. Multisig wallet transactions require multiple signatures before they can be approved. You'll need to ask other people to sign it for your heirs. So, once you're gone, they can help facilitate the transfer to them. I'm not sure if I explained it well, but I hope someone here who knows more about the technical and legal aspects of this case will share their opinion.

Be mindful of the risks as well. Have you ever traded before? If not, perhaps you should explore into it further. It's uncertain whether you'll be able to hold and wait for profits or if you'll become anxious when its value decreases. Evaluate yourself.

Don't get overly excited. It's fortunate that you stumbled upon this forum; you'll gain valuable knowledge here. I might even see you becoming more active soon. Best of luck!
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 10, 2023, 03:19:12 PM
The idea of "huge" money can be relative. I've felt it before during winning streaks. I used those winnings to keep playing instead of withdrawing any, and now that you've introduced this syndrome, it makes sense.

<snip>
Holding an NFT at that time was a gamble, and unfortunately, luck wasn't on my side. I even went as far as attempting to borrow money just to invest in it, lol.
235  Economy / Services / Re: Typing job on: August 10, 2023, 11:32:40 AM

It would be a great idea to include the result of a typing speed test, and a recorded video would be even better. To further convince people that it is indeed you typing, consider typing your username (perhaps in the URL bar) before beginning the typing test. Additionally, improving the typography of this thread would enhance your presentation. Best of luck!
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of casinos that allows "free spins and no deposit" on: August 09, 2023, 02:31:59 PM
<snip>
I'm a bit confused. Are you referring to casinos that provide you with free spins and enable you to withdraw winnings from them without requiring any deposit? Or are you referring to free spins bonuses that have associated terms, such as a minimum deposit (anytime) and a (N)x wagering requirement for withdrawal eligibility? The first scenario would be challenging to come across. While it's possible it exists, it would likely be quite uncommon. I mean, isn't that almost too good to be true? It's important to be cautious.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 08, 2023, 02:49:23 PM
Do you guys think the current odds will change drastically during the next 3 weeks? I mean, I know it's possible, but how much or how little do you think the change is likely to be?

I believe that in the end, there will be another face-off between the US and Spain. However, I expect the US to come out on top.
238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Happy to reach 50 merit on: August 06, 2023, 04:09:16 PM
Good for you, congrats! Looking forward seeing you achieve another milestone. Keep it up!

Earning merit is really hard this days , since there are lots of things they consider for post to be meritable,
Generally speaking, earning merits has been easier than ever. Looking at your post history, I see that you are active mainly in your local (Phillippines) board, which is seriously undermerited for quite some time and that probably gives you impression that getting merit is hard.
<snip>
Our local board has been deprived of merit for years. I have personally observed that some of my fellow countrymen find it hard to gain merits due to the low merit distribution within the local board. However, despite this situation, there are still plenty of ways and chances to gain merit from the English boards, I hope that we all realize that too.

exactly, I don't know what hinders other businesses implementing and adopting LN when we all knew the good effect of this in their business and subscribers/users .
Probably because even though it is a very secure network, there are still some risks of compromise. That could be one reason why there are only a small number of online casinos that have LN implemented as their payment method. It is indeed a drawback in my opinion (I'm not sure if it is a total risk or not), but I believe the risk should not be neglected.
