222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why slow transactions? on: August 21, 2017, 10:21:21 PM
You can google "blockchain unconfirmed transactions" and see for yourself how bad things are right now... I just checked and it was at 53k - So if your fee was small, your transaction could potentially take days to confirm, unfortunately.

Something to think about whenever you decide which bitcoin fork to support... I'd rather have a digital currency which is faster and cheaper Smiley
223  Economy / Services / Re: [Pay per post job] We are paying people on: August 21, 2017, 08:41:26 PM
How come i was rejected for being inactive? I (and many others, i'm sure) were here waiting for your spreadsheet/any updates on the site to start posting. You're the one who went missing and we didn't even know if the campaign was gonna keep going, lol.

In any case, can we even reapply? Now with a spreadsheet things will be more smooth i suppose...

I know this! And im sorry about it. Actually, the main reason behind rejecting is we only need 20 people in this campaign now. So we rejected other by paying them what they did for us.

Sigh... Alright, i guess... Let me know if you have an open spot in the future though, will ya?  Wink

I'd spread that money around if i were you, lol... a -30% day could seriously mess up your finances if you start living off that revenue alone.

And gratz on riding the wave from the beggining i guess, you seized a good opportunity
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ARK still under the radar? on: August 20, 2017, 07:04:13 PM
I think its still low compared to some other coins because what ARK aims to do might take a while to accomplish... and since everything in the crypto world happens so fast, people would rather stick to other coins for the short/middle term instead of committing on ARK right now
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: August 20, 2017, 03:54:21 AM
No one can successfully predict the market right now, anything could happen. Bitcoin can survive and grow exponentially, Bitcoin Cash can surpass it and then grow much higher... They can both coexist with similar prices, or one much higher... There are so many different possible scenarios that i'd recommend either holding both as some kind of hedge against any outcome, or holding neither and wait out the storm (keep your investment in alts/eth/etc)

230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to store multiple coins? on: August 19, 2017, 08:44:51 PM
If you wanna have acess to your private keys, i'd suggest MEW (myetherwallet). You can store any ERC20 token in it, theres a very wide array of coins compatible with it. Other than that i don't think i know about any other wallet that comes even close to storing this many coins. You can check on each coins official site for their recommended storage option. Good luck with your buys Smiley

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth worth the investing? on: August 19, 2017, 05:55:19 PM
Eth is probably the best technology out of all crypto coins. If you want quick gains/losses, i'd say stay away from eth and bet on small market cap coins - but if you're in it for the long h aul, eth is one of the safest bets you could probably make.

And i think the price is very cheap atm compared to what it might one day become - so go for it while its still early Wink

234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your heaviest bags? on: August 19, 2017, 07:42:35 AM
LBC is heavy as heck... The price keeps plummeting nonstop, lol

Gave up on it a few days ago and sold with a minor loss... figured id go for something else instead of waiting possibly years for it to bounce back eventually
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TenX vs. Monaco on: August 19, 2017, 04:35:04 AM
TenX is ahead of Monaco in many ways - it already has a product released to the public and there are many clients using it already. That's reflected on their respective market caps already - TenX is worth roughly 6 times more than Monaco.

What you have to ask yourself is wether TenX should be worth more than 6x Monaco or not...
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos's list of altcoins with some technical merit on: August 18, 2017, 09:54:17 PM
Bitcoin (and the rest of crypto) has almost zero value as a currency...

Seems to me that a trustless, governmentless, unregulatable, peer 2 peer, highly resilient, decentralised method of moving digital cash anywhere in the world has a lot of very real use cases both now and the future.

Unless it takes days to receive confirmations and you have to pay an absurd amount of money as fees... I just hope we don't continue going down that road, which will eventually lead to a crash/much lower adoption rates...

What you described is what we, as users, aim and hope for the most... unfortunately there are a bunch of people with more influence and money disturbing the roots of the coin atm...
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT? What do you think about? on: August 18, 2017, 06:10:59 PM
BAT is not a scam in my opinion, but i find it very hard to see it being successful. They're tapping into the whole ad and browser world that is HEAVILY dominated by google and other huge companies.. Just getting people to switch over to Brave would be a big obstacle - and even then, most people dont like ad's, even if they're being paid a small amount to watch them.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When ETC will rise on: August 18, 2017, 05:32:39 PM
I think it'll never skyrocket... If i had to guess i'd say it would either decline or grow very slowly, up to the point i'd rather invest or diversify my portfolio with another coin - something more 'stable' in cryptocurrencies standards like monero and litecoin. ETC has been losing market cap nonstop if you check on CNC, definitely not a good sign for the future...
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash take over Ethereum? on: August 18, 2017, 01:18:13 PM
You mean in terms of market cap? Maybe, who knows... But that's not really that important - the 2 coins are in no direct competition, they have completely different purposes, so one won't get in the way of the other's growth on the mid to long term.

What should be talked about is if bitcoin cash will be able to surpass bitcoin - now that'd shake things up a lot
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc thoughts ( second ones) on: August 18, 2017, 12:54:50 PM
Banks are actively looking for devs to create their own blockchain - but this doesn't mean they'll stop using the public one we have right now. Think of it like Intranet vs Internet - most companies have their own Intranet but they still need to use the 'public' one - one doesn't directly compete with the other, they can coexist just fine
