Rockets won 6 in a row and Clippers lost 6 in a row. Most people expect Rockets to win but I thought the exact opposite. This must be the game that both streaks are over. Rockets were close to win the game but Harden said the last word. He played like his Rockets days against Rockets ironically.
This Clippers should be in higher places, since that bad streak is over I believe they'll climb up fast. They promise so much with that roster. Harden is back to normal, Westbrook accepted his bench role, with Kawhi and George they should be in top 5 in the West.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador Nayib Bukele Portfolio Tracker on: November 18, 2023, 05:42:09 AM
Don't mind the criticism, it's a good thread. Although El Salvador's Bitcoin amount is memorized by many people I've never heard of the sites you mentioned before. There are also countries that have more Bitcoin than them. However, El Salvador is a special case. I hope their averages will go down and they will be in the profit zone soon. We know they're thinking long term, so the current net loss outlook isn't very important.

Exactly 1 year has passed since this tweet. I wonder what the latest situation is? Do they still continue to buy 1 Bitcoin per day? It would be nice if a new announcement came from Bukele.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 17, 2023, 03:50:59 AM
Easy game for Thunder. Warriors without Curry is already tasteless, they don't have Green as well. Klay plays awful and Payton is injured now. Warriors can only score with Looney and Kuminga, which is quite contradictional for them. Warriors can't compete against Thunder with only points in the paint. SGA started good, I expect an early Thunder win by 20+ points margin.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adaption in Turkey on: November 17, 2023, 03:31:52 AM
What we see here is that it is a crypto exchange shop, where various crypto currencies including Bitcoin are exchanged. However, Turkish people will benefit a lot from exchanging bitcoins here and it is a very good initiative. But this goal is not bad, but no goods are sold here, only virtual currencies are exchanged for local currency. If you want to buy goods with bitcoins, you must go to a store that accepts bitcoins. But in my country bitcoin is a legal offense for which bitcoins are not accepted anywhere, and there are no crypto exchanges and stores.

Turkish people already use big exchanges such as TRBinance and BTCTürk and deposit/withdraw/trade with low fees. Why would anybody want to use these shops and pay high fees? These are built for tourists.
Exchanging any amount of coins you want in a foreign country for the local currency without having to answer to anyone attracts many tourists. They don't mind paying 5-10% commission, unlike local people.

It looks like this may be an easy win for the Suns, as they already lead by 22 points after the end of the first half. By the way, Durant has already scored 17 points, and Booker has scored 18 points. The other Suns players are also performing well, while the Wolves have only KAT and Edwards, who are trying to do something against them.

28 points difference before last quarter, even if Suns don't score any in last 12 minutes Timberwolves still can't win. That's how easy for Suns tonight. I would've expected a reaction from Twolves but they accepted this loss. That wasn't Edwards' night for sure. Durant and Booker kept it tight from the start and won't have to work extra.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King on: November 16, 2023, 03:20:12 AM
Bitcoin never compete with other coins. The target was always silver and gold. Saying that it's better than other coins doesn't glorify Bitcoin, this is already something that should be. Bitcoin will catch silver first and then gold later. This will happen eventually, whether it's in 10 years or more.
Bitcoin is already in 12th place as total marketcap size. Clearly it will pass Tesla, Meta and Nvidia soon.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2023, 03:08:47 AM
Both teams played last minutes awful, except Jalen Brunson. Knicks got the win in the end. That was important when they play without Barrett. Randle and Quickley were okay. Hawks may have the deepest rotation in the league as Saddiq Bey said but this wasn't enough tonight. Bogdanovic had a good night, he had a fairly good chance to go overtime but that shot selection was pretty bad.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 14, 2023, 05:45:40 AM
That DeMar DeRozan pass tonight was absolutely wild. Probably the best assist I’ve ever seen. Google for it if you haven’t seen it. Wild…

That was an insane assist. ESPN put it on Youtube, I guess it won't be taken down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDkUloP0NlA
Besides that, DeRozan had an awful night, 3/14 FG. Bucks won as expected.

Knicks was on fire lately but Celtics schooled them. Tatum dropped 35 effortlessly, 17 in last quarter.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adaption in Turkey on: November 12, 2023, 11:57:21 PM
Recently I found a vlog from Turkey where we can see that there are places in Turkey where people can exchange bitcoin and crypto from the shops. just like we can exchange foreign currency with the exchangers. people in Turkey can exchange these from physical shops and it shows that bitcoin is widely accepted in Turkey.

Being living in the neighbours of Turkey, in the same Asian region, it hurts when I see that our government here wants to declare the use of crypto as illegal and does not think crypto is a good thing. Sometimes I think we need to migrate to a crypto friendly country.

You can buy or sell Bitcoin in most of the countries, Türkiye is not special about that. You still can't use Bitcoin or other crypto-currencies for shopping. These exchanges you see on the video are no different than traditional currency exchanges. You give your BTC instead of USD/EUR etc. and you get TRY.
I wouldn't call Türkiye crypto friendly country.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 11, 2023, 09:55:30 PM
Madrid vs Valencia

This match was as I predicted, in fact it seems like most of us.

Valencia conceded the first goal too early, that broke all plans for Baraja. Rodrygo and Vini were very productive today. Actually Valencia found good goal positions but Hugo Duro wasted those chances. An early goal always breaks the opponent's resistance. If the match had gone 0-0, Valencia's resilience would've increased. Still, a clear result for Real.

Girona don't surprise me anymore. My friend told me that they were conceding the first goal and I immediately opened the stream and told him they will make a comeback. It's time for Real and Barca to worry about a team other than Atletico. Grin
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 11, 2023, 09:36:15 PM
Trossard's performance is rising. A sacrificing goal and two brilliant corner kicks that made Arsenal's all three goals. No clean sheet today but that's okay. Being in second position is good in international break. Spurs lost again, hoping for City to lose some points as well.

Meanwhile ManU hardly won and Newcastle United surprisingly lost. Saw jokes about switching ManU defenders and attackers. Grin
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 11, 2023, 01:18:08 AM
I think this whole ETF excitement is overrated. SEC might need it but Bitcoin don't need this. When the market need a reason to go up and boom, there is ETF rumours. When the market need to go down boom, you see big exchanges to fall. Anyone can buy and store their own Bitcoin. There is no need for funds and asset management companies for this. If they come, it will be positive, but their absence doesn't create a deficiency for Bitcoin. The best thing you can do is to keep your own coins. If you trust Bitcoin, you already do this. The funds enable people who don't have sufficient knowledge or interest in coins to own them, that's all. It's an option, not a necessity.
234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Joining this forum has widen my horizon about Bitcoin . on: November 10, 2023, 03:31:41 AM
Before joining this forum i was thinking that Bitcoin is only limited to trading and investment  but  this forum has actually exposed my mind that Bitcoin is broad and covers a wider scope unlike my initial perception.
The greatest thing that happens to me this period is joining this forum because it gave me the  access to meet knowledgeable crypto experts and gurus and am also happy because I have the chance of learning from their Bitcoin talks and discussions and with this idea I will take the Bitcoin activities very confidencial .

Welcome to the forum. There are not many crypto experts left here besides a handful of good guys in more technical side of the forum but you can still find old threads and benefit from quality discussions that has happened here. As you may know Satoshi created this forum and his posts are still available to read.
This place is quite different than mainstream social media platforms. The userbase is also different. If you search and couldn't find an answer to your question related to Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies, don't hesitate to ask here even if it looks too simple.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 10, 2023, 03:17:56 AM
Though loss for Bucks. Especially when it was Giannis' career night. He couldn't break his career high record, he was too tired in the last period. Bucks could only score 8 points in last 7 minutes, besides last 3-point which is meaningless. Pacers played the ending better and won. Turner and Mathurin helped Haliburton for this win. Mathurin made a career high with 26 points.
I haven't watched Damian Lillard with Bucks jersey yet but I could imagine how good they would be without injuries. I also liked Pacers tonight but I guess Sixers and Celtics are in better shape than these teams in the East.

237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin transaction fees? on: November 09, 2023, 05:23:20 PM
This is getting out of control. There are some transactions that haven't been approved for a week. Moreover, while you used to get fast confirmation with around $1 fee before, now you can't get even for $3-4. If high fees will have to be paid for each transaction like in the ETH network, this won't be good for Bitcoin. Whether it's because of Ordinals or something else, this kind of traffic is something that needs to be solved for the future of Bitcoin.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 05:19:30 AM
The supply amount of each coin is different, the mining method is different, the ownership rates are different, inflation is different. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Also the price of the coin isn't the only factor. Some coins go higher prices but their inflation is also higher so in reality holders are not in profit.
About DOGE 1 dollar isn't impossible, but reaching this price can only be achieved through extremely speculative movements. You remember how it went ATH the last time. That wasn't an organic growth so it's not sustainable.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: November 05, 2023, 03:49:18 AM
I too think AI will make many jobs obsolete, but it won't replace all jobs. There are many industries that still need people.
I don't agree with the fear and anxiety issue at all. AI and robots doing many jobs will be to the benefit of humans, not to their detriment. Future generations can live a more comfortable life. Technology has always been beneficial to humanity when used for good.

Wembanyama could be the next big thing, luckily he's under Coach Pops' wings so his development will be faster and more efficient. He spoke highly about Durant and it looks like the feelings are mutual.
BTW what's up with new painting in the floor? It's hard to follow games. I watched Mavs - Nuggets game and the ground made my eyes tired. I can't even think of the players. Hope they'll realize this is a mistake and change it.
