221  Economy / Economics / Re: The FED is almost Dead. (Fed = Federal Reserve Inc., a privately owned cartel). on: September 03, 2014, 06:08:25 PM
Guys i keep saying this but it's just true: 2050 is the year when USD and EUR are deep buried into nothingness. They will be worth peanuts compared to the current price. Smart money will flow into BTC and ASIA FIAT will be half of the cake. Shit will get eventually real.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Must Watch Video: America : Freedom to Fascism on: September 03, 2014, 06:04:54 PM
The question of course is how does Bitcoin fit within this scenareo? how can crypto help? First of all, we need people educated, otherwise they will keep ignoring the mere existance of Bitcoin, to begin with.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: I had a bad dream, worried it is a prophecy.... on: September 02, 2014, 11:48:24 AM
A Doom copy in your Windows 8 has more true value than any of the fucking shitty first person shooters that kids play these days. Stay calm, true value wins, similarly, Bitcoin wins.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins are you aiming to save up before Dec 31 2014? on: September 02, 2014, 11:45:41 AM
2 would be great for me  Cry
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Will you buy in next dead cat bounce if there would be one? on: September 02, 2014, 11:42:32 AM
Why would I sell? I just have to wait and be rich in 10 years. I dont care about risking it in up and downs.

As posted by another poster:

Of course the fools of the world can't see the forest through the trees! It's way too early for most of those near the median of the IQ bell curve. They'll come around sooner or later, when their nation's fiat is collapsing under the weight of inflation and/or debt-crisis.

Pay our salary, we'll come work for you.' And they said, 'No.' So then we went to Hewlett-Packard, and they said, 'Hey, we don't need you. You haven't got through college yet.'"

Good tips, but also check your hormone levels, and maybe go on TRT if needed. Low testosterone sucks.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: September 02, 2014, 11:32:32 AM
I lost zero, but been scammed plenty of btc. Does that count? I was scammed ~500btc back in 2011 when the whole forum was still naive to scams, last year got scammed a bunch more on LBC due to bank reversals, then earlier this year got fuked by mtgox.
God damn 500? how in hell? I would be super depressed. And no it doesnt really count, as someone may be enjoying that money right now as we speak  Roll Eyes
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as prize money for achieving highscores in high-ranking iOS/Android apps on: September 02, 2014, 11:30:59 AM
This would be great but will the blockchain be able to keep with all the micropayments? Well maybe its not a problem if its daily and for the top3 only I guess.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin changing my ideology from socialism to libertarianism! What about you? on: September 02, 2014, 11:29:04 AM
Hong Kong and Singapure have the highest GDP in the world and are 2 shitholes of a country. GDP means nothing.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low-cost Firefox Phones Could Bring Bitcoin to Developing World on: September 02, 2014, 11:27:18 AM
Legit. We need cheap technology that can handle Bitcoin wallets if we expect global adoption. Of course I dont expect Bitcoin QT to run on there, but lightweight wallets should work smoothly I think.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most basic explanation should on: September 02, 2014, 11:24:15 AM
Obviously supply and demand, but supply and demand can be manipulated by groups of whales, which can change trends, BUT the overall picture remains the same: BTC will keep getting more valuable in the future for long term, whereas FIAT will keep depreciating, and about 2050 it will be worth shit. THIS IS MATH.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do average people run full nodes on: September 02, 2014, 11:22:23 AM
These profitless nonego driven people is who keep bitcoin alive, not other.

I can't possibly run a node due my shitty PC specs.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We neet bitcoin ATMs on: September 02, 2014, 11:19:52 AM
Yeah, yes we do, but we need to stop the ID scan and all that fucking orwelian looking shit. We need to do it anonymous FFS, otherwise it defeats the point. Look at this shit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnm4xFC2xNo

We need to avoid this shit ASAP. We need to make it simple. Put FIAT into machine, Bitcoin gets transported in your wallet, period! We need to hire people as security to avoid people robbing you and what not and that's about it. No one is going to want to scan their ID's and creepy shit like that.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Average Joe thinks about Bitcoin on: September 02, 2014, 11:16:02 AM
This sort of gives me hope. I consider myself a boat misser, since I didn't buy back in the day and im not filthy rich now. But maybe im still an early adopter after all, not pioneer tier, but early adopter, and maybe with 10 BTC, i can be rich in 10 years, when the average moron is FORCED to move their assets into alternatives because the FIAT ponzi scheme starts collapsing. I said it before, we need it in eBay and Amazon as the start.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next boom within 3-4 months tops on: September 02, 2014, 11:01:56 AM
We won't see under $1000 USD again after the next boom. There might be a small rise at the end of the year with anticipation but I think something major needs to happen for a significant influx of new money (BRIC adoption, financial collapse, reward halves etc).

The next bottom will probably be around $1500 and the peak at abou $5000 or more, but how far are we from that?

far as forever

you should hope bitcoin don't break $300 and $200 first, would you?
Wrooong. No one cares how low it goes, objectively speaking i'll surpass ATH eventually. So if you sell now, you are lossing shit loads of money in 10 years, it's too much of a risk. Buy and hold. It's like you guys want to be poor?
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Good news" vs. price on: September 02, 2014, 10:55:52 AM
We need BTC accepted in places where normalfags do their daily online consumism, aka eBay and Amazon. Once we get there the "Pay with Bitcoin" button people will think what the hell is that? Then google "Bitcoin" and learn about it. It's the only way. Normalfags aren't going to be checking underground news anytime soon.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Professor Bitcorn is right, BTC to $10 on: September 02, 2014, 10:53:46 AM
We've been seeing predictions like this for years now, you can search for older posts. Guess what: All of them failed misserably. Just another post to revisit in a year and laugh at. Fucking lol.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 dollars within weeks. on: September 02, 2014, 10:51:18 AM
Traduction from OP's post into real language: I missed out hard at being a BTC pioneer, so everytime it goes low I enjoy other people lossing wealth, even tho Bitcoin will be 10K in 2018, so I need to get in FAST as low as possible. Im also retarded enough to think making posts in BTCTalk will have any impact on the BTC price. Cheers.
239  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Fappening link.. (WOW/FAP/NSFW) (DMCA'd :/) on: September 02, 2014, 10:48:45 AM
That address is not from the original leaker. The original leaker, last time I checked didnt got even 1 BTC. Don't expect people donating for making an album of previously leaked pics.  Roll Eyes

I only know blogger and wordpress, it's the standard to go blog IMO. Wordpress with a good theme makes it look great and everything is simple.
