222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 17, 2015, 02:15:33 AM
I have fun with gambling but it does not effect my life.  If your life is changed by gambling then you should seek help.  There are hotlines and even doctors that can give you therapy.  Your family is more important than having fun or getting rich.  Remember that you might hear the few stories when someone wins big, but you never hear the thousands of losers brag about losing.  They didn't build those massive casinos in vegas because people are winning.

So have fun, but don't let it ruin your life.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A major flaw with Bitcoin on: June 15, 2015, 02:38:33 PM

Money has a very distinctive smell.  A really good smell.  "The smell of money" - even sounds cool.

Bitcoin doesn't smell like anything.  Totally sterile.  That sucks.  This is what I see as the major flaw of Bitcoin.

But you forget, bitcoin also lacks stripper juice, booger, pizza stains, and any number of other nasty things that can typically be found on your favorite fiat.  I guess there is a trade off to be considered.
224  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Tips From flutterclub.com on: June 15, 2015, 02:25:30 PM
I like your bonus for sign up, it is quite generous.  However I wanted to look around the website before making an account, to check out your articles and picks, as well as have a look at some of the games.

Has anyone tried this site, and have you had any luck with their picks?  I feel like you almost don't need such picks, because the odds already indicate who is likely to win.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COPA AMERICA discussion on: June 15, 2015, 02:15:15 PM
I've had a sneaky little 0.1 bitcoin bet on Uruguay to win Copa America, it was too tempting at 14x odds.
Suarez & Cavani are lethal strikers & even though the rest of their team sometimes isn't always the best Suarez & Cavani can win a match on their own.
I'm not 100% expecting Uruguay to win but the odds were tempting & I feel they have a great chance.

Suarez was total shit during the world cup last year.
I think Suarez is still suspended for the national team,i think he cant play couple of games, because of the biting on the world cup
thats why he didnt play against paragvay i think

Yup he has been banned for 9 international matches for the bite, and thus he has to miss not just the first match but the whole 2015 Copa America.
As you can see on http://www.ca2015.com/en/team/URU/Uruguay, he is not in the team squad.
What the hell? Does this guy think he is Mike Tyson or something?  Now I have to find the video on youtube!  So from what I read here Uraguay seems to be the underdog with a good chance to win?  It might be a fun way to place a bet, but I don't know anything about soccer so it would be exciting to not know who the teams are.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4aYvyEjX4U wow and he did it multiple times?  What an idiot.  Uraguay does look like a good team though!
226  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice winning strategy disucssions on: June 15, 2015, 01:44:28 PM
I tried that martingale stragegy above with the 0.1 win rate but the problem is that from time to time you get into these huge losing streaks and its cleans you out completely.

I played on dadice yesterday, making 10 satoshi bets from money I got from the faucet.  My first 6 rolls were all losses at 50% chance.  I don't think the house is rigged, I just think that the numbers work out that way sometimes.  I rolled about 100 times, and over all it seemed that the win/lose was about 50%, right where it should be.  But lets say you are going to win 50/100 best, the order of win/loss can be very important!
227  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 3 Day Investment Program on: June 15, 2015, 02:31:29 AM
Hi, I agree with the above.  While I might be interested in something like this, I would not deal through facebook.  Please provide more information here if you are really interested in getting some people on board with your program.

.3 is actually pretty high, how on earth do you earn these payouts?
229  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Has anyone tried bitcoin-doubler on: June 15, 2015, 02:24:23 AM
OK this totally looks like a scam, but with a minimum of .001 btc I might try it out anyway lol.  It is only 20 cents so I guess I wont be too sad if I lose.  I will try to remember to post back here if I end up getting double my money.  At a double rate, I should be rich soon even starting with 20 cents.  HA!
230  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ ANN ] cryptoinvester.com on: June 15, 2015, 02:19:45 AM
I like the rates, but i won't invest right now, i need to make sure this is paying so someone who has a payment proof kindly comment here thanks

+1.  I am also interested in this game, but I won't join without some payment proof provided by forum member not affiliated with the game.
231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest win you've got in a single bet? on: June 15, 2015, 02:18:29 AM
I never won big, but I don't really bet big either.  I guess my biggest win would be like 20$ on blackjack or something.  The upside is I don't lose big either.
232  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Worth investing now? on: June 14, 2015, 10:48:24 PM
The major limiting factor for mining is the cost of electricity.  Where I live I pay ~15 cents plus it is tiered.  The more I use the more expensive it gets.  For me it would not make any money at the current bitcoin price.  Also consider that there is very likely new equipment coming out soon.  I don't really know what the prices, power, and efficiency will be for the next generation miners.  But if you are in the market it might be worth while to wait a month or two and then buy used equipment at a discount when the new stuff comes out.

If your electricity is cheap enough and you get some gear, look into mining pools.  From what I read when I was considering mining, pools seem to be the best way for a small miner to earn.

If your electricity is too expensive then you can look into antpool and hashnest.  These are run by bitmain.  Basically you can buy hardware and have Bitmain run it for you in one of their warehouses.  You pay maintenance fees and electricity fees, but you can still make money doing it this way and it might be better than mining at home.

Good luck.
233  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Litecoin And Dogecoin Double in 24 Hours on: June 14, 2015, 04:06:10 AM
OK I will bite.  How do you plan to double my coins?  And why only ltc and doge?  Would you accept another coin, perhaps btc or epy for example?  Can you provide tx id for past payouts?  Cmon at least look at the other scam threads and put some effort into it dude lol.
234  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BTCProfit.org - 111% Back - New Ponzi - 100% Automatic on: June 14, 2015, 03:58:10 AM
I dont even need to click to know this is fishy.  Why don't people seem to put any effort in to scamming anymore?  Remember the good old days when they would at least bother to make a nice graphic to go with the post?  Anyway good luck with the scam bro.
235  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: New investor based game - START: 14.06.2015 15:00 UTC - multidoubler.com on: June 14, 2015, 03:54:39 AM
So how exactly do you double coins, is this a ponzi game like crazyponzi?  Looks interesting but as always I will sit on the sides to see what happens.  Good luck Smiley
236  Other / Meta / Re: Posting restrictions. on: June 14, 2015, 03:47:58 AM
Don't worry about it too much, the restriction will be gone before you know it.  Just relax and have fun.  You get activity points for posting, and after 30 you get jr member, 60=member, 120=full member, 240=sr member, 480= hero.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The lowered transaction fees in Bitcoin core 0.10.2 are excellent on: June 13, 2015, 06:05:43 PM
Transaction fees are only 0.5% of miner revenue, so it is a myth that lowering fees will affect miners. The transaction fees are simply a little bonus.

I think you miss something. The fee are there to replace the bitcoin when block will give 0 btc.

This is why fee are important. People that want to save on fee dont understnad 100% how bitcoin work.

In Q1 2016 the block will be halving and miner will reveive only 12.5 btc if the fee do not follow then a lot of miner will stop.

We have enough power to protect the network but if more and more miner stop the security could be in danger.

So rethink your idea of fee and think for the future.  Wink

I think also the idea is that transaction volume will hopefully go up over time, and with higerh volume fees can stay the say or even drop.  I think fees are currently pretty reasonable compared to alternatives like paypal.  Especially if you are sending larger transactions.
238  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Make 10-50% weekly on average with me and 1BROKER! on: June 13, 2015, 01:31:24 PM
https://1broker.com/

Considering anyone can play this with as little btc as possible, you guys might as well just play yourself!

I might try it out, it looks interesting.  Have you tried it yourlelf?  What were your results?

To the OP, will you respond to the idea of escrow?  Are you willing to post information on your ongoing returns?  Did you get wiped out yet?  Are you using margin trading?  Just curious, but tbh I don't think that someone with such little experience can do a good enough job to make those kinds of returns all the time.  Good luck!
239  Economy / Gambling / Re: VietBet.eu - Sportsbook, Casino, Racebook, & Poker Room *** Bitcoin Accepted *** on: June 13, 2015, 01:25:03 PM
Hi the site looks good.  You must be new here Wink Most of the players around here are not used to 100$ minimum.  That may be the standard for a non-btc gambling site.  However the norm for BTC gambling is to have a very small minimum, something on the order of pennies.  The reason is that people like to have the chance to try out a new site without too much risk.  There have been a lot of scams here in the past.  I am not saying you are a scam, but this is this climate you are in, and if you want to break into the crypto wold you may want to rethink that deposit.
240  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] Scratch a Bitcoin on: June 13, 2015, 01:18:28 PM

this is a ticket with a 3 coin, and then win, you'll always have 6 coin, but only those with clear will be winners

I tryed playing again, got "internal server error" and never got to scratch my ticket.
Please send my 0,005 BTC back.

I love scratchers, but with all the problems like this, mentioned in this thread, I am not going to try it yet.  If these problems are resolved I might give it a shot.  So the win is 1/3, but are there also jackpot wins etc?  Because a straight up 1/3 isn't very good.  If there is you should edit the OP, because there are a lot of posts here and not many people will wade through all this stuff to find if someone already asked this question.
