Because mining on a VPS is almost always against the terms of service.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best choise for asic miner! on: April 22, 2018, 12:16:07 PM
i want choose algorithm that algorithm's coins their difficulty do not get bigger in long time
😂😂

In my opinion a8 cryptomaster(no a8+) is best choise But with the arrival of more devices, it's surely less money(such as antminer x3)
😂😂😂

I think you need to stop before you waste your money on buying a brick and instead begin research in coins 101 again, especially starting with how difficulty works
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why is my L3+ miner doing 930-950 watts instead of the rated 800 watts? on: April 15, 2018, 11:29:26 AM
Are you overclocking?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What if E3 is GPU based and not an ASIC? on: April 10, 2018, 02:50:08 AM
It's an ASIC. https://astr.al/u/81eb23fa_960x720.jpg

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 06, 2018, 06:32:49 PM
The current Monero price is approximately $313, however, the projection to the end of this year is the amazingly increasing number of $650. In the same line, a five-year forecast projects the price up to $4000, which proves a great appreciation of the coin from now on

Please share the location of this $313 XMR market Smiley

You can adjust the voltages on the stock firmware...

Modded firmware is unnecessary to achieve these results, the stock firmware can do the same. If anything, the devfee on the modded firmware is hurting your hashrates.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 27, 2018, 01:54:45 PM
I'm still working on disassembling their updated sgminer, but if I come across anything useful I'll be putting a post about it up.

You can pay me to take them off your hands Wink
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 27, 2018, 11:39:32 AM
Here is some inside images of Baikal Giant N miner. ASIC Chip is BK1751. Voltage regulating is a little different on N with IC regulator instead of VRM as in X10.

Thank you. It's interesting that the chips are completely different than whitefire's (https://astr.al/u/d84faf23_155x409.png)
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 27, 2018, 11:02:39 AM
wouldn't ASIC are under the heatsinkture?

I think you're forgetting the entire rig uses 60W. Less than a watt per chip, no need for any heatsinks.

@whitefire990 any chance you can get some more detailed photos of the hashboards?
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite ASIC miner on: March 11, 2018, 03:59:47 PM
So ... an Radeon HD 7990 which can do about 1.1KH needs 375W. This little wonderdivice can do 20KH with only 60W? So it is 125 times more efficient then one of the best GPU's? Interesting ... very intersting

That's a terrible efficiency for Cryptonight. I can get ~1.4KH from my desktop while only using ~200W, and even that's average at best.
