221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: December 28, 2015, 08:03:11 PM
I would like to pay with Bitcoin in ordinary shops for goods and meal. This is a biggest problem I see now. But I am happy to see more and more merchants allow it.

Yes bitcoin is hardly available in restaurant or cafe's. In general it should be available in more offline stores; like clothing shops etc.

Maybe if more mobile payment providers step in, this will be realised.

Same is the case with me as in my country no one is aware about the bitcoin and till date I haven't seen any physical shop who is accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment that makes me a bit worried as we want that the adoption level should be higher but at the other end no one actually knows what is a bitcoin and it would take a long span to educate people about the bitcoins and it would be a dream come true if small merchants starts accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: December 28, 2015, 07:54:25 PM
I had never used western union and i wont use their service as bitcoin can provide a better result .I know high fees being charged on the last years from others payment processors, and well bitcoin is a problem for the most.

Bitcoin is a problem for the people who are not using it or who are not aware about the benefits of bitcoins, once they are aware about bitcoins and if they come to know the advantages associated with bitcoins I am very much sure they would never enter the door steps of WU as they are charging heavily on their customers and in fact they are cheating to their customers who are loyal with them since many years.
223  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 28, 2015, 07:50:51 PM
I would suggest that you keep working hard until you reach the full BTC goal, everyone in this website should have at least 1 locked in cold storage for super long term holding. And having 10 puts you into the future elite pretty much guaranteed.

That is true but 1 btc would not be sufficient in the long run as it might be considered as a peanut in the coming years, I believe you should atleast hold 10 btc in your cold storage and keep it safe for the future so if you hold more you have chances to have more profits if the value reaches the moon, 1 btc would not be enough to take care of your basic needs in the future as you also need to keep in mind the rate of inflation.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 07:46:48 PM
Well paypal limit the most accounts to xx ammount with bitcoin you can easy transfer any ammount, to any person.I love bitcoin because low fees ,no chargebacks and no limits to trade or transfer money.

Exactly that is the best advantage attached with bitcoins as the bitcoins transaction are available 24/7 and there are no heavy charges as paypal charges from its customers and the best thing is there are no hidden charges which paypal and WU charges from its customers, bitcoin transfers are transparent and instant and with the minimal fees and that is the reason people are more attracted toward bitcoins when it comes to online transfers.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 28, 2015, 07:42:27 PM
All my life economies are in the Bitcoin network ... so yes, i trust more Bitcoin than FIAT system.
And i have read 3 months before done this.

Bitcoin win in all strategies ... because, like a P2P system, it is attached by "nothing" (controlled by the majority, not by a few people like the banks and the state).

I just withdraw 20 dollars so it is real money. Used it for buying my usb otg and my micro sd card. Now I am even happier that I got to know bitcoin with my early life.  Grin

Yes if you can convert your btc to fiat then its a real money, if you can purchase any product using bitcoins as a mode of payment then its a real money, if bitcoins is taking care of your basic needs, your basic expenses then its a real money and that is the same case with all the bitcoins users who are using bitcoins since a long time regardless where you are using it for online purchases, online transfers or converting it to fiat.
226  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: December 28, 2015, 07:39:18 PM
We will see all markets slowly accepting bitcoin, atleast the online market, shops, porn, games ,bitcoin will stand for several years if not forever, soo its a question of time till the bitcoin be everywhere.Financial problems of the world may boost the adoption of bitcoin ,but well time will show us .

Yes, i was expecting the adult movie market to accept bitcoin way faster then I see it happening now.
Maybe they are still exploring the possibilities of bitcoin all together.

Why are you wasting your hard earned bitcoins for the sake of porn? I mean I don't understand people want to spend their bitcoins only to watch porn there are many websites which gives you free access to porn and if you wanna watch live webcam models then pay with your credit cards why the hell you want to spend your bitcoins in such kind of stupid things there are websites who are accepting bitcoins to tip to a model but thats an deceptive concept.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 07:35:17 PM
For the most of them bitcoin is too new and to hot.
They don't understand it, and lack interest or time to research it.
In time they will hear more and more about bitcoin and it will come out of themself.

You are right on this. Bitcoin is something you have to spend time before you can understand.
For me it was the same reason for not using it. It seemed to complex for me.

That is the case with the most of the people as they are not aware about the concept of bitcoins and even if we introduce them to bitcoins they would surely hesitate in investing into something they really don't know and that is the problem we all are facing as we want that the adoption level of bitcoins should be much higher but as people have more faith in fiat and they don't want to risk their money by investing into crypto.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 27, 2015, 07:42:05 PM
Both saving and investing money must of course need a wise move. Properly planned all the plans you will perform and make a passion for it that you will do it all properly and nicely.

Yes saving money in bitcoins is the best thing to do at present, its also an investment so both things will be taken care of, keep on investing your money into bitcoins as it can be proved to be an best financial investment to make and your money is also saved in the bitcoins, you can use it whenever you need as you have total control on your bitcoins you can convert it to fiat at the time of emergencies.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 27, 2015, 07:35:51 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Money is the worst way of trying to save value. Money is always devaluating, so if you want to make some savings your best option would be real estate business, gold or bitcoin. either one of these is much better than cash
Yes but remember that by saving you earn interest and this is something which make the value higher then your initial investment right.
Sure the interest is low right now, but in some countries the interest is still hig.

If you save big, the interest would be much bigger but it doesn't goes same for all as everyone is not holding that much of wealth who can get maximum interest rates, so for the people with less capital would surely willing to invest their money so that they can gain good returns in the future, savings is for short term but the investment can take care of us in the long term.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 27, 2015, 07:32:57 PM
Of course not, and I hope it never does. I like that we have plenty of options to decide when it comes to paying for something, also, we cannot pretend everyone will accept Bitcoin, less use it for everyday transactions.

Yeah bitcoins never replace fiat in the future as the market cap and the customer base of fiat is much more wider as compared to bitcoins and people have more faith in fiat and there are some countries where no one accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment and the reason is that the people are not aware about the bitcoins as fiat is traditional and is widely accepted everywhere.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: December 27, 2015, 07:29:56 PM
Having 500.000 USD worth of bitcoins is a perfect amount to enter retirement.
I hope i would get to half of that to be honest.

I think that is right but the main question is will it be enough after 20 years, I mean we don't know where bitcoins will stand in next 20 years either it would reach the moon or simply disappear, the fact is that even if you have 10 btc that would be enough if the value of bitcoins would be in millions after 20 years, so it is just an unknown answer to us that what would be the future of bitcoins after 20 years.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: December 27, 2015, 07:27:00 PM
It's worth the same as any type of fiat.

I use it like real money and this means i care about bitcoin, since it enables me to use it for any online purchases.

Yeah and that is the best thing about bitcoin that is the best when it comes to online purchases and online transfers, the people who are using bitcoins are definitely want that bitcoins should be helpful to them in every stage of their lives and yes it is worth to hold bitcoins at present as it would be revolutionary in the coming years and once you are into bitcoins I don't think you can leave it easily.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 26, 2015, 06:43:15 PM
saving money is very simple in my opinion and you dont need to put in a lot of effort into it if you want to be successful at it, first of all you have to create a cold storage for your bitcoins to save up in and secondly you have to avoid gambling at all costs as it will make you loose at all time

Saving is not that simple as you are saying, it requires a great level of discipline to do so, and if you cannot follow it then you won't be able to save anything at the end of the day, saving should made as an habit and should be followed continuously then only you can hold some savings for the future, and gambling is good if it is just for fun but making it as an addiction would make you loose everything.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: December 26, 2015, 06:39:57 PM
The first I heard bitcoin on my facebook friend. when it was quite a lot of people are talking about bitcoin so that makes me curious and I was quite surprised when the bitcoin price reached $1000 in 2013

Even my friend introduced me to bitcoins one year back, I know I am very late into it, but the day I came to know about bitcoins I started all research on bitcoins and started to find the benefits associated with bitcoins and my friend joined signature campaign and was earning good amount of bitcoins out of it, and I felt that that was the easiest and the best way to earn bitcoins without any risks involved into it.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: December 26, 2015, 06:37:14 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
if you are talking about a global currency, then better explain first sense, because I think the sense of global currency wider than bitcoin itself, bitcoin take many years to become a global currency, but bitcoin has been used by many countries, may be regarded as global currency.

It can be termed as global currency only when majority of the people starts using it, a small proportion of users cannot make bitcoins a global currency and it is used in many countries now but on the other hand majority of the people are not even about what bitcoins is all about, so in that case it is difficult to treat bitcoins as a global currency, and in reality bitcoins can never replace any major currencies.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oops Price is 425$ Now... on: December 26, 2015, 06:34:05 PM
Now Bitcoin is being traded somewhere at an average price of 415 $.If we recall our memories a week ago happened same and price reversed from 405$ and then we saw over 455$.We should get used with this dramatic changes in price now.

That is true, but even at this price I am enjoying profits and I wish that it should reach $1000 mark but even if it remains stable at this price that is good news for me but there will more price fluctuations in the price of btc in coming months for sure and that would be the best time to buy when prices goes down and sell when the prices goes high and need to follow this cycle timely to earn good and quick profits.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: December 26, 2015, 06:30:18 PM
very good for long term investment in bitcoin, because bitcoin will always be at the pump to rise.

but 1 BTC is too little, better 5-10 BTC or more.

For you 1 Bitcoin might be a low amount, but for others it's a large amount. Don't forget that the majority of the Bitcoin holders hold less than 0.2 BTC in their wallets. I personally am trying to reach 10 BTC at some point. That's my goal.

1 BTC for me also quite big. it's just that if you invest long-term in bitcoin better investment with sizeable amount and it will be balanced with your long wait.

Even for me 1 BTC is a good amount of money but it's bit hard to hold on to Bitcoin for long term investment especially when the value of BTC is at its peak but I have decided this time I will not trade my BTC and I will keep it as a long term investment hoping that it will give me a very good return.

yes the price is very decisive, maybe if the price of 1 BTC $10,000 or more I think is pretty good if invest only 1 BTC in the long term investment.

It will take a long time to reach to $10000 I guess, so I think waiting till that time we should sell a part of bitcoins when it is giving us good profits rather then waiting for a long term, as making profits from bitcoins can be more profitable if we deal with it in short term as we are not aware about the future, either it would reach to the moon or simply disappear so it is better to keep on making profits at present.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 26, 2015, 06:26:39 PM
$100 isnt going to happen anymore. If it got anywhere near that the orders would be filled instantly because everyone will be trying to get hold of cheap coins. Id probably go all in at $100.
yeah right when prices began to fall of course everyone will respond that this is an exciting opportunity for profit
when prices fall everyone will instantly buy bitcoin, then bitcoin price certainly will rise again

When price falls people also say that bitcoins will not survive as there are more negative people around us and they will be busy in spreading negative publicity of bitcoins and the people who have faith in bitcoins would surely invest their money in bitcoins if the prices falls down, but looking at the present value of bitcoins, it is really impossible that btc would fall down to $100 and if it does, then it would really take time to grow again.
239  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: December 26, 2015, 06:18:49 PM
I have no words to explain what are the things i like about bitcoin because every single feature of bitcoin is outstanding..Still i will say i very much like it's anonymous and less fees feature..
Sending large amount of money using bitcoin allows us to send that with very less fees anywhere around the world in milliseconds which is a great thing Wink

That's the best thing about the bitcoin I like too, as I use bitcoins mainly for online transfers and it takes fraction of seconds to transfer and the credits are instant with the least fees and the other thing I like about bitcoins is I carry as many bitcoins in my digital wallet and  no one would be aware how much fund I am holding as it not the same case when it comes to fiat currency, as you have limitation to carry fiat currency.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 26, 2015, 06:13:23 PM
Being used in every country this would be good for the bitcoin community, another thing is the number of bitcoin ATM should be increased so people could easily buy or sell bitcoin near and faster.

Exactly. This would drive Bitcoin's price all the way up to the moon if there is end interest in it and gets adopted by major big corporations. Maybe someday we will get to see Bitcoin ATMs everywhere and perhaps we will get to see a famous celebrity using Bitcoin as well.  Roll Eyes

Yes and if it is promoted by famous personalities then it can reach to a next level as proper and positive promotion of bitcoins is very important and it will judge its success or failure in the future, if the adoption level keeps on going higher and higher then bitcoins will surely survive or else it would get replaced by some other new and attractive digital currency in the future as we know that bitcoins would surely be getting some competition from new entrants.
