221  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you remember Bitconnect? I lost 3500 dollars in this pyramid! on: June 18, 2018, 08:12:03 AM
Pyramid schemes don't last long. I have a lot of friends involved in such projects for 50 to 100 dollars, waiting for x5-x15 and bring money. Of the 10 projects, say 1-2 projects bring such a profit. I don't like such companies. All of them sooner or later are closed, a matter of time.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Forever(?) lost coins on: June 17, 2018, 06:08:37 PM
At the moment they can't be returned. I read a couple of months ago about the company that is developing a product that will allow the lost bitcoins to be returned. If someone finds the name of the company - write here.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 17, 2018, 05:48:49 PM
We all need shelter, food, basic necessities. To buy this and other goods and services you need money. Only the economy can give proper economic education and teach us to earn money.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 16, 2018, 09:43:54 AM
Theoretically, there may be many more falls: 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000 and below. I believe that below 5000 bitcoin don't go without good reason.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: June 16, 2018, 09:35:03 AM
It might be a good way to attract new investors who are planning to invest into crypto-currencies for the long term, looking at the current price of around $6500 USD per bitcoin, new investors could purchase a few bitcoins and wait patiently for the return of the bull market.
As the history of google trends shows that new investors come only when the cryptocurrency is growing rapidly but not when it updates the bottoms.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: What started this bear trend? on: June 15, 2018, 08:20:02 AM
The beginning of the bears market was caused by overheating and overbought in the cryptocurrency market. Of course there is manipulation in the market, otherwise it would be calmer and less volatile.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy tether when the market is crashing? on: June 15, 2018, 08:04:32 AM
I’m on the newer side to crypto, just want to say that first.

Tether always stays between .99 and 1.01. How, I don’t know. With it never really changing in price, why not convert your cryptos to tether to avoid losses when the market is crashing?

This step has long been done by everyone. Despite a large number of rumors and accusations this stable coin is still used by traders around the world.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend less bitcoin/alts now? on: June 15, 2018, 07:48:33 AM
I hold bitcoin and I was thinking if it was going up I would spend some, just a little bit, as a way to cash in my profits. But with the current market I just hold, I don’t want to spend my coins at such a cheap price because it will feel like a loss to me.

Do you feel the same way? What are your thoughts?

For each of my assets I wait for a certain price, below which I will not sell. When this price is reached, I will set the stop loss and will move it up. In the meantime I'm watching the market.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: June 13, 2018, 04:12:19 AM
There are 2 possible options:
1) The government wants to sell its assets of gold and silver to citizens, but not to other countries
2) The government gives the right advice for preserving capital. Gold and silver show better results each crisis.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: June 13, 2018, 04:00:40 AM
Apple can create its own cryptocurrency and use it in the apple store and for payments and transfers in internal applications. And it will be big hook for companies that are partners of Apple.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: June 12, 2018, 08:17:15 AM
I am not sure if I am putting this in the right section.

Anyway, what are some of your guys biggest bitcoin losses?  Did many people here loss everything with Mtcox?  For me it is online casinos.  I do have a moderate gambling habit so it was bound to happen.  Cry
My biggest loss is participating in a fraudulent scheme where I lost 1.2 bitcoins. It was my start in cryptocurrencies and a very strong lesson. After this incident my faith in earnings on cryptocurrencies didn't break down and I recouped long ago.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency should I invest in, in 2018? Why? on: June 12, 2018, 07:52:06 AM
As the practice of the first 5 months shows it is necessary to pay attention to the projects and protocols. Projects in these areas show the best results.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: June 11, 2018, 07:43:55 AM
The fall of the dollar is possible in case of an upcoming crisis. This crisis will not pass without a trace. It will catch the economies of all countries. I believe that the crypto-currencies will also fall under its influence.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you manage potential losses during a crash on: June 11, 2018, 07:36:43 AM
I think that the only correct solution that will help to save money during the fall of prices is using the stop loss. Averaging is not the best solution. If you constantly use averaging then someday the money will run out.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: June 09, 2018, 09:38:32 AM
It is necessary to increase the financial literacy of people. We at school study social science, natural science, and biology. Why do we need all this? Of course, it is important to be fully developed, but in adult life everything leads to money and the ability to provide for your loved ones. It is necessary to include financial literacy in the programs of schools and universities.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: June 09, 2018, 08:29:39 AM
So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper  than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide  which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?
Why can not we afford bitcoin? Bitcoin has 8 fractional signs. You can buy 0.0133 bitcoins for $ 100, this is not a problem.
My portfolio is entirely of altcoins. I believe that this will give me a better result.
237  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Are there any reputable betting platforms and games that accept crypto? on: June 08, 2018, 07:20:07 AM
Just one more week is the world's largest football festival will begin. I would like to participate, experience, entertain with world cup-related betting. So, there are web or mobile platforms that do gaming and soccer betting accept crypto. This is not a recommendation, and I'm really excited about this festival. Kiss
There is a decentralized service - stox.com. There are bets on events in the yes / no format. The potential prize is formed from the calculation of the rates of other participants, not the coefficient.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 08, 2018, 06:56:05 AM
People are afraid of losing their main job because it's their comfort zone. I know many people who abandoned their main work and made efforts in the direction of the cryptocurrency. Interesting fact - none of them returned to the main job)) Now they earn on cryptocurrency 2-10 times more than before on the main job.

240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst Exchange Experiences on: June 08, 2018, 06:34:22 AM
I have bad impressions of hitbtc and livecoin. Hitbtc uses large commissions and the withdrawal process takes a long time. Livecoin removed my account after I made a complaint to the exchange.
