221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: August 31, 2017, 01:36:54 AM
How many CAGs is going to be released in total? Could it be calculated by the following:
250,000ETH x ex.rate 500CAG/ETH=125,000,000 CAG ? Is it the correct ammount or not?

Hey,

The total amount of CAG will be dependent on 2 variables:

1. Amount of ETH sent into the funding contract (the more people send ETH the more CAG tokens are created)
2. Participation rates during bonus periods (the more people participate during bonus periods, the more CAG tokens there will be)

I hope many people participate in the bonus period. Although the concept of the project was often I know but promising. ICO starting september 16, may be successful and many investors who join. whether the bounty for facebook held?

We do not have a Facebook bounty programme. But still time to join others!

How do I participate in a bounty program in this project if I have to wait for the time on the date specified when I want to join or can I join now and wait for the spreadsheet update from the team manager in this project. thank you

I am afraid I don't understand the question. If it is about how and when to join the bounty programme, you may do it any time and start collecting points.

Bounty sheets are updated. Taking care of all the bounties is a lot to process so if someone sees that we have missed out or calculated the points wrongly, please private message me with your account details and links to your Change-related activity (whether it is Twitter, blog, Bitcointalk sig, etc) and the correct amount of points.

Regarding Twitter - there are hundreds of accounts signed up for the Twitter bounty without any tweets and 0 points collected. We removed everyone with 0 points. Once you get points, you will be on the list as well. Also, if your account is private and locked, there is no way for us to check what you have tweeted.

Regarding Bitcointalk sigs - please send us an overview of your posts done with the Change signature every Sunday.

Regarding Youtube - the programme is currently empty, which means that anyone going into this programme will be getting a lot of CAG. Sign up!

I have sent you personal message with all my tweets. Please check it again. And recalculate my points. Thank you.

All fixed, sent a PM as well. Let me know if OK.

Hello. I have a question from Russian bounty thread. Participants are confused that they were not requested to provide ETH or any other wallet address. Could you please clarify?

We'll reach out to everyone involved once the ICO ends. On Twitter, Bitcointalk and Youtube we will personally message participants and ask for the wallet addresses. With blogs, we ask people to prove they have access to these posts by slightly modifying them, after which we'll ask for the wallet address.

We strongly encourage people to join the Youtube bounty, since 15% of the entire bounty programme is devoted to Youtube and there are currently no participants.

If you are looking for someone who can do video in Spanish, you can contact with this guy:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=182185

He (his team) make videos in Spanish for few crypto projects (for example Dimcoin, WCX) with good result, maybe he will be interested to join this bounty Wink I send him also PM with link to that post Wink

Thanks, will be in touch!

Change vs Bankera, which to choose and why?

I think the biggest difference between Change and Bankera is that Bankera is looking to act like a traditional bank - one centralized platform where Bankera offers a range of financial services, just like any bank. Change is essentially the contrary to it.

The philosohpy behind the Change model is the understanding that banks which focus on all main financial products at once (like Bankera) don't really excel in any product and therefore offer mediocre services. We at Change believe that fintech companies, which specialize in one financial product, offer a much better service than a traditional bank.

If Change aggregates many fintech companies together into one marketplace, then a customer of Change gets to cherry pick the best loan offerings, ETF investments, real-estate investments and insurance options the market has to offer.

It looks like interesting project, but I have a couple of questions.
Do you guys have experience in getting banking licence in the EU or any other country? Why are you saying in the whitepaper that you will apply for banking licence only when reaching the last milestone? I do not think that you need to have so much money to open a bank...

Change doesn't intend to apply for a traditional banking licence at first, which is due to the decentralised marketplace model. However, in the future we do wish to offer our customers IBAN accounts etc. On the contrary, this requires vast amounts of capital reserves.

If you are more interested in banking licenses, I could possibly arrange a call with the team to walk through the financial plan. Please leave a private message so I could get you in touch with the team.

What of the three things ( mastercard, app, marketplace) actually exist?

Change started off as a fiat product with a closed beta (https://changeapp.wordpress.com/2017/05/26/we-have-invited-the-first-testers-to-our-office/) and a Mastecard agreement. We are currently working on modifciations to the product to make it cryptocurrency compatible.

Regarding the marketplace - we are currently integrating with the first three fintech companies (Smartly (https://www.smartly.sg), Danabijak (https://danabijak.com) and BitOfProperty (http://www.bitofproperty.com/).

Interested in your ICO but when I click on https://change-bank.com/ico/ I see the following

"Change does not onboard investors from the United States, Estonia, or Singapore."

How are you a decentralised bank for e-residents but you do not onboard investors from Estonia or Singapore??

We have been advised by our legal team to do this. Thanks for your understanding.

Meaning that this ICO does not meet the Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289) (SFA) of Singapore and this token
constitute a product like a security? But your office is based in Singapore and your lawyers advised you to just "avoid
onboarding Singaporeans" to go around this regulation? Huh Huh Huh

Do take note that conducting this ICO on Singapore soil means that you are operating under Singapore's laws.. you are treading on
dangerous grounds. I do not mean to give any negative comments but just want to advise caution as any negative news in the
crypto space is bad for everyone in general..

The ICO is carried out by companies registered in Estonia (in the European Union), where cryptocurrencies are not regulated. The platform is designed to work as a global application, meaning it will not be tied to any particular country. As both the SEC (US) and the MAS (Singapore) have issued notices on ICOs, we have received council to not accept investors from respective countries.

Well you aren't the first, and I am getting a bit annoyed by nearly each and every project calling themselves the first whatever, even when they are actually number 5, or 8 or 40!

But I'm willing to forget that in a jiffy if you can tell me if you are an actual bank? Will you enjoy actual bank status? And fall under bank jurisdiction and regulation?

Change isn't an actual bank. Change reimagines the role of a bank by offering access to specialised fintech service-providers.
