221  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 04, 2018, 07:58:10 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
Helped me a lot even with my freelancing jobs, they were lots of clients that wanted to pay with Bitcoin. Though at first I never agreed with accepting payments with Bitcoin cause I felt that those using were scammers so I needed a more secure method, but at last I decided accept and happens to get myself some regular clients that’ offers me big jobs on a monthly basis. So Bitcoin really helped in that way and I have also decided to start investing in it and I’m making profit through the investment (HODL)
222  Economy / Economics / Re: "10 Common Mistakes We make with MONEY" on: August 03, 2018, 11:29:41 AM
Mistake 1: Never lend someone money you are not willing to loose. When you lend someone money, always assume you may never get it back. If you feel that after lending the money out you may not be able to survive with what is left with you, then simply don’t lend the person.

Mistake 2: Whenever you have the opportunity to meet a wealthy or an influential person, never you ask for money, but rather ask for ideas or ways which you can grow your own business. That will make you a more purposeful person.

Mistake 3: Never you spend money you haven’t received or expecting. In other words, do not buy anything on credit because Mr. A has promised you certain money, or that Mr. B will pay you the debt he owes you. It might make you to run into debts should the source fails to pay. I hope you understand this point.

Mistake 4: For proper saving, do not attempt to save what is left after spending, but rather spend what is left after saving. Like you already know, human wants are insatiable, as long as you have the money, you will always have something to buy. Also, never you keep any money you are not going to spend on short term handy or within easy reach. It is best to keep it safe away.

Mistake 5: Do not sign as a guarantor to anyone on financial matters unless you have enough or are willing to pay any misappropriation or money that may arise from the person’s misdeed. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. It can cause you problems.

Mistake 6: Do not consistently spend more than you earn or spend all that you earn. You may not have anything for the rainy days or at retirement.

Mistake 7: Do not spend more money on an item you can purchase same for less within the same neighborhood. It is not a wise spending.

Mistake 8: Never you borrow money that accrues interest to start a business. That will put you undue pressure as you will be working to service the debt and the accrued interest for a long period of time. It could be frustrating especially if things are not as perfect as you would have predicted.

Mistake 9: Do not starve your family or fail to take your child to the hospital SIMPLY because you want to save the money you have for the future. It might leave you in regrets.

Mistake 10: While it is good to save, it does not necessarily means you should save all the money you have. Learn to reinvest some so that it will yield more. It is like planting a seed or grain, nurturing and watering it to yield more fruits. This should be self-explanatory I think.

Which of these mistakes do you think people are guiltier of? Do you think there are other mistakes not included here? Please share your thoughts.

I never lend money to people and I don’t give what I will be expecting back, once I give money to people I forget about and I also don’t give much to them. I have so many problems with lending money to people, I lend the money and they promise to pay in so and so time and when that time comes they will start coming up with fake stories just to avoid paying me back my money. One thing I have learnt is that when people ask you for money that’s because they have a problem, so you should help them with what you can afford to lose.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin must come back to its original use - currency ! on: August 03, 2018, 10:59:24 AM
As the title says I am pretty sure most of us who understands "what is the actual use of the bitcoin will know what it says"

Bitcoin :
Mint Symbol : BTC
Value : Avg. 10K USD/BTC
Form : Virtual
Use : Currency

This should have been the actual thing after the Satoshi's dream to release the coin like BTC in the market. The bitcoin was supposed to be used as currency to buy and sell things the same way we do with our dollar.

The first use of BTC was done when the guy bought pizza for 10K BTC. That was the thing which should have been continued today also. No matter what how much you pay for pizza in those early days, it could have been few satoshi's today but it could have worked just fine.

The status of the BTC has now turned to commodity. The commodity which is being traded globally for the own profit and to run the different industries. This is getting ridiculous day by day as replica of it coming out of the forks.

This Should have been the Future:

Bitcoin is ebbing used as currency in 2009-2010. Government see that its popularity is growing day by day and it could be of could use in the financial sectors, lets implement the blockchain in our banks!

Bitcoin earns the legal status

Bitcoin gets widespread across the globe and rest of the country follow the same and thus the nationwide legal status turns into the global legal tender!

People start using the BTC for trading daily life needs with help of bitcoin.

There are no creation of million BTC addresses daily but the only one unique address per head per bank account!

No exchangers are being created but only handy smart phone apps and PC wallets to store the coins linked with bank chain.

Bitcoin smoothly shifts in the market capitalism and keeps going upwards slowly but steadily. The value rises and it gets cheaper to use for daily needs.

Global financial advisor think about minted coins to be formed physically with unique barcodes printed on them.

First appearance of the BTC in the global market!

Yes, that seems to me perfect. This is what bitcoin could have followed but greedy human changed its history by using it for their own benefit as commodity.
Having crypto as a currency is not a good idea, so I don’t really think you’re saying the right thing. We can use them as a payment method between friends or for making payments online and in stores, but for it to be used as the real currency, I don’t support that kind of idea.

There is nothing wrong with the way it is being used, at least we are earning income out of it through this way, it is an investment and also a method of transaction.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: August 03, 2018, 09:59:18 AM
Bitcoin opens many doors of new markets, which would affect the economy of a country, the reason why there are some countries who don't like bitcoin because cryptocurrency controlled by no one and because they don't get taxes. But if governments open there eyes and use bitcoin in its positive ways as possible you would be shocked that the third world countries who opens their gates on bitcoin will become one of the best countries we have ever seen.
Bitcoin is really good. With Bitcoin I was able to connect with people of all kinds and was also able to find a good job (an online job) after some time of looking for a job.

I’m living a good life now, and I also hope to even achieve more from here. Bitcoin is the only investment I ever trusted cause it looked legit and not like other investments and it really paid off, apart from my job I have been able to make some profit by just investing.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: August 03, 2018, 09:29:11 AM
Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .
Just like someone once said in this forum– when someone is winning, someone else is losing. So it’s a normal thing that there will always be some people that will end up as losers. But as for going bankrupt, it’s only a fool that will go bankrupt because of Bitcoin, how can you invest all the money in your bank account into Bitcoin, that’s the highest form of madness.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: August 02, 2018, 10:24:56 AM
Here's a guide on how to do cryptoinvesting.

An excerpt from http://cryptodime.net/how-to-pick-the-best-cryptocurrency-to-invest-a-guidline-to-trading/

If you have decided that you want to jump into this rapidly growing market, then there are some very important things that you need to understand. In this guide, you will learn how to choose the best cryptocurrency investment for you. We will also analyze a few hot currencies, to kickstart your research. Keep in mind that this guide focuses on long-term investing strategies and NOT active trading.
The Best Cryptocurrency to Invest in is…
Anyone who tries to tell you that the “X” cryptocurrency is the absolute best cryptocurrency to invest in, probably has a very large vested interest in it. In reality, there are will mostly likely be several big winners in cryptocurrency. It’s like the dot com boom, where companies like Microsoft, Oracle and Google ultimately became blockbuster investments. But you only made money in those investments, if you understood why they were good investments AND you had a reason to keep those investments for the long term. Otherwise there would have been a big temptation to sell them as soon as you made a little bit of profit. If you don’t understand what a cryptocurrency does or why it’s valuable, then don’t invest in it. Many of these cryptocurrencies are going to be a passing fad.

There will be a select few cryptocurrencies that will be great investments. Bitcoin has already shown us the potential. But the majority of coins will fade into obscurity. Since nobody knows which ones will be huge winners and which ones will be epic fails, we believe that the best investment strategy is to have a portfolio of currencies. Putting all of your eggs into one basket is a recipe for disaster. You don’t have to understand every single technical detail of each currency. However, you should read a lot about a currency that you want to invest in and make a very informed decision.    That is the only way to find the best cryptocurrency investments.

Anyone you decide to go for is a good choice as long as it’s one of those cons that are making names in the market and more popular. But due to the fact that most of these coins follows Bitcoin’s move I will advise that you go for Bitcoin as your first rather than going for other ones.

Or maybe if you have enough money to invest then you can divide it and put some in Bitcoin, while the rest of money goes to several others like ETH, XRP and BCH.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: July 31, 2018, 06:03:32 AM
Because BTC is not really widely accepted in the world, maybe BTC forever is fiat's slave, because I think BTC can not participate in circulation to buy goods and services for life. of each person
Exactly that is the only reason why Bitcoin is still inferior to fiat. The word “Slave” does not look good to describe the status of Bitcoin in the market. This fact can change only when Bitcoin is internationalized and accepted by all the countries around the world.

Only then the demand for money can be reduced and the use of Bitcoin might do the job. But this can be possible only after long time because right now, a huge portion of world’s population is deprived of the basic facilities like internet with is necessary for the use of crypto.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: July 30, 2018, 06:40:35 AM
I don’t know what is meant by success in gambling even i lost my amount in crypto and i would say crypto is also gambling or more than gambling.. i will never recover i think what i have done to me
Success in gambling that's the word and you can understand it. But to explain it more, it means that you are getting a lot of luck and you win all the time in gambling.
You live with a good life through gambling, you make money with gambling so this what success in gambling means. Crypto is also a gamble yes but this was totally different from gambling your money to a casino than holding or trading it which you can still have something left.

Success does not really accompany gambling. Its just a matter of getting lucky and that's only going to last for a game or two. But its so rare that you win more than your initial investment in gambling that to me makes no sense to gamble.
I only think of gambling as a great addiction and that the ones who are there in the world of gambling find it impossible to get rid of it even if they really want to get out of this. There is no such concept of success and that too in gambling.

The only thing which you can expect is the loss of most of your money and that the chances of winning in gambling are quite less and you need to think and plan smartly.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: July 30, 2018, 05:53:35 AM
Im not a gambling addict but i know some and it didnt make anything good to them. One person i know becomes addict on the game called cock fighting that is a popular gambling here in my country. He works abroad and comes back here once a year and yes, he has plenty of money to gamble with. He really likes to gamble. He even get prison on the country hes working for because of addiction. I dont have any news about him after that.
Truthfully, it has not, except if we want to lie to ourselves. Although, the whole addiction did not just start in a day as so many people just get so greedy at some point and then they just kept looking for things in the spot where they obviously cannot find it.

So many people though gamble for different reasons, but the best way is to see it as fun and see how much you are gambling with as what you are paying for the fun but the chances of winning something from it is possible. If most gamblers can think it that way, I feel things would be a lot better than it is today.
There are many gambling stories related to my neighbors and friends. Recently one of my friends was gambling in a place and the police raid that place and arrest some gamblers on the spot and some ran away. They are now wanted and the police issued a warrant against them. I was thinking that this is the result of gambling. Loss of money and respect as well.

This country may be against the gambling and will prohibit it because it has disadvantages as well besides its advantages. Addicted people do not quit it even in countries where it is banned or illegal and some times police officers arrest them on a raid or in fight against them which lead to terrible situations. Gambling is safe in countries where government is supporting it and allowing people to go to casinos as they collect tax from these casinos.
Those countries where gambling is legal their governments are collecting tax from casinos which benefit their economies. However in those countries where it is not allowed their people are gambling online which also causes addiction of gambling.

Besides casino addicted people there are online addicted gamblers as well which the biggest disadvantage is but it is up to the mind of people to gamble just for fun is the real advantage of it.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone teach me? on: July 30, 2018, 05:17:55 AM
is there anyone here who can teach me to play poker with BTC and ETH bets?  Huh
There are many sites that accepts BTC and ETH as bets. You can use your Uncle (Uncle Google) in finding any legit sites that are accepting crypto.

I think before you do it, you must do it first without any investment just for fun only then do it if you are confident enough.
Are you kidding, what does uncle Google mean? There are a lot of sites and your point is towards Google right. We can search out the sites through which we can gamble with Ethereum and Bitcoin and there are many so you will get confuse to select one of them.

Always start with less bets because there are many sites which are not authentic so you have to go towards authentic and genuine sites only.
231  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: July 28, 2018, 05:31:55 AM
Bit coins are the main axis currency of many alto coins.

However, many people do not seem to think that the bit coin itself is worthy and reliable.
But even if innovative currencies come out, bit coins will stay in the center.
If new investors like gambling, I think that we will continue to have value as currency to mediate by choosing other alto coins than bit coins.
I believe in this thing that everyone has his own way of doing the things and that there is no way that we can force others to do the things the way we want them. All you can do is that you tell others about the pros and cons of doing any certain thing and then leave the rest of the decision on them. Staying there in the world of the bitcoin is indeed the best thing to do but only when the person is ready to stay there at his own.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: July 25, 2018, 05:12:42 AM
Wall street grows ever more certain Bitcoin is a bubble. I can't even say they're wrong. Flirting with $6000 per coin and low economic utility? For as dumb as Jamie Dimon sounds every time he says anything about Bitcoin, the tulip bubble analogy looks less and less inappropriate all the time.

Quote
In a note to clients published on Thursday, analysts at UBS took a long look at Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and the blockchain technology that underwrites this whole enterprise.

Looking only at pricing, UBS said that, “a twenty-fold increase in bitcoin prices in just two years, and an absence of any fundamental economic backing, cryptocurrency prices are almost certainly a bubble.”

Blockchain utility doesn't make crypto not a bubble. That'll be important to remember for people buying now expecting to make big gains at this cost basis, and there's real risk there.
Whatever they are saying is their business and also to those that believes them. Whether true or false, I don’t want to know that, I’m already making my income from Bitcoin and I can’t quit cause of what Wall Street or whatever has to say.

If they don’t know that this is something that has changed the life of many people in the world then they better know it now. I know that there are people who lose, but that’s a normal thing in every game, people lose and people win.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason to stay in this bear market. on: July 24, 2018, 05:26:37 AM
Better to stay here in cryptovurrency because I believe it will survive for sure. It need only few months to back again what the market cap in december 2017 and after few years it will become very high the price or better than the current price right now.
Fair enough. A bearish market does not mean the end for the crypto has arrived. It is just the market phase in which the price are always down and the market can recover as well. Having said that, we can say that a phase of recovery is also there and can come around anytime which might push up the prices again and the market will no long be a bearish market.

We have witnessed such falls in the price last years as well but then we witnessed the boom as well so leaving the crypto just because the market is bearish is foolishness.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future is DOWN on: July 24, 2018, 04:53:00 AM
I'm not sure it's because I think people who use bitcoin will be more and more and that will be the reason that prices will increase and make all its profit. support factors that will answer the future of bitcoin. if bitcoin is not used and nobody invests then bitcoin will run out.
That is not the only reason that will keep Bitcoin alive but there are much more in the list and prominent among them is the fact that Bitcoin has been accepted and recognized by almost all the companies across Europe and USA and this is something thing that has added to the value of Bitcoin as well.

It is highly accepted as a mode of payment and has actually reduced the demand for cash as well as a result of which the printing of money will decrease and inflation can be controlled. There are so many reasons that people in future will prefer Bitcoin over fiat and so the future will be great for Bitcoin.
235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I WAS TRY TO FIND ONLY ONE CRYPTOCOIN EXCHANGER NOT SCAM!!! on: July 23, 2018, 06:11:25 AM
Hello Every Body ...

I Am New In Cryptocoin  Trading ....

In The Last 3 Days I Was Try To Find One Honest Cryptocoin Exchanger Without Scamming Pepole

The Result Was Very Bad All Bitcoin & Cryptocoin Exchanger Have Too Many Scamming Reports

I Like This Kind Of Trading But The Problem I Cant Find Honest One !  Undecided

Lol there are good exchanges out there that are not scam at all, they have been around for long and are still rendering good services till today. Just like Coinbase, it is one of the best exchanges out there but that doesn’t mean that you won’t see any bad reports about them, there is always a bad report no matter how good they are, but I have been making use of Coinbase for like four years now and I have never had any problem with it. So I don’t know how others manage to do so.
236  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A tool to avoid scammers on: July 23, 2018, 05:42:02 AM
Just found a new tool that I wanted to share with you all. If i knew who to watch and listen to from the beginning I wouldn't have lost so much money.... so here's to helping out the newbies. Cryptoinfluence.io has list of the most credible YouTubers ranked by the community and lists all the scammers you should avoid! It also provides comprehensive data on the user allowing you to do your analysis and look at their target audience/predict market movement. Enjoy my friends!
Thanks for this great information, it will be helpful to a lot of people. But let’s not forget the fact that scammers are being born everyday lol. Even the ones you know today can change their identity, so the best is to never trust anyone you see online cause there are scammers everywhere, only go for those that has reputation.

If you want to do business with someone new, then don’t forget to start small so in case you lose. Just continue small until they prove themselves worthy.
237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: July 23, 2018, 05:07:39 AM
look at the ICO investment field if you find right ICO to ivnest you'll be able to buy more cool cars for example. Here is interesting project - https://medium.com/@kelvinchain/the-post-quantum-era-of-blockchain-todays-solutions-for-the-world-of-tomorrow-16bdd970f49a

I never heard of such a company or site which deal with cars and accept bitcoins, if you don't pay attention then quite likely you will get Ripped..

Better to stay away from such news since most of the scammers are here and waiting for your money to steal it, Selling you an imaginary car tbh.

For now, there are not so many places which have started accepting bitcoin and other crypto currencies and that people are still using their paper money in order to get the things which they want to have in their lives. However, you can expect that you can buy the car of your own choice in the future by paying the form of the bitcoin but for now, this is something which is not possible and that you have to wait.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: July 21, 2018, 06:00:55 AM
I think the point doesn't depend only from whales and the government, there are other factors that affect the price.
Besides government and whales for maintenance we all should not follow the negative news and do not have to change our positive perceptions about the Bitcoin. This makes us to sell as we get attracted by negativity quickly because we are new here and are not so experienced. Those who are well experienced do not give importance to market discussion but make decisions correctly.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is bounty programs to the overall success of icos? on: July 21, 2018, 05:23:56 AM
Is bounty programs impacting negatively or positively to the success of icos?
Uuhm… it is helping some projects, but one thing I have come to understand about people is that they always notice the bad things than good things. When good things happen, people tend to forget easily, but when it is a bad thing they will never forget it.

Bounties is a way to help launch new projects on the Blockchain platform but some people started misusing it and using it for a way to scam others. People who are not into crypto and newbies too will be seeing Bitcoin as something bad.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: July 21, 2018, 04:49:36 AM
As usual if bitcoin remain strong againts the possible treats and discrimination by the government , but because of the decentralized character of bitcoin ,it csn continue to rise to its fame because as long as tge customers and investors trust bitcoin I see bitcoin has still a good and prosperous future to come.

I think the ideology of bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a great and unique one that will surely overcome all these flaws and in a few months we will see bitcoin prices start up again. so all has to be cold. And The truth is bitcoin is facing downtime now because fake news here and there causes panic and also people who come to say negative things about bitcoin.
Nothing is wrong with the Bitcoin besides its popularity the only thing people are thinking about is its price which has been facing with downfalls since 6 months but it is not permanent price movement but temporary as we know that it is unstable so it will act like it acted in the past and last year when its price was same like the current price but suddenly with big investments its price reached at highest place, similarly the price will obtain its highest position this time.
