221  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Selling off my entire DSLR photography rig PRICE LOWERED on: August 24, 2013, 05:37:20 PM
I see. So, I guess I would just have to trust you? I will consider it if the other person does not accept my 5 BTC offer.

Also, The red label is just my Phone Number and First Name. Smiley It was printed with a 1980's label maker that I was given. Tongue That is why it looks strange.

The label comes off very easily.

There isn't any background to it. Tongue

Nice way of trying to ask if its stolen, I have to trust that I wouldn't get negative feedback - or worse =P
222  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Selling off my entire DSLR photography rig PRICE LOWERED on: August 24, 2013, 05:26:05 PM
I'd have to go from paypal (basically required at this point for items other than 'Heavy Construction Equipment'. Then I would need to buy BTC - I'll be verified on coinbase in two more days and should be able to get instantly from then on.

If I made the listing (with your full input) you could fulfill it and provide me a tracking number. If we ensure only verified buyers, I we would be completely covered for any potential loss.

What is the background on this stuff? Is that an asset number I see taped onto it?

I could also list this stuff on ebay for you if you don't get what you want. Perfect seller rating:

224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What BTC Guild thinks my hashrate is vs What my hashrate REALLY is on: August 24, 2013, 03:36:17 PM
It's just software doing math incorrectly. I have seen it report double or half of my hashrate in the dashboard, but the number of shares accepted and payout are always correct.
One time I flipped my difficulty on BTC Guild to 256, it got a few shares and said my hash rate was over 7GH. All from a little block erupter =)

it's all based on the shares you submit on their end. Your machine is reporting more accurately.

Which seems futile. That's like advertising gay porn on a hetero match site.

232  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: USB block erupters are now useless. $5 - $7 each. on: August 24, 2013, 02:30:53 PM
What's the best alt coin to point these guys at when btc difficulty is too high?
use coinchoose.com, there you can check all the alt coins
Someone mentioned it must be SHA256 right?
be is sha256 only, coinchoose has sha256 and scrypt comparison, so far btc is the best coin for sha256
BTC Guild has merged mining if you are on PPLNS, i set my NMC payout address to my btc-e account and trade them for BTC

I wonder if anyone is actually going to sue. It seems like there are threats every other thread but never real action.
It would clearly be in their best interests to simply return the coin using the next round of fool's money.
235  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: August 24, 2013, 02:11:24 PM
