221  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Improved FAN PLATE SET for BFL SINGLE's on: September 02, 2013, 03:39:55 AM
WOWE just told me, that he has shipped the first lot yesterday.
All procedures are now in place and additional orders could be processed faster.
He has produced the next lot already and has plates on stock.

Thanks for everyone who has ordered.

Would it fit on little singles too?

There's a ton of them on ebay for around $1 each or even less for a pack of 10 with free shipping from HK or China

For example

223  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Question about PCI-e Extension cables on: September 01, 2013, 06:41:04 PM
this has nothing to do with cables. 2 devices are conflicting, trying to use the same memory address for I/O probably

go into the BIOS and disable unused hardware listed.. enabled devices are allocated resources (interrupts, memory ranges, sometimes DMA channels) even if not used.

tell the bios your hardware should be managed by the OS, not BIOS. or, if it already says that, switch it to the other

if that fails, try changing card slots.

what cards are you running, and what mobo? OS version?
Vapourminer that's a good idea..

Gigabyte 970a-d3.

I fixed the problem by switching to a 20cm Extender from a 30cm Extender and reinstalling all the drivers on Vista.
224  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 2 5970s with Danger Den Waterblocks on: September 01, 2013, 03:15:01 PM
How many of the accessories are needed for 1 card? I currently have one 5970 and needs water cooling. How's the life of the gaskets? Still holding the water in?

Balanghai, this is what you need for 1 card.

1 water block for the card itself, and then the following loop:
Reservoir -> Pump -> Radiator -> Water Block ->

As you can see, it makes much more sense to do two instead of one since the only extra piece is one more water block.  You can also buy a water block for your CPU later if you like.

I dont quite know about the gaskets. Some are in better condition than others. You will need to do a leak test for 1 day to ensure no leaking.

I had this same problem after moving around some cards on my Gigabyte 970A-D3.  Unfortunately the only way I could fix this issue is by doing a system restore to an older point in time.  If anyone has any more details why this happens let me know

I am trying to use 3x5970s and 1x7950 on this motherboard. everything was working perfectly until i tried to add a fifth card
226  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 2 5970s with Danger Den Waterblocks on: August 31, 2013, 10:15:45 AM
I still have everything except the actual 5970 cards now.

Danger Den Water Blocks, VRM coolers
Water Pump
XSPC 120mm Radiator
XSPC 240mm Radiator
3 Fans (I have extra I can include actually)
Some piping (additional may be required depending on your setup)
Around 10 barb fittings
Around 10 clamps
Bay reservoir
About 25% bottle of DazMode Protector

Are you still interested?  I can throw up pics of everything if u like

233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it worth buying ASICMINER Bitcoin erupter blade at this difficulty on: August 22, 2013, 04:08:23 AM
Hello,

I have been mining bitcoins alt coins using GPU rig. Recently I have decided in buying 5 Bitcoin erupter Blades. The current difficulty is around 50810339.0483, so I'm wondering if it's worth the investment?
Are there any other miners worth buying. I looking to spend around 50BTC.

Thank you all for all the posts and all the knowledge sharing.... Keep it up and I'll try to jump in too as I can...

Very risky, 1 year+ return on investment

You can try your luck with one of the other ones...

Wouldn't it make sense to use stats.feathercoin.com?

Same thing buddy, stats.feathercoin.com is human readable (HTML), and api.feathercoin.com is computer readable (JSON)
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: August 20, 2013, 03:14:51 PM
Again - I get my stats from Cryptocoinexplorer - was it correct at the time?

Sal, where can I see the difficulty on http://ftc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/ ?
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: August 20, 2013, 02:24:54 PM
Sal,  here's a more reliable source for ftc
http://api.feathercoin.com/?output=stats

Ahh!!  So the current difficulty is still 193, but the next diff is lower.  So, it seems my stats are still correct??

Haha.  I thought you would say that.  YES,  your stats are correct now,  but they weren't 3 hours ago when I posted the above update.  Your site looks like it missed the drop in difficulty completely  Cheesy

FTC Difficulty changes.. Why do they seem to always lag behind in updates when Difficulty drops?

I concur, I am trying to implement auto switching between FTC and LTC but I cannot because coinchoose says FTC difficulty is 193 whereas its actually 137.  Can we get this fixed it would be most appreciated.

thanks
