There are a lots of things which we should follow while trading. I am mentioning few of them. Please see the points below:
1. Categorize your investments and look at the long picture.
2. Only invest what you can lose.
3. Don’t be greedy.
4. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify.
5. Don’t invest blindly.
6. Don’t FOMO.
7. Always pay attention to Bitcoin.
8. If you are doing any active trading, set stop losses.
9. Always learn from your mistakes.
These are things all traders know but not everyone can do it. I think we should set our own rules and train them every day. Practice each day by trading small amounts of money and always remind yourself of self-imposed rules until it becomes instinctive. Do not need too much of the principles, just 3 principles of your own and you have to do better than others. That will lead to success.  |

This would produce the most gains , but if you predict wrong you could be stuck waiting for the price to either come back up or down to get back in. I did this the other day. I sold and bought back in at what I had predicted was going to be the next upswing. However some last second sellers swooped in and dropped the price below my limit. Then it just continued to fall from there. Now I sit and wait for the price to come back up to my purchase price so I can get back at it. I hate waiting. I get antsy. I should have left some money in reserve so I could have at least bought in at the bottom. I got greedy. Now I wait.  That will be a learning experience for you and for me. I also bought a badly dropped altcoin. The current situation is no better and I have lost more than 20% of my assets. I was too greedy to see the price go down too much. Anyway, that would be a great experience and we should not make the same mistake. |

Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

I do not think that will happen in the future as the market capitalization of Crypto decreases. It seems Bitcoin is not as hot as it was in late 2017. That was bad. I am not a trader but when the market goes down I am very worried for the tokens I get from the ICO projects.  |

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
Investing is always based on skill and comes with some luck. When you're lucky, you get a bargain and your money will increase a lot. But based on experience, your capital will grow evenly and never stop. I think you should still learn more about investing. Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way' I think Gates is somehow right about this.
