In my humble opinion, the best way to invest is in STO because STO is much safer than ICO since they comply with securities laws and they are also backed underlying asset, while IEO main advantages are trusted but full of hype so that they can push their native token.
In long term investment still, STO is the best but if you need an instant profit then go for IEO.

ICO is a thing that you don't have to think about, its history can make you decide immediately. LOL.

You should indicate here all your evidence like, links, transaction records or even images of what part you've been scammed.
I used latoken for a long time and I didn't get scam by that platform, all my activities there are smooth. All my transactions there are good.
I'm not defending them but you should contact or file a ticket on their support maybe they can help you.

If you have enough evidence to prove your accusation then post it, so that we can be aware too.

In my humble opinion it wont happen. Ethereum already showed the best of the best. While BNB is still in development and I  can't deny the BNB is doing great. But for now I can't see any reasons that BNB can beat ethereum. Yea for sure BNB can be use in IEO within binance but not in all exchanges. Ethereum is one of the major crpyptocurrency that is used in every exchanges or even in banks and online payments. If time comes that BNB also have it,  I'm sure Ethereum also have a major development.

ICO is now dead it is because lot of investors lose their money. In the past year ICO become the bread and butter of scammers.
So when you still thinking of investing ICO, think it many times and make sure to do some research. I'm not saying that all of it's a scam but most of it.
Maybe we should consider IEO as a good way to invest because of its regulation and legitimacy.

For me is that how it can be use in a real world because if the main reason of that altcoin is to increase its value in the exchanges but have no real use well it's nothing. It is full of hype and no reasons at all to continue supporting it. The future of it matters, not just how you make money by doing pump and dump because in the other hand there are investors lose their money because of our selfishness.

For me IEO is better than ICO because IEO have no chance of scamming their investors. We all know that those exchanges  have a name to protect and they made sure that the team behind those projects are real. The problem in IEO is that the pump and dump or price manipulation is still there.
In the other hand ICO have a big chance of scamming those investors especially  who don't dyor. What happened this past was they hit and run.They just collected the money and abandoned the project. I knew plenty of ICO like that.

For me IEO must be supported by everyone but be careful because the price action was manipulated by those whales.

No investors will put their money for nothing. It's a basic rule that if you're going to invest then you should do your own research before investing.

ICO is so risky and we have to be careful specially if we're going to invest with such a great amount in it.
