Hi, I had taken a look over syscoin's features briefly. It seems like they're featuring a similar decentralized marketplace that runs on their blockchain. Our UseMarket decentralized marketplace is very much like Bitcoin's OpenBazaar. It is essentially a p2p network. You will be able to list items you wish to sell using a client (or directly through our custom web portal) to sell for UseCoin. When you are connected to the UseMarket p2p network, other people will be able to search and browse your store and items you've listed. A lot of our code was created on our own as OpenBazaar is not a completed product, but they do have their current code available on git so we used it as baseline for our development of UseMarket.

Our goal was to allow a "as fair as possible" distribution method by offering both an IPO/Presale and a proof of work phase. Additionally, we also added free distribution for those who want to be a part of our coin community without the ability to mine or buy coins directly.

Actually the work we have done on the base Open Bazaar code is much more work than just "a bit. A lot of the functionality is not yet complete in the current Open Bazaar code, we have added a lot of these in ourselves and the code will be shared on git once we have launched the market. We plan on continuing to add features as well as further integrate usecoin and usemarket.

We are not necessarily asking for BTC as we are not 100% IPO. The IPO allows for people to ha email a chance to buy into the coin if they are unable to mine it during the pow distribution phase. The IPO funds is not needed for us to complete UseMarket but it will be used towards future development of features that the community may want to have added.

What we call the "store front-end module" has been fully integrated into our new theme off the default OpenBazaar theme. At this point it is safe to say that we are highly confident that we will meet the predetermined launch date for the UseMarket. This is a very exciting thing for us to develop and hopefully be able to launch in a smooth manner, we cannot wait for people to be able to use our coin to be able to purchase goods and services safely.

Are you referring to the free distribution shareholders? We did not plan on  publicizing the list but we could since it's all kept track in our Google forms spreadsheet.

We would prefer people not to abuse this free distribution. Also, it seems like Brand New and Newbies are unable to put our signature links in their signatures so they would need to tweet and follow us instead for the free 500 USE. We would screen the twitter accounts to make sure they're not just newly made, with at least some followers/tweets.

Here is the distribution levels:

Brand New, Newbie, Jr. Members, and Members are eligible for 500 USE
Full Members and Sr. Members are eligible for 1,000 USE
Hero Members and Legendary Members are eligible for 2,000 USE

Brand New/Newbies may not be able to use the signature, so instead they can follow and tweet us @UseCoin (then PM the tweet, do not post here) and we will add it to the free distribution.

Just a small change, both Hero Members and Legendary Members will receive 2,000 USE from free distribution instead of just 1,000.

Public beta test sign ups will start on August 26th, and the beta testing begins on September 2nd. We will share more details about this soon.

yeah, but I'm not so into the ASIC game. I feel like the only people who can truly profit are the ones who have endless amounts of money to continuously dump into the newest and most efficient ASIC miners. I'll be sticking with my GPUs mining alts for the time being. The downside is having to do the research to find the right coins to mine.

My personal wallet I use Multibit. I also use Armory for other business related wallets. I tend to stay away from centralized web wallets like blockchain.info but would use them if I am just storing a small amount of coins temporarily.

That's the dream   Puts my GPU rigs to shame.
