221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currencies VS local law policies on: December 07, 2019, 04:02:07 PM
The volatility of bitcoin as well as its decentralization makes it hard for some countries to accept and use it. They can't put regulations on it and can't track the transactions done using this currency, whether it's illegal or not. Also, the economy and fiat of a country can be overpowered by bitcoin that also adds up to doubts and worries of some countries to it. Luckily, here in my country, there are no such rules and regulations about using bitcoin and cryptos. The government stays neutral about this topic. We can freely use bitcoin and transact with it without any worries of violating any government rules.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: December 07, 2019, 03:22:27 PM
In order to earn profit in trading, we must take the risk no matter how big or small it is. But if you want to earn a big amount of profit, yes a big amount of capital is needed, the same goes for trading with a small amount of capital. If you are afraid to take the risk, nothing will happen. Doubting and hesitation do not have a place in trading, although it will be helpful sometimes, still taking risks is the best option to do. Just keep in mind that there's nothing else you can do if you lose the capital you used in trading but to move on. Use capital that you can afford to lose.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 07, 2019, 02:57:27 PM
I have recently been quite curious about the many debates about which currency is better.
Many people say that they will choose Crypto because it is convenient and creates a common currency, bringing equality to all countries.
And some people choose Fiat money because they've been used to using it for decades and now they have credit cards and wallet payment apps online, so why do you need crypto?
Which side do you think is right? I want to hear from you sincerely.

I don't think cryptos and fiat should be a topic in a debate cause they have different advantages and disadvantages. Why do you have to choose from these two currencies if you can use both? I would like to use both. Fiat for daily transactions especially in my country (Philippines) where small stores do not accept and use cryptos. Cryptos, on the other hand, are good storage of value and a good currency that can be used in all countries. Also transactions are easily done, hustlefree and it is very convinient.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 06, 2019, 03:16:54 PM
guys how to get around local tax laws and convert crypto earnings into legal fiat?
actually it's easy to solve this problem. we live to register the results of our income to the taxation agency and register the job as IT or internet marketing. register the amount of monthly income so that we will still pay us even though the actual income through crypto
It is one thing, if you really don't want to avoid paying tax then you can put to your record that you are working online or freelance.
Actually there is still no taxation law saying that crypto users are subject to paying tax. As of now, it is still under the consideration of the government (depends on the country you reside in). If crypto is legal in your country, then sooner or later, paying tax is necessary.
Expect that to happen once the government will impose taxations once the rules for crypto already being ordered. There's no way that you can avoid
as it required by the laws that every individuals who are getting salaries inside the jurisdictions of the government is subjected to pay tax to help
the country, it's an obligation that citizens need to follow.
There's no doubt. After the cryptocurrencies been added to the constitution of one country you can guarantee that they will impose taxation. Fortunately, we have no law regarding this matter so I can freely spend some of my coins without paying any taxes. Cryptocurrency and blockchain is very promising technology indeed and I have no issue about getting a tax on it because I do believe this will have an impact on the improvement of one place especially on third world countries.
We are earning a lot of money without paying any taxes that is why I think the government wants to regulate or give tax to us crypto traders or bounty hunters but how do they do that if they do not know who are earning, maybe the banks can give taxes but not the government because they do not know who are the group of people organizing cryptocurrency since cryptocurrency are decentralized, meaning there are no people involved managing every transaction we are making.
Yes, I agree. We are making tons of money with cryptos and this is the reason why the government would like to put taxes on it but in my country, the taxes paid in converting cryptos to fiat are through wallets and banks where the transaction happens, the government is not involved. It is not that big so I think it's fine to pay taxes through these things, after all, it is our obligation as a citizen in a country.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 24, 2019, 10:57:54 PM
With the current market, it is not surprising that less investors will  invest in IEO. With the dumps that is happening in the market as well as the big dump of these IEO, instead of gaining profit, investors rather lose their money. Investors would prefer to buy bitcoin and ethereum that has bigger chances of giving big ROI than these unknown IEOs that has not yet proven their potentials in the market.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin Dominance Has Topped then Ethereum Will Blast on: November 24, 2019, 10:39:13 PM
We have all known that when bitcoin fall in price, every other coin follow. So I'm not expecting anything different now that bitcoin is down. Most coins are going down now and that is because bitcoin price is not making much improvement this year but going down.

Yes I agree. Most coins in the market as well as ethereum depends on bitcoin. Whatever the trend of bitcoin has, these coins follow the same trend. The correction is taking tonlong in this current situation and I think it will take a long time to do that. So we should not expect anything from bitcoin and ethereum for now. Hopefully the market will pump soon.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 24, 2019, 09:56:53 PM
One of the good things of bitcoin is its power as a decentralized storage of value and asset which are mostly needed by countries that are having problems and crisis with their own currency and country. The riot in Hongkong serves as a threat in hongkong nationals in losing their country as well as to the government they have. In relation to this, they are threatened with the possibility to lose their freedom and assets, and maybe this is the reason why they choose to put their assets in bitcoin because of its potential in the future.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: November 24, 2019, 08:45:30 PM
Yes it is possible. There are many coins that does not survive in the market, yes it's true, but there are also many coins that survive and even take over the market, although it is really hard to achieve. For such token to succeed in the market, it should be able to withstand and raise its own trend in the market without depending on bitcoin, which most coins/tokens cannot do just like what's currently happening in the market.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investor lost $24 million worth of bitcoin on: November 24, 2019, 08:19:49 PM
Such a huge amount of bitcoin should not be stored in a single online wallet. We all know that everything in the internet can be hacked and can be easily stolen. Such a pity to this man. I hope this doesn't happen to him again or to anyone else.

And I hope karma hits them with a great bang!
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 23, 2019, 01:31:13 PM
In order to consider a project a good and legit project, it should have money in order to support and raise a fund if it wants to be listed in an exchange. This is the reason why many projects can't list their tokens in an exchange is because of the fee they have to pay especially in Binance which is one of the largest trading platforms in cryptoworld. Tokens to be listed in this kind of exchange should be useful and valuable to cryptoworld and not just some scam tokens.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 21, 2019, 01:35:06 AM
As of now, there are various cryptocurrencies with unique features that enables people to earn some money along the way. Most cryptocurrencies are PoS-based which allows anyone to earn money depending on the number of coins held on the wallet. I've toppled across several PoS coins that are highly rewarding, yet extremely risky because of the constant flux of prices within the crypto market.

On the other hand, mineable coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum are also highly rewarding, but somewhat complicated to get ahold of if you're not accustomed with setting up miners on your own. The cloud mining approach seems to be much easier than mining at home, but most of the services available today are complete scams. Signature campaigns are a great way to make some money with crypto, but are not easy as they sound (since you're required to make quality posts over time).

Which is why, I want to know what's the easiest way to make money with crypto today? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Smiley

Earning money is not easy and is very risky when it comes to cryptocurrencies which are unstable. Although it is very risky to do these things in order to earn money, it is still better to do something than to do nothing at all. In trading, we can say that many people lose money because of the current market. Only a few people earn a profit, it is either they're lucky or they really studied the token and its chances to give big ROI. When it comes to the signature campaigns, there are still many profitable and decent projects out there. They also offer a good amount of money, although it takes a lot of time, it's still worth a try.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 21, 2019, 12:54:06 AM
I do not know if there are any rules or law regarding cryptocurrencies since there are many people engaging themselves to crypto and I haven't heard of anyone put to jail because of this, well, there are few who uses the name bitcoin in scamming people base on the news. But even though some people use it in scams, the government isn't triggered by this to the point where they'll put rules regarding cryptos, therefore, police are not really aware of cryptos or anything connected to this. Also, they see many other crimes that are happening here to be more focused on and police are trained to eliminate them.

234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 20, 2019, 03:34:59 PM
I'm a student and I started in this forum with the help of a friend. As soon as I learned that I am able to earn money from it without paying money through bounty campaigns, I didn't hesitate to grab the opportunity to do so. Luckily, I am now earning money and as a student, it is a really big help to earn money on my own. I remember they (my other friends) didn't believe me when I told them I earned money from this but now that they saw proofs, they started to get interested and are willing to learn everything about bitcoin, on how to join a campaign and especially on how to earn money from it. Sometimes, you just need to show people proof in order to awaken their interest in something, after all, you can't force anyone to like something.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: November 20, 2019, 03:07:11 PM
It is a nice idea. Projects that are legit will not hesitate to do and agree to escrow and pay some amount of money in order to start a project, in this case, they will do their best to be better or on the other hand, they will never start a scam project at all. But still, there are and will always be scam projects because people keep involving themselves with this. Most bounty hunters do not care whether a project is a scam or not, as long as they can earn money from it, they will grab the opportunity no matter what the consequence is. That is the sad thing here in the forum.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 02:23:43 PM
I like to share my story being a crypto enthusiast, a trader and an investor at the same time.

I started in this forum in year 2015 when altcoins are still a good investment and Binance is still not the most popular exchange in the market.
I trade with Poloniex most of the time, sometimes I trade with Bittrex but then I realize that I am not so profitable with trading since I cannot focus on it due to the reason that i have a day job to prioritize.

Therefore, I started to invest for long term and I was entice by how the market moves and I was so optimistic that long term could really change my life.
So to make the story short, I invested with different altcoins and have help it until now.

Now, when the bull run comes, I still couldn't sell right away as I was getting greedy thinking I could earn more when I still hold.
of course, who would not HODL when all your friends in the group chat are also doing the same, even if the price rise high already, they are still saying HODL, and I really do it, and just sell a small portion of my investment to reward myself temporarily was I was into a big goal with my remaining investment.

And then, the correction comes started in year 2018, and I still didn't panic, continue to hold and even accumulate a bit when I see price has really dump a lot, just imagine ETH drop 10 times, so its really cheap and really tempting for any investors. So here I am now, I am still holding at a big loss but at the same time I am still hopeful one day my dreams will come into reality.

So top 10 of my portfolio consist of the following based on my blockfolio.

1) Atlant
2) Edgeless
3) Centra
4) Humaniq
5) Matchpool
6) Lunyr
7) KIN
8.) FUEL
9) SONM
10)NPXS

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.

I think Holders are not fools for holding and wishing their tokens to have better prices in the future. It is not foolishness to do that, it is your choice after all. As for the part where you feel greedy to think you could earn more than the current price of your tokens during that time of the peak, well I can say you're not alone. Most people will feel the same way as you are when it comes to money but for me, until when will you have that kind of thought? I think it is nice to be positive but we should also think of the consequences we might face if things don't go as we plan. I would say that you should put a limit as to how much price you want to make with such investment, in that way you can satisfy yourself with the guarantee that you earned money from that token. But the decision is still yours to decide.  Wink

238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 17, 2019, 03:18:45 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

It's almost the end of the year and bitcoin does not show any hype like the past years' trend and yeah, it's kinda disappointing but I also see this as an opportunity to buy more and invest more bitcoins and altcoins that have great potential in the market. I believe that bitcoin has a big chance to rise again in the coming months or years. Better be ready for it.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: November 16, 2019, 07:09:54 AM
I do not know how to mine bitcoins and ethereum that is why I can't say anything about it. I also do not invest in altcoins by directly buying and trading it from an exchange but I do know how to join bounty campaigns in order to earn and receive altcoins as payment. Yes, I do agree that some ICOs (most of them to be honest) turns out to be a scam, and believe me, I experienced it so many times, but it doesn't stop me from investing my time and knowledge doing this kind of work. I do not have the capital to buy altcoins to start with. I only have spare time to join bounty campaigns like what I've said before, although it is too risky to be involved in scam ICOs, if you are lucky enough to join legit campaigns, the profit is good too.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: November 16, 2019, 06:02:29 AM
This is how scamming works. Scammers hire good writers to write their whitepaper as well as marketing agents to publicize and advertise the campaign that may give them a million bucks if the project seems to be legit and promising. It's just sad that more and more people are engaging in this kind of activity - deceiving others in order to make money for themselves.
