At the webinar Ildar told about some video solutions, which will be integrated into the platform. Could you elaborate what it would be technically?
If I got it correctly you're talking about video analyzing systems and machine learning technologies Ildar was talking about? Then for the moment can't give you the particular names or brands we will implement. that's just an idea that would certainly bring more benefits to WELL platform and make telehealth more reliable and accurate in diagnosis, for instance

Perhaps one of the most promising areas of application of the blockchain. I wanted to clarify how you will protect personal medical data?
Here the answer is blockchain. It helps to keeps medical and financial data accurate and secure. WELL recordkeeping app will allow for simplified electronic record creation and store data on a decentralized anonymized network that is significantly harder to hack and leak.

This looks like a scam.
Who are the doctors? How much do they charge?
Before I'm asked to register I would like to read about all the praticians, find out where they got their diploma, see a picture of them, see a picture of the building where they work, etc...
Besides, the whole thing is doomed if it's based in California. I'd rather go the Czech Republic, or Hungary, where I could see a similarly competent doctor for one tenth of the price in California.
hello! thanks for questions. We'll invite only licensed doctors to the platform who have all the documents for a proof and huge background. Your requirements to see all this is absolutely fine Now we are working in the states, but have plans to expand worldwide to other countries, including Europe and Asia. But that's not something done quickly - healthcare is a very serious and sensitive field

Why will have Well ICO been going from February to May? Its very long period. Are you thinking it would give you more investments?
if we reach the hard hap earlier - then ICO will be finished beforehand. You know, healthcare is a pretty bureaucratic field and our project is a long-term indeed. So it takes time to proceed with negotiations with clinic and other healthcare organization we want to partner with. At the same time, we already have demo-version of our product ready, and so don't want to wait much longer. That's why we are launching ico in February

I really like the idea of taking Healthcare aspects to blockchain soultions.
So can you tell something about your thoughts regarding legal stuff? Youre talking about global Healthcare services, but for example in Germany there is the so called "Fernbehandlungsverbot", thats preventing the video support in Health telematics at least there for now.
Its mainly a law about that the doctor must be in direct contact with you because for example of data loss (low picture quality) in the video transmission can result in wrong medical decisions. I dont know how thats handled in other countries, but whats your solution about it. Simply exclude the country from the services?
You know, thanks a lot for providing us with such info. Now WELL operates in California (USA). In states everything is alright with Telehealth solutions, they are widely used. of course, when we expand to other markets, we'll study legal issues very carefully to make everything right. As for Germany - at the moment can't give you a certain answer as we plan first of all to establish in USA and then go to other countries. Though much can change during the time. Let's hope for that

I heard about Ancestry and appreciate their work! Would you integrate any more medical programs into your platform like a remote control for bed-patients or any artificial intelligence apps?
Well, we're sure that our partnership will bring a lot of good to both sides) Yes, we do plan integrating several systems and patients devices, including remote monitoring, e-prescriptions and etc.

I think that should be a great idea if Blockchain will work in the healthcare system, recently I have seen same as a thread that's also discussed regarding this issue. so I always say that healthcare is the best platform for making money in a very convenient way. so that Healthcare in blockchain will bring a positive result for sure.
Well, thank you for such a feedback. Yep, it may be pretty profitable when we talk about money. but also it does a lot of good to people around the world. That's the main thing
|
|
|
How will pricing work? Is it by the number of minutes you talk to a healthcare professional or have a set appointment fee? Will more experienced doctors cost extra? What if you need service, but do not have a Well Token?
right, that's a fixed price for a session. Doctors set the price themselves, so yes - there will be different rates: someone will charge more, someone less. You'll be able pay for an appointment with crypto (ethereum for instance) and fiat money as well.
