221  Economy / Speculation / Re: $35 or $3,500 within 24 months? on: January 30, 2015, 01:28:31 PM
going to 35$ is more likely due to the following reason.

1) $230 is 6.6 times of $35.
2) $3500 is 15 times of $230.

So yeah, we are seeing 35$ first.

I though bitcoin-scrypt isn't allowed in this forum and would get deleted soon enough?

224  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin value is going down guy. why and when would it be back up? on: January 30, 2015, 01:03:24 PM
Hey guys I feel like I jump on the bitcoin titanic while the ship is going down. Now I'm not sure if I should jump off to save myself or sit back and enjoy the ride hopefully a big paid out at the end of the road. Why the value of bitcoin is going down. When will it be back up. What should I do please.

Halving is coming, just sit back and hold. Less mining means higher price Smiley

Free AVG, like it the most but also hate it the most for what AVG did to my google chrome.
226  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: how long will it take to make 1 bitcoin with $100 of hardware? on: January 30, 2015, 09:39:35 AM
Hi,
I am looking to start mining possibly and it seems pretty cool. If i were to buy 100 dollars of block erupters or however the most efficient way of doing it with a hundred dollars, how long would it take to get 1 bitcoin? this $100 does not include a computer to run the stuff on like a raspberry pie. from gh/s to bitcoins you have just for my own calculations? Thanks

Block erupters is very out dated gear, you would be even be consider lucky if you recover 10% of what you paid. So the answer to your question is never.

..
2 14"X36" pine boards
2 26"x14" pine boards
2 1" diameter 28" wide dowels
...

Do not forget ,  S5 is fire hazard.

S5 is fire hazard? Do you mean it is even worse then the average mining hardware?

229  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Minning Profit. on: January 29, 2015, 03:14:55 PM
Thanks to everyone the replies are  very helpfully and welcomed.

Lets say I dont have to pay a single $ regarding electricity.

How much must be my invest and what should I buy ?

Sounds like you don't have to pay electricity but someone else has to. So it is not worth to invest in it. You don't want your father to pay 2k-3k electricity bills and you are not even gaining that amount.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: So will 2015 be the year that home mining ends? on: January 29, 2015, 12:55:54 PM
I don't really understand why anyone mines at a loss, rather than just turning off their systems, taking the money they'd have spent on power and buying coin with it, instead.

If everyone will switch off their mining rigs , do you know what will happen to the coins that you buy from exchanges ? Ever heard of network security.

Well, most alt-coin adjust the difficulty in 1-2 block, so I dont think everyone will switch off at the same time. Just need enough miner switch off and its profitable again. Mining at a loss is not a good idea.

235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex maniuplation on: January 27, 2015, 01:43:39 PM
The owner was already busted.
Today, every time there has been downward movement on stamp, bitfinex locks up and takes longer than usual to load, preventing a position from being taken or exited quickly.
My imagination or the owner is filling his orders first.......

Thats called website lagging, not busted Smiley
236  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: miner help need on: January 27, 2015, 01:42:26 PM
So guys I have access to free electricity would like to know how much money to invest in miners to make atleast 2-3 btc a month ? .

Thanks 4 d help Cheers

You lack the most important information. How much free electricity do you have? If it is unlimited then you should just get the Antminer S1.
237  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Building a double Antminer Shelf on: January 27, 2015, 01:39:47 PM
Hope your board is really tick as antminer is heavy especially if you have so many of them.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any one mining with GTX 960 (latest card, launched 2 days ago) on: January 27, 2015, 01:36:05 PM
Both 960 and 970 seems to have some hardware problems right now, I was thinking of buying a few cards but will probably wait and see if they are fixed or have their price lowered.

I'm currently more interested in seeing if the 960 launch will lead to the 750 ti having its price lowered.

750 ti still seems like the card to beat for mining?

I agree 750ti still seems like best bang for buck in mining.  I think gpu mfr's will catch on to the dual benefit of their equipment eventually and start producing more powerful low power cards.

But 750ti require more slot for the same hash rate, so you will eventually spend more on motherboard, cpu etc.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear finally back online on: January 25, 2015, 04:11:17 PM
I heard LTCgear is just some cloud mining, but they just use ponzi scheme ?
And i heard it already collapsed a long time ago

Even it's online, it's still risky to invest there

I dont think LTCgear is ponzi scheme, many people have ROIed and profit more then 300%. Although you can also say that those are the lucky one but at least its not a ponzi to start with.
240  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: OMG, Butterfly Labs refunded me and I made ROI!! on: January 25, 2015, 01:59:13 PM
2 years is really long for a refund, I did pretty much forget about it already. Lucky you Smiley
