Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks

No there is no late when it comes to bitcoin because even if you are late to start on bitcoin you can still earn. Just like me actually I started only last year and now I can earn money and I can help my family on our financial. Bitcoin will be forever because it can help us to make our life better.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best sources of information on: March 03, 2018, 12:34:32 PM
Where do you guys get your info from?  Like Twitter, PBC, coindesk articles, etc.  Always looking for new sources for research Smiley

I think the best sources of information is through social media because in social media all of the information that you want to know is in there. There's google that you can write what you want to know for example is bitcoin if you search it on google there are so many information there all about bitcoin.
223  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin changes the world on: March 03, 2018, 11:33:39 AM
Will you dare to change the world using Bitcoin? In what way? Share your thoughts.

I think there's a possibility to change the world. I think it can change the world for the better because bitcoin helps so many people to be rich and successful so what if it's worldwide. Just like on my friend he is now an independent person because of bitcoin and now he can help his family on their financial.

I hope you can help me get started.  Wink

Edit: Thank you guys, your information is helping a lot, I already have a wallet, feel free to help me Smiley 1KnWzEdJgAmE3rB3Xax8sDfydnikguxrhh

I suggest to you that join a signature campaign or bounty campaign in this forum because it can helps you a lot. 225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 08:03:48 AM
With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?

There's a time when it's better to hold or sell bitcoin because the price of it is unpredictable there's a time that the price of it will be rise and there's a time that the price of it will be drop. It's better to hold bitcoin when the price of it is low and it's better to sell bitcoin when the price of it is high so you can earn more money.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: March 03, 2018, 05:47:15 AM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency because there are so many people can prove to us that bitcoin is real and not scam. Many of the users here are now rich and successful because of bitcoin, they work here for a long time and now that is the reason why they are now rich.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: March 03, 2018, 02:22:45 AM
As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.

Holding is not a risk because holding can make you earn more money. It is risk only if you hold it and when the price of bitcoin goes down but I think if the price of it goes down you will still hold it and wait to the time that the price of it sill be rise.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 02, 2018, 01:39:39 PM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

I think it is a good news because there are so many bitcoin users here that hoping someday our government decide to legalized it so that we can use it to buy things in store. Other said that in their school they have a seminar about it and I think that is a sign that someday our government will decide to legalized it.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 02, 2018, 01:05:47 PM
In my opinion it's important because it allows money to become like air or the Ocean. Something that just naturally exists in our lives (without being owned by anyone) and allows us to value things in our world and store wealth.

I think in the future the value will not be determined by any government but by the world economy as a whole.

It is important because there are so many people that being help by it.  Bitcoin is so important now because there are so many users here that are depending on bitcoin.  Just like me this is the only way I know to earn money for my family.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason? on: March 02, 2018, 11:34:14 AM
Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason?

Yes I like bitcoin,  the reason I like it because it can help me to helps my family on our financial.  Bitcoin can help me in so many way just like now I can supply my own needs and I'm now an independent person.  In bitcoin you can earn to it even if you don't spend money to work on it.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in bitcoin if you don't know anything about it on: February 26, 2018, 01:28:16 PM

Bitcoin is a global craze. Even farmers, students, the older, housewives ... who are don’t know what is blockchain also buy bitcoin. Because there are so many new investors investing in it in the hope of making a big profit. But actually that is not investing that is gambling.  Roll Eyes
I do not prevent you investing to make money but invest wisely. Especially do not put all the property into bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hope people do not blindly participate in this gamble. Grin

Yes i think that is a right opinion that do not invest in bitcoin if you don't know anything about it because there's a chance that it is a scam and if it is a gambling the money that you invest will gone easily. There are so many scammer here because they all know that there are so many newbie here.

How to Explain Bitcoin to a 7-Year-Old
Quote
I’ve been explaining how Bitcoins work since 2010. Here is the simplest analogy I’ve discovered that explains transactions, anonymity, and coin production.

There’s a room that anyone can access. The room has security cameras that anyone can view, and every second of recorded footage is available online forever.

The room is filled with indestructible piggy banks made of transparent plastic. Naturally, these piggy banks have coin slots, and everyone can see which coins are in which piggy bank. These piggy banks can never leave the room.

Each person has a key that can open their piggy bank. Let’s say I want to buy a pair of alpaca socks, and you want to sell them.

First, you tell me which piggy bank is yours. Then, I walk into the room with a ski mask on. Anyone in the world can see me on the security cameras, but not my face.

Next, I unlock my piggy bank, take some coins out, then put them into your locked piggy bank. I leave the room.

Now, everyone in the world knows that your piggy bank has coins that were previously in my piggy bank. This is the case with every transaction, so everyone knows the history of every coin.

“So where do the coins come from? How did it start? Who got the first coins?”

There’s a robot in the room that runs lotteries. Every so often, this robot randomly chooses a piggy bank in the room, and puts 50 coins in it. When it first started, there weren’t many piggy banks in the room since nobody knew about it. Back then, it was easy to win the lottery. Today, there are millions of piggy banks in the room, so your odds aren’t very good.

“Ok, couldn’t someone make their own fake coins?”

No, because everyone has records of every coin in the room, and they know when the robot hands new coins out. If a fraud were to put fake coins into his own piggy bank, everyone would know that those coins were never handed out by the robot, and wouldn’t accept them.

“Who made the robot..?”

Supposedly it was a super genius Japanese man named Satoshi Nakamoto, but nobody knows for certain. Since the security camera footage is available from 2009, we can see that the robot was putting coins into a piggy bank since day 1. We assume it’s Satoshi, but that’s about all we know.

“… Crazy.”

I'm agree to this statement "that the easiest way to get a person to give your his attention when you want to explain bitcoin to him is to mention the money first" because we all know that people want money so that when they knew that they can earn to it they will be interested and they will decide to work on it.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Be Shutdown? on: February 25, 2018, 01:32:25 PM
I was just wondering, what would it take for the Bitcoin Network to be shutdown completely?

No bitcoin will never be shutdown because there are so many users that won't let that happened. There are so many users on the bitcoin that are so popular because they know that they can have an extra income even if they have a job. Others said that bitcoin can be shutdown but for me it will never happened.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 01:18:32 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

There are so many advantages of bitcoin just like it can help us to earn money even if we're student. The advantage of it to us is that it can make our life better and it help us to helps our family on our financial. The advantage of bitcoin on other cryptocurrency is that it is the one who discovered first and there are so many popular person that are working on it.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 23, 2018, 01:49:53 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

I think when all the workers here decided to not work here that's the situation that bitcoin would be die but I think it will never happened because everyone who works here will not stop because bitcoin can help their life be better. Just like what others said bitcoin is impossible to die because there are so many countries that legalized it.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 12:28:44 PM
Hello Everyone.
Recently my friends Asked me. Now I can investment with bitcoin. I said my friends. Of course you can invest bitcoin without tension.
but my friends can not believe bitcoin.my friends tell me bitcoin price always dumping. It's will be got this scam. Cry
I got this boring felling with my friends opinion. Because I always believe them bitcoin about.
Bitcoin is the real king crypto currency world. Bitcoin will be never scam. It's not possible.  Embarrassed

I think people can't believe on it because they all know that this is a scam or a gambling site. They can't believe on it because they don't understand it, they didn't know how to work on it and how it the process of it works. Just like me first I can't believe that bitcoin can help my life better but when I try it I was amazed because it helps me to become a better person.
238  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: February 22, 2018, 02:03:12 PM
I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?

For me bitcoin is not dangerous because how can you say that it is dangerous if it is legal in some country and many of user here are so popular. Other say it dangerous because they can't believe that by just posting on it you can earn money and they all know that this is a scam or a gambling site.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we really need Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2018, 01:33:54 AM
Recently, more and more I have been interested in the question of why Bitcoin was created. Who created it and for what purposes. After all, clearly there are people who control bitokoyn, well, that is - own a very significant amount Bitkoyn. Maybe it's just a new currency to replace the dollar only in electronic form. Until now, nothing is known about the creators of Bitokin. Why we need crypto-currencies, if on the idea you can use the same transfers of money cherz different banks. What happens if bitcoin collapses? Do not judge me strictly, it's just that these thoughts have visited me more and more often lately.

For me I really need bitcoin because this is the only way I know to earn money. In bitcoin I can work here even if I'm a student unlike on the other job they don't accept student as their employee. I need it because I want to help my family on our financial just like now I can help my family and buy the things that we need in our daily lifestyle.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: February 21, 2018, 02:58:02 PM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?

I think  we need social media promotion because social media holds a big traffic of people. Without social media I think we are not belong here now because we work on it by the help of social media, we know this because of social media there are so many users here that are very thankful on social media because by social media the can be rich and successful.
