222  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: August 15, 2018, 02:26:13 AM
If someone is interested of a certain thing he/she will do it seriously to get what he/she wanted. In crypto currency, it needs a lot of patience and knowledge to understand the situation of the market value. There are some false news around that make the minds of the people panic. So it needs a lot of time and effort  to accept the volatility of the market. Self experiences helps in encouraging people to stay and value crypto currency.
For  me...In reality, encouraging people to stay will be a part of needs and helping . . . .Stay because I need you, stay because I want to help you. In crypto world time is all that matter of course. Staying required a lot of time, so encourage them to stay if the market is on the good shape but if not... you need to decide what is the best thing to do . I think, it's okay to leave for a while if the market is on it's down fall.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I am buying bitcoins - and why I am keeping them. on: August 15, 2018, 02:15:44 AM
Bitcoin can’t be “frozen”
If a business deal goes wrong, if someone sues me, if a future wife divorces me and says “I get everything”, if I am friends with a sanctioned political leader - because you survive by being on the side of those in power, - if, if, if, if....... so many things might go wrong.  I could wake up one morning, and find my bank accounts frozen, and my credit cards don’t work.   They can’t ever freeze my bitcoin.   The code is in my head.

I love that one, specially if no one knows about how many bitcoin or altcoins that you've had already. This will be the back-up plan on your life and possible can named as "the comeback" of course. That will be a great solution when disaster come. But hopefully, you divide or separate them to avoid a full loss from scamming or hacking. Well posted folks!
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can a newbie benefits from crypto revolution on: August 15, 2018, 02:05:44 AM
Hello forumites, I'm a newbie in the crypto world and would like to benefit from this latest financial technology.  The problem is I don't have capital and do not seem to grab knowledge of bounties very well as there a lot of them. How can I benefit from this blockchain revolution even as a noob without capital.
Thanks
We are all start on a zero knowledge about this future crypto currency but it doesn't mean that you can't have any benefit on block chain revolution or crypto world. Most of the bounty hunters or all bounty hunter does not need to have any capital cause they only need time, effort , computer and internet as well. But first you need to learn about what is this market for... Simply benefits by learning new things while earning, you gonna start from small but someday you will encounter hodl, trading and investing. Just continue reading and joining some useful thread specially in market place folks!
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash looks better than Bitcoin on: August 15, 2018, 02:00:43 AM
For some reason not... Why? it's because the limited uses of bitcoin cash if we compare to the main and top crypto currency "bitcoin". Just for example, on buying some alternative coins, the bitcoin is the main virtual payment if you want them. And obvious one, bitcoin is more popular than bitcoin cash.

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Being Scammed Again on: August 14, 2018, 12:46:31 AM
I've seen many users complaining about being scammed by ICO projects most of them are new investors which probably gonna be the next generation of investors in cryptocurrency industry. I've been here in the cryptocurrency industry for a year and I've invested into different projects and seen how they disappear in the thin air, so to avoid this I want to share to you my criteria on choosing the right ICO or project to invest in.

This is not guaranteed but maybe in some point it may help you atleast to reduce the possibility on getting scammed by ICO's, the list below are my personal criteria how I choose Project to invest with using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency:

  • Check the Background of the team (If the team didn't give info about each member of the team such as name previous projects, background, etc. There's a possibility that they will just run away with your money if they didn't give info's about their team.)
  • Read their whitepaper and look if it's really worth to invest with, their concept, etc. (This is important to know what the project is all about.)
  • Check the Social media accounts, If you find it very interesting presentable. (Join their telegram group in order to be updated.)
  • Check the Projects professionalism (How they handle users, control frauds, etc.)
  • Follow their Roadmap and other technical details and see if they meet it on time.
  • Look for the projects community and see if the community is active.
  • Look for special proof and validation.
  • Do your own research about the project such as review about the projects or you can also check the projects ANN thread to see comments who's agree/disagree or the communities idea about the project because ANN threads is like an open forum where you can ask, give insights, etc.

NOTE: Investment is one of the riskiest way to earn money. Invest only what you can afford to lose, in investment there's only two possible outcome it's either you will earn or you will learn. Learn from your mistakes.

Just like what I've said this steps are my personal steps on choosing ICO/Projects in where I'm going to invest in. This may not help you but I hope you'll learn at least a little in my little sharing. Have great day every one, ciao.

PS. If you have something to share in order to avoid scam or any topic related feel free to share so everyone will learn from us.

This is a very useful thread/post, most of the newbie investors need this one. Just like, prevention is better than cure. Well, let's make it more simple... human have a sinful nature and one of those is to be greedy specially when money is the main character, so if you want to avoid those kind of crap human mind, better to read those things and learn atleast the important detail above.

This is so true and I always do this, "  Do your own research about the project such as review about the projects or you can also check the projects ANN thread to see comments who's agree/disagree or the communities idea about the project because ANN threads is like an open forum where you can ask, give insights, etc."
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait? on: August 14, 2018, 12:42:17 AM
Waiting is a sort of action on staying where one is or delaying action until a particular time or until something else happens. For me, that is look like doing nothing and wasting time sometimes. Well, in crypto community... you need to encounter that specially in investing and trading. This requires a lot of patience and other stuff that need to develop if you want to be a successful one. Mostly said "It's a matter of time" and sometimes you need to hold your patience to earn more.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW was error on: August 12, 2018, 09:13:38 AM
I have an advice for you, if you open the wallet MEW should use the Firefox web browser. Absolutely not to use Coccoc and Chrome and another browser.
For what reason Sir? Is there anything wrong about google and other browsing website except the firefox? How about internet explorer? Can you please explain why for some good reason, I think that is much better read with... Looking forward to it!
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CASPER API it is first system decentralized cloud-based data storage for DAPPS on: August 12, 2018, 09:10:28 AM
I was looking out for this project for quiet some time now and hopefully they will resolve the issues soon and get the approval for the token sale. The market is negative for the ICO's right now so I guess it was for the good.
Explicitly what we are doing and wishing for right now. Still we're hanging-on with this platform as we still believe in that they can have the resolutions to break-off the sudden circumstances happened.
I hope so, but still the team is active on their official telegram somehow. That is better than doing nothing specially on the blurred time like this. All they need is a great comeback of course, the question is how and when?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to Google to have their own coin ? on: August 11, 2018, 06:41:23 PM
Yes it's possible, but I don't think that google will do that. If they want that, I think almost 90 percent of their customer will back out cause most people want a free service from google. It's a no no for sure!
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO on: August 11, 2018, 06:39:06 PM

Here is my check-list when choosing ICO for Bounty or investment:

1) Country if ICO origin. Some eastern countries are an obvious red flag for me.
2) ICO team. Always Google as many team members as possible. Simple check of LinkedIn profiles is not enough.
In my opinion best teams are international ones.
3) Whitepaper. Google key statements and chapters of the Whitepaper to make sure are they unique. It takes certain amount of time, but allows to detect fragments stolen from other Whitepapers.
4) ICO ranking sites do not mean much for me, they wont refund my investments!
Always make your own research.
5) ICO idea and technology - is the last thing I check.
Remember, Bitcoin has slowest and the most expensive transactions, but it's still all time top CAP coin. Wink

Nice post Sir, well said. But I think you need to prioritize the number 5. Why? , cause is all about the idea and the service of course. We need to see if the ICO idea is in demand on your place or can caught the attention on the crypto market. But I agreed on you in "Bitcoin has slowest and the most expensive transaction" .  Overall, excellent post!
234  Economy / Marketplace / Re: your own factors behind an investment on: August 11, 2018, 06:31:13 PM
Question:   what is a main  factor between these that motivate you to invest into a project ?
 BIG name investors
 partnerships
 Capital behind project
 news outlets coverage
 none of the above

I usually look who are the "Partners in business" of that specific crypto project. Simple, if that project has or have a lot of good partners... it means that project is trusted by those who already existed business and it is no joke at all. It's not easy to have a partners that will support all the plan of a newly created project. How much more if that partner is a big one?
235  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is the most critical moments in Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin history on: August 11, 2018, 06:16:22 PM
Most painful and critical moment is when we lose internet connection, it's simple means than everything will be wasted. Every supply and it's currency will gone like a bubble in the air. That is the disadvantage of virtual money ( not tangible in reality ) . Well, I don't know what is the most critical in the history of the crypto currency.. I just used my own imagination to add some some useful idea.
236  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: August 11, 2018, 06:13:19 PM
Can bitcoin in the future surpass gold?

This one is a quite interesting question,well... bitcoin has a good price but I don't think that this thing can surpass the gold for some reason. The main reason is about the limited count of gold, and the bitcoin has too much count than gold ( and still counting and growing ) . The more mining makes it lessen the value cause of too much supply I think. What do you think, this is just my own view about the comparison of each two party.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look for in a New Project? on: August 10, 2018, 08:56:04 AM
New pop up projects? uhm... the uses of its token and their service and also the uniqueness with a demand of the community. There's a lot of newly created crypto project with a good idea and vision but can't get the attention of the bitcoiner users. Why,it's because of the similarity of old projects.. that's why I usually look the uniqueness and demand of it's services ( token ) . Hope I add important details here.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 10, 2018, 08:51:46 AM
This is the most entertaining thread here in alternative coins section, well posted by the author. I love reading all the details here, well to be a participant here. I usually divide token or coins into two section only. The first one is the profitable creation and shit creations coins. Don't make it complicated, as long as I got profit is all that matter.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product a key factor for a project? on: August 10, 2018, 08:47:30 AM
key factor for what?

you should first clarify your goals in this market and then seek to fulfill those goals. in this way you will be a lot more successful.
for instance here why do you care about "product" of a project?
are you going to actually be using that product and use that ICO token for something in real life? if yes then you are correct to ask this question.

but are you looking for these things because you want profit? as in investing in an ICO that says it has a product so that you can have a better chance at profit?
in which case you are asking wrong questions because profit in altcoin market and among tokens is not ensured that way. the pumps ensure profit and nothing else. the group with the most pumping experience and more money to spare will give you the most amount of profit. that is sad but true.
I think he/she shortcut the question and the explanation why he/she create this thread.  Well, I think that is "key factor to success" and that is one of the idiot post I've seen. Because the answer is obvious and need to discuss through the newbie area but not here in altcoin discussion. No offense, just to lessen the common thread here in bitcointalk.org.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 10, 2018, 08:43:23 AM
Why not, they got trust and reputation by doing those kind of rating in different kind of field, from marketing through projects itself and many more. Well, they need to do their work professionally and to be careful what they rate cause there are so many expert that visit their site. That's why I visit those famous ICO rating website like icobench.com and many more.
