221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: March 19, 2018, 10:45:55 AM
Bitcoin has proven to be sound as gold/fiat currencies if not more sound. It is faster to move arround, it is backing more than 600 other cryptocurrencies, Its value has increase over the years at an exponential rate and only downside with Bitcoin is that it is deflatory

Yes, bitcoin itself is a cryptocurrency. This aims to be an equal amount and use of money. Bitcoi. is also an investment where we could really earn money. Whem used properly amd if bitcoin will have its place as leading crypto this could indeed be really profitable.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 16, 2018, 10:44:51 PM
it will come down to how much.

bitcoin is a currency and like any other currencies like USD,... it is used for a wide variety of reasons by different types of people. if 90% of the usage were for illegal activities then talking about it was justified. but the usage of bitcoin for anything illegal is less than 5% and possibly now it is near 0% because of the fees.

at some point in the past it may have been different though. by the time bitcoin was new and people didn't know that bitcoin is not anonymous and also by the time the real anon coins like Monero were not around or popular. now everyone who wants to do something illegal and remain anonymous either uses USD cash or uses anon coins like Monero.

Well, this could be the negative side of bitcoin, that it could be used for illegal purposes since its character is anonymity. This could indeed be capitalized by those whose motives are crooked. Let us just hope that this will not be the only consideration for bitcoin to be banned.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Working for Bitcoin on: March 16, 2018, 02:06:39 PM
I'm just a Sr. here in this forum just part of this bitcoin forum, happy to be here for you bitcoins make you but you're not tired of what's happening to the guys who like those situations but many are watching for just a bit of it here. I just want to say what I'm doing here inside this forum I'm joining bounty campaigns and airdrops that are free of charge that you're only free that you're free just like that when it's done here, I sometimes gamble with the free faucet.

I am just earning bitcoin through joining campaigns. I think it is too risky to do trading and for someone who doesn't have so much to invest big money, this is the most profitable way to earn.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 09:37:48 PM
The question you brought up about whether governments are considering buying up bitcoins is an interesting one.

It looks like the classic Prisoner's Dilemma problem. All governments would be better off if bitcoin died out, but the first government to initiate a bitcoin-reserve buying program would be in a much better position than other governments if bitcoin does become ubiquitous.

I think in the world of American hegemony we lived in between 1990-2000 there would be no bitcoin buying, but in an increasingly bipolar world of East vs. West that is developing today along with a few fragmented rogue states such as North Korea and Iran, someone will defect and start buying bitcoin which will trigger a cascade of strategic buying.

Disagree about the creation of i-coin though. No nation has enough power to unseat a truly global currency like bitcoin once it becomes ubiquitous, unless they conquer a super-majority of the world.

Bitcoin could be the fiture of money. Time will come that we will have a cashless society and bitcoin will be the currency. This could be a uniform currency wherein we can use this wherever we are in the globe.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: March 15, 2018, 12:03:16 PM
It's never too late or too early. All that matters is understanding what you are investing in and why. Will BTC outperform the stock market over the next 20 years? If you think so, then it is obviously not too late at all.

As always though, diversification is key. A balanced portfolio should includes multiple asset classes, and as long as BTC is viewed as one of those asset classes then I see no problem with it. Dumping all your savings into BTC and hoping for the best, is obviously not s strategy, but pure speculation.

I think in bitcoin, age doesn't matter. Investment encompasses age. But of course, it is good to invest in bitcoin when we're young. We will be able to have a close guard to our investments for long.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 15, 2018, 10:18:25 AM
I'm sure that the price will stabilize, but when I can not say this. This situation strains me strongly

At this time, even when bitcoin is in its downtrend we should not be so worried because surely time will come that bitcoin will recover into its uptrend state. Let us just not panic. Just keep calm and love bitcoin.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Should Love Bitcoin on: March 14, 2018, 01:06:53 PM
Because is a crypto leading coin and well secure with private key on blockchain family, and is the best so far and accessible in market exchange 24 hours demands and supply in market and secondly Bitcoin is the best to invest and have a great return, and is profitable.

Reasons to love bitcoin are: It has a lot of potentials, bitcoin in its early years has been making an impact. Next, this makes our lives easier, we can trade easily. We cn make fast transactions without fee and without the government as an intruder
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin falls again: how to react on: March 14, 2018, 12:03:01 PM
Bitcoin price drop is simply because of the law of supply and demand. If a bad news was released, many people want to get rid of the coins they have due to panic. Sometimes fud after fud comes out so all the more people lets go of their kept coins thus further lowering the value of bitcoin. So if more people sell, more bitcoins are available for sale. This lowers the demand for bitcoin resulting to decrease of its value. So to counter that, instead of selling our coins out of panic, we must buy more coins to leverage the amount of sold coins. We must do this together so that any fud or bad news won't affect the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is in our hands. Let's help each other.
I agree with you. Now we are all experiencing not the best of times. Demand for bitcoin has fallen, the price is also falling. People are less interested in bitcoin and crypto-currencies. But I'm not worried about this, because I'm sure everything will be fine, for the bitcoin is the future.

The best reaction is to keep calm. Besides, we can do nothing about it ourselves. Butcoin will always be undergoing fluctuations. We can never tell when its price will go up and down. We just have to be composure enough to cope up and deal with it wisely.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 14, 2018, 11:37:13 AM
Bitcoin still need any promotion it can get and social media is just perfect for that.

Well, if the goal is to really promote bitcoin, social media is the best tool. Social media use encompasses age group, race, and nationality. The social media is a good way to reac people and to inform them how beneficial bitcoin could be
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: March 14, 2018, 11:14:18 AM
It's a good idea to teach your kid as young as this age but make sure that you will monitor your kid consistenly to avoid those things that can harm or influence their mind. But it would be a challenge for us parents. Though as for I got two kids but I prefer to not teach them as of this moment and I haven't thought any approach yet. I just wanted them to make the most of their childhood. But I would still teach them when I think the time is right. Nevertheless, Goodluck in teaching your kid.

Kids can also learn and earn through bitcoin. This could be an advantage for them. Kids these days do just play video games, mobile phones, and other gadgets. It would be better if they will do something profitable.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: March 14, 2018, 10:28:48 AM
Actually, I already spread bitcoin to other by explaining what I know and I get. and many people can accept and enthusiastic.

We can promote bitcoin in many ways. This could be through the social media which is a total fad nowadays, this could also be promoted through the media either written or viewed or the most effective is through word of mouth.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: March 13, 2018, 01:24:29 PM
Probably not as there will be no more supply. It should increase If the demand remains the same/increase. I wouldn't think much about it though, we would be all dead by then.

The price will never be stable. Bitcoin's price will always undergo fluctation. As the market cap goes, the bitcoin price also does. We just have to wait until bitcoin goes into its best position again.
233  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Gain bitcoin, but don't lose life on: March 13, 2018, 03:05:45 AM
Though bitcoin may help us financially, it's not the ultimate point of life.

As long as alam mo ang limitasyon mo walang magiging problema sa kasalukuyang pamumuhay mo.

234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: March 12, 2018, 01:31:04 PM
Everyone of us might be gone then but bitcoin survives.

Well, for sure. As technology advances, so with bitcoin. Bitcoin will also keep on innovating as the technology improves, bitcoin will also upgrade. Bitcoin copes with the advent of modernization and globalization
235  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cryptocurrency have cause deaths on: March 12, 2018, 06:02:47 AM
It depends parin kung pano mo gagamitin ang crypto. Magiging cause of death talaga to kung aabusuhin mo sarili mo ng kumita ng malaki sa crypto currency. Kung marunong kang mag ingat hindi to magiging dahilan para makasama sayo at nasa tao parin kung pano nila gagamitin ang crypto in a good or bad ways.

236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: March 09, 2018, 08:16:09 PM
every investment is risky, do not put all eggs in one basket

There is always a risk in bitcoin. Now that it's in downtrend or it has a lower value, holding could be a risk. What if bitcoin eventually continues to go down
what will happen to the people depending on it through investment.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2018, 01:16:54 PM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink

The aspects of Bitcoin that would need to be changed for rapid mainstream adoption are not necessarily the ones that I'd like to see being changed.

For example, Bitcoin is a pseudonymous currency. In my view this is a plus. But it would be even better if it were a truly anonymous currency, making financial surveillance by the ruling authoritarians impossible. That however isn't improving the prospect of mainstream adoption, because the governmental control freaks like to do surveillance and will harass and threaten corporations and individuals who do not comply.

So mainstream adoption at all costs is definitely not a desirable goal if it means that Bitcoin's core values are surrendered in the process.

Instead of starting the 1000th altcoin clone, consider contributing to Bitcoin Core if you really have some competence. We don't need yet another premine scam.

ya.ya.yo!

Well, of course not everybody is willing to accept change. Bitcoin has been circulating just for a few years. People don't have confidence yet to what can it do since this is new to many. Also, bitcoin  is still unstable its fluctuations always change that's why a lot of people are still skeptic of it.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world? on: March 09, 2018, 11:53:28 AM
I don't think bitcoin can destroy the world, it is a opposite view of bitcoin. But if we say bitcoin improved economic growth all over the world, I really agree on that, but negative issue of bitcoin business is not a new in bitcoin business, almost everyday there are some forms of negative issues about bitcoin business, maybe because of the rapid popularity and increase of people who access bitcoin that's why a lots of people also wants to destruct the smooth operation of bitcoin.

Bitcoin will actually help build the world. Let's say there are really a lot of effects to our electricity usage amd connections but that be rehabilitated and helped. We just need to be more cautious though to its possible effect to us.
239  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin transaction offline on: March 09, 2018, 06:20:07 AM

240  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Panibagong panukala ukol sa merito. on: March 09, 2018, 04:58:52 AM

Karagdagang Hamon:  Shocked Shocked Shocked
